一种碳化硅陶瓷球的制备方法,步骤:将碳化硅粉、碳化硼粉、一半的表面活性剂、烧结助剂、粘结剂经过喷雾造粒后得到碳化硅造粒粉;将上述碳化硅造粒粉与剩余的表面活性剂、高聚物粘结剂加热搅拌,混和并破碎,得到注射颗粒料;将注射颗粒料注射成型,所得的球形素坯经脱脂、烧结后,得到碳化硅陶瓷球。本发明采用陶瓷注射成型的方法进行,具有工艺简单、效率高、成本低的特点,制备的碳化硅陶瓷球的球形度高,后续磨削加工预料小,生产效率较高,可以较大程度节约生产加工成本,促进碳化硅陶瓷球的广泛应用。

技术领域
本发明涉及一种陶瓷球的制备方法,具体涉及一种碳化硅陶瓷球的制备方法。
背景技术
碳化硅(SiC)是一种具有高硬度、高强度、良好的化学稳定性等优点的先进结构陶瓷材料,以其独特的耐高温、耐氧化、耐腐蚀性能,在机械、化工、能源、航空航天以及军事防护领域拥有广泛的应用前景。基于上述优点,碳化硅陶瓷球作为防护、研磨、陶瓷轴承、球阀的关键零部件在高强度、高硬度、耐酸碱腐蚀、抗冲击等恶劣服役环境下具有广泛的应用前景。
碳化硅陶瓷球的生产一直未能实现批量化制备,主要源于以下两方面原因:首先是在规模化生产中,通常采用短圆柱形或类球形的模具进行素坯压制,经过常压或热压烧结后制备的碳化硅球坯必须经过大量的机械加工和研磨,才能获得球形度较好的产品。由于碳化硅陶瓷的硬度极高,加工非常困难(通常情况下必须采用金刚石的加工工具),效率较低,因此导致碳化硅球的制备成本过高。其次是即使经过这样的磨削加工,由于素坯的制备球形度很低,因此批量加工出的陶瓷球存在球形度误差较大,不能满足陶瓷轴承或球阀等精密零部件的使用要求,这与较大程度限制了碳化硅陶瓷球的广泛应用。因此,有必要找到一种新的碳化硅陶瓷球的制备方法,降低生产成本,实现批量化高质量制备,扩大碳化硅陶瓷球的应用。
发明内容
本发明所要解决的技术问题是提供一种工艺简单、效率高、成本低的碳化硅陶瓷球的制备方法,可以实现批量高质量制备、后续磨削加工余量小。
本发明解决上述技术问题所采用的技术方案为:一种碳化硅陶瓷球的制备方法,其特征在于包括以下步骤:
1)以碳化硅粉、碳化硼粉、表面活性剂、烧结助剂、粘结剂、高聚物粘结剂为原料,按比例配料称量,将碳化硅粉、碳化硼粉、一半的表面活性剂、烧结助剂、粘结剂经过喷雾造粒后得到碳化硅造粒粉;
2)将上述碳化硅造粒粉与剩余的表面活性剂、高聚物粘结剂加热搅拌,混和并破碎,得到注射颗粒料;
3)将注射颗粒料注射成型,所得的球形素坯经脱脂、烧结后,得到碳化硅陶瓷球。
作为优选,所述步骤1)的各原料的质量份数为:碳化硅粉85~100份,碳化硼粉1~7份,烧结助剂为5~10份,表面活性剂1~2.5份,粘结剂0.5~1份,高聚物粘结剂15~45份。
进一步,所述步骤1)的碳化硅粉D50≤1.1μm,最大粒径≤3μm,比表面积约为12m2/g;碳化硼粉D50≤1.0μm,比表面积约为10m2/g;烧结助剂为Y2O3与Al2O3粉的组合,Y2O3与Al2O3的质量比为1:1~3:5;表面活性剂为硬脂酸、聚乙二醇、聚丙烯酸铵或四甲基氢氧化铵中的一种或几种;粘结剂为羧甲基纤维素、水性酚醛树脂中的一种或两种。
进一步,所述高聚物粘结剂是由石蜡、高密度聚乙烯、聚丙烯、硬脂酸组合而成,石蜡、高密度聚乙烯、聚丙烯、硬脂酸的质量比为15:3:3:1~20:3:3:1。
进一步,所述步骤1)的具体过程为:以碳化硅粉、碳化硼粉为主要原料,加入去离子水和一半的表面活性剂,球磨混合2~5小时后,再加入烧结助剂和粘结剂,球墨混合10~20小时后,过500目筛,得到均匀浆料,固含量≥40%,以喷雾干燥机对所得浆料进行干燥,进风温度100℃~160℃,出风温度80℃~140℃,浆料流量5kg/h~80kg/h,喷雾造粒得到碳化硅造粒粉。
