技术领域
本发明涉及用于治疗牙齿过敏的产品和方法。
背景与现有技术
牙齿过敏是一种痛苦的病症,高达20%的成年人群受其之苦。过敏性牙齿可能对冷、热、空气或含糖食物敏感。据信,牙齿过敏与牙周疾病、牙刷磨损或牙质结合处附近的薄牙釉质循环负荷疲劳导致的牙齿暴露的根表面的普遍增加有关。
基于两种作用模式,有两种治疗类型来治疗牙齿过敏。第一类为神经去极化剂,其为诸如硝酸钾的药物制剂,其通过干扰痛觉刺激的神经传导起作用。
第二类已知为闭塞剂,其通过物理阻断牙本质小管的暴露端部起作用,从而减少牙本质液体流动并减少与流体动力理论所述的剪切应力相关的刺激。
闭塞剂的例子见于US 5,270,031中,其描述了包含聚丙烯酸的细管闭塞脱敏剂,诸如聚合物材料。另一细管闭塞组合物公开于US 5,374,417中,其公开了一种合成阴离子聚合物,诸如聚羧酸盐的钾盐。
仍继续需要有效的产品以帮助将组合物施用于牙齿,并缓解过敏的影响。
发明内容
本发明涉及一种口腔护理产品,其包含刮铲和口腔护理组合物,所述刮铲包括从杆状物伸出的宽的、基本上平坦的施用表面,所述施用表面具有从其表面突出的至少一个弯曲的突起部,其中所述突起部的长度大于其高度。
本发明还涉及一种用于治疗过敏症的根据任何前述权利要求的口腔护理产品。
具体实施方式
本发明的口腔护理产品包括用于将口腔护理产品施用于牙齿的刮铲。刮铲的形状使得产品粘附在刮铲上,且可以很容易地施用到牙齿上。刮铲包括从杆状物伸出的宽的、基本上平坦的施用表面,所述施用表面具有从其表面突出的多个突起部,其中突起部的长度大于其高度。
优选地,在与杆状物相对的端部的施用表面的边缘是弯曲的。
刮铲优选地由半柔性材料形成,使得施用表面可以自由地前后移动。更优选地,刮铲由弹性材料制成,最优选地,弹性材料是热弹性材料。
优选地,刮铲的施用表面垂直地延伸至杆状物的中心线。
优选地,刮铲上的突起部的长度小于突起部的高度。如果刮铲上的突起部的长度是突起部的宽度的至少5倍,更优选10倍,则这也是优选的。如果突起部是连续环的形式,则所述长度取为所述环的周长的距离。
在本发明的一个实施方案中,刮铲的突起部被布置成行,所述行基本上垂直于位于靠近杆状物的施用表面上的线。优选地,所述线垂直于杆状物。优选地,刮铲的突起部的数量为3至8个。优选地,在施用表面和杆状物之间存在边沿。
优选地,刮铲的突起部是肋的形式。
在第二实施方案中,刮铲的突起部是同心环的形式。
本发明的组合物优选为具有6000至100000mPas、更优选10至60000mPas、最优选15至40,000mPas的稳态粘度的精华的形式。粘度应在25℃下,使用布氏(Brookfield)粘度计测量,其带有Helipath支架和T-棒,TB转子,转速为5rpm。进行测量的样品罐的最小直径为5厘米,并且最小高度为10厘米。粘度值应自测量开始60秒记录。在本发明的上下文中,稳态粘度是指粘度在储存时没有显著变化;这通常发生在组合物生产后3周或更长的时间后。
根据本发明的组合物通常含有水性连续相。基于组合物的总重量,水的量一般在40重量%至89重量%的范围内,更优选在50重量%至70重量%的范围内。
