在本发明的一个实施方案中,根据本发明的包装材料(即待用于包装的最终产品)的氧气透过率(OTR)小于5cc/m2*天,优选小于3cc/m2*天或小于1.5cc/m2*天,所述氧气透过率(OTR)在标准条件下(50%RH,23℃)测量。可使用本领域已知的方法测定OTR。
根据本发明的包装材料可通过卷对卷(reel to reel)或卷对片(reel to sheet)或单张(sheet fed)印刷方法而进行印刷,但也可用其他技术进行离线表面处理,例如柔性凹版印刷、轮转凹版印刷、反向轮转凹版印刷、丝网印刷、喷墨印刷、胶版印刷(平版印刷)、喷涂、幕涂、发泡(泡沫)或其他印刷或表面处理技术。
取决于所使用的铝的量,根据本发明的包装材料可为可生物降解的和/或可堆肥的。在这种情况下,可堆肥性根据ISO 18606定义,即整个材料中以小于1%的浓度存在的成分不需要展示生物降解能力。然而,这些成分的总和不应超过5%。生物降解能力定义如下:应对于整个材料或对于材料中以大于1%(以干质量计)的浓度存在的每种有机成分来确定最终的好氧生物降解能力。以1%至10%的水平存在的成分应单独测试。
具体实施方式
根据本发明使用的微原纤化纤维素可使用本领域已知的方法制备。
在本发明的一个实施方案中,在造纸机中或根据湿铺生产方法,通过将悬浮体提供到丝网上并且使幅材脱水形成中间薄基材或所述膜形成MFC层。提供包含微原纤化纤维素的悬浮体以形成所述膜。
在本发明的一个实施方案中,根据本发明使用的MFC层可根据本领域中描述的任何已知方法制备,例如湿铺法、印刷法、挤出法、层压法等。
在本专利申请的上下文中,微原纤化纤维素(MFC)意指至少一个维度小于100nm的纳米尺度的纤维素颗粒纤维或原纤维。MFC包括部分或完全原纤化的纤维素或木质纤维素纤维。释放的原纤维的直径小于100nm,而实际的原纤维直径或粒度分布和/或纵横比(长度/宽度)取决于来源和制造方法。
最小的原纤维被称为基础原纤维(初级原纤维)并且直径约为2-4nm(参见例如Chinga-Carrasco,G.,Cellulose fibres,nanofibrils and microfibrils,:Themorphological sequence of MFC components from a plant physiology and fibretechnology point of view,Nanoscale research letters 2011,6:417),而常见的是聚集形式的基础原纤维(其也被定义为微原纤维)(Fengel,D.,Ultrastructural behaviorof cell wall polysaccharides,Tappi J.,March 1970,Vol 53,No.3.)是在制造MFC(例如通过使用延长的精磨过程或压降分解过程)时获得的主要产品。取决于来源和制造方法,原纤维的长度可在约1至大于10微米变化。粗MFC级可含有相当大部分的原纤化纤维,即来自管胞(纤维素纤维)的突出原纤维,以及一定量的从管胞(纤维素纤维)释放的原纤维。
MFC有不同的首字母缩略词,例如纤维素微原纤维、原纤化纤维素、纳米原纤化纤维素、原纤维聚集体、纳米级纤维素原纤维、纤维素纳米纤维、纤维素纳米原纤维、纤维素微纤维、纤维素原纤维、微原纤状纤维素、微原纤维聚集体和纤维素微原纤维聚集体。MFC的特征还可在于各种物理或物理化学性质,例如大的表面积或其在分散在水中时在低固体(1-5重量%)下形成凝胶状材料的能力。纤维素纤维优选原纤化至这样的程度,即,当用BET方法对冷冻干燥的材料进行测定时,使得所形成的MFC的最终比表面积为约1至约300m2/g,例如1至200m2/g或更优选50-200m2/g。
存在制造MFC的各种方法,例如单次或多次精磨,预水解然后是精磨或高剪切分解或原纤维的释放。通常需要一个或若干个预处理步骤,以使MFC制造既节能又可持续。因此,待供应的纸浆的纤维素纤维可进行酶法或化学预处理,例如以降低半纤维素或木质素的量。纤维素纤维可在原纤化之前进行化学改性,其中纤维素分子含有除了在原始纤维素中所发现的之外(或更多)的官能团。这些基团尤其包括羧甲基(CM)、醛和/或羧基(通过N-氧基介导的氧化获得的纤维素,例如“TEMPO”)或季铵(阳离子纤维素)。在以上述方法之一中进行改性或氧化后,更容易将纤维分解成MFC或纳米原纤状尺寸原纤维。
纳米原纤状纤维素可含有一些半纤维素;量取决于植物来源。经预处理的纤维例如水解的、预溶胀的或氧化的纤维素原料的机械分解用合适的设备进行,例如精磨机,研磨机,均化器,胶体排出装置(colloider),摩擦研磨机,超声波超声仪,流化器如微流化器、宏观流化器或流化剂型均化器。取决于MFC制造方法,产品还可含有细粒或纳米结晶纤维素或例如存在于木质纤维或造纸过程中的其他化学品。该产品还可含有各种量的未被有效地原纤化的微米尺寸的纤维颗粒。
