Description

Dynamic scenario-oriented language digital teaching method and system
Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of digital teaching, in particular to a method and a system for dynamically adjusting dynamic scenario-oriented language digital teaching of a language digital teaching scenario by utilizing the voice learning response information of learners.
Background
There are many different types of digital learning materials in the prior art, such as: one of the digital learning platforms is a digital learning platform which is recorded (recorded) by a supplementary education provider or a teacher in a college and then uploaded to the network to pay for students or downloaded and watched without charge, and the other is a digital learning platform which is recorded by a digital learning teacher to a professional celebrity for a school course committee to sell.
Another is a digital learning system, in which a digital teacher uses various digital objects according to its own layout, such as: the digital learning system is edited by a virtual electronic whiteboard, a virtual (robot) teacher, voice, characters, pictures, films and the like. Thus, students can learn from class, and also can learn or review in the rest time by using any digital learning textbook or digital learning system.
Many manufacturers have applied for many patents for the above-mentioned digital learning system, such as: US20090031215 discloses a method for editing digital learning content by using a modular interface, US7631254 discloses automatically creating contents to be displayed on an electronic screen by using a text electronic file, and chinese CN1525320A discloses generating corresponding courseware agent programs according to contents of each chapter and learning process of courseware.
In addition, several interactive and dynamic digital teaching systems have been developed by the manufacturers, such as: israel's cognitive establishment opportunity company (Time to Know Ltd.) U.S. patent publication No. US9626875, a digital learning system divides students into different learning groups according to their interactions in a teaching system, and can distribute learning contents to the respective learning groups, and provide the learning contents that the students can dynamically recombine the students. In addition, U.S. patent publication No. US20110065082 (related chinese patent publication No. CN 102696052A) generates digital teaching contents based on the user's selection of a digital learning object on a template and the data and relay data inputted by the user.
However, the above-mentioned digital learning materials or digital learning system can only play the digital learning materials in a single-sided and linear manner, and cannot be as the conventional teaching method, the teacher interacts with the students in the classroom, and the teacher can adjust the teaching contents at any time according to the learning results of the students, for example, the conventional teaching uses the materials (such as textbooks or briefings) for teaching by the teacher, and the students listen to the knowledge taught by the teacher, and the teacher may ask some questions of the students in the classroom in order to master the learning status of the students, if the students cannot answer the correct answers, and the teacher will adjust the current teaching contents if the students do not know the current teaching contents, for example: the teacher may review the previously taught lessons or supplement other content to allow the student to further understand the teaching.
In addition, in the technical means provided in the aforementioned patent documents, the teacher (i.e. teacher) needs to provide reports or perform system management in the digital learning system according to the learning status of the student, so as to dynamically adjust the digital learning content. It is not possible for the digital learning system to automatically adjust the digital learning content according to the various types of voice feedback of the student on the system (e.g., the answers aiming at non-questions, choice questions, question and answer questions, answer with a picture, translation questions …, etc. in a voice manner).
In short, all the existing digital learning teaching materials, digital learning systems, patent antecedents, etc. cannot be taught by teachers according to the responses of students as in real teaching, and therefore improvement needs to be made for the problem.

Detailed Description
To facilitate the examiner's understanding of the features, contents, advantages and benefits of the present invention, the present invention will be described in detail below in the form of embodiments with reference to the accompanying drawings, wherein the drawings are used for illustration and the description is provided for the purpose of assisting the examiner with the understanding that the present invention is not limited to the actual claims.
Referring to fig. 1 to 3, the present invention provides a dynamic scenario oriented language digital teaching method, which is applied between a providing end 1, an editing end 2 and a learning end 3. The providing terminal 1 can be a network server or a computer, etc. which can be a first electronic device connected remotely via a network, and the providing terminal 1 is provided with a dynamic scenario-oriented language digital teaching system, which includes a teaching editing unit 10, a database unit 12 and a course execution unit 14. The teaching editing unit 10 is composed of a programming language, the database unit 12 is used for storing teaching materials such as characters, translations, sounds, pictures, images, animation of a virtual teacher, mouth shapes, expressions, gestures, etc. required in the digital teaching process, and the teaching materials are stored in the database unit 12 in the form of digital objects, for example: the sound is a real-person recorded file or a voice electronic file synthesized by mechanical voice (e.g. a file in MP3 format), and the pictures, images and animations are corresponding electronic files, such as: jpg, png format digital graphic file, mov format digital movie file, or gif format digital animation file.
