Description

Apparatus for transporting long welded rails
Technical Field
The present invention relates to an apparatus for transporting a long welded rail by a rail transport train, the apparatus comprising means for securely storing the rail.
Background
Various known rail transport trains are used to pick up or lay the rails of a track section in a train consist by means of a gantry crane. For this purpose, the gantry crane can be moved in the longitudinal direction of the rail by means of separate running gears mounted on the crane rails on both sides of the rail transport train. During transport, the rails must be securely stored and anchored to the rail transport train.
A corresponding rail transport train for transporting long welded rails is known from DE 202005019061U 1 and DE 202009006549U 1, wherein means for storing and anchoring the rails are arranged on the rail transport train.
Disclosure of Invention
The object of the invention is to show an improvement over the prior art for a device for transporting long welded rails of the type mentioned at the outset.
According to the invention, this object is achieved by an apparatus for transporting long welded rails according to claim 1. The dependent claims show advantageous embodiments of the invention.
The invention proposes that the device is designed as a modular unit with fastening means for anchoring on a container trolley and comprises a separate energy supply unit. Such modular units can be used flexibly, wherein a rail transport train can be assembled from a container trolley and one modular unit or several modular units. By means of the fastening means, the modular unit is simply and firmly anchored to the existing support points of the standard container. Thus, the operator can perfectly and economically adapt the entire rail transport train to the current conditions, wherein an already existing container flat car can be used.
Here, it is useful that the fastening means are arranged on the module frame and that the means for guiding and/or locking the rails are fastened to the module frame. The module frame provides a structurally simple solution for securely fastening the means for guiding and/or locking the rail.
In an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the energy supply unit comprises a hydraulic unit and the mechanism comprises a hydraulic drive. The hydraulic unit and the hydraulic driver ensure flexible adjustment of the structural space conditions, thereby achieving higher positioning accuracy.
In this case, the energy supply unit advantageously comprises an internal combustion engine and a storage tank. By means of the combustion engine and the storage tank, the modular units can be operated independently and energy can be made self-sufficient.
A further variant provides that the energy supply unit comprises an electric machine and an electrical energy store. By means of the electric machine (generator or motor) and the energy store, the modular unit can be operated in an emission-free manner as required.
In addition, it is advantageous to arrange the sleeve, which is designed to be pushed onto the container mandrel of the container flat car, as a fastening device. The modular unit is thereby fastened in a simple manner at the support points of the standard container.
Another further variant provides that the clamping device is arranged as a fastening device which is designed to be pushed onto a receptacle provided for the container mandrel on the container flat car. The clamping means may absorb a greater force than the container mandrel.
A further advantageous embodiment of the invention provides that the energy supply unit has a connection for energy supply of a further modular unit located on the container flat car. Thus, several modular units located on a container flat car can be operated by a common energy supply unit.
Advantageously, the mechanism comprises a pivoting beam. The pivot beam serves as a support bracket for the long welded rail. The pivot arm of the pivot beam can be pivoted for the loading and unloading procedure.
It is further advantageous that the means comprise a rail clamping unit. Thereby, the rails are firmly anchored to avoid any sliding during transport.
Another advantageous embodiment of the invention provides that the means comprise a rail block wall. The rail wall forms an additional safety mechanism for the rail transport train and prevents, for example, the rails from sliding in the direction of the cab during emergency braking.
Further, it is advantageous that the modular unit comprises a crane buffer for a gantry crane. Derailment of the gantry crane is reliably prevented by the crane buffers respectively arranged at the ends of the rail transport train.
In an improved embodiment of the invention, the modular unit has the dimensions and anchorage of a 20 foot container in horizontal projection. The modular unit is thereby secured to the support point of a 20 foot standard container.
Another variation proposes that the modular unit have the dimensions and anchorage of a 30 foot container in horizontal projection. The modular unit is thereby secured to the support point of a 30 foot standard container.