进一步,所述步骤2)的加热搅拌的加热温度为50℃~150℃,混合温度为50℃~150℃,破碎是指破碎至直径约为1mm(最大粒径≤1.5mm)的母粒。
进一步,所述步骤3)的注射成型工艺为:将注射颗粒料在加热温度为110℃~150℃,压力为50MPa~150MPa下注入含球形模腔的模具中,球形模腔的直径为2mm~20mm;注射成型模具上装备有热流道,注射完毕后,冷却得到球形素坯。
再进一步,所述步骤3)的脱脂包括先溶剂脱脂后热脱脂;溶剂脱脂采用的溶剂为汽油、煤油或正庚烷脱脂,脱脂时间为10~40小时,溶剂脱脂的温度为30℃~50℃;热脱脂在真空下(100mbar)进行,热脱脂温度为400℃~800℃,脱脂时间为30~60小时。
最后,所述步骤3)的烧结在惰性气氛下常压真空烧结,烧结温度为2100℃~2200℃,保温100~150min,随炉冷却。
与现有技术相比,本发明的优点在于:采用陶瓷注射成型的方法制备碳化硅陶瓷球,由于注射成型本身就是一种近净尺寸成型技术,将其应用到碳化硅球体的制备中,能够实现快速、精密的碳化硅陶瓷球体生产,后续加工很少,成本低,可实现批量生产,具有工艺简单、效率高、成本低的特点,制备的碳化硅陶瓷球坯体球形度好,后续磨削加工少,生产效率较高,可以较大程度节约生产加工成本,促进碳化硅陶瓷球的广泛应用。

以下结合实施例对本发明作进一步详细描述。
实施例1:
一种碳化硅陶瓷球的制备方法,包括以下步骤:
(1)按质量份计,称量如下原料:
碳化硅粉:90份
碳化硼粉:3份
烧结助剂:7份
表面活性剂:2份(平均分成两份使用)
粘结剂:0.8份
高聚物粘结剂:30份其中,碳化硅粉D50≤1.1μm,最大粒径≤3μm,,比表面积约为12m2/g;
碳化硼粉D50≤1.0μm,比表面积约为10m2/g;
烧结助剂为Y2O3与Al2O3粉的组合,质量百分比为3:4;
表面活性剂为硬脂酸;
粘结剂为水性酚醛树脂;
高聚物粘结剂为石蜡、高密度聚乙烯、聚丙烯、硬脂酸的组合物,质量比为18:3:3:1。石蜡的分子量小,软化温度点低,流动性好,与粉末有着良好的润湿性,因此,选择其作为粘结剂体系的基本组分。硬脂酸是一种陶瓷粉体良好的分散剂,分子的一端是带有羧基的极性端,另一端为油溶性的烃基,保证混料均匀,通常在工艺中表现出很好的成型性能。高密度聚乙烯的分子量较高,一般为40000—300000,熔点高,成型工艺好,与注塑类聚丙烯树脂配合使用,一方面可以作为骨架维持坯体形状,另一方面还可获得较好的弹性模量和较低的热膨胀系数。
(2)将碳化硅粉、碳化硼粉为主要原料,加入去离子水,表面活性剂(本次加入量为总质量的50%),球磨混合4小时后,再加入烧结助剂和粘结剂,球磨混合15小时后,过500目筛,得到均匀浆料,固含量55%;以喷雾干燥机对所得浆料进行干燥,进风温度130℃,出风温度100℃,浆料流量20kg/h。喷雾造粒得到碳化硅造粒粉。
(3)将步骤(2)制备所得的碳化硅造粒粉,剩余的表面活性剂、高聚物粘结剂加热搅拌均匀,加热温度80℃,进行混炼喂料,混和温度120℃,经冷却破碎至直径约为1mm(最大粒径≤1.5mm),得到注射颗粒料;
(4)将注射颗粒料在注射成型机上成型:将注射颗粒料在130℃、80MPa压力下注入含球形模腔的模具中,球形模腔的直径为10mm,注射成型模具上装备有热流道,注射完毕后,冷却得到球形素坯。将球形素坯置于煤油中进行溶剂脱脂,脱脂时间为30小时,脱脂的温度为40℃;溶剂脱脂后的素坯在真空炉(100mbar)中进行热脱脂,热脱脂温度为500℃,脱脂时间为50小时。热脱脂后的碳化硅陶瓷球在惰性气氛下常压真空烧结,烧结温度为2200℃,保温120min,随炉冷却。