In the present invention, a language teacher or a language teaching material designer (hereinafter, abbreviated as editor) connects to a providing terminal 1 via a network at an editing terminal 2, or edits and creates at least one teaching scenario directly at the providing terminal 1 using a teaching editing unit 10. The teaching scenario includes a plurality of basic teaching scenarios and a plurality of scenario variation conditions, and the teaching scenario may be stored in the database unit 12. The basic teaching scenario includes characters, translations, sounds, pictures, images, animations, and script information of teaching materials such as animations, mouth shapes, expressions, gestures … of virtual teachers. In addition, each tutorial script may be stored in the database unit 12.
In addition, the scenario change condition is used for describing a basic teaching scenario to which the teaching scenario should be connected when receiving voice evaluation reply information with different meanings, so that the virtual teacher makes expression, gesture or spoken language response according to the script information. In addition, the voice evaluation reply message includes voice answers with different meanings, or the quality of the voice answer of the learner at the learning end 3 reaches different levels, or the learner at the learning end 3 sets which basic teaching scenario to be continued to by voice aiming at the answers of non-questions, selection questions, question answering questions, figure-of-view answering questions, translation questions and the like and by using a conditional branch instruction, a loop instruction, a random number … and the like.
The editing terminal 2 may be a computer or a related second electronic device with a networking function and receive the teaching editing unit 10 via a network, or the editing terminal 2 may be a user of the providing terminal 1 and the teaching editing unit 10 may be used directly on the providing terminal 1.
Referring to fig. 4, the teaching editing unit 10 is presented in the form of a human-machine interface (e.g., a window interface) at the editing end 2 or the providing end 1, the teaching editing unit 10 includes a script editing unit 100, a voice editing unit 101, a virtual teacher image selection unit 102, a virtual teacher response selection unit 103, a voice evaluation unit 104, a script image selection unit 105 …, etc., and is presented in different frames or buttons on the same human-machine interface, and the editor uses the script editing unit 100 to edit the script information of the teaching content, as in the case of writing a general programming language, the applicant of the present invention will provide various descriptions of editing grammar to the editor for reference.
The voice editing unit 101, the virtual teacher image selection unit 102, the virtual teacher response selection unit 103, the voice evaluation unit 104, the scenario image selection unit 105, and the translation editing unit 106 … provide representative grammars of teaching materials, such as the voice electronic file, the virtual teacher character image, the animation, the mouth shape, the expression, the gesture of the virtual teacher response (e.g., a fond learner), the voice evaluation condition of the student response, the picture image, and the language translation editing unit …, which are previously stored in the database unit 12 by the editor, respectively, in order to facilitate the editor to add the teaching materials to the scenario information of the scenario editing unit 100. Further, the course introduction editing section 107 provides a description field for the editor to write the course name, introduction or annotation, which can be stored together with the script information as the content of the teaching script.
In addition, after the editor has made the teaching script, the editor uses the compiling button 108 of the teaching editing unit 10 to perform conversion, so as to generate the digital teaching lesson that can be received and used by the learning terminal 3, and the digital teaching lesson is stored in the database unit 12 of the providing terminal 1. The conversion process is to make the digital teaching lesson obtain the required teaching materials in the database unit 12 according to the representative grammar of the script information. Further, the editor can use the storage button 109 provided on the human-computer interface of the teaching editing unit 10 to store the script information currently in the script editing unit 100. In addition, the teaching editing unit 10 is provided with an execution button 110 on the man-machine interface, and when the editor presses the execution button 110, the editor can test the teaching scenario being edited so that the editor can browse the editing result.
