Disclosure of Invention
The object of the present invention is to provide a laundry care appliance which ensures an advantageous delivery of laundry care substances.
This object is achieved by the subject matter having the features according to the independent claims. Advantageous embodiments are the subject matter of the dependent claims, the description and the figures.
According to a first aspect, the object is achieved according to the invention by a laundry care appliance having a lye container for receiving washing liquor, a water feed device for feeding water into the lye container, a substance feed device for feeding laundry care substance into the lye container, and a control device for controlling the water feed device and the substance feed device, wherein the control device is designed to activate the water feed device during a dosing period in order to feed a quantity of water into the lye container, wherein the control device is designed to determine the quantity of laundry care substance depending on the quantity of water fed during the dosing period, wherein the control device is designed to activate the substance feed device during the dosing period in order to feed the determined quantity of laundry care substance into the lye container.
The technical advantage achieved thereby is that both the quantity of water and the corresponding specific quantity of laundry care substance required for achieving effective laundry care are delivered to the lye container during the dosing period. The conveyed laundry care substance is dissolved in the conveyed water and forms the washing liquid required for the laundry care, which is received in the lye container.
In conventional laundry care appliances, the laundry care substance is fed to the lye container over a long period of time during a plurality of different, temporally successive dosing steps. This prolongs the duration of the laundry care program and does not always ensure a precisely metered introduction of the laundry care substance into the lye container.
In the laundry care appliance according to the disclosure, water and the laundry care substance are delivered during a single dosing period. As soon as water is supplied to the lye container by the water supply device, the control device determines the respective laundry care substance, which is also supplied to the lye container during the dosing period, as a function of the quantity supplied.
This ensures that the water and the laundry care substance are fed into the lye container in time agreement with one another during the dosing period. The dosing in connection with the water supply enables the laundry care substance to be rapidly supplied together with the water, whereby the duration of the laundry care program can be shortened. Furthermore, the required laundry care substance or the required water consumption can be set as desired in order to achieve a particularly effective and optimized dosing of the laundry care substance.
By laundry care appliance is understood an appliance for laundry care, for example a washing machine or a laundry dryer. In particular, the laundry care appliance is understood to be a household laundry care appliance. In other words, laundry care appliances are used in domestic services and with the aid of which household-normal laundry is treated.
In an advantageous embodiment of the laundry care appliance, the control device is designed to activate the substance delivery device and the water delivery device simultaneously in order to deliver the laundry care substance and the water simultaneously to the lye container during the dosing time period, or the control device is designed to activate the substance delivery device and the water delivery device time-staggered in order to deliver the water and the laundry care substance to the lye container time-staggered during the dosing time period.
The technical advantage achieved thereby is that a particularly efficient supply of water and washing liquid to the lye container is ensured. When water and the laundry care substance are simultaneously supplied to the lye container, a particularly rapid dosing of the laundry care substance can be ensured. Alternatively, the control device can activate the substance supply device and the water supply device at intervals during the dosing time, either by first supplying water to the lye container and then supplying the laundry care substance to the lye container with a time offset, or by first supplying the laundry care substance to the lye container and then supplying the water to the lye container with a time offset. The control device can activate the substance delivery device and the water delivery device in such a time-staggered manner that the delivery of the laundry care substance is directly connected to the water delivery, or the delivery of water is directly connected to the laundry care substance delivery. This ensures a particularly rapid delivery of water and laundry care substances.
In a further advantageous embodiment of the laundry care appliance, the water supply device and the washing liquid supply device are fluidically connected to the lye container by means of a supply line, wherein the supply line in particular comprises a supply valve, wherein the supply valve is designed to disconnect the supply line in a first valve position and to connect the supply line in a second valve position, wherein the control device is designed to determine the laundry care substance quantity when the supply valve is switched into the first valve position or into the second valve position.
The technical advantage achieved thereby is that water and laundry care substance can be effectively conveyed to the lye container by means of the common conveying line. Furthermore, the determination of the laundry care quantity is temporally linked to the actuation of the delivery valve, wherein a particularly rapid delivery of the determined laundry care quantity into the lye container is ensured. The laundry care substance quantity can be determined by the control device either when the delivery valve is switched into the first valve position, i.e. when the delivery valve is closed, or when the delivery valve is switched into the second valve position, i.e. when the delivery valve is opened.
