The invention discloses a porous solid aromatic bead for cigarettes and a preparation method thereof, wherein the porous solid aromatic bead for cigarettes comprises 90-95 parts by weight of powder, 0.3-5 parts by weight of pore-forming agent, 1-5 parts by weight of sweetening agent, 1-5 parts by weight of salty agent and 10-30 parts by weight of tobacco essence; the porous solid aromatic bead for the cigarettes, prepared by the invention, has the advantages of high safety of materials from food, simple preparation process, porous structure, high essence load, capability of improving the sensory quality and the user experience of the cigarettes and the like when being used for the cigarettes.
