Abstract

Description
本发明涉及一种抑制腐蚀、电导率和/或氢脆的含水除冰和/或防冻组合物,其中该组合物包含一种或多种碱金属羧酸盐作为主成分。在另外的方面,本发明涉及所述组合物在主要交通区域如街道、道路和机场跑道上雪和/或冰的除冰和/或防冻中的应用,以及用于在含水除冰和/或防冻组合物中获得腐蚀抑制、电导率抑制和/或氢脆抑制的方法。
在例如开放交通区域如机场跑道、街道、道路、自行车道、步行道(footpath)、人行道(sidewalk)、桥梁、后院、停车场、运动场和类似区域上除去(除冰)和预防(防冻)霜冻、冰或雪堆积,对于避免个体、交通和运输安全的实质性损害是至关重要的。因此,长期以来已知将用于雪和冰融化和/或解冻的组合物或化合物应用于这些区域。建造这些区域的材料和制造例如在这些区域运输的车辆和容器的材料,如混凝土、石头、沥青和各种金属,必不可被除冰或防冻组合物所损坏或以其它方式毁坏。因此,有必要消除对例如金属,尤其是用于例如飞机和汽车的轻金属的腐蚀作用。此外,除冰或防冻组合物可能进入到废水中,因此生物可降解性是进一步的要求。实现非常快速的解冻也是必要的。
为了除去雪和冰,使用固体和液体除冰和防冻化合物和组合物。通常用于例如开放交通区域的除冰剂和防冻剂包括碱金属、碱土金属、胺和铵的羧酸盐和盐类,如钾、钠、锂、镁、钙和铵的,甲酸、乙酸、丙酸、丁酸、异丁酸、草酸、丙二酸、琥珀酸、戊二酸、己二酸、柠檬酸、葡萄糖酸、苯甲酸、碳酸、重碳酸的盐、氟化物、氯化物和溴化物。另外,常用的除冰剂和防冻剂包括尿素和二醇,如乙二醇和丙二醇。不再推荐尿素,因为它降解成具有不期望的环境影响的氨,并且因为尿素在低于-7℃的温度下失去其融化和/或解冻雪和冰的能力。
用于如机场跑道的区域内的除冰和防冻组合物的一项重要测试是ASTM F 483-98、AMS 1431D和AMS 1435C中公开的浸泡腐蚀试验,规定重铬酸盐化的镁合金AZ31B-H26板必须耐受5重量%和15重量%的含水除冰和/或防冻组合物,或未被稀释形式的液体除冰和/或防冻组合物,在38℃下24小时后所述板的重量变化小于0.2mg/cm2。
已经进行了许多尝试以通过使用抑制剂解决如腐蚀和氢脆的问题。EP 0 375 214公开了一种液体除冰组合物,其由45-60重量%的碱金属乙酸盐和/或碱金属甲酸盐,0.1-0.4重量%的碱金属磷酸盐和0.2-0.6重量%的碱金属亚硝酸盐组成。碱金属磷酸盐和碱金属亚硝酸盐的抑制剂效果距离所期望的相差很大,尤其是相对于镁而言。另一个缺点是亚硝酸盐的含量。DE 40 34 217教导了一种基于水溶性甲酸和/或乙酸的碱金属盐的液体或固体除冰组合物,具有腐蚀抑制剂体系,其由水溶性多元羧酸和水溶性碱金属硅酸盐和/或碳酸盐组成。据说该除冰组合物既不侵害混凝土、沥青或石头的构造,也不侵害金属材料如铁、铜、铝或锌。US 4,803,007描述了一种基于氯化钠的除冰组合物,其中利用二价金属盐和碱金属聚磷酸盐的混合物作为腐蚀抑制剂。所提及的二价金属包括钙、镁和钡,具有硼酸根、偏硅酸根和硫酸根作为抗衡离子。该抑制剂组合物作用于特别是抗衡对黑色金属的腐蚀,但是相对于轻金属如镁的腐蚀则作用较少。