In a further advantageous embodiment of the laundry care appliance, the water supply device is fluidically connected to the lye container via a water supply line and the substance supply device is fluidically connected to the lye container via a substance supply line, wherein the water supply line comprises in particular a supply valve, wherein the supply valve is designed to disconnect the supply line in a first valve position and to connect the supply line in a second valve position, wherein the control device is designed to determine the laundry care substance quantity when the supply valve is switched into the first valve position or into the second valve position.
The technical advantage achieved thereby is that water and the laundry care substance can be supplied to the lye container independently of one another by separate supply of water by the water supply line and supply of the laundry care substance by the substance supply line. The determination of the laundry care quantity is thereby temporally linked to the actuation of the delivery valve in the water delivery line, which ensures a particularly rapid delivery of the determined laundry care quantity into the lye container. In this case, the laundry care substance quantity can be determined either when the delivery valve is switched into the first valve position, i.e. when the delivery valve is closed, or when the delivery valve is switched into the second valve position, i.e. when the delivery valve is opened.
In a further advantageous embodiment of the laundry care appliance, the water feed device is designed to feed water to the lye container at a water flow rate, and the control device is designed to determine the laundry care substance quantity as a function of the water flow rate.
The technical advantage achieved thereby is that the control device can determine the laundry care substance quantity particularly accurately and rapidly, taking into account the water flow rate. The water flow rate is in particular dependent on the geometry of the water supply and/or the supply line used. The water flow rate can have a structurally dependent constant value which is supplied to the control device in order to make an effective determination of the laundry care substance quantity. The water flow rate as a constant value can be stored in the control device or determined by the control device during calibration of the laundry care appliance, for example. The laundry care substance quantity can thus be determined easily and advantageously based on the water flow rate in relation to the quantity of water delivered.
In a further advantageous embodiment of the laundry care appliance, the control device is designed to determine a dosing rate of the delivered laundry care substance as a function of the quantity of water delivered during a dosing period, and to deliver the determined amount of the laundry care substance to the lye container during the dosing period at the dosing rate.
The technical advantage achieved thereby is that the delivery rate of the laundry treatment substance can be adapted to the quantity of water delivered by determining the metering flow.
In a further advantageous embodiment of the laundry care appliance, the laundry care appliance comprises a weight detection device, in particular a weighing device, for detecting the weight of the quantity of water delivered, and the control device is designed to determine the laundry care substance quantity as a function of the weight of the quantity of water delivered.
The technical advantage achieved thereby is that the quantity of laundry care substance delivered can be determined particularly advantageously and rapidly by weighing the quantity of water delivered.
In a further advantageous embodiment of the laundry care appliance, the laundry care appliance comprises a volume flow sensor for detecting a volume flow of the water quantity supplied to the lye container, and the control device is designed to determine the laundry care substance quantity as a function of the supplied water quantity and the detected volume flow.
The technical advantage achieved thereby is that by detecting the volume flow of the delivered water quantity, the control device can determine the laundry care substance quantity particularly accurately. In this case, the volume flow sensor measures in particular the volume flow of water flowing through the supply line during the water supply. This is particularly advantageous when water and laundry care substance quantities are simultaneously supplied to the lye container, since in particular the supply of laundry care substance quantities can be terminated quickly with the end of the water supply.
In a further advantageous embodiment of the laundry care appliance comprising a washing drum for receiving the laundry, the laundry care appliance comprises a weight detection device for detecting the weight of the laundry in the washing drum, and the control device is designed to determine the laundry care substance quantity as a function of the quantity of water conveyed and the weight of the laundry, wherein the weight detection device comprises in particular a weighing device, a device for detecting the drop of the oscillating system of the washing drum, and/or a device for detecting a power parameter of the drive of the washing drum.
The technical advantage achieved thereby is that, by detecting the laundry weight, the control device is designed such that the laundry care substance quantity can be determined particularly accurately, since the optimally required laundry care substance quantity is dependent in particular on the water quantity and thus on the laundry weight in the washing drum. The weighing device, the device for detecting the drop of the oscillating system of the washing drum, and/or the device for detecting the power variable of the drive of the washing drum can realize the especially accurate determination of the weight of the washing in the washing drum.