优选地,根据本发明的组合物将进一步包含保湿剂。基于组合物的总重量,保湿剂的量一般在10重量%至50重量%的范围内,更优选在15重量%至40重量%的范围内。以上述含量存在的优选保湿剂包括多元醇,特别优选的是山梨糖醇、甘油及其混合物。
优选的是,组合物包含胶(gum),更优选结冷胶和/或黄原胶。特别优选的是所述胶是黄原胶。优选的是,黄原胶的含量为组合物总量的0.05重量%至1.2重量%,更优选0.1重量%至1.0重量%。
优选地,所述组合物包含缓解牙齿敏感性的成分,用于这种效果的优选成分是水合二氧化硅。优选地,水合二氧化硅的平均粒径低于15μm,更优选地低于10μm,最优选地为1至6μm。优选的是,上述水合二氧化硅以组合物总量的1重量%至10重量%,更优选以组合物总量的3重量%至8重量%的含量存在。
本发明的组合物可以包含选自柠檬酸盐、乳酸盐或氯化物的钾盐,优选地,金属盐是柠檬酸盐。优选钾盐,特别是柠檬酸钾盐的含量为组合物总量的1重量%至10重量%,更优选为组合物总量的2重量%至5重量%。这些盐有助于防止牙科过敏。
缓解牙齿敏感性的另一种试剂是HAP(羟基磷灰石钙)。HAP的含量优选为组合物总量的0.5重量%至10重量%,更优选为组合物总量的1重量%至8重量%。
本发明的组合物包含锌盐,优选硫酸锌、柠檬酸锌或氯化锌,更优选硫酸锌。锌盐的含量优选为配制物总量的0.05重量%至1.0重量%,更优选为0.1重量%至0.5重量%。
优选的是组合物总量中乙醇的含量小于0.1重量%。
本发明的组合物可以包含防腐剂。优选的防腐剂是苯甲酸钠,更优选由乙基己基甘油、苯氧乙醇和苄醇形成的体系。优选地,在所述混合体系的情况下,防腐剂的含量为组合物总量的0.5重量%至2重量%。该含量是指防腐剂体系的总含量。
优选的是,组合物在25℃下的pH值为5.6至8.0,更优选6.0至7.5。
本发明的组合物可以包含沉积助剂。在本发明的上下文中,术语“沉积助剂”通常指有助于沉积来自组合物的缓解牙齿敏感性的试剂的材料。
在本发明的上下文中,使用该组合物通常涉及通过使用上述施用器将该组合物施用到牙齿上。
适用于本发明中的沉积助剂一般在25℃的温度下将溶解或分散在水中。
本发明中使用的优选的沉积助剂是水溶性的。在本发明的特定上下文中,术语“水溶性”通常指沉积助剂在25℃下具有至少10g/L的水溶解度,更优选在25℃下具有至少30g/L的水溶解度(其中溶解度是在未缓冲的蒸馏水中确定的)。特别优选的是,沉积助剂在干燥后保持水溶性,从而可以再溶解。这防止了在重复使用组合物后牙齿上沉积助剂的不期望的积累。
适用于本发明的沉积助剂包括聚合物材料,优选为如上定义的水溶性的聚合物材料。
在本发明中用作沉积助剂的聚合物材料可为天然的或合成地衍生的,并且在性质上可为离子的或非离子的。
此类聚合物材料优选为高分子量的。在本发明的特定上下文中,术语“高分子量”通常是指聚合物材料具有至少50,000g/mol,更优选至少500,000g/mol的分子量。确定此种聚合物材料的分子量的合适的方法为依靠聚乙二醇标准的凝胶渗透色谱法。
在本发明中用作沉积助剂的聚合物材料的适宜类别的具体实例包括:
特征在于具有通式H(OCH2CH2)nOH的氧化乙烯的水溶性的、高分子量线性均聚物。这些材料通常命名为聚乙烯氧化物(或者,聚氧乙烯或聚乙二醇)。在所述通式中,n通常具有至少2000,优选至少50,000的平均值。
