Disclosure of Invention
The object of the present invention is to provide a support device for supporting a cushion, in particular a mattress, of a piece of seating and/or lying furniture, which is simple and stable in construction.
The object of the invention is solved by a solution having the following features.
The invention provides a support device for supporting a cushion of seating or lying furniture, in particular a mattress, comprising a base body for the surface support of the cushion, which base body has a plurality of spring elements, and at least one loading/unloading device for the application or unloading of pressure on the cushion, wherein the loading/unloading device acts on at least one spring element for the application or unloading of pressure, the loading/unloading device having at least one electric motor which is operatively connected to at least one pressure element, by means of which pressure can be applied to at least one spring element or to at least one spring element for the application or unloading of pressure, and according to the invention the loading/unloading device has at least one first carriage which is drivingly connected to the electric motor, the first carriage is movable in translation along the longitudinal direction of the support device, wherein the first carriage supports at least one arm, the free end of which supports the pressure element for loading/unloading the elastic element.
According to the invention, the pressure element or the pressure elements are arranged on at least one slide which can be moved in a translatory manner in the longitudinal direction of the support device. Depending on the respective position of the slide in the longitudinal direction of the support device, pressure is applied to different elastic parts and thus to different locations in the longitudinal direction of the support device, so that, for example, a massaging effect can be achieved. By means of a corresponding movement of the slide, for example, a rolling massage effect, which is generally pleasant for the person, can be achieved.
The support device according to the invention thus develops various possibilities, for example for achieving a massaging effect.
In principle, it is sufficient to provide a single pressure element, which acts on the spring element, for example, in the longitudinal plane of the support device. In order to achieve a uniform pressing action in the direction transverse to the longitudinal direction, an advantageous development of the invention provides that the first carriage has at least two arms, each of which has a pressure element, wherein the pressure elements are spaced apart from one another transversely to the longitudinal direction of the support device.
A further advantageous development of the invention provides that the elastic elements are elastic strips which are connected to one another by at least one flexible strip, wherein at least one pressure element bears against the flexible strip in order to load or unload the strip by the flexible strip. In this way a particularly simple loading/unloading structure is formed.
The shape and structure of the pressure element can be selected within wide limits according to the respective requirements. An advantageous development of the invention provides that the at least one pressure element is designed as a wheel or roller.
According to a further advantageous development of the invention, the first carriage is provided with a first electric linear drive for moving the first carriage in the longitudinal direction of the support device. The corresponding linear drive can be produced using relatively simple and inexpensive standard components.
A particularly advantageous development of the invention provides that the or each pressure element is adjustable relative to the spring element toward and/or away from the support plane, and that the or each pressure element is provided with an electric adjustment drive. In this way, it is possible to adjust not only the position where the loading and unloading are performed in order to achieve the massaging effect, but also the intensity of the pressure loading at the same time by adjusting the pressure element with a greater or lesser intensity with respect to the support plane. Thus, the intensity of the massaging action can be adapted to the particular situation of the respective user.
In the aforementioned embodiments, it is achieved that the pressure element is adjusted in various ways with respect to the support plane. In the case of a particularly simple and stable construction, an advantageous development provides that the or each pressure element is arranged at the free end of a pivoting lever and that the pivoting lever is provided with a pivoting drive as an actuating drive for adjusting the pressure element relative to the spring element.
In an advantageous development of the aforementioned embodiment, the or each pivoting drive has a second electric linear drive.
A development of the embodiment with linear drives provides that at least one electric linear drive has a spindle drive. The corresponding spindle drive can be used as a relatively simple and cost-effective modular unit and is particularly stable.
A further refinement of the embodiment with the pivot lever or the pivot levers provides that the or each pivot lever is connected to a pivot shaft which is mounted in a rotationally fixed manner on the first carriage, wherein the pivot shaft is connected to the second electric linear drive in a pivot-driven manner. In this embodiment, the pivot drive acts on the pivot axis.
In the case of a linear drive as the oscillating drive, the conversion of the linear motion of the output member of the linear drive into an oscillating motion can be achieved in various ways. In this connection, a particularly simple embodiment provides that a first end of a connecting link is connected in an articulated manner to the linearly moving output element of the second linear drive at a first articulation point, and a second end of the connecting link is connected eccentrically to the pivot shaft and its pivot axis at a second articulation point, so that the pivot shaft pivots about its pivot axis when the output element moves linearly.
According to the invention, it is in principle sufficient for the support device to have a single loading/unloading device. The carriage can be loaded or unloaded at different positions on the support device by means of a corresponding positioning of the carriage. In order to simultaneously carry out the loading or unloading at least two points spaced apart from one another in the longitudinal direction of the support device, an advantageous development provides that at least two loading/unloading devices are provided, which are spaced apart from one another in the longitudinal direction of the support device in order to load different points in the longitudinal direction of the support device. In this way, the comfort of the user of the support device is further improved by the fact that a massaging effect can be achieved simultaneously in different parts of the support device.