In a further advantageous embodiment of the laundry care appliance, the control device is designed to determine the amount of laundry care substance delivered by the substance delivery device to the lye container on the basis of the following formula: mass of laundry care product F basic dosage mMess/mReferenzWherein F corresponds to a factor specific to the laundry care appliance, wherein mMessCorresponding to the measured weight of the laundry in the washing drum, wherein mReferenzCorresponding to a reference weight of the laundry, wherein the basic dosage corresponds to the dosage of the amount of laundry care substance when the laundry is loaded at the reference weight.
The technical advantage achieved thereby is that the control device can determine the laundry care substance quantity particularly effectively. The basic dosage corresponding to the reference weight is used as a basic standardQuantity mReferenzThe metered dose of the amount of laundry care substance when loaded with laundry and may in particular be between 10ml and 200ml, in particular 75 ml. Reference weight mReferenzThe reference weight is determined according to a usual measuring cycle and can be, for example, 2kg, but can also be varied by the user of the laundry care appliance himself. By a factor mMess/mReferenzThe basic dosage can be adjusted according to the weight of the laundry detected by the weight detection means. The factors specific to the laundry care appliance include, in particular, a scaling factor, a specific factor and/or a customer factor. The scaling factor here comprises in particular a value range between 0 and 2.55, in particular 1, and is dependent on the laundry care appliance used. The specific factors here include, in particular, values of 0.3, 0.4 and 1 and are dependent on the laundry care appliance used. The customer factor here comprises in particular values of 0.7, 1 and 1.3 and is dependent on the laundry care appliance used, for example, in order to achieve an automatic adaptation to the degree of soiling of the laundry, and can be changed by the user of the laundry care appliance, for example, in order to achieve a manual adaptation to the degree of soiling of the laundry.
In a further advantageous embodiment of the laundry care appliance, the laundry care appliance comprises a program selection device for selecting a laundry care program, wherein the control device is designed to determine the laundry care substance quantity as a function of the quantity of water delivered and the selected laundry care program.
The technical advantage achieved thereby is that a particularly effective determination of the laundry care substance quantity by the control device is ensured. Depending on the use of the laundry care program, different amounts of laundry care substance can be required, since, for example, different amounts of laundry care substance are required for the treatment of woolen laundry than, for example, for the treatment of laundry made of cotton.
In a further advantageous embodiment of the laundry care appliance, the control device is designed to determine the amount of laundry care substance delivered by the substance delivery device to the lye container on the basis of the following formula: quality of laundry care product F basic dosageVMess/VReferenzWherein F corresponds to a factor specific to the laundry care appliance, wherein VMessCorresponding to the volume of water corresponding to the quantity of water to be delivered, wherein VReferenzCorresponding to a reference volume of water to be delivered, wherein the basic dosage corresponds to the volume VReferenzLower dosage of laundry care substance.
The technical advantage achieved thereby is that the control device can determine the laundry care substance quantity particularly effectively. The basic dosing amount, which corresponds to the dosing amount of the laundry care substance when water is delivered in the reference volume and can be in particular between 10ml and 200ml, in particular 75ml, is used as a basic criterion here. The reference volume is determined according to the usual measuring cycle and can be, for example, 16 liters, but it can also be changed by the user of the laundry care appliance himself. By a factor VMess/VReferenzThe basic dosage can be adjusted according to the amount of water actually delivered.
In a further advantageous embodiment of the laundry care appliance, the control device is designed to activate the water feed device several times during the dosing time period in order to feed the water quantity to the lye container in each case in several feed processes, the control device is designed to determine the respective laundry care substance quantity as a function of the respectively fed water quantity, and the control device is designed to activate the substance feed device several times during the dosing time period in order to feed the respective laundry care substance quantity to the lye container in the respective feed process.
The technical advantage achieved thereby is that the water supplied to the lye container and the laundry care substance supplied to the lye container are not supplied to the lye container in a single supply process, but are supplied to the lye container in a decentralized manner in a plurality of supply processes. This ensures a particularly effective and uniform wetting of the laundry by the water and the laundry care substance.
