Although the use of a tractor can properly alleviate the problem of high energy consumption, a full-time driver needs to be equipped, and meanwhile, the daily maintenance of the tractor also needs to be equipped, and the weight of tens of tons of tractor consumes a large amount of fuel.
Aircraft designers have proposed a more efficient method of propelling an aircraft on the ground, i.e., directly driving the wheels of the aircraft to propel the aircraft. The idea points out the direction to solve the problem, but a series of practical problems still need to be solved in the application. If the taxi system does not require the original structure of the airplane to be changed, the use of the taxi system does not damage the structure of the airplane.
Patent CN 103879564 a shows a wheel driving tool, which is beneficial to pressing the roller wheel on the wheel by its own weight, and driving the roller wheel by a power device and driving the wheel to rotate. The problem that the wheel additionally wears and the gyro wheel skids and loses power exists in this instrument in use, in addition, use this instrument and need install special couple additional to the undercarriage, be unfavorable for the popularization.
Therefore, an airline needs to provide a simple and efficient device for driving the airplane to slide without changing the original structure of the airplane, and the system is simple, cheap, convenient to maintain and free of adverse effects on the airplane.
