Detailed Description
In the present embodiment, a method of verifying consumables and accessories of a printing apparatus is provided. Fig. 1 is a flowchart of a method of verifying consumables and accessories of a printing apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention. As shown in fig. 1, the process includes the following steps:
step S101, a user terminal acquires unique identification information of consumables or accessories;
in this embodiment, the unique identification information may be unique identification information inherent to the consumable or the accessory, for example, a factory lot number and a production serial number are used as the unique identification information, and a Media Access control address (MAC) address of the accessory may also be used as the unique identification information. The unique identification information may also be regenerated according to certain rules.
The unique identification information is distributed to each consumable or accessory, so that the unique identification of each consumable or accessory can be realized, and the service condition of each consumable or accessory can be traced conveniently. The form of the carrier of the unique identification information may vary, and in some embodiments the unique identification information is carried in a graphic label printed or affixed to the consumable or accessory, preferably in the form of a two-dimensional code, bar code or other scan-identifiable label. The graphic label has the advantages that the graphic label can be scanned through the user terminal to read the unique identification information, and the unique identification information can be conveniently acquired.
In other embodiments, the unique identification information is carried in an electronic tag, preferably a Radio Frequency (RF) electronic tag. RF electronic tags are small, low cost, do not require a power source, and are capable of storing data. The user terminal with the RF code scanning function can conveniently acquire the unique identification information.
In other embodiments, the unique identification information may be entered by the user in text form into the user terminal without using any scanning device, and the user terminal acquires the unique identification information of the consumable or accessory by receiving the text information entered by the user. This way of obtaining unique identification information has the advantage that it does not need to rely on any scanning device.
And step S102, the user terminal sends the unique identification information to the server.
In this embodiment, the user terminal sends the acquired unique identification information to the server through a wired network or a wireless network, so that the server verifies whether the unique identification information is valid.
In one embodiment, the server needs to verify whether the unique identification information meets a preset rule or whether the unique identification information is recorded in a database of the server on one hand, and also needs to verify whether the unique identification information is used on the other hand; when the unique identification information is verified to be not in accordance with the preset rule or the unique identification information is not recorded in the database of the server, the verification of whether the unique identification information is used can be carried out no longer.
In this embodiment, if the unique identification information is generated according to the preset rule, the server unnecessarily records the unique identification information into the database of the server, but may only verify whether the unique identification information conforms to the preset rule, and this verification method has the advantage that the unique identification information does not need to be recorded in the database, and the unique identification information can be generated in batch offline.
In this embodiment, if the unique identification information is recorded in the database of the server, each time new unique identification information is generated, the newly generated unique identification information needs to be recorded in the database, and therefore the unique identification information cannot be generated offline but must be generated online. And when the unique identification information is generated, a unified preset rule can be used, or a plurality of rules can be used, but the generated unique identification information is required to be kept as unique and unrepeated information in the system.
In some embodiments, it may be verified whether the unique identification information complies with a preset rule and whether the unique identification information is recorded in a database of the server at the same time.
The unique identification information can also carry information representing the type of the consumable or the accessory, or the information of the type of the consumable or the accessory corresponding to the unique identification information is also marked while the unique identification information is stored in a database of the server, so that the consumable or the accessory is managed and controlled by the information of the type of the consumable or the accessory in cooperation with the information of the type of the consumable or the accessory.
When the verification result is that the unique identification information accords with a preset rule or is recorded in a database of the server and the unique identification information is not used, the server sends the verification result with the valid unique identification information to the user terminal; otherwise, sending the verification result that the unique identification information is invalid to the user terminal.
Step S103, the user terminal receives the verification result of the server to the unique identification information.
And after the user terminal sends the unique identification information to the server, the user terminal waits for the response of the server and receives the verification result of the server on the unique identification information.
And step S104, under the condition that the verification result is that the unique identification information is valid, the user terminal sends the identification information of the printing equipment for replacing the consumable or the accessory to the server.
In this embodiment, when the verification result is that the unique identification information is invalid, the user terminal displays a notification that the unique identification information is invalid, so as to notify the user that the replacement of the consumable or the accessory cannot be performed. Prompt information can be added in the notification to inform a user of the risk or the consequence of hardware damage or contract default which may be caused by replacing consumable or accessory.
In this embodiment, in the case where the verification result is that the unique identification information is valid, the user terminal may send the identification information of the printing apparatus that replaced the consumable or the accessory to the server. In addition, prompt information can be displayed on the user terminal to prompt the user that the consumable or the accessory can be replaced, and the notice of replacing the consumable or the accessory is displayed for the user.
In some embodiments, in the case where the unique identification information is the unique identification information of the consumable part, the server may acquire the consumable part balance information of the printing apparatus after the user terminal transmits the identification information of the printing apparatus replacing the consumable part to the server in step S104; judging whether the consumable of the printing equipment is replaced or not according to the consumable allowance information; in the case where it is judged that the consumable part is replaced, the server marks the unique identification information as used. After the server marks the unique identification information as used, if the server continues to request authentication using the unique identification information next time, the server will give an authentication result that the unique identification information is invalid.