In addition, because the teaching contents need to use the characters, translations, sounds, pictures, images, animations, mouth shapes, expressions, gestures … and other teaching materials of the virtual teacher, which are replaced by the representative grammars of codes, network addresses or codes, the capacity of the digital teaching courses is not too large. When the digital teaching course is executed, the providing terminal 1 uses the code, network address or code to obtain the teaching material from the database unit 12 and transmit it to the learning terminal 3 for output. For example: the representative grammar of the virtual teacher character image may be replaced with codes such as 'virtual teacher a', 'virtual teacher B', and 'virtual teacher B' …; the representative grammar of the favorable voice of the learning terminal 3 can be replaced by codes such as favorable 'of' 100 points ',' favorable 'of more than 90 points', 'favorable' of more than 80 points, and the like; the representative grammars of various expressions of the virtual teacher can be replaced by codes of 'smile', 'approve', 'frown', 'head shake', 'listen', and the like; the typical grammar of a common teaching scenario can be replaced by codes such as 'pronunciation method for explaining the consonants TH', 'use method for explaining English pronouns', 'meaning for explaining the four tones of Chinese' and the like.
In the invention, in the conversion process, the text and the sound content of the words to be spoken by the virtual teacher can be dynamically analyzed, and then the appropriate representative grammar of the expression animation of the mouth shape, the expression and the gesture of the virtual teacher is added into the digital teaching lessons. Thus, when the digital teaching lesson is executed, the virtual teacher can make a correct pronunciation mouth shape corresponding to the sound content and an expression and a gesture corresponding to the sound content.
For example, the editor may use the tutorial editing unit 10 to specify that the virtual teacher should display a certain type of expression or gesture when speaking a certain sentence, including but not limited to "smile", "approve", "please", "i", "we", "please see blackboard", and so on. In addition, the teaching editing unit 10 will analyze the information of the sentence such as length, pronunciation, tone, rhythm, accent, etc. during the compiling process, and then automatically select a representative grammar suitable for the expression or gesture of the sentence to be added to the digital teaching lesson, for example: and animation information of which time point after the virtual teacher starts to say the words, the head, eyes, eyebrows, lips, and positions and angles of hands to be placed, and the like.
The sentence Analysis may be Natural Language Parsing (Natural Language Parsing) technology, Natural Language Processing (NLP) technology such as text emotion Analysis (Sentiment Analysis), etc., and analyzes and finds the emotion of the sentence of the virtual teacher, for example: the sentence is analyzed to be positive and encouraging, the teaching editing unit will automatically generate the representative grammar of the smiling expression of the virtual teacher, so that the virtual teacher will make the smiling expression even if the editing end 2 does not edit the smiling expression when the learning end 3 executes the sentence. For techniques for 'Natural Language Parsing' (Natural Language Parsing), reference may be made to grammatical parsers such as "The Stanford Parser" published at Stanford University, USA, and "The Berkeley Parser" published at Berkeley University, USA. For 'text sentiment analysis' techniques, reference may be made to "Peter turney. (ii) literature of semantic organization Applied to unscuperviced Classification of reviews. proceedings of the Association for computerized linearities: 417-424.2002.
In the present invention, please refer to fig. 5 and 6, the learning terminal 3 can be a third electronic device with networking function such as a desktop computer, a notebook, a smart phone or a tablet computer …, and is connected to the providing terminal 1 via a network, and the providing terminal 1 provides the learning terminal 3 with the content required by the digital learning interface 30 using the course execution unit 14, the digital learning interface 30 is provided with at least one digital teaching course for the learner of the learning terminal 3 to select, wherein the digital learning interface 30 can be a web interface, and the learning terminal 3 can be connected to the providing terminal 1 using a web browser, so that the course execution unit 14 provides the digital learning interface 30 to the learning terminal 3. The course execution unit 14 may be executed on the providing terminal 1, or may be downloaded from the providing terminal 1 to the learning terminal 3 for execution.
In other words, when the learner connects to the providing terminal 1 at the learning terminal 3, the course executing unit 14 provides the digital learning interface 30, so that the learning terminal 3 can select one of the digital teaching courses in the digital learning interface 30, and then the course executing unit 14 will fetch the corresponding teaching materials from the database unit 12 of the providing terminal 1 to the learning terminal 3 according to the selected digital teaching course, start to present the contents of the digital teaching course at the learning terminal 3, and make the course executing unit 14 make the virtual teacher make the appropriate expression, gesture, and spoken language responses according to the scenario change condition, or automatically continue to the appropriate teaching scenario described by the teaching scenario, according to the voice evaluation reply information made by the learner at the learning terminal 3.
