Description

Brake mechanism of improved seat height adjusting device
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a seat height adjustment, and more particularly to a brake mechanism for an improved seat height adjustment device.
Background
The seat height adjusting device comprises a clutch mechanism and a brake mechanism which are coaxially arranged, and a control handle is connected with the clutch mechanism. The user drives the clutch mechanism through the control handle, the clutch mechanism is linked with the brake mechanism, and the output part in the brake mechanism drives the lifter in the chair such as an automobile seat, a massage chair or a wheelchair to control the lifting.
In the prior publication No. CN101553380B (referred to as "the first case", below), three pairs of six trapezoidal projections are disposed in the surrounding space between the inner edge of the ring body and the outer edge of the cam, and these projections can push each braking component (including two rolling bodies and an elastic pad) to unlock when rotating, and can also push the driven teeth protruding from the periphery of the cam to rotate the cam.
However, in the former case, six small trapezoid-like projections are disposed in the surrounding space, and a driven projection projecting from the outer edge of the cam is disposed between any two adjacent projections, so that the remaining surrounding space is small, and therefore, only three sets of braking components can be disposed, and only the elastic pad occupying a small space can be used, and the spring cannot be used.
In this way, although the overall structural strength of the prior art can be increased by increasing the number of brake components or by axially thickening the entire seat height adjusting device, the cost is also increased due to the disadvantages of increased size, increased weight, and difficulty in machining caused by the increased number of components or increased axial thickness.
In the prior application No. CN102529758B (referred to as "second case"), five triangular protrusions are used to push the brake-acting assembly to lock or unlock, and the five triangular protrusions are also used to indirectly drive the cam to rotate.
However, the triangular projection of the second prior art has a small area, and also has a component force problem due to the inclined surface pushing the rolling element, and even a plurality of driven wedges radially protruding from the outer edge of the cam are pushed by the rolling element, which causes durability and deterioration problems.
Thus, although the durability and deterioration problems of the second prior art can be alleviated by increasing the number of brake elements, the size and weight of the brake elements are increased, and the cost is correspondingly increased. Furthermore, the driven wedges radially protruding from the outer edge of the cam are located between the two rolling elements, which results in a reduction in the elastic support space between the two rolling elements and the necessity of using thinner springs, which reduces durability.
Disclosure of Invention
The invention aims to provide a brake mechanism of an improved seat height adjusting device, which is characterized in that a first convex key is used for pushing a second action component to be locked/unlocked, and a second convex key is used for driving an output component to rotate, so that the seat height adjusting device can be thinned and lightened under the same structural strength, and further the cost is reduced.
In order to achieve the above object, the present invention provides a brake mechanism of an improved seat height adjusting device, comprising: a ring body having an inner edge; the output part penetrates through the ring body and comprises a cam, and the cam is provided with an outer edge and a plurality of jacks; a plurality of action components which are arranged between the inner edge and the outer edge, and a spacing space is arranged between any two adjacent action components; and a driving disk, which is covered corresponding to the ring body and is convexly provided with a plurality of first convex keys and a plurality of second convex keys, wherein each first convex key is inserted corresponding to each interval space, and each second convex key is inserted corresponding to each jack.
The present invention also provides a brake mechanism of an improved seat height adjusting apparatus for use in coaxial arrangement with a clutch mechanism, the brake mechanism comprising: a ring body having an inner edge; the output part penetrates through the ring body and comprises a cam, and the cam is provided with an outer edge and a plurality of jacks; a plurality of action components which are arranged between the inner edge and the outer edge, and a spacing space is arranged between any two adjacent action components; and the driving disc is driven by the clutch mechanism, the driving disc is covered corresponding to the ring body and is convexly provided with a plurality of first convex keys and a plurality of second convex keys, each first convex key is inserted corresponding to each interval space, and each second convex key is inserted corresponding to each jack.

Detailed Description
The following detailed description and technical contents of the present invention are described with reference to the drawings, which are provided for reference and illustration purposes only and are not intended to limit the present invention.
As shown in fig. 1, the present invention provides a brake mechanism for an improved seat height adjusting device, which is mainly used for a height adjusting device of a chair such as an automobile seat, a massage chair or a wheelchair. The seat height adjusting apparatus includes a clutch mechanism 100 and a brake mechanism 400 coaxially arranged with each other. Wherein, clutching mechanism 100 includes: a housing 1, an input member 2 and a plurality of first active components 3; the brake mechanism 400 includes: a driving disk 4, a ring body 5, a plurality of second acting components 6 and an output part 7, and preferably further comprises a fixing frame 8.
In the clutch mechanism 100, the input part 2 and each first acting component 3 are accommodated in the outer concave portion of the driving disc 4, the outer cover 1 covers the concave portion of the driving disc 4, and a user controls the input part 2 to rotate by a control handle (not shown), so that the driving disc 4 is driven to rotate by the first acting component 3, in other words, the driving disc 4 is driven by the clutch mechanism 100. The seat height adjusting device is fixed to the chair, and the brake mechanism 400 is engaged with the lifting mechanism installed in the chair to drive the same. It should be noted that the drive plate 4 in the brake mechanism 400 has an outer recess portion shared by the clutch mechanism 100.