In a further advantageous embodiment of the laundry care appliance, the control device is designed to convey the maximum laundry care quantity to the lye container in a conveying process if the determined laundry care quantity exceeds a maximum threshold value, wherein the difference between the determined laundry care quantity and the maximum laundry care quantity is conveyed to the lye container in a further conveying process during the dosing time period.
The technical advantage achieved thereby is that an excessive delivery of the laundry care substance can be prevented if the determined laundry care substance quantity has an excessively large value. The maximum laundry care quantity corresponding to the maximum threshold value corresponds to a laundry care quantity of such a quantity that it can be maximally delivered to the lye container during a single delivery process without causing an excessive delivery of the laundry care substance. Since the determined laundry mass is greater than the maximum laundry mass in this case, the difference between the determined laundry mass and the maximum laundry mass is delivered in a further delivery process during the dosing period, so that the entire laundry mass can be completely delivered.
In a further advantageous embodiment of the laundry care appliance, the control device is designed not to convey the determined laundry care substance quantity to the lye container during a conveying process if the determined laundry care substance quantity falls below a minimum threshold value, wherein the control device is designed to convey the determined laundry care substance quantity to the lye container during a further conveying process during the dosing time period.
The technical advantage achieved thereby is that, if the determined laundry care substance quantity has a too low value, unnecessary activation of the substance delivery device is prevented. If the determined laundry care substance quantity is below the minimum threshold value, the determined laundry care substance quantity is not conveyed during this conveying process, but instead during a further conveying process.
In a further advantageous embodiment of the laundry care appliance, the laundry care appliance has a foam detection device for detecting foam in the laundry care appliance, wherein the control device is designed to deactivate the substance delivery device or to reduce a defined laundry care substance quantity delivered to the lye container if foam in the laundry care appliance is detected.
The technical advantage achieved thereby is that the foam can be prevented from being discharged from the laundry care appliance. If foam is detected, the control device deactivates the material delivery device or delivers the determined laundry care mass to the lye container not completely but within a reduced range in order to prevent further foam formation.
According to a further aspect, the object is achieved according to the invention by a method for treating laundry in a laundry care appliance, wherein the laundry care appliance has a lye container for receiving washing liquor, a water feed device for feeding water into the lye container, a substance feed device for feeding laundry care substances into the lye container, and a control device for controlling the water feed device and the substance feed device, wherein the method comprises the following steps: the method comprises the steps of activating the water delivery device by the control device during a dosing period in order to deliver a quantity of water to the lye container, determining a quantity of the laundry care substance by the control device during the dosing period as a function of the quantity of water delivered, and activating the substance delivery device by the control device during the dosing period in order to deliver the determined quantity of the laundry care substance to the lye container.
The technical advantage achieved thereby is that an effective metered delivery of the laundry care substance into the lye container is achieved during the metering time period.

Detailed Description
Fig. 1 shows a schematic view of a conventional laundry care appliance 100, for example a washing machine. The laundry care appliance 100 comprises a storage container 101, which is also referred to as a rinsing housing and into which detergent or other laundry care substances can be introduced. The laundry care appliance 100 comprises a door 103 for loading the laundry care appliance 100 with laundry.
Fig. 2 shows a schematic view of a laundry care appliance with a lye container and a control device. The laundry care appliance 100 comprises a lye container 105 for receiving washing liquid and a washing drum 107 arranged in the lye container 105 for receiving the laundry. The lye container 105 comprises a discharge opening 109. The outlet 109 is connected to a line 111, which in turn is connected to a pump 113, which in turn is designed to pump washing lye out of the lye container 105 through the outlet 109 and out of the laundry care appliance 100 through the line 111.
The laundry care appliance 100 further comprises a water feed 115 for feeding water into the lye container 105 via a feed line 117. The laundry care appliance 100 further comprises a substance feed device 119 for feeding laundry care substances into the lye container 105 via the feed line 117. The water feed device 115 is connected to a control device 123 via a first control connection 121, wherein the control device 123 controls the water feed device 115. The substance delivery means 119 is connected to the control means 123 via a second control connection 125, wherein the control means 123 controls the substance delivery means 119. When this is not shown in fig. 2, the water supply device 115 and the substance supply device 119 are alternatively each connected separately to the lye container 105 via a water supply line or a substance supply line.
