Abstract

本发明提供一种倍速重放用的控制磁头跟踪的方法及其装置。
倍速重放时的跟踪控制装置设有产生跟踪误差信号的单元和控制主导轴马达驱动的微计算机;依据跟踪误差信号的特定值与用户键入所改变的基准导频信号值的比较控制磁带的传送,从而可以显示出用户所期望的2倍速重放画面。

Description

倍速重放时的跟踪控制方法及其装置
本发明涉及8mm磁带录像机的倍速重放,特别是涉及控制倍速重放磁头跟踪的方法及其装置。
以与记录速度不同的速度重放磁带上所记录的信号的装置在Furuhata等人的1986年2月4日公开的美国专利US 4,568,986"磁带录像机的可变速重放控制器"中已有所记载。在这种现有技术中,具有四种各不相同频率的导频信号被周期性并重复地选择记录在磁带的连续磁迹上,按照已经设定的顺序连续产生具有与所记录的导频信号相同频率的各个局部导频信号,局部导频频率对从磁带上所重放出的导频信号进行频率变换,如果检测出所得到的差频信号的大小,伺服控制就把所检出的差频信号的频率保持一定。图1所示的是就本申请人所知类似于美国专利US 4,568,986的使用四种导频信号的现有技术。
图1的跟踪控制装置是8mm磁带录像机的跟踪控制装置,它采用的是用磁带上所记录的各条磁迹上的四种导频信号来调节磁头跟踪的自动磁迹搜索(称为ATF)方式。
如图2所示,图1的装置中所使用的导频信号被周期性并重复地记录在连续的磁迹上,而且是被记录在与视频信息重叠的各条磁迹上。导频信号的各个频率的值分别是f1=102.5KHz,f2=118.9KHz,f3=165.2KHz,f4=148.6KHz,而且,相邻磁迹间的导频信号的频差大约是16KHz或46KHz,即:f2-f1≈f4-f3≈16KHz,f4-f1≈f3-f2≈46KHz。根据图2A至图2E对8mm方式的磁带录像机2倍速重放情况下的图1装置的动作说明如下。
用图2B的磁头切换信号(HEAD-AWP)使两个磁头交替动作,即:磁头切换信号(HEAD-SWP)在高电平脉冲区间内,磁头A动作;磁头切换信号(HEAD-SWP)在低电平脉冲区间内,磁头B动作。磁头B是通常2倍速重放用的多功能磁头;并被设置在磁鼓(未示出)上与磁头A大致相对的位置。磁头B具有与磁头A相同的方位角特性。在正常2倍速重放时,磁头按图2所示的状态在磁带上寻迹,因此,如图2D所示,磁头A读出具有频率成分"f4,f1,f2"的重放导频信号(PB-PILOT),磁头B读出具有频率成分"f2,f3,f4"的重放导频信号(PB-PILOT)。由磁头从磁带上读取的重放导频信号(PB-PILOT)被送到ATF集成电路11,这时,微计算机13产生如图2C所示的基准导频信号IREF-PILOT),即:重放导频信号(PB-PILOT)的频率成分为"f4,f3,f2"时,微计算机13产生频率为"f1"的基准导频信号(REF-PILOT),重放导频信号(PB-PILOT)的频率成分为"f2,f3,f4"时,微计算机13产生频率为"f2"的基准导频信号(REF-PILOT)。这个基准导频信号(REF-PILOT)不管进行2倍速重放期间信号的频率,它有一定的电压基准电平VREF,并被送到ATF集成电路11。ATF集成电路11检测基准导频信号(REF-PILOT)的频率值和进入重放导频信号(PB_PILOT)中的频率成分之间的差值,并产生表示所检出的频差值的定量比率的跟踪误差信号(ATF-ER)。
更具体讲,如果把含有频率成分"f4,f1,f2"的重放导频信号(PB-PILOT)和频率为"f"的基准导频信号(REF-PILOT)加到ATF集成电路11的话,检测出频差值"0KHz,16KHz,46KHz";如果把含有频率成分"f2,f3,f4"的重放导频信号(PB-PILOT)和频率为"f3"的基准导频信号(REF-PILOT)加到ATF集成电路11的话,检测出频差值"46KHz,16KHz,0KHz"。
当所检出的频差值为16KHz的情况下,ATF集成电路11产生具有比已经设定的基准电平VREF小的值的跟踪误差信号(ATF-ER);所检出的频差值为46KHz的情况下,ATF集成电路11产生具有比已经设定的基准电平VREF大的值的跟踪误差信号(ATF-ER)。通过磁头A读取的重放导频信号(PB-PILOT)有频率成分f4,f1的情况下,ATF集成电路11产生跟踪误差信号(ATF-ER),其值是由含频率成分f4的信号量和含频率成分f1的信号量之间的比率所决定的值。以基准电平VREF为2.5V的情况为例的图2E上表示了由ATF集成电路11所产生的跟踪误差信号(ATF-ER)。
微计算机13根据由ATF集成电路11所施加的跟踪误差信号(ATF-ER)来控制主轴马达15的驱动,更详细地说,如果微计算机13加上跟踪误差信号(ATF-ER),就在图2E所示的取样位置上对跟踪误差信号(ATF-ER)取样,在这里,图2E所示的取样位置是磁头切换信号(HEAD-SWP)的各脉冲的中间位置。当取样的值不同于基准电平VREF时,微计算机13控制主导轴马达15的驱动,使所检测到的值成为与基准电平VREF相同的值。图1的装置的这个动作能正确地进行2倍速重放的磁带的传送。
但是,所存在的问题是,由于磁带使用的次数多而使磁带的录像状态不好,或者重放时在所使用的录像机的性能不好的情况下,重放画面上显示的图象就不是用户所期望的高质量的图象。
因此,本发明的目的是为解决上述的问题,而提供一种由观众用户键入来控制磁头跟踪从而显示用户所期望的高质量图象的方法。
为实现本发明的上述目的,磁头跟踪控制中使用周期性且重复地记录在磁带的连续磁迹上的导频信号的磁带录像机的倍速重放用的磁头跟踪方法包括如下步骤:
(a)产生具有已设定值的基准导频信号;(b)用前述的磁头跟踪从前述磁带上所重放的导频信号和由步骤(a)所产生的基准导频信号产生跟踪误差信号;(c)在已设定的取样位置上对步骤(b)所产生的跟踪误差信号进行取样,得到跟踪误差值;(d)通过用户的键入来施加使相对于按倍速重放的速度传送的磁带的磁头跟踪位置移动的磁迹移动信号;(e)根据从前述步骤(d)所施加的跟踪移动信号改变基准导频信号的值;(f)控制前述磁带的传送使前述步骤(c)得到的跟踪误差值和前述步骤(e)所改变的基准导频信号值为同样值。
为实现本发明的其他目的,磁头跟踪控制中使用周期性重复地记录在磁带的连续磁迹上的导频信号的磁带录像机的倍速重放的磁头跟踪控制装置包括:主导轴马达;用磁头的前述磁带跟踪从前述磁带上重放的导频信号和基准导频信号产生跟踪误差信号的误差信号产生装置;根据用户的键入而产生使相对磁带倍速重放时的磁头跟踪位置移动的磁迹移动信号的键入器;以及控制前述主导轴马达旋转的控制器。产生前述跟踪误差信号发生时所用的基准导频信号,然后送到前述误差信号产生装置,根据前述键入器所产生的磁迹移动信号改变产生跟踪误差信号时所用的基准导频信号值,然后由控制器用前述误差信号产生装置所供给的跟踪误差信号使在已设定的取样位置取样的跟踪误差值和改变后的基准导频信号值相同。

