空气捕集器发光单元78包括印刷电路板104,印刷电路板104包括定位在与光引导件58的后端部40相邻的密封腔108内的LED 106的环状构型。在一方面,透镜110定位在LED106与光引导件58的光接收端部或后端部40之间。在另一方面,透镜110是可互换的或选择性地涂覆有荧光或磷光材料,以在无需使用用于不同颜色的照明光通道34的不同的LED的情况下使输出的LED光在进入光引导件58之前转变成选定的颜色。
光引导件58由透亮的光引导材料——比如晶体透镜级聚碳酸酯材料——制成。来自LED 106的光经由光引导件58的光接收端部或后端部40进入光引导件58。接收的LED光沿着光引导件58穿行并由光引导件58大致限制在光引导件58的内表面90与光引导件58的外表面92之间。然而,光通过在外表面92上雕刻或刻蚀的设计94而被分散,使得该设计通过光引导件的内表面90而明显地显现,如在图10中最佳地图示。因此,看起来像是光引导件58的内表面90显现出设计94,但是该设计是定位在保护该设计免受吸进物体的损坏的外表面92上的。
如图2中示意性地示出的,车辆10可以包括驾驶员侧的头灯组件16和乘客侧的头灯组件17两者,其中,两个头灯组件16与17之间设置有护栅19。在一方面,乘客侧的头灯组件17的结构和功能是与驾驶员侧的头灯组件16相同的镜像组件。然而,应该理解的是,头灯组件16、17中的每个头灯组件的照明空气捕集器通道组件26两者是完全相同的且可互换的。
进气开口74在车辆10的前端部28处的头灯组件16、17中的定位提供了在车辆10向前移动时处于车辆10的高压力区域的附加优点。这带来了在给定的时间段内迫使更大量的空气穿过进气***14并且进入发动机12中的冲压空气效应(ram-air effect),还进一步提高了发动机的性能。
本发明的描述实际上是仅示例性的,并且因此不背离本发明的主旨的变型旨在属于本发明的范围内。这种变型不被认为是背离本发明的精神和范围。

Claims (6)

1.一种用于汽车车辆(10)的头灯组件(16),所述头灯组件(16)包括:
头灯壳体(24),所述头灯壳体(24)安装至所述车辆(10)的车身并且包括延伸穿过所述头灯壳体(24)的气流开口(74);
联接至所述壳体(24)的光引导件(58),所述光引导件(58)形成从所述气流开口(74)延伸到所述车辆(10)的车身的内部中的气流通道(34)的一部分;
所述光引导件(58)的表面刻蚀有沿着所述气流通道(34)的长度延伸的可见的设计(94);
LED发光单元(78),所述LED发光单元(78)邻近于所述光引导件(58)的端部定位,以使来自所述发光单元(78)的光穿过所述光引导件(58)而区别地照亮所刻蚀的所述设计(94)。
2.根据权利要求1所述的头灯组件,其中,所述光引导件(58)和所述LED发光单元(78)包括能够作为独立单元安装至所述头灯壳体(24)的子组件。
3.根据权利要求1所述的头灯组件,还包括覆盖所述光引导件(58)的内表面(90)的硬覆层,并且其中,刻蚀有所述设计(94)的所述表面是所述光引导件(58)的相反的外表面(92)。
4.根据权利要求1所述的头灯组件,还包括定位在所述发光单元(78)的LED(106)与所述光引导件(58)之间的透镜(110),其中,所述透镜(110)包括使由所述LED(106)发出的光在进入所述光引导件(58)之前转变成所选定的颜色的材料。
5.根据权利要求1所述的头灯组件,其中,所述光引导件(58)包括限定所述气流通道(34)的长度的管状构件,并且所述头灯壳体(24)包括环绕所述光引导件(58)的管状突出部(32)。
6.根据权利要求1所述的头灯组件,还包括导管(20、22),所述导管(20、22)在所述气流通道(34)与所述车辆(10)的发动机(12)之间提供流体连通以将穿过所述气流通道(34)的空气提供至所述发动机(12)。