fig. 2 shows a schematic view of an energy supply unit;
FIG. 3 shows a schematic view of a modular unit with a pivoting beam;
FIG. 4 shows a schematic view of a modular unit with a pivot beam, a crane bumper and a rail retaining wall;
figure 5 shows a schematic view of a modular unit with a rail clamping unit;
figure 6 shows a schematic view of a container mandrel; and
fig. 7 shows a schematic view of a fastening device of the clamping device.
Detailed Description
Fig. 1 shows a view of a container flat car 2 which can be moved by a rail running gear 1, on which container flat car 2 a device 3 for transporting long welded rails is arranged. Several such container flats are coupled together to form a rail transport train. The devices for transporting long welded rails are each designed as a modular unit 3, the modular units 3 being anchored to the underframe 6 of the container flat car 2 by means of fastening means 5. The modular unit 3 comprises a module frame 7, preferably formed by steel beams, on which module frame 7 means 8 for guiding and/or locking the rails 4 are arranged. Furthermore, an energy supply unit 9 is associated with the modular unit 3. On either side of the container platform 2, laterally, crane rails 10 are mounted, so that the gantry crane can be moved in the longitudinal direction 11 of the rails. The crane rail 10 is fixedly arranged or laterally displaceable.
Fig. 2 shows a schematically depicted energy supply unit 9. The energy supply unit 9 is arranged in a space-saving manner within the module frame 7. The energy supply unit 9 comprises, for example, a hydraulic unit. An internal combustion engine with a storage tank, an electric machine with an electric energy store or a hybrid drive is arranged as a drive in the energy supply unit 9.
Fig. 3 shows a detailed view of the modular unit 3 with the pivoting beam 12 closed. The pivot beams 12 are arranged laterally on longitudinal beams 13 of the module frame 7. For loading and unloading operations, the pivot beam arms 15 are pivoted outwards about the vertical axis 16 via the pivot beam joints 14, respectively. Each modular unit 3 has lifting lugs 17 for loading the required modular unit 3 onto the container platform 2 by means of a crane.
In fig. 4, the modular unit 3 is equipped with a pivot beam 12, a crane bumper 18 and a rail block wall 19. All the mechanisms 8 are laterally fastened to the longitudinal beams 13 of the module frame 7. Like the pivot beam 12, the rail blocking wall 19 is designed to be pivotable about a vertical axis 16 for loading and unloading the rail 4 to a rail transport train. The rail block wall 19 and the pivot beam 12 each have a separate hydraulic drive 20, the hydraulic drives 20 being operated via the energy supply unit 9. The crane buffer 18 ensures the safe control of the gantry crane.
Fig. 5 shows a further variant of the modular unit 3 with a rail clamping unit 21. The rail clamping unit 21 is likewise fastened to the longitudinal beam 13 of the module frame 7 and comprises a support 22 to counteract large longitudinal forces during a braking or starting procedure. The fastening means 5 are arranged below the module frame 7. The rail clamping unit 21 also has a hydraulic drive 20.
Fig. 6 shows a variant of the support point 23 for a standard container. The folding container mandrel 24 is arranged in a receptacle (pfane) 25 on the underframe 26 of the container flat car 2. The fastening means 5 located in the module frame 7 comprise a sleeve 27 (fig. 3) and are pushed only onto the container mandrel 24 and then locked with a security latch.
Fig. 7 shows a variant of the embodiment of the fastening device 5, here it is shown that the module frame 7 is not connected to the fastening device 5. The fastening device 5 is designed in this case as a clamping device 28. Thereby, a large force can be transmitted. This is particularly advantageous for the modular unit 3 on which the rail clamping unit 21 is arranged. This is because a large inertial force of the rail 4 acts on the rail clamping unit 21 during the start and braking of the rail transport train. The tilting moment generated in the process must be absorbed by the fastening means 5. The clamping device 28 is mounted in place of the container mandrel 24. In addition, the clamping device 28 is secured against lateral sliding by the limitation of the receiving portion 25. Furthermore, the claws 29 grip the frame edge 30 of the container flat car 2, whereby tilting of the modular unit 3 is reliably avoided. For mounting the modular unit 3 on the container trolley 2, the jaws 29 are detachably arranged on the base member 31 of the clamping device 28. For this purpose, a threaded connection 32 is provided, for example.