A further advantageous development provides a control device for actuating the electric motor or the electric motors. The actuation of the control device can be effected, for example, by remote operation or by manual switching in a wired or wireless manner.
A particularly advantageous development of the invention provides that the control device actuates the electric motor or the electric motors in such a way that the pressure element or the pressure elements act chronologically one after the other on at least two spring elements arranged one behind the other in the longitudinal direction of the support device. Thus, almost any desired loading or massage mode can be implemented by appropriate programming of the control device.
In terms of a simple and uncomplicated construction, a further advantageous development of the invention provides that the or each pressure element carries out a load release (lost beaufschlagt) on the or each respective spring element.
The spring element can be designed, for example, as a spring rail in various ways. In this respect, a further advantageous development provides that the spring element is a spring rail. The corresponding resilient batten can be used as a simple and inexpensive standard component and offers a high degree of resilient comfort.
According to the invention, it is in principle sufficient for the base body of the support device to have a single support part which defines a substantially horizontal support plane. In order to further increase the comfort for the user of the support device, an advantageous development provides that the support device has at least two support parts which can be adjusted relative to one another. The support device thus provides a possible adjustment solution, for example between a sittable position and a recumbent position, as is well known in slat frames.
In order to further increase the comfort, a development of the aforementioned embodiment provides that at least one electric adjustment device is provided on the support device in order to adjust the at least one support element in its inclination and/or in its height.
A further advantageous development of the invention provides that the loading/unloading device is accommodated in the same housing together with the support device and the cushion.
According to a further advantageous development of the invention, the loading/unloading device is arranged in the contour height of the base body of the support device. According to the invention, the arrangement within the profile height of the base body of the support device is understood to mean that the loading/unloading device does not project beyond the base body in a side view, i.e. in the vertical direction.
A further particularly advantageous development of the invention provides that the support plane is equipped with sensor means for sensing the weight of a person resting on the support means, wherein the sensor means are connected to the control means for data transmission and the control means are designed and programmed such that the pressure exerted by the at least one pressure element can be set or can be set as a function of the sensed weight. In this way, a smaller pressure can be applied to a person with a lighter weight and a larger pressure can be applied to a person with a heavier weight, so that the massage effect is adjusted to the weight of the respective user. In this way, a massage effect that is always pleasant for users of different body weights can be achieved.

Detailed Description
Fig. 1 shows an exemplary embodiment of a support device 2 according to the invention, which has a base body 20, which is designed in this exemplary embodiment as a slat frame and has a plurality of spring elements, which are formed from spring slats. Only two slats are marked with reference numbers 22, 24 in fig. 1. The top surfaces of the slats 22, 24 define a support plane on which a cushion, such as a mattress, rests in use of the support device.
In order to provide a massage function, electromechanical loading/unloading means are provided, which are described in detail below.
Fig. 2 shows a schematic diagram of an electromechanical loading/unloading device 26.
The loading/unloading device 26 has a first carriage 28 which is movable in translation along the longitudinal direction of the support device 2, as indicated in fig. 2 by a double arrow 30. The first carriage 28 is part of a first linear drive 32. The first carriage 28 is in driving connection with a first motor 34 and supports an arm 33, the free end of which supports a pressure element 36 for loading and unloading the slats 22, 24.
The pressure elements 36 are designed in this embodiment as wheels or rollers.
The pressure element 36 is adjustable relative to the support plane defined by the slats 22, 24. For the adjustment of the pressure element 36 relative to the support plane, an adjustment drive 38 is provided and designed, the direction of adjustment of which is indicated in fig. 2 by a double arrow 40. The associated actuating drive 38 with the second electric motor is explained in detail below with reference to fig. 6 and 7.
The slats 22, 24 are held between flexible strips, which are shown in fig. 2 by dashed lines 40, 42.
In use of the support device 2, the first carriage 28 of the first linear drive is moved to the left in fig. 2 along the respective linear axis in order to achieve a massaging effect.
The pressure element 36 can be adjusted relative to the slats 22, 24 by adjusting the drive 38 in order to produce a loading/unloading effect on the slats and thereby to achieve a massaging function.
Fig. 3 shows the interaction between the pressure element 36 and the slat 24, wherein the pressure element 36 exerts a pressure on the slat 24, so that the slat is deflected such that it protrudes from the support plane. As can be seen from fig. 3, the pressure element 36 rests against the side of the flexible strip 40 facing away from the slats 22, 24.
As shown in fig. 2 and 3, the strips 22, 24, which are arranged one behind the other in the longitudinal direction of the support device 2, are successively loaded during the linear movement of the first carriage 28 in order to achieve a "rolling" massage effect.
An embodiment embodying the basic principles illustrated in fig. 2 and 3 is described in detail below with reference to fig. 4 to 7.
In fig. 4, the support device 2 is shown, wherein some of the slats are removed in order to show the details of the electromechanical loading/unloading device 26.