In the present invention, the quality of the voice response evaluated by the course executing unit 14 is comprehensively judged according to one or a combination of more than two of the factors such as pronunciation, intonation, rhythm and accent of the voice evaluation reply message transmitted from the learning terminal 3, and regarding the above-mentioned evaluation method, the techniques disclosed in taiwan patent publication No. I336880 or taiwan patent publication No. 556152 can be used, but the present invention is not limited thereto, and any person who can be applied in the present invention to evaluate the voice quality belongs to the technique.
In the present invention, since each teaching material has been converted into a representative grammar of a code, a network address, or a code, when an editor adds a new teaching material to the database unit 12 at the editing end 2 or the providing end 1, even if the original teaching script is not changed, the learning end 3 will directly use the newly added teaching material in the database unit 12 during the course of executing the digital teaching course as long as the newly added teaching material has replaced the old teaching material in the database unit 12. For example: if the code 'virtual male teacher A' is used as a representative grammar in the teaching script, the code is used for representing a certain virtual teacher role in the teaching process. Thus, when the providing terminal 1 adds a new 'virtual male teacher a' to the database unit 12 to replace the old 'virtual male teacher a', the learning terminal 3 can also automatically select and use the new 'virtual male teacher a' during the course of executing the digital teaching lesson; if the code 'smile' is used as a representative grammar in the teaching scenario to represent the expression response of the virtual teacher, when the providing terminal 1 updates the expression action of 'smile' in the database unit 12, the learning terminal 3 can automatically select the updated 'smile' expression action in the process of executing the digital teaching course; if the teaching scenario to be executed in a certain situation is represented by using the code 'pronunciation method for explaining the sub-sound TH' as a representative grammar in the teaching scenario, and when the teaching scenario conforming to the 'pronunciation method for explaining the sub-sound TH' does not exist in the database unit 12 yet, the learning terminal 3 will automatically skip the teaching scenario, but after the providing terminal 1 adds a teaching scenario of 'pronunciation method for explaining the sub-sound TH' in the database unit 12, the learning terminal 3 will automatically take and execute the new teaching scenario in the process of executing the digital teaching session.
In order to further understand the technical features and advantages achieved by the present invention, the following description will be made in terms of digital language learning. Before starting the description, the definitions of the native language, which may be one or more languages, and the foreign language, which is the language the learner wants to learn, are described. In addition, reference is made to the definition of wikipedia for the native language, which refers to one or more languages that a person first contacts, learns, and grasps after birth, and the foreign language, which is the language that the person wants to learn because of demand or any motivation. For example, one's native language is chinese and english, and learns spanish due to work needs, and japanese due to an interest in japanese-based texting, which are foreign languages. Thus, for the learning language, the words include both native language words and foreign language words, the translation is such that native language words correspond to foreign language words with the same meaning, and the sound includes native or foreign language speech.
A first embodiment of the invention, the human machine interface shown in figure 4, is provided to a tutorial editing unit 10 for use by an editor at the editing end 2. The editor can edit the teaching script such as ten major parts of english, five basic sentence patterns, present formula, past formula, future formula, relational clause, pronunciation method of explaining the sub-sound TH or pronunciation method of practicing want …, and convert it into digital teaching lessons to be stored in the database unit 12 of the providing terminal 1.
When the learner selects one of the digital teaching courses using the learning terminal 3, the digital teaching course (as shown in fig. 5 and 6) is displayed on the digital learning interface 30, and the digital objects such as the virtual teacher 300 and the virtual electronic blackboard 302 … are displayed on the digital learning interface 30, so that the virtual teacher 300 can display corresponding animation, mouth shape, expression, gesture and the like according to each basic teaching scenario, the virtual electronic blackboard 302 can display characters, translations, pictures, images and animation, and the sound is output by a sound output device provided in the learning terminal 3.
When the digital learning interface 30 presents a basic teaching scenario of a section of the digital teaching course process, the virtual teacher 300 requests the learner end to reply a sentence, such as 'I wait to play in the park', the virtual teacher 300 and the virtual white board 302, and obtains the corresponding teaching material according to the code, the network address, or the representative grammar of the code for presentation. In addition, the sentence is edited in advance to have a scenario change condition as a quality level for evaluating the voice response of the 'want' single character, a conditional branch instruction is utilized, when the quality level reaches the standard, the next basic teaching scenario continues, otherwise, the basic teaching scenario for practicing the 'want' pronunciation jumps to, and a loop instruction is utilized to practice the basic teaching scenario for the 'want' pronunciation three times, at this time, the providing terminal 1 determines to continue the next basic teaching scenario or jump to the basic teaching scenario for practicing the 'want' pronunciation three times according to the received voice evaluation reply information replied by the learning terminal 3.