The addition or dosing of laundry care substances, such as liquid detergents, softeners and solid detergents, into the lye container 105 takes place in the conventional laundry care appliance 100 as follows. After a dosing in the pretreatment method, an initial dosing is carried out in the wetting phase at the beginning of the main wash phase and a final dosing is carried out at the end of the wetting phase in the main wash. In conventional laundry care appliances 100, the required dosage can be predicted only to a limited extent on the basis of the properties of the laundry with respect to quality, water absorption and degree of soiling. The required dosage is known at the end of the wetting phase, which can result in high expenditure of time or water and energy during the laundry care process.
Automatic dosing of the laundry care substances, such as detergent, washing agent and builder, can be carried out by the laundry care appliance 100 according to the disclosure, whereby the laundry care appliance 100 is provided with the required amount of laundry care substance in advance. In addition, the consumption of water and time for adding the laundry care substance is minimized and under-or over-dosing of the laundry care substance can be avoided.
During the dosing period, the control device 123 activates the water delivery device 115 in order to deliver a quantity of water into the lye container 105. The control device 123 is designed here to determine the laundry care substance quantity as a function of the quantity of water delivered. The control device 123 is designed to activate the substance supply device 119 during the metering time period in order to supply the determined amount of laundry care substance to the lye container 105.
The control device 123 is in particular designed to activate the water feed device 115 several times during the metering period in order to feed the water quantity to the lye container 105 in each case in several feed processes. The control device 123 is designed to determine the respective laundry care substance quantity as a function of the respectively delivered water quantity. The control device 123 is designed to activate the substance delivery device 119 several times during the metering time period in order to deliver the respective amount of laundry treatment substance to the lye container 105 during the respective delivery process.
The delivery or dosing of the laundry care substance at the end of the wetting phase is thus not carried out once, but rather is dependent on the delivery of water into the lye container 105 during the dosing period. During or after each water feed, the control device 123 determines the laundry care substance required in this case and ensures a reliable feed of the required laundry care substance quantity.
The control device 123 can here alternatively activate the water delivery device 115 and the substance delivery device 119 simultaneously in order to deliver water and the laundry care substance simultaneously to the lye container 105 during the dosing period. Alternatively, the control device 123 can activate the water delivery device 115 and the substance delivery device 119 in a time-staggered manner, in order to deliver the water and the laundry care substance to the lye container 105 in a time-staggered manner. The determination of the laundry care substance quantity can be carried out by the control device 123 either simultaneously with the water feed or at a time offset after the water feed has started.
The supply line 117 may be a supply valve, which fluidically disconnects the supply line 117 in a first valve position and connects the supply line 117 in a second valve position. For example, the opening or closing process of the delivery valve can be associated with the determination of the laundry care substance quantity and can take place continuously or at temporally defined intervals during the water delivery.
The control device 123 is designed to determine the amount of laundry care substance delivered by the substance delivery device 119 to the lye container 105 on the basis of the following formula: the quality of the laundry care product is F.basic dosage VMess/VReferenzWherein F corresponds to a factor specific to the laundry care appliance, wherein VMessCorresponding to the volume of water corresponding to the quantity of water to be delivered, wherein VReferenzCorresponding to a reference volume of water to be delivered, wherein the basic dosage corresponds toIn a reference volume VReferenzLower dosage of laundry care substance. Reference volume VReferenzIn this case, it can be set by the developer himself or by the user of the laundry care appliance 100 via the interface itself, since the corresponding value can be read, for example, from the label of the medium itself. Here, the user can input a reference volume V in litersReferenzOr the water level, which is converted into the reference volume V by the control device 123Referenz. In this case, the calibration factor includes, in particular, a value range between 0 and 2.55, in particular 1, and is dependent on the laundry care appliance 100 used. The specific factors here comprise in particular values of 0.3, 0.4 and 1 and are dependent on the laundry care appliance 100 used. The customer factor here comprises in particular values of 0.7, 1 and 1.3 and is dependent on the laundry care appliance 100 used and can be changed by the user of the laundry care appliance 100. The factor F thus enables the laundry care substance quantity to be adjusted manually or automatically as a function of the degree of soiling of the laundry.
