Various exemplary embodiments, features and aspects of the present disclosure will be described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings. In the drawings, like reference numbers can indicate functionally identical or similar elements. While the various aspects of the embodiments are presented in drawings, the drawings are not necessarily drawn to scale unless specifically indicated.
The word "exemplary" is used exclusively herein to mean "serving as an example, embodiment, or illustration. Any embodiment described herein as "exemplary" is not necessarily to be construed as preferred or advantageous over other embodiments.
Furthermore, in the following detailed description, numerous specific details are set forth in order to provide a better understanding of the present disclosure. It will be understood by those skilled in the art that the present disclosure may be practiced without some of these specific details. In some instances, methods, means, elements and circuits that are well known to those skilled in the art have not been described in detail so as not to obscure the present disclosure.
Fig. 1 shows a flow chart of a video playing method according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. As shown in fig. 1, the method may be applied to a terminal device. The video playing method may include step S11 and step S12.
In step S11, key information related to the video is detected during playing of the video.
In this embodiment, the key information related to the video may be any content contained in the video picture, for example, information such as characters, logos, and images in the video picture. For example, the key information may be a head portrait, a half-body portrait, a whole body portrait, etc. of a person, an animal, or a cartoon character in the video picture. The key information related to the video may also be information related to the content of the video, but not displayed in the video. The present disclosure is not so limited. Key information related to the video can be detected in real time in the process of playing the video; key information related to the video may also be detected before the user begins playing the video. The present disclosure does not limit the time at which critical information detection is performed.
In this embodiment, the terminal device may be any device, such as a mobile phone, a tablet computer, a smart watch, a vehicle-mounted terminal, an MP3 player, a VR (Virtual Reality) Head Display, VR glasses, an AR (Augmented Reality) Head Display, AR glasses, an MR (Mixed Reality) Head Display, MR glasses, a HUD (Head Up Display), or a smart television, and the disclosure is not limited thereto. The device has the function of displaying video, audio or other content related to human vision, hearing, smell, touch and taste. The user can directly operate the video playing interface through fingers to control the playing of the video. The playing of the video can be controlled by auxiliary control devices such as a handle and a mouse. The user may also control the playing of the video through the eye spirit, idea (e.g., brain wave), gesture, etc. with the aid of the related devices, which is not limited by the present disclosure.
In step S12, when the key information is detected, the key information is highlighted in the video screen.
In this embodiment, the manner of highlighting the key information in the video picture may include: enhancing the display effect of the region corresponding to the key information in the video picture, wherein the display effect of the region except the region corresponding to the key information in the video picture is unchanged; reducing the display effect of the areas except the area corresponding to the key information in the video picture, wherein the display effect of the area corresponding to the key information in the video picture is unchanged; and enhancing the display effect of the region corresponding to the key information in the video picture, and reducing the display effect of the region other than the region corresponding to the key information in the video picture, so as to achieve the purpose of highlighting the key information.
Fig. 2 shows a flowchart of step S11 in a video playing method according to an embodiment of the present disclosure.
In one possible implementation, as shown in fig. 2, step S11 may further include step S111 and step S112.
In step S111, in the process of playing the video, it is determined whether the playing of the video satisfies the trigger condition for highlighting.
In step S112, key information related to the video is detected when the trigger condition is satisfied.
In this implementation, when the playing speed of the video is greater than a normal or regular playing speed, for example, the user plays the video in fast-forward at 1.5 times, 2 times, 4 times, etc., the user may not be able to clearly view and determine the content contained in the video picture. At this time, the detected key information may be highlighted in the video frame to increase the amount of information in the video received by the user, so that the user may also know the specific content included in the video frame when the playing speed is fast.
In this implementation, for example, the playing speed of the video may be obtained, and then it is determined whether the playing of the video matches the trigger condition for highlighting based on the playing speed. The trigger condition may be set according to the content contained in the video picture and the user viewing speed corresponding thereto