US 6,059,989教导了一种除冰组合物,其基本上由87-99.45重量%的碱金属乙酸盐和/或甲酸盐,0.5-10重量%的碱金属硅酸盐和0.05-3重量%的碱金属磷酸盐作为腐蚀抑制剂组成。据称该组合物确保短的解冻时间和腐蚀保护,尤其是相对于镁。DE 4 034 217提供了一种除冰组合物,其包含碱金属或铵的甲酸盐或乙酸盐,羟基取代的多元羧酸,碱金属或铵的硅酸盐或碳酸盐和***或噻唑作为腐蚀抑制剂。WO 03/006571公开了一种用于除冰组合物的腐蚀抑制剂,其中该腐蚀抑制剂包含二元或多元化合物,C5-C16脂肪族单或二元酸和任选地烃基***,其中多元化合物与脂肪酸的比例在约10:1和1:1之间。
此外,已知使用碱金属偏硅酸盐,例如偏硅酸钠(Na2SiO3),包括其无水物种类和水合物,以增加其中测试金属仅被缓慢腐蚀的区域中的pH并且得到保护性硅酸盐层。偏硅酸钠是常公开于文献中的众所周知的抑制剂。然而,碱金属偏硅酸盐对于甲酸盐溶液中镁的腐蚀没有提供足够的保护,这是为什么必须添加额外的抑制剂,如常用的碱金属磷酸盐和羧酸盐。
现在已经非常令人惊讶地发现,非常少量的琥珀酸和/或至少一种碱金属琥珀酸盐引起在含水除冰和/或防冻组合物中显著改善的腐蚀抑制、电导率抑制和/或氢脆抑制,所述含水除冰和/或防冻组合物包含作为活性除冰和/或防冻组分的至少一种碱金属羧酸盐。因此,本发明涉及一种新型的含水除冰和/或防冻组合物,其包含40-60重量%,如45-55重量%的至少一种碱金属羧酸盐,0.1-0.5重量%,如0.2-0.4重量%的苯甲酸和/或以苯甲酸计的至少一种碱金属苯甲酸盐,0.05-0.5重量%,如0.1-0.3重量%的至少一种碱金属磷酸盐,0.005-0.05重量%,如0.01-0.03重量%的至少一种碱金属偏硅酸盐,包括其无水物种类和水合物,和0.01-0.15重量%,如0.05-0.1重量%的琥珀酸和/或以琥珀酸计的至少一种碱金属琥珀酸盐。余量至100重量%的是水,并且通过添加至少一种碱金属氢氧化物和/或碳酸盐将所述组合物的pH调节至pH 9-12,例如10-11。
在本发明的优选实施方案中,所述碱金属是钾和/或钠,所述羧酸盐是甲酸盐和/或乙酸盐。
在特别优选的实施方案中,本发明的组合物包含45-55重量%的钾和/或钠的甲酸盐和/或乙酸盐,0.2-0.4重量%的苯甲酸和/或以苯甲酸计的钾和/或钠的苯甲酸盐,0.1-0.2重量%的钾和/或钠的磷酸盐,0.01-0.03重量%的钾和/或钠的偏硅酸盐,包括其无水物种类和水合物,和0.05-0.1重量%的琥珀酸和/或以琥珀酸计的钾和/或钠的琥珀酸盐。余量至100重量%的是水,并且通过添加钾和/或钠的氢氧化物和/或碳酸盐将所述优选组合物的pH调节至pH 10-11。
根据本发明的组合物在其各种实施方案中可以额外包含至少一种粘度调节剂,其选自但不限于羟烷基纤维素如羟乙基纤维素,和/或微纤化纤维素,其量为0.1-1.0重量%,和/或至少一种氧清除剂,如钾和/或钠的亚磷酸氢盐,其量为0.01-0.5重量%。
在进一步的方面,本发明涉及如上所述的组合物用于开放交通区域的除冰和/或防冻的用途,所述开放交通区域如机场跑道和滑行道、街道、道路、自行车道、步行道、桥梁、后院、停车场和/或运动场和/或需要除冰和/或防冻的其它区域。