本发明实施例的碳化硅陶瓷球坯体球形度好,后续磨削加工少,生产效率较高,可以较大程度节约生产加工成本,促进碳化硅陶瓷球的广泛应用。
实施例2:
一种本发明的碳化硅陶瓷球的制备方法,包括以下步骤:
(1)按质量份计,称量如下原料:
碳化硅粉:100份
碳化硼粉:7份
烧结助剂:10份
表面活性剂:2份(平均分成两份使用)
粘结剂:1份
高聚物粘结剂:45份
其中,碳化硅粉D50≤1.1μm,最大粒径≤3μm,,比表面积约为12m2/g;所述碳化硼粉D50≤1.0μm,比表面积约为10m2/g;烧结助剂为Y2O3与Al2O3粉的组合,质量百分比为3:5;表面活性剂为聚乙二醇和硬脂酸组合;粘结剂为水性酚醛树脂;高聚物粘结剂为石蜡、高密度聚乙烯、聚丙烯、硬脂酸的组合物,质量比为20:3:3:1。

(3)将步骤(2)制备所得的碳化硅造粒粉,剩余的表面活性剂和高聚物粘结剂加热搅拌均匀,加热温度150℃,进行混炼喂料,混和温度140℃,经冷却破碎至直径约为1mm(最大粒径≤1.5mm),得到注射颗粒料。
(4)将注射颗粒料在注射成型机上成型:将注射颗粒料在150℃、150MPa压力下注入含球形模腔的模具中,球形模腔的直径为20mm,注射成型模具上装备有热流道,注射完毕后,冷却得到球形素坯;将球形素坯置于正庚烷中进行溶剂脱脂,脱脂时间为40小时,脱脂的温度为50℃;溶剂脱脂后的素坯在真空炉(100mbar)中进行热脱脂,热脱脂温度为800℃,脱脂时间为60小时;热脱脂后的碳化硅陶瓷球在惰性气氛下常压真空烧结,烧结温度为2100℃保温150min,随炉冷却。
本实施例制备的碳化硅陶瓷球坯体球形度好,后续磨削加工少,生产效率较高,可以较大程度节约生产加工成本,促进碳化硅陶瓷球的广泛应用。

其中,碳化硅粉D50≤1.1μm,最大粒径≤3μm,,比表面积约为12m2/g;所述碳化硼粉D50≤1.0μm,比表面积约为10m2/g;烧结助剂为Y2O3与Al2O3粉的组合,质量百分比为1:1;表面活性剂为硬脂酸;粘结剂为羧甲基纤维素;高聚物粘结剂为石蜡、高密度聚乙烯、聚丙烯、硬脂酸的组合,质量百分比为15:3:3:1。
高聚物粘结剂为石蜡、高密度聚乙烯、聚丙烯、硬脂酸的组合物,质量比为15:3:3:1。石蜡的分子量小,软化温度点低,流动性好,与粉末有着良好的润湿性,因此,选择其作为粘结剂体系的基本组分。硬脂酸是一种陶瓷粉体良好的分散剂,分子的一端是带有羧基的极性端,另一端为油溶性的烃基,保证混料均匀,通常在工艺中表现出很好的成型性能。高密度聚乙烯的分子量较高,一般为40000—300000,熔点高,成型工艺好,与注塑类聚丙烯树脂配合使用,一方面可以作为骨架维持坯体形状,另一方面还可获得较好的弹性模量和较低的热膨胀系数。
(2)将碳化硅粉、碳化硼粉为主要原料,加入去离子水,表面活性剂(本次加入量为总质量的50%),球磨混合2小时后,再加入烧结助剂和粘结剂,球磨混合10小时后,过500目筛,得到均匀浆料,固含量55%。以喷雾干燥机对所得浆料进行干燥,进风温度100℃,出风温度80℃,浆料流量20kg/h。喷雾造粒得到碳化硅造粒粉。
(3)将步骤(2)制备所得的碳化硅造粒粉,剩余的表面活性剂和高聚物粘结剂加热搅拌均匀,加热温度50℃,进行混炼喂料,混和温度60℃,经冷却破碎至直径约为1mm(最大粒径≤1.5mm),得到注射颗粒料。