As shown in fig. 1 to 3 and 5 to 6, regarding the braking mechanism 400, the ring body 5 is hollow and has an inner edge 55. The output member 7 is rotatably disposed through the ring 5, the output member 7 includes a cam 71, the cam 71 has an outer edge 713 and a plurality of insertion holes 712, and at this time, as shown in fig. 4, the inner edge 55 and the outer edge 713 are spaced and opposite to each other to form a surrounding space (no reference numeral). Each second active component 6 is disposed in the surrounding space between the inner edge 55 and the outer edge 713, and a spacing space 63 is formed between any two adjacent second active components 6. The driving disk 4 covers and is provided with a plurality of first protruding keys 41 and a plurality of second protruding keys 42 corresponding to one surface of the ring body 5, each first protruding key 41 is inserted corresponding to each spacing space 63, and each second protruding key 42 is inserted corresponding to each insertion hole 712.
Therefore, the first convex key 41 can be used for pushing the second acting assembly 6 to be locked or unlocked, and the second convex key 42 can be used for driving the output part 7 to rotate.
The fixing frame 8 covers the other surface of the ring body 5 and is clamped on the ring body 5 and the periphery of the outer cover 1 so as to form a seat height adjusting device. The seat height adjusting device can be fixed on the chair by using the fixing frame 8, for example, the fixing frame 8 is fixed on the chair by the fixing component 9, so that the fixing frame 8, the ring body 5 clamped by the fixing frame 8 and the outer cover 1 can not rotate, and the driving ratchet (component symbol is not marked) of the output component 7 can be engaged with and driven by the lifting mechanism installed in the chair.
It should be noted that, as shown in fig. 1 and 4, the clearance (driving clearance) between the outer peripheral wall of the second convex key 42 and the inner peripheral wall of the insertion hole 712 is larger than the clearance (acting clearance) between the first convex key 41 and the second acting assembly 6, so as to generate a time difference, thereby achieving the effect of first unlocking and then driving rotation. Preferably, the driving disc 4 defines an axial direction D (see fig. 2), each of the first protrusions 41 surrounds each other, each of the second protrusions 42 surrounds each other, and each of the first protrusions 41 and each of the second protrusions 42 are coaxially disposed at the same position of the driving disc 4, in this embodiment, coaxially disposed on an inner disc surface 43 of the driving disc 4.
Further, the aforementioned cam 71 has a tread 711, and the tread 711 and the disk surface 43 of the drive disk 4 are adjacent to each other in a face-to-face manner (or abut). The wheel surface 711 is provided with the insertion hole 712, and the disk surface 43 is provided with the first key 41 and the second key 42 protruding toward the output member 7. In the embodiment, the second protruding key 42 is a cylinder protruding from the disk surface 43 along the axial direction D, and the insertion hole 712 is a cylindrical hole recessed from the wheel surface 711 along the axial direction D, so that the cylinder (the second protruding key 42) and the cylindrical hole (the insertion hole 712) are in face-to-face contact, thereby completely overcoming the conventional wear problem. The inner diameter of the cylindrical hole (the insertion hole 712) is larger than the outer diameter of the cylinder (the second convex key 42) to generate the above-mentioned driving clearance.
The second acting assembly 6 includes two rollers 61 and an elastic member 62, and the two rollers 61 are disposed at two opposite positions of the elastic member 62. Preferably, since the driving disc 4 of the present invention only uses the first protrusion key 41 to push the second acting assembly 6 to lock and unlock, and only uses the second protrusion key 42 to drive the output member 7 to rotate, the outer edge 713 of the cam 71 no longer needs to protrude the existing driven protrusion teeth or the existing driven wedge, so that the elastic supporting space of each second acting assembly 6 between the two rollers 61 is enlarged, and therefore the elastic member 62 with larger elasticity can be configured, in this embodiment, a thicker spring (straight spring) is configured, so as to have better durability (not easy to deteriorate, not easy to damage, and heat and oil resistant), and the two rollers 61 are configured at two ends of the spring. The action gap is between the first key 41 and the roller 61 (as shown in fig. 4, it is only a schematic view, and thus is not clearly shown).
In other embodiments not shown in the drawings, a plurality of convex keys may be protruded toward the driving disk 4 on the wheel surface 711 of the cam 71, and a plurality of insertion holes are correspondingly formed on the disk surface 43 of the driving disk 4, and each convex key is inserted into each insertion hole, so that the driving disk 4 can drive the output part 7 to rotate. The convex key protrudes from the wheel surface 711 along the axial direction D, and the insertion hole is recessed from the disk surface 43 along the axial direction D.
In summary, compared to the prior art, the present invention has the following effects: by using the first convex key 41 to push the second acting component 6 to lock/unlock, and using the second convex key 42 to drive the output component 7 to rotate, the outer edge 713 of the cam 71 does not need the existing driven convex teeth and driven wedge parts, thereby increasing the surrounding space between the inner edge 55 and the outer edge 713, and thus, not only can the second acting components 6 with proper quantity be configured to disperse the received force, but also the whole seat height adjusting device can be thinned under the same structural strength, and has the effect of light weight because of thinning, and finally has the effect of reducing the cost because of light weight and thinning.
In addition, the invention has other effects: since the outer peripheral wall of the second key 42 is in face-to-face contact with the inner peripheral wall of the insertion hole 712, and the rotation direction of the cam 71 is substantially perpendicular to the outer peripheral wall and the inner peripheral wall, there is no wear problem between the second key 42 and the insertion hole 712 of the cam 71. The outer edge 713 of the cam 71 eliminates the need for the conventional driven teeth and driven wedges, thereby increasing the elastic supporting space between the rollers 61 to allow the use of thicker springs and thus providing better durability.
It should be understood that the above description is only a preferred embodiment of the present invention, and not intended to limit the scope of the present invention, and all equivalent structural changes made by using the contents of the specification and drawings are included in the scope of the present invention.