在仍旧进一步的方面,本发明涉及一种在含水除冰和/或防冻组合物中获得腐蚀抑制、电导率抑制和/或氢脆抑制的方法,所述含水除冰和/或防冻组合物包含作为活性除冰和/或防冻组分的至少一种碱金属羧酸盐,如钾和/或钠的甲酸盐和/或乙酸盐,所述方法包括添加琥珀酸和/或至少一种如钾和/或钠的碱金属的琥珀酸盐,其量为以琥珀酸计在除冰和/或防冻组合物的总量中0.01-0.15重量%,例如0.05-0.10重量%。该方法进一步和任选地包括添加如上根据本发明的关于除冰和/或防冻组合物所公开和讨论的化合物,如添加苯甲酸和/或至少一种碱金属苯甲酸盐,至少一种碱金属磷酸盐和/或至少一种碱金属偏硅酸盐。该方法当然也可以包括添加粘度调节剂、氧清除剂。
如上公开和讨论的组合物和方法当然也可以包括添加本领域已知和使用的和/或为特定目的而需要或要求的任何其他辅助的或附带的添加剂,如着色剂、抑制剂、缓冲剂和示踪剂。此外,所述组合物还可以用作不含水除冰和/或防冻组合物,例如以粉末或颗粒形式,其中水是被排除的,作为溶剂型除冰和/或防冻组合物其中水至少部分地被一种或多种有机溶剂如脂族醚所替代,和/或与基于例如铵、胺、碱金属和/或碱土金属的羧酸盐和/或卤化物的其它除冰和/或防冻化合物和组合物的组合,和/或与例如二醇如乙二醇和/或丙二醇的组合。
不需要进一步详细的说明,据信本领域技术人员可以使用前面的说明书最大限度地利用本发明。在下文中,实施例1-3是组合物实施方案,实施例4-6是对比实施例,实施例7-9涉及测试和评价。
实施例1-实施方案
通过混合和溶解制备除冰和/或防冻组合物。
加水补足到100重量%,并且通过添加氢氧化钾将pH最终调节至10.5±0.2。
实施例2-实施方案
重复实施例1,区别在于添加0.50重量%的Piano(微纤化纤维素-Borregard,挪威)。
实施例3-实施方案
重复实施例1,区别在于添加0.016重量%的无水偏硅酸钠替代0.015重量%的偏硅酸钠五水合物。
实施例4-比较例
重复实施例1,区别在于用相同量的马来酸替代琥珀酸。
实施例5-比较例
重复实施例1,区别在于用相同量的壬二酸替代琥珀酸。
实施例6-比较例
重复实施例1,区别在于用相同量的癸二酸替代琥珀酸。
实施例7-腐蚀
使用AMS 4376的镁合金测试板,如在AMS 2475中重铬酸盐化并处理,评估根据实施例1、3、4、5和6的除冰/防冻组合物的腐蚀。所述测试板在38℃下浸泡在组合物中24小时和168小时,通过称重确定重量损失。证明了根据本发明组合物优异的腐蚀抑制作用的结果提供如下。
实施例8-氢脆
在根据ASTM F 519-13试样1c上进行的实施例1、2、3、4和5的除冰/防冻组合物进行氢脆测试,下面的结果证明本发明组合物优异的氢脆抑制作用:

Claims (20)
1.含水除冰和/或防冻组合物,所述组合物包含40-60重量%的至少一种碱金属羧酸盐,0.1-0.5重量%的苯甲酸和/或以苯甲酸计的至少一种碱金属苯甲酸盐,0.05-0.5重量%的至少一种碱金属磷酸盐,0.005-0.05重量%的至少一种碱金属偏硅酸盐,和0.01-0.15重量%的琥珀酸和/或以琥珀酸计的至少一种碱金属琥珀酸盐,余量至100重量%的是水,并且通过添加至少一种碱金属氢氧化物和/或碳酸盐将所述组合物的pH调节至pH 9-12。