(4)将注射颗粒料在注射成型机上成型:将注射颗粒料在110℃、50MPa压力下注入含球形模腔的模具中,球形模腔的直径为4mm,注射成型模具上装备有热流道,注射完毕后,冷却得到球形素坯;将球形素坯置于煤油中进行溶剂脱脂,脱脂时间为15小时,脱脂的温度为30℃;溶剂脱脂后的素坯在真空炉(100mbar)中进行热脱脂,热脱脂温度为400℃,脱脂时间为30小时;热脱脂后的碳化硅陶瓷球在惰性气氛下常压真空烧结,烧结温度为2100℃,保温100min,随炉冷却。
本实施例制备的碳化会陶瓷球坯体球形度好,后续磨削加工少,生产效率较高,可以较大程度节约生产加工成本,促进碳化硅陶瓷球的广泛应用。
陶瓷粉末注射成形(Ceramic Injection Molding,简称CIM)是一种净近成形技术,若注射成型模具的设计制造适当且使用性能合格的粉末材料,均匀收缩可以获得较高的尺寸精度,尺寸精度可以保持在0.3%以内。而且粉末材料的利用率高,可大量生产形状非常复杂的高密度、高精度零件。

Claims (7)

1.一种碳化硅陶瓷球的制备方法,其特征在于包括以下步骤:
1)以碳化硅粉、碳化硼粉、表面活性剂、烧结助剂、粘结剂、高聚物粘结剂为原料,按比例配料称量,将碳化硅粉、碳化硼粉、一半的表面活性剂、烧结助剂、粘结剂经过喷雾造粒后得到碳化硅造粒粉;
2)将上述碳化硅造粒粉与剩余的表面活性剂、高聚物粘结剂加热搅拌,混和并破碎,得到注射颗粒料;
3)将注射颗粒料注射成型,所得的球形素坯经脱脂、烧结后,得到碳化硅陶瓷球;
所述步骤1)的各原料的质量份数为:碳化硅粉85~100份,碳化硼粉1~7份,烧结助剂为5~10份,表面活性剂1~2.5份,粘结剂0.5~1份,高聚物粘结剂15~45份;
所述高聚物粘结剂是由石蜡、高密度聚乙烯、聚丙烯、硬脂酸组成,石蜡、高密度聚乙烯、聚丙烯、硬脂酸组合物的质量比为15:3:3:1~20:3:3:1。
2.根据权利要求1所述的制备方法,其特征在于:所述步骤1)的碳化硅粉D50≤1.1μm,最大粒径≤3μm,比表面积为11~13m2/g;碳化硼粉D50≤1.0μm,比表面积为9~11m2/g;烧结助剂为Y2O3与Al2O3粉的组合,Y2O3与Al2O3的质量比为1:1~3:5;表面活性剂为硬脂酸、聚乙二醇、聚丙烯酸铵或四甲基氢氧化铵中的一种或几种;粘结剂为羧甲基纤维素、水性酚醛树脂中的一种或两种。
3.根据权利要求1所述的制备方法,其特征在于:所述步骤1)的具体过程为:以碳化硅粉、碳化硼粉为主要原料,加入去离子水和一半的表面活性剂,球磨混合2~5小时后,再加入烧结助剂和粘结剂,球墨混合10~20小时后,过500目筛,得到均匀浆料,固含量≥40%,以喷雾干燥机对所得浆料进行干燥,进风温度100℃~160℃,出风温度80℃~140℃,浆料流量5 kg/h~80kg/h,喷雾造粒得到碳化硅造粒粉。
4.根据权利要求1所述的制备方法,其特征在于:所述步骤2)的加热搅拌的加热温度为50℃~150℃,混合温度为50℃~150℃,破碎是指破碎至直径为1mm的母粒,其最大粒径≤1.5mm。
5.根据权利要求1所述的制备方法,其特征在于:所述步骤3)的注射成型工艺为:将注射颗粒料在加热温度为110℃~150℃,压力为50MPa~150 MPa下注入含球形模腔的模具中,球形模腔的直径为2mm~20mm;注射成型模具上装备有热流道,注射完毕后,冷却得到球形素坯。
6.根据权利要求1所述的制备方法,其特征在于:所述步骤3)的脱脂包括先溶剂脱脂后热脱脂;溶剂脱脂采用的溶剂为汽油、煤油或正庚烷脱脂,脱脂时间为10~40小时,溶剂脱脂的温度为30℃~50℃;热脱脂在真空下进行,热脱脂温度为400℃~800℃,脱脂时间为30~60小时。
7.根据权利要求1所述的制备方法,其特征在于:所述步骤3)的烧结在惰性气氛下常压真空烧结,烧结温度为2100℃~2200℃,保温100~150min,随炉冷却。
