Example 3
A compound Chinese herbal medicine preparation for treating piglet diarrhea comprises the following components in parts by weight: 12 parts of codonopsis pilosula, 12 parts of astragalus membranaceus, 8 parts of radix bupleuri, 4 parts of poria cocos, 1 part of andrographis paniculata, 5 parts of coptis chinensis, 4.5 parts of fried areca, 0.5 part of rheum officinale, 1.5 parts of fried bighead atractylodes rhizome, 2 parts of dried orange peel, 1 part of gypsum, 4 parts of corydalis saxicola bunting, 10 parts of dandelion, 5 parts of divaricate saposhnikovia root and 3 parts of honey-fried licorice root, and the compound preparation is prepared according to the preparation method.
Selecting 40 diarrhea piglets of 40 days old, and averagely dividing into 4 groups, namely an example 1 group, an example 2 group, an example 3 group and a control group, wherein each group comprises 10 piglets; the diarrhea piglets in the groups of example 1, example 2 and example 3 are respectively added with the compound Chinese herbal medicine preparations in the examples 1, 2 and 3 into drinking water according to the dose of 5g crude drugs per pig, and the drinking water is administrated once a day in the morning and once a day for 7 days; the diarrhea piglets of the control group are fed with florfenicol powder; after the administration, weighing, collecting jugular venous blood by a non-anticoagulation tube, centrifuging, taking serum, and detecting liver function (AST, ALT) and kidney function (CREA, BUN) according to the requirements of a full-automatic biochemical kit; IgG level was detected according to the detection method of IgGELISA kit.
Before the test, sick piglets are listened, bow back, unwilling to walk, anorexia, frequent micturition of thin feces with mucus, feces polluted around anus, and serious piglets show sunken eye sockets and dehydration; after the test, the physical weakness of the piglets is obviously improved, the appetite is enhanced, the feed intake is obviously increased, and the condition of discharging the thin excrement is basically relieved; the diarrhea cure rate of the control group is 6, and 4 diarrhea cure rates are obviously relieved; example 1 group 9 healed, 1 healed substantially; example 2 group 8 healed, 2 significantly remitted; example 3 groups had 8 heals, 1 substantial heals and 1 significant relief; therefore, the compound Chinese herbal medicine preparation has better clinical curative effect on treating the diarrhea of the piglets.
TABLE 1 Effect of Compound herbal preparation on serum IgG level of diarrhea piglets (g/L)
Figure BDA0002074558910000051
Note: the same column of different letters indicates significant difference (P <0.05) and the same letters indicate insignificant difference (P > 0.05).
As can be seen from table 1, at the end of the experiment, the serum IgG levels of the weak piglets in the groups of example 1, example 2 and example 3 were significantly different (P <0.05) from those in the control group, wherein the serum IgG antibody levels of the groups of example 1, example 2 and example 3 were the highest but the difference was not significant (P >0.05) from those of the other groups 2, indicating that the compound herbal preparation has the effect of increasing the serum IgG antibody level.
TABLE 2 influence of compound Chinese herbal medicine preparation on liver and kidney functions of diarrhea piglets
Figure BDA0002074558910000061
Note: the same column of different letters indicates significant difference (P <0.05) and the same letters indicate insignificant difference (P > 0.05).
As can be seen from Table 2, at the end of the test, the indexes of liver function (AST, ALT) and kidney function (CREA, BUN) of the weak piglets in the groups of example 1, example 2 and example 3 are higher than those of the control group, and the difference is significant (P is less than 0.05), which indicates that the compound Chinese herbal medicine preparation has the index of reducing the liver and kidney functions of the diarrhea piglets, and achieves the effect of protecting the liver and the kidney.
TABLE 3 Effect of Compound Chinese herbal medicine preparation on serum protein level of diarrhea piglets
Figure BDA0002074558910000062
Note: the same column of different letters indicates significant difference (P <0.05) and the same letters indicate insignificant difference (P > 0.05).
As can be seen from Table 3, the serum total protein and albumin levels of the groups of example 1, example 2 and example 3 were higher than those of the control group after the test, but were not significantly different from those of the control group (P > 0.05); the immunoglobulin levels in the example 1, example 2, and example 3 groups were significantly higher than the control group (P <0.05), where; the globulin level of the group in the example 2 is highest and is remarkably higher than that of the group in the example 1 (P <0.05), but the difference is not remarkable compared with that of the group in the example 3 (P >0.05), and the compound Chinese herbal medicine preparation has the effect of increasing the serum immunoglobulin of the diarrhea piglets.