The quantity of laundry care substance can be determined at the water inlet at the same time as the dosing process, depending on the water flow rate of the water quantity delivered, and/or the dosing speed of the quantity of laundry care substance can be set in proportion to the water flow rate, so that the dosing of the laundry care appliance 100 ends, for example, with or shortly after the end of the water supply. Alternatively, the volume flow of the delivered water can be determined by means of a volume flow sensor, and the control device 123 can determine the quantity of laundry care substance or the dosing flow of the quantity of laundry care substance as a function of the delivered water quantity and the detected volume flow.
Furthermore, the laundry care appliance 100 comprises weight detection means for detecting the weight of the laundry in the washing drum 107, for example weighing means, means for detecting the amount of lowering of the oscillating system of the washing drum 107 and/or means for detecting a power parameter of the drive of the washing drum 107. The control device 123 is designed to determine the quantity of laundry care substance as a function of the quantity of water delivered and the load of laundry, and thus to achieve an accurate determination of the required quantity of laundry care substance. The control device 123 is designed in particular forThe amount of laundry care substance delivered to the lye container 105 by the substance delivery means 119 is determined on the basis of the following formula: mass of laundry care product F basic dosage mMess/mReferenzWherein F corresponds to a factor specific to the laundry care appliance, wherein mMessCorresponding to the detected weight of the laundry in the washing drum 107, wherein mReferenzCorresponding to a reference weight of the laundry, wherein the basic dosage amount corresponds to the reference weight mReferenzDosage of the amount of laundry care substance when loaded with laundry. Reference weight mReferenzIn this case, it can be set by the developer himself or by the user of the laundry care appliance 100 via the interface itself, since the corresponding value can be read, for example, from the label of the medium itself. The factors specific to the laundry care appliance include, in particular, a calibration factor, a specific factor and/or a customer factor.
Furthermore, the laundry care appliance 100 can comprise program selection means for selecting a laundry care program, wherein the control means 123 are designed to determine the laundry care substance quantity as a function of the quantity of water delivered and the selected laundry care program. Instead of weight-related measurements or, alternatively, textile properties are taken into account for determining the laundry care substance quantity, for example, assuming that the water absorption in the procedure terry cloth is x and the water absorption in the procedure wool is y.
The control device 123 is designed in particular to convey the maximum laundry care quantity to the lye container 105 in one conveying process if the determined laundry care quantity exceeds a maximum threshold value. The control device 123 thus limits the quantity of laundry care substance delivered in this case to a maximum laundry care substance quantity in order to prevent the laundry care substance from flowing out of the delivery line, in particular the delivery siphon. In this case, the difference between the determined laundry care quantity and the maximum laundry care quantity is supplied to the lye container 105 in a further supply process during the dosing period.
The control device 123 is designed in particular such that, if the determined quantity of laundry care substance falls below a minimum threshold value, the determined quantity of laundry care substance is not supplied to the lye container 105 during a supply process. This ensures that, in the case of particularly low laundry care substance quantities, it is not necessary to additionally activate the substance delivery device 119, as a result of which resources can be saved. In this case, the control device 123 is designed to deliver the determined amount of laundry care substance to the lye container 105 during a further delivery process during the dosing time period.
After the dosing period, a final water supply for a final rinse-in of the laundry care substance can be provided. The final water supply can be proportional to the total water quantity, the total metering quantity, to the final metering quantity or be set to a fixed value.
When foam is detected before the final dosing is achieved, the dosing can be interrupted and the setpoint calculation can be adjusted or ended.
Fig. 3 shows a method for conditioning laundry in a laundry care appliance. The method comprises a first step of: the water feeding means 115 is activated 201 by the control means 123 during the dosing period in order to feed an amount of water to the lye container 105. The method 200 comprises a second step of: the quantity of the laundry care substance is determined 203 by the control device 123 during the dosing period as a function of the quantity of water delivered. The method 200 comprises a third step: during the metering period, the substance feed device 119 is activated 205 by the control device 123 in order to feed the determined amount of laundry care substance to the lye container 105.