MFC由木质纤维素纤维制备,包括硬木或软木纤维两者。其还可由微生物来源、农业纤维如麦草浆、竹子、甘蔗渣或其他非木质纤维来源制成。其优选由纸浆制成,所述纸浆包括来自原始纤维的纸浆,例如,机械、化学和/或热机械纸浆。其还可由损纸或再生纸制成。
MFC的上述定义包括但不限于对纤维素纳米原纤维(CNF)新提出的TAPPI标准W13021,其定义了含有具有结晶和无定形区域两者的多种基础原纤维的纤维素纳米纤维材料。
根据另一个实施方案,悬浮体可包含不同类型纤维的混合物,例如微原纤化纤维素和一定量的其他类型的纤维,例如硫酸盐浆纤维、细粒、增强纤维、合成纤维、溶解浆、TMP或CTMP、PGW等。
悬浮体还可包含其他工艺或功能添加剂,例如填料,颜料,湿强化学品,干强化学品,助留化学品,交联剂,软化剂或增塑剂,粘合底漆,润湿剂,杀生物剂,光学染料,荧光增白剂,消泡化学品,疏水化化学品例如AKD,ASA,蜡,树脂等。添加剂也可使用施胶压榨机添加。
存在着几种制备MFC的膜的方法,包括丝网成形和流延成形。在丝网成形中,使包含微原纤化纤维素的悬浮体在多孔表面上脱水以形成纤维幅材。合适的多孔表面是例如造纸机中的丝网。然后将纤维幅材在造纸机的干燥段中干燥以形成MFC膜,其中膜具有第一侧和第二侧。可在根据本发明的方法中使用的造纸机可为本领域技术人员已知的用于生产纸、纸板、薄纸或类似产品的任何类型的机器,或者例如改进或非常规的造纸机。
将配料放置到丝网上,然后形成幅材,其可被脱水形成中间薄基材或膜。
在流延成形中,将包含MFC的悬浮体施加到具有无孔表面的支撑介质上。无孔表面为例如塑料或金属带,悬浮体在其上均匀铺展并且在干燥期间MFC膜在其上形成。然后将MFC膜从支撑介质上剥离,以形成独立的膜,其中膜具有第一侧和第二侧。
根据本发明,MFC层和/或铝层用热塑性聚合物进行层压或挤出涂覆或分散涂覆。热塑性膜的玻璃化转变温度(Tg)通常为70℃至200℃。在本发明的一个实施方案中,热塑性聚合物选自聚乙烯(PE)、聚丙烯(PP)、高密度聚乙烯(HDPE)、低密度聚乙烯(LDPE)、线性低密度聚乙烯(LLDPE)、聚乳酸(PLA)、聚乙交酯(PGA)、乙烯乙酸乙烯酯(EVA)、乙烯乙烯醇(EVOH)、聚酰胺(PA)、离聚物(例如Surlyn)或其组合。热塑性膜通常以至少5g/m2、例如至少15g/m2、例如至少20g/m2或至少30g/m2存在。
在本发明的一个实施方案中,MFC层用热塑性聚合物进行层压。层压可使用本领域已知的方法进行。
根据本发明的铝层中的铝的量使得足以使包装材料为可使用感应而热密封。热密封可使用本领域已知的方法和设备进行。
包括根据本发明的包装材料的最终液体包装板可包括若干层。在一个实施方案中,产品具有以下结构:PE/板/MFC/Al/PE,即层如下:聚乙烯(PE)层,常规板材料的层,微原纤化纤维素MFC的层,铝层,其中铝的量足以使产品可通过感应而热密封,以及PE层。在一个实施方案中,产品具有以下结构:PE/板/Al/MFC/PE,即层如下:聚乙烯(PE)层,常规板材料的层,铝层,微原纤化纤维素MFC的层,以及PE层。在一个实施方案中,产品具有以下结构:PE/板/PE/MFC/Al/PE,即层如下:聚乙烯(PE)层,常规板材料的层,聚乙烯(PE)层,微原纤化纤维素MFC的层,铝层,以及PE层。本领域技术人员会认识到其他结构也是可能的。如上所述的结构体的克重通常在180-500g/m2的范围内。
鉴于以上对本发明的详细描述,对于本领域技术人员而言,其他修改和变化将变得显而易见。然而,应该显而易见的是,在不脱离本发明的精神和范围的情况下,可实现这样的其他修改和变化。

Claims (7)

1.包装材料,其包括包含至少60重量%的微原纤化纤维素的层和厚度为0.1-20μm的铝层,其中包含微原纤化纤维素的层和/或铝层用热塑性聚合物进行层压或挤出涂覆并且其中铝的量足以使包装材料可通过感应而热密封。
2.根据权利要求1所述的材料,其中所述包含微原纤化纤维素的层已经用热塑性聚合物进行层压。
3.根据权利要求2所述的材料,其中所述热塑性聚合物是聚乙烯。
4.根据权利要求1所述的材料,其中所述包含微原纤化纤维素的层已经用热塑性聚合物进行挤出涂覆。
5.根据权利要求4所述的材料,其中所述热塑性聚合物是聚乙烯。
6.根据权利要求1-5中任一项所述的材料,其中铝的量的范围为1g至30g,以每m2成品包装材料计,例如3g至10g,以每m2成品包装材料计。
7.制造根据权利要求1-6中任一项所述的包装材料的方法,包括以下步骤:
a)制备微原纤化纤维素的层;
b)提供厚度为0.1-20μm的铝层,其包含足以使材料可通过感应而热密封的量的铝;
c)将步骤a)和b)的层结合;
d)在所述层的至少一侧上用热塑性聚合物对步骤a)或b)的层进行层压或挤出涂覆。