2.根据权利要求1的组合物,所述组合物包含45-55重量%的至少一种碱金属羧酸盐,0.2-0.4重量%的苯甲酸和/或以苯甲酸计的至少一种碱金属苯甲酸盐,0.1-0.2重量%的至少一种碱金属磷酸盐,0.01-0.03重量%的至少一种碱金属偏硅酸盐,和0.05-0.1重量%的琥珀酸和/或以琥珀酸计的至少一种碱金属琥珀酸盐,余量至100重量%的是水,并且通过添加至少一种碱金属氢氧化物和/或碳酸盐将所述组合物的pH调节至pH 10-11。
3.根据权利要求1或2的组合物,所述至少一种碱金属偏硅酸盐是至少一种碱金属硅酸盐。
4.根据权利要求1-3中任一项的组合物,所述碱金属是钾和/或钠。
5.根据权利要求1-4中任一项的组合物,所述羧酸盐是甲酸盐和/或乙酸盐。
6.根据权利要求1-5中任一项的组合物,所述组合物包含45-55重量%的钾和/或钠的甲酸盐和/或乙酸盐,0.2-0.4重量%的苯甲酸和/或以苯甲酸计的钾和/或钠的苯甲酸盐,0.1-0.3重量%的钾和/或钠的磷酸盐,0.01-0.03重量%的钾和/或钠的偏硅酸盐和/或其无水物种类和/或水合物,和0.05-0.1重量%的琥珀酸和/或以琥珀酸计的钾和/或钠的琥珀酸盐,余量至100重量%的是水,并且通过添加钾和/或钠的氢氧化物和/或碳酸盐将所述组合物的pH调节至pH 10-11。
7.根据权利要求1-6中任一项的组合物,所述组合物额外包含0.1-1.0重量%的至少一种粘度调节剂。
8.根据权利要求7的组合物,所述至少一种粘度调节剂是至少一种羟烷基纤维素。
9.根据权利要求8的组合物,所述至少一种羟烷基纤维素是羟乙基纤维素。
10.根据权利要求7的组合物,所述至少一种粘度调节剂是至少一种微纤化纤维素。
11.根据权利要求1-10中任一项的组合物,所述组合物额外包含0.01-0.5重量%的至少一种氧清除剂。
12.根据权利要求11的组合物,所述至少一种氧清除剂是钾和/或钠的亚硫酸氢盐。
13.根据权利要求1-12中任一项的组合物用于需要除冰和/或防冻的区域的除冰和/或防冻的用途。
14.根据权利要求13的用途,所述区域是开放交通区域,其选自机场跑道和滑行道、街道、道路、自行车道、步行道、人行道、桥梁、后院、停车场和/或运动场。
15.一种在含水除冰和/或防冻组合物中获得腐蚀抑制、电导率抑制和/或氢脆抑制的方法,所述含水除冰和/或防冻组合物包含作为活性除冰和/或防冻组分的至少一种碱金属羧酸盐,所述方法包括添加以琥珀酸计0.01-0.15重量%的琥珀酸和/或至少一种碱金属琥珀酸盐。
16.根据权利要求15的方法,所述方法包括添加以琥珀酸计0.05-0.10重量%的琥珀酸和/或至少一种碱金属琥珀酸盐。
17.根据权利要求15或16的方法,所述碱金属琥珀酸盐是钾和/或钠的琥珀酸盐。
18.根据权利要求15-17中任一项的方法,所述方法还包括添加苯甲酸和/或至少一种碱金属苯甲酸盐,至少一种碱金属磷酸盐和至少一种碱金属偏硅酸盐。