In one embodiment, after the server verifies that the unique identification information is valid, the server determines whether the consumable of the printing apparatus is replaced according to the consumable balance information includes: the server judges whether the allowance of the consumable items is increased or not according to the allowance information of the consumable items; under the condition that the allowance of the consumable part is increased, the server determines that the consumable part is replaced; in the case where it is judged that the remaining amount of the consumable part is not increased, the server determines that the consumable part is not replaced.
The consumable supply remaining amount of the printing apparatus should be gradually reduced in the case of normal use; therefore, when an increase in the consumable supply remaining amount of the consumable supply within the printing apparatus is detected, it can be considered that the consumable supply of the printing apparatus is replaced. Therefore, whether the consumable is replaced can be indirectly judged by judging whether the remaining amount of the consumable increases. Whether the consumable is replaced or not is judged in the mode. In order to avoid the condition that the consumable allowance slightly increases due to the detection of the consumable allowance twice, which is caused by the problem of the consumable allowance detection precision, a threshold value can be set for the increase of the consumable allowance, the increase of the consumable allowance exceeds the threshold value, the consumable of the printing equipment is considered to be replaced, otherwise, the consumable of the printing equipment is considered not to be replaced.
In some embodiments, in a case where the unique identification information is the unique identification information of the accessory, after the user terminal transmits the identification information of the printing apparatus of which the accessory is replaced to the server in step S104, the server acquires the printing apparatus failure information of the printing apparatus; the server judges whether the accessories of the printing equipment are replaced or not according to the fault information of the printing equipment; in the event that the accessory is determined to be replaced, the server marks the unique identification information as used. After the server marks the unique identification information as used, if the server continues to request authentication using the unique identification information next time, the server will give an authentication result that the unique identification information is invalid.
In one embodiment, after the server verifies that the unique identification information is valid, the server determines whether the accessory of the printing apparatus is replaced according to the printing apparatus failure information includes: the server inquires the corresponding accessory type according to the unique identification code; the server judges whether the fault of the accessory type is eliminated or not according to the fault information of the printing equipment; in a case where it is judged that the failure of the accessory type is eliminated, the server determines that the accessory is replaced; in the case where it is judged that the failure of the accessory type is not eliminated, the server determines that the accessory is not replaced.
The printing apparatus generally needs to be replaced in the case of a failure of a component, and the old component must be removed from the printing apparatus during the replacement of the component. Whether the component is out of order or the old component is taken out of the printing apparatus during the replacement process, the control chip of the printing apparatus generates the failure information, and therefore, whether the component is replaced can be indirectly judged by judging whether the control chip of the printing apparatus generates the failure generation related to the component and whether the failure is eliminated after the generation of the failure. Whether the accessory is replaced or not is judged in the mode.
In this embodiment, when the server acquires the consumable supply remaining amount information or the printing apparatus failure information of the printing apparatus, the consumable supply remaining amount information or the printing apparatus failure information may be acquired by the data acquisition device using a data reading protocol. The data acquisition device is connected with the printing equipment through an Ethernet interface, and reads consumable material allowance information or printing equipment fault information of the printing equipment through an interface transmission network protocol or a USB interface transmission private protocol; after collecting the relevant data of the printing equipment, the data collecting device transmits the data to the server through the internet or the mobile communication network.
Compared with the prior art, according to the embodiment of the invention, the user terminal is used for acquiring the unique identification information distributed to each consumable or accessory and sending the unique identification information to the server, and the server manages the consumable or accessory through the unique identification information, so that the problem that the replacement of the consumable or accessory of the printing equipment cannot be effectively controlled is solved, and the effective control of the replacement of the consumable or accessory of the printing equipment is realized.
In some embodiments, a printing apparatus control device may be further configured in the printing apparatus, and the printing apparatus control device may receive the lock instruction message; and after receiving the locking instruction message, triggering the printing equipment to generate a printing equipment fault of a preset fault type so as to stop the printing equipment.
In one embodiment, the printing device controlling means triggering the printing device to generate the printing device failure of the preset failure type includes: the printing apparatus control device interrupts a preset device from the printing apparatus to stop the printing apparatus, wherein the preset device, when being interrupted, is capable of causing the printing apparatus to generate a printing apparatus failure of a preset failure type.