In this embodiment, a further loading/unloading device 26' is provided in addition to the loading/unloading device 26. The loading/unloading means 26, 26' are arranged spaced apart from each other in the longitudinal direction of the support means 2 in order to achieve a massaging effect in different locations along the support means 2.
The two loading/unloading devices 26, 26' have the same structure. Therefore, only the loading/unloading device 26 will be described in detail below. For ease of illustration, only the loading/unloading device 26 is shown in fig. 4-7, with the loading/unloading device 26' omitted.
As shown in fig. 5, the loading/unloading device 26 has a first carriage 28 which is part of a first linear drive and is movable along a linear axis in the longitudinal direction of the support device 2. Said linear axis is defined by a first linear guide 44 extending in the longitudinal direction of the support device 2.
The first carriage 28 is drivingly connected to a first motor 34, wherein the first carriage 28 supports an arm 33 (see fig. 5 and 6), the free end of which supports a pressure element 36 for loading and unloading the slats 22, 24. The pressure element 36 is designed in this exemplary embodiment as a wheel or roller which is mounted rotatably relative to the arm 33 and bears against the side of the flexible strip 40 facing away from the slats 22, 24. (see in particular fig. 6).
In the exemplary embodiment shown, the first carriage 28 supports two arms, namely an arm 33 and a further arm 33 ', wherein each arm 33, 33 ' has a pressure element 36 or 36 ', respectively. The pressure elements 36, 36' are spaced apart from one another perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the support device 2, as can be seen in particular from fig. 6.
The pressure elements 36, 36 'are adjustable relative to a support plane defined by the slats 22, 24, wherein the adjustment drive 38 is designed to adjust the pressure elements 36, 36' relative to the support plane.
A pivot axis 46 (see fig. 6) is pivotably mounted on the first carriage 28, to which pivot axis the arms 33, 33' are connected in a rotationally fixed manner. The adjustment drive 38 is designed to pivot the pivot axis 46 about its pivot axis in order to adjust the pressure elements 36, 36 'relative to the strips 22, 24 by pivoting the arms 33, 33'. Thus, the arm portions 33, 33' have a swing lever function.
In order to move the first carriage 28 along the first linear guide 44, the first linear drive has a first spindle drive 48 (see fig. 6). The first spindle drive 48 has a first spindle which extends in the longitudinal direction of the first linear guide 44 and is mounted on the latter in a rotationally fixed manner. The nut of which is fitted over the first spindle and is in rotary driving connection with the output shaft of the electric motor 34 via a worm gear. This first spindle nut is accommodated together with the worm gear and the output shaft in a first slide 28, which is designed in the form of a shell.
When the output shaft of the first motor 34 rotates, the first screw nut rotates. The first carriage 28 is thus moved in one direction or the other along the first linear guide 44 depending on the direction of rotation of the spindle nut, whereby the first carriage 28 together with the pressure elements 36, 36 'are positioned in the longitudinal direction of the first linear guide, so that the slats 22, 24 are loaded at the respective positions by the pressure elements 36, 36' in order to load/unload the respective slat 22, 24.
A second linear guide 50 (see fig. 5) is provided extending parallel to the first linear guide 44. On the second linear guide 50, a second carriage 52 is guided in the longitudinal direction of the support device 2.
The pivot axis 46 is connected to the second carriage 52 so as to be pivotable or pivotable. The second carriage 52 is therefore connected to the first carriage 28 in a non-displaceable manner via the pivot axis. Thus, when the first carriage 28 is moved when the first motor 34 is operated, the carriages 28, 52 are moved synchronously.
The adjustment drive 38 is explained in detail below with reference to fig. 7.
The adjustment drive 38 has a second linear drive with a second electric motor 54 and a second spindle drive.
A second spindle nut 58 is rotatably arranged above the second spindle of the second spindle drive. The second spindle nut constitutes an output member of the second spindle drive. When the second motor 54 is operated, the second screw is rotated, so that the second screw nut 58 moves in one direction or the other in the longitudinal direction of the second screw according to the rotational direction of the second screw.
As shown in fig. 7, a connecting piece 60 is provided for rotating or pivoting the pivot shaft 46 about its pivot axis when the second spindle nut 58 is moved linearly. A first end of the connecting link 60 is connected to the second spindle nut in an articulated manner at a first articulation point 62, while a second end of the connecting link 60 is connected to the pivot shaft 46 at a second articulation point 64 and is connected eccentrically to the pivot axis of the pivot shaft, so that the pivot shaft 46 pivots during the linear movement of the second spindle nut 58.
A control device 64 (see fig. 2) is provided for actuating the electric motors 34, 54.
When the first motor 34 is activated, the carriages 28, 52 are positioned along the linear guides 44, 50 relative to the slats 22, 24 in order to load the slats 22, 24 in the respective locations.
When the second motor 54 is activated, the pivot shaft 46 pivots, so that the pressure elements 36, 36' act on the respective slat by exerting a pressure. The intensity of the massage effect produced can be controlled by controlling the swing angle.