水溶性、高分子量纤维素醚,诸如甲基纤维素、羟乙基纤维素、羟丙基纤维素、羟丙基甲基纤维素、羟丁基甲基纤维素、羟乙基乙基纤维素、羧甲基纤维素钠和羧甲基羟乙基纤维素钠。
在本发明中用作沉积助剂的聚合物材料的优选类别包括沿聚合物主链具有阴离子侧基的水溶性、高分子量聚合物。
此类材料的具体实例包括聚(羧酸)聚合物。聚(羧酸)聚合物为典型的在其结构中包含-COOH基团,或衍生自-COOH基团的基团,诸如盐、酯或酐基团的聚合物。
例如,聚(羧酸)聚合物可以在其结构中包括:

单元,其中R1选自氢、C1-3烷基、C1-3烷氧基或C1-3羟烷基。优选地,R1是氢。
优选类型的聚(羧酸)聚合物在其结构中包括相邻的:

单元(和/或此类单元的盐或酯,或酸酐形式的此类单元,其中相邻碳原子上的-COOH基团被环化形成环体系),其中R1、R2、R3、R4、R5和R6分别独立地选自氢、C1-3烷基或C1-3烷氧基。优选地,R1和R2为氢,R3为氢且R4为甲氧基,并且R5和R6为氢。
此类聚合物的特别优选的实例在其结构中包括:

单元,其中-COOH基团是游离酸形式的。此类聚合物可以是线性的或交联的。更优选地,所述聚合物是线性的。该类聚合物可例如以商品名S商购获得。最优选的是,此类聚合物的分子量为至少500,000g/mol(例如,S-96),理想地为至少1,000,000g/mol(例如,S-97)。
可以使用的其他替代聚合物包括如上所述的部分盐形式的单元,例如其中一些游离-COOH基团被转化成I族或II族金属的金属盐,例如钠或钙,或混合的钠钙盐。此类聚合物可以商品名MS,例如MS-955商购获得。
也可以使用任何上述材料的混合物。
基于组合物的总重量,按沉积助剂(如上所述)的总重量计,本发明的组合物中的沉积助剂(如上所述)的量的适当范围为0.001重量%至5.0重量%,优选为0.005重量%至4.0重量%,更优选为0.01重量%至2.0重量%。
组合物可包含基于组合物总重量的低含量的表面活性剂。如果存在,表面活性剂优选以低于组合物总量的3重量%的含量存在,更优选以组合物总量的0.2重量%至2重量%的含量存在,最优选以组合物总量的0.5重量%至1.5重量%的含量存在。
合适的表面活性剂包括阴离子表面活性剂,例如如下物质的钠、镁、铵或乙醇胺盐:C8至C18烷基硫酸盐(例如月桂基硫酸钠)、C8至C18烷基磺基琥珀酸盐(例如磺基琥珀酸二辛基钠)、C8至C18烷基磺基乙酸盐(例如月桂基磺基乙酸钠)、C8至C18烷基肌氨酸盐(诸如月桂基肌氨酸钠)、C8至C18烷基磷酸盐(其任选地包含不多于10个氧乙烯和/或氧丙烯单元)以及硫酸化单甘油酯。
其他合适的表面活性剂包括非离子表面活性剂,诸如任选的聚乙氧基化的脂肪酸山梨醇酯、乙氧基化脂肪酸、聚乙二醇酯、聚乙二醇醚、脂肪酸单甘油酯和二甘油酯的乙氧基化物以及环氧乙烷/环氧丙烷嵌段聚合物。其他合适的表面活性剂包括两性表面活性剂,诸如甜菜碱或磺基甜菜碱。也可以使用任何上述材料的混合物。特别优选的是Steareth30,一种聚乙二醇醚。
本发明的组合物还可以包含本领域惯用的其他可选成分,诸如氟离子源、抗结石剂、缓冲剂、调味剂、甜味剂、着色剂、不透明剂、其他抗敏剂和抗微生物剂。

Claims (14)