In the second embodiment of the present invention, the editor may edit the chinese teaching script to compile into the chinese digital teaching course, and in one of the basic teaching plots of the chinese digital teaching course, the learner is required to recite "i want to eat beef" at the learning end 3 along with the virtual teacher 300, and if the executive end receives the voice evaluation reply information of the learning end 3, it is determined that the learner at the learning end 3 pronounces the third sound of "want" as the "fragrance" of the first sound, the providing end 1 finds the teaching plot set to be specified by using the conditional branch instruction according to the plot change condition thereof, so as to teach how the learner correctly pronounces the third sound of the chinese.
Therefore, the invention can be applied to the digital voice (video) learning of different foreign languages, and can enter into a proper basic teaching plot by using plot change conditions to carry out review, exercise or general learning, so that a user at the learning end 3 can experience the feeling of real teacher teaching guidance.
In addition, the problem of mistakes made by the learner of the foreign language in learning the foreign language may result from the habit of using the native language, in which the pronunciation of the native language affects the pronunciation of the foreign language, the taiwan may not be likely to pronounce the 'th' or 'sh' of the english, and the japanese may not be likely to pronounce the 'l' or 'r' of the english. In addition, the grammar habit of the native language affects the grammar learning of the foreign language, or the foreign language learners of different native languages learn the same foreign language, and may also make the same mistake, such as: when learning English, the usage of the conjunction words such as 'in', 'on' and 'at' is wrong, and there may be many other problems.
Therefore, in the present invention, in order to solve the above-mentioned problems, in the course of the providing side 1 and the learning side 3 performing the digital teaching lesson, if, the lesson execution unit 14 at the providing terminal 1 judges that the voice evaluation reply information at the learning terminal 3 makes a mistake in pronunciation, intonation, rhythm, accent, or the like, or, the course execution unit 14 of the providing end 1 determines the error of the voice evaluation reply message of the learning end 3 on the grammar, at this time, the course execution unit 14 of the providing end 1 will transmit the error condition data of the voice evaluation reply message to the database unit 12 for storage, wherein the type of the error condition data can be pronunciation or grammar, and the pronunciation type further includes the wrong syllable, phonetic symbol and position in the sentence, or grammar types comprise grammar errors of native language interference, part of speech usage errors … and the like, and the frequency or probability of making errors of all learners in each type is counted.
As described above, when the editor edits the teaching scenario using the teaching editing unit 10, the frequency or probability of mistakes made by the types of mistakes in the foreign language learning can be used as a determination condition in the scenario change condition. When the learner meets the preset error frequency threshold or probability threshold at a certain type of error frequency or probability, and the condition is reached, the basic teaching scenario corresponding to the relevant error to be continued to review or practice is set by using the conditional branch instruction, the loop instruction, the random variable … and the like, wherein the error frequency or probability meets the error frequency threshold or probability threshold, which means that the error frequency or probability is higher than, lower than or equal to the error frequency threshold or probability threshold. Thus, the learning terminal 3 can call the frequency or probability of each type of mistake made by the learner from the database unit 12 of the providing terminal 1 according to the instruction of the teaching script during the course of executing the digital teaching lesson, and then automatically call the basic teaching scenario about the type of mistake made from the providing terminal 1 and execute the basic teaching scenario if the frequency or probability is higher or lower than a certain value. So that the learner at the learning end 3 can be sufficiently exercised or learned to correct the error.
Accordingly, the providing terminal 1 provides the teaching editing unit 10 to the language teacher or the language teaching material designer to edit the digital teaching course, and the learning terminal 3 presents various basic teaching scenarios according to the teaching scenario in the digital teaching course during the execution of the digital teaching course, and especially continues to one of the basic teaching scenarios specified by the conditional branch instruction, the loop instruction and the random variable under the scenario change condition. Thus, the learner using the digital teaching lesson at the learning terminal 3 will feel the situation that the teacher teaches according to the learner's reaction as in the real teaching.