The preset device of the embodiment includes a sensor or a core device of the printing apparatus, where the sensor includes but is not limited to at least one of the following of the printing apparatus: paper monitors, ink cartridge opening detectors, detectors of core accessories (e.g., heater assemblies, core boards, etc.), etc., including heater assemblies, core boards, etc., of printing devices. The printing apparatus control device is preferably connected to a signal line or a power supply line of the preset device using an electrically controlled switch to achieve connection or disconnection of the preset device to the printing apparatus. The predetermined fault type includes, but is not limited to, at least one of: the failure of insufficient consumable materials of the printing equipment, the failure of consumable material loss, the failure of paper jam of the printing equipment, the failure of insufficient paper of the printing equipment and the like. Taking the fault that the consumable material of the printing equipment is insufficient as an example, the printing equipment detects the residual ink amount through a sensor, sends a corresponding fault signal to a control chip of the printing equipment in order to protect a printing head when the ink amount is low, and after receiving the fault signal, the control chip controls the printing equipment to stop working until the ink box is replaced or the ink is added, the fault is eliminated, and the control chip controls the printing equipment to work again; after the printing equipment control device is disconnected from the sensor and the printing equipment, the sensor cannot send ink quantity signals to the control chip any more, and the control chip controls the printing equipment to stop working in order to protect the printing head, so that the locking control of the printing equipment is realized.
Through foretell printing apparatus controlling means, under the condition of the work of needs stop printing apparatus, adopt printing apparatus controlling means disconnection sensor and printing apparatus's connection to make printing apparatus stop work, solved the problem that can't realize printing apparatus's long-range locking machine among the correlation technique, realized the long-range locking machine to printing apparatus.
In one embodiment, the printing device controlling means triggering the printing device to generate the printing device failure of the preset failure type includes: the printing equipment control device generates a printing equipment fault signal with a preset fault type; and sending a printing equipment fault signal to the control chip so that the control chip stops the printing equipment according to the printing equipment fault signal, wherein the preset fault type refers to a fault type for stopping the printing equipment.
By the mode, under the condition that the printing equipment needs to stop working, the printing equipment control device is adopted to generate the printing equipment fault signal of the fault type which enables the printing equipment to stop working, and the printing equipment fault signal is sent to the control chip of the printing equipment, so that the problem that the remote locking of the printing equipment cannot be realized in the related technology is solved, and the remote locking of the printing equipment is realized.
Wherein the preset fault type includes but is not limited to at least one of the following: the failure of insufficient consumable materials of the printing equipment, the failure of consumable material loss, the failure of paper jam of the printing equipment, the failure of insufficient paper of the printing equipment and the like. Taking the fault that the consumable supplies of the printing equipment are insufficient as an example, the printing equipment detects or estimates the residual ink quantity of the ink box through the sensor, and sends a corresponding printing equipment fault signal to the control chip in order to protect the printing head when the ink quantity is low, the control chip controls the printing equipment to stop working until the fault is eliminated after the ink box is replaced or the ink is added, and the control chip controls the printing equipment to work again; therefore, the printing equipment control device sends a printing equipment fault signal with a preset fault type to the control chip, and the locking control of the printing equipment can be realized by simulating the preset fault type of the printing equipment.
Through the mode, the control over the printing equipment is realized, the printing equipment is protected temporarily, and the abnormal reduction of the service life of the printing equipment caused by the fact that the printing equipment is printed by using inferior paper is avoided.
In one embodiment, in order to avoid damage to the printing device due to the user using a poor consumable item or an accessory without quality authentication, the server may further obtain status information of the printing device, such as consumable item remaining amount information and printing device failure information, and determine whether the status of the printing device is abnormal according to the information; when the state of the printing device is judged to be abnormal, the server sends a locking instruction message to a printing device control device of the printing device so as to stop the printing device.
Whether the printing device status is abnormal or not includes, but is not limited to, any one or more of the following situations:
case 1: in the case where valid consumable item unique identification information is not obtained, the consumable item remaining amount of the printing apparatus abnormally increases.
In normal use situations, the consumable supply surplus of the printing device should be slowly reduced; if the server does not obtain the unique identification information of the consumable to verify the consumable when the consumable is replaced, and the consumable allowance of the printing equipment is increased, the printing equipment is considered to use the unauthenticated consumable to replace the old consumable, and in order to protect the printing equipment, the server controls the printing equipment control device to stop the operation of the printing equipment.
Case 2: in the case where valid accessory unique identification information is not obtained, the accessory of the printing apparatus is replaced.
Even if the failure of the printing apparatus due to the component is eliminated after the replacement of the component, if the component is not verified using the component unique identification information when the component is replaced, the printing apparatus is considered to replace the old component with the unauthorized component, and the server controls the printing apparatus control means to stop the operation of the printing apparatus at this time in order to protect the printing apparatus.
In addition, under the two situations, prompt information can be displayed on the user terminal to prompt the user of a method for correctly eliminating the fault.
The embodiment also provides a verification system of consumables and accessories of the printing equipment. Fig. 2 is a schematic structural diagram of a system for verifying consumables and accessories of a printing apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention, as shown in fig. 2, the system including: a printing device 21, a user terminal 22, and a server 23, wherein,