以下根据图3至图6C详述具体实现本发明的一个实施例。
图3是表示按照本发明的倍速重放时的跟踪控制装置的构成图,图4是说明图3的装置的动作的流程图。
图3的装置的构成是在图1的装置上附加一个键入器17,图3的装置包含有一个根据由键入器17输入的用户键入信号进行动作的改形微计算机19。图5A表示磁头从图2A的正常2倍速重放时的跟踪位置寻址于相对开头的跟踪位置的情况;图6A表示磁头从图2A的正常2倍速重放时的跟踪位置寻址于相对迟后的跟踪位置的情况。
图4中,为进行2倍速重放,微计算机19控制主导轴马达15(图4的步骤101),把为用磁带重放出的导频信号产生跟踪误差信号的基准导频信号的基准电平X定为2.5V的电压值,然后输入到ATF集成电路11(步骤102)。如关于图2B对磁头的说明,根据图5B所示的磁头切换信号(HEAD-SWP)动作,通过磁头跟踪运行的磁带所读取的图象信号经显示器(未示出)显示出来,因此,用户可以根据显示的图像信号来操作键入器17,微计算机19判断来自键入器17的磁迹移动信号是否是磁头要从当前跟踪的磁迹去跟踪开头的磁迹的第1磁迹移动信号(步骤103),如果在步骤103判断为是第1磁迹移动信号,微计算机19就把对应于第1磁迹移动信号的值(α)加到已设定的基准电平X上,定出新的基准电平(X+α)(步骤104)。
若把用有关图1的装置所说明的方法产生的跟踪误差信号(ATF-ER)加到微计算机19,微计算机19就在已设定的取样位置即磁头切换信号(HEAD-SWP)的各个脉冲的中间位置对跟踪误差信号(ATF-ER)取样,而得到跟踪误差值(步骤107)。微计算机19判断在步骤107所得到的跟踪误差值是否与基准电平(X+α)相同(步骤108),若在步骤108判断为不是相同值,微计算机19就使取样所得到的跟踪差值变得与基准电平(X+α)一样,来控制主导轴马达15的驱动。
相反,如果在步骤108判断为相同值,微计算机19就回到步骤103再向下进行。如图5C所示,这种控制使跟踪误差值具有大于2.5V基准电平VREF的电平(例如2.6V),而且,与图2A相比可知,这时的图5A中的箭头所示的磁头跟踪位置相对超前一点。
另一方面,如果在步骤103判断为未加上第1磁迹移动信号,微计算机19判断第2磁迹移动信号是否已加上(步骤105),如果在步骤105判断为已加上第2磁迹移动信号,微计算机19就从已设定的基准电平X中减去第2磁迹移动信号所对应的值(β),而决定出新的基准电平(X-β)(步骤106),微计算机19在已设定的取样位置对跟踪误差信号9ATF-ER)取样而得到跟踪误差值(步骤107),微计算机19判断在步骤107所得到的跟踪误差值是否与基准电平(X-β)相同(步骤108),如果在步骤108判定为不是同一值,微计算机19就使取样所得到的跟踪误差值变得与基准电平(X-β)一样,来控制主导轴马达15的驱动。
相反,如果在步骤108判断为相同值,微计算机19就回到步骤103再向下进行。如图6C所示,这种控制使跟踪误差值具有小于2.5V基准电平VREF的电平(例如2.4V),而且,与图21A相比可知,这时的图6A中的箭头所示的磁头跟踪位置相对迟后一点。
如上所述,本发明可以在8mm磁带录像机那样的用导频信号自动寻迹***中由观众用户的键入来自如地移动磁头跟踪磁迹的位置而显示用户所期望的2倍重放画面。

