With the development of high speed and heavy load of railways, the steel rail can generate the defects of fatigue crack, fat edge, wave abrasion and the like, and the running stability and safety of railway vehicles are influenced; meanwhile, the defects can accelerate the failure of the steel rail and bring about great economic loss. Therefore, preventive and repair maintenance of rails is a necessary measure to extend the life of rails and to improve comfort, economy and safety. At present, the steel rail repairing modes mainly comprise modes of grinding, planing, milling, manual grinding and the like, wherein the mode of repairing the steel rail by adopting an efficient grinding machine is most commonly applied. The domestic common polishing method is to use various small-sized polishing machines to manually control polishing, and a polishing head is driven by a gasoline internal combustion engine or electric power. The method has low automation degree and extremely low efficiency, and can only be used for track repair work in small scale and small range; in the aspect of a copying technology, the original rail is subjected to contact copying through a mechanical roller and a rail surface (the rail surface is not a standard rail surface but a defective rail surface), and the grinding amount is manually adjusted, so that the grinding surface cannot be standardized, standard and human factors are more.
The domestic advanced polishing method is to polish by adopting a foreign hydraulically-driven polishing locomotive, so that the polishing efficiency is greatly improved. However, this grinding method has certain drawbacks in the technique of profiling the rail surface: the profiling adopts a hydraulic mode, the grinding head is pressed to the track, a certain pressure is kept between the grinding wheel and the track, the grinding force is ensured, but the abrasion homogenization effect on guided waves is weak, namely, cutting is still carried out at a wave trough; the profiling of the rail surface is realized through hydraulic pressure, so that the grinding surface cannot be standardized.
