EXAMPLE III
As shown in fig. 7 and 8, the developing cartridge 31 according to the third embodiment of the present invention includes a cartridge body 32, a photosensitive element 33, rotating wheels 34, studs 35 and a developing element (not shown), the rotating wheels 34 are provided at the ends of the photosensitive element 33 for supporting the photosensitive element 33 at both ends of the cartridge body 32, the studs 35 are provided on the cartridge body 32 and formed into bodies with the cartridge body 32, the image forming apparatus includes an upper guide rail 311 and a guide rail 312, and the guide rail 312 includes an arc portion 312a bent downward.
When the developing cartridge is mounted to the image forming apparatus, as shown in fig. 7, the rotary wheel 34 and the post 35 on the cartridge body 32 slide along the upper guide rail 311 and the guide rail 312, and the photosensitive element 33 and the developing element in the developing cartridge 31 are in a non-contact state.
When the developing cartridge 31 is mounted to a prescribed position on the image forming apparatus (as shown by the broken line in fig. 8), the cartridge body 32 is rotated in the direction of the illustrated arrow, the post 35 is rotated along the arc-shaped portion 312a on the guide rail 312, and reaches the final position (as shown by the solid line in fig. 8), at which time the cartridge body 32 is rotated by the angle R, and the rotary wheel 34 is not rotated because it is restricted by the upper guide rail 311 and the guide rail 312, and since the rotational center of the rotary wheel 34 is eccentric from the rotational center of the photosensitive element 33 (as in embodiment or two), when the cartridge body 32 is rotated by the angle R, the photosensitive element 33 in the developing cartridge 31 approaches the developing element and is in contact with the developing element.

As shown in fig. 9, during the mounting of the developing cartridge to the image forming apparatus, the rotary wheel 44 and the post 45 slide along the horizontal portion while the photosensitive member 43 and the developing member (not shown in the figure) are in a non-contact state.
When the rotary wheel 44 reaches the guide inclined portion 413 along the guide horizontal portion 414 (as shown in fig. 10), the rotary wheel 44 rotates with an angular difference R1 between the rotation angle and the rotation angle of the cartridge body, and the photosensitive element 43 comes into contact with the developing element, and the developing cartridge starts to operate in the image forming apparatus.
When the developing cartridge is detached from the inclined portion 413 on the image forming apparatus, the developing cartridge is returned from the state shown in fig. 10 to the state shown in fig. 9, at which time the photosensitive member is returned to the initial state, and the photosensitive member and the developing member are returned to the non-contact state.