Claims (8)

1.一种磁带录像机用的倍速重放的磁头跟踪控制装置,使用周期性且重复地记录在磁带的连续的磁迹上的导频信号以进行跟踪控制,它包括:
主导轴马达;
误差信号产生装置,通过所述磁头的跟踪用从所述磁带上重放的导频信号和基准导频信号产生跟踪误差信号;
键入器,根据用户的键入而产生使对用倍速重放的速度而传送的磁带的磁头跟踪位置移动的磁迹移动信号的;和
控制器,用于产生所述跟踪误差信号发生时所用的基准导频信号,并将该信号送到所述误差信号产生装置,根据所述键入器所产生的磁迹移动信号改变跟踪误差信号发生时所用的基准导频信号值,再由控制器用所述误差信号产生装置所供给的跟踪误差信号使在已设定的取样位置取样的跟踪误差值和改变后的基准导频信号值相同,以控制所述主导轴马达的旋转。
2.根据权利要求1的倍速重放的磁头跟踪控制装置,其特征在于,所述已设定的取样位置处于各个可能使磁头动作的磁头切换脉冲的中间位置。
3.根据权利要求1的倍速重放的磁头跟踪控制装置,其特征在于,所述控制器判断来自所述键入器的磁迹移动信号是否为在磁头当前跟踪的磁迹之前去跟踪磁迹的第1磁迹移动信号,如判断为第1磁迹移动信号时,所述控制器把基准导频信号值增加已设定的值,并把磁头跟踪位置沿超前方向移动已设定的值所对应的距离,从而控制所述主导轴马达的驱动。
4,根据权利要求3的倍速重放的磁头跟踪控制装置,其特征在于,所述控制器当判断为不是所述第1磁迹移动信号时,则判断是否为要磁头跟踪当前的磁迹的滞后磁迹的第2磁迹移动信号,当判断为第2磁迹移动信号时,所述控制器把基准导频信号值减少已设定的值,并把磁头跟踪位置沿滞后方向移动已设定的值所对应的距离,从而控制前述主导轴马达的驱动。
5.一种磁带录像机的倍速重放用的磁头跟踪控制方法,使用周期性且重复地记录在磁带的连续的磁迹上的导频信号以进行跟踪控制,其特征在于,该方法包括如下步骤:
(a)产生具有已设定值的基准导频信号;
(b)用前的磁头跟踪从前述磁带上所重放的导频信号和由步骤(a)所产生的基准导频信号产生跟踪误差信号;
(c)在已设定的取样位置上对步骤(b)所产生的跟踪误差信号进行取样,而得到跟踪误差值;
(d)通过用户的键入来施加使相对于按倍速重放的速度传送的磁带的磁头跟踪位置移动的磁迹移动信号;
(e)根据从前述步骤(d)所施加的跟踪移动信号改变基准导频信号的值;
(f)控制前述磁带的传送使前述步骤(c)得到的跟踪误差值和前述步骤(e)所改变的基准导频信号值为同样值。
6.根据权利要求5的倍速重放用的磁头跟踪控制方法,其特征在于,所述已设定的取样位置处于各个可能使磁头动作的磁头切换脉冲的中间位置。
7.根据权利要求5的倍速重放用的磁头跟踪控制方法,其特征在于,在所述步骤(d)所施加磁迹移动信号是要使磁头跟踪领先于当前跟踪磁迹的磁迹的情况下,所述步骤(f)包含使基准频信号值增加已设定值的步骤(fa1),以及控制磁带的传送使磁头跟踪位置沿超前方向移动已设定的值所对应的距离的步骤(fa2)。
8.根据权利要求5的倍速重放用的磁头跟踪控制方法,其特征在于,在所述步骤(d)所施加磁迹移动信号是要使磁头跟踪滞后于当前跟踪磁迹的磁迹的情况下,所述步骤(f)包含使基准导频信号值减少已设定值的步骤(fb1),以及控制磁带的传送使磁头跟踪位置沿滞后方向移动已设定的值所对应的距离的步骤(fb2)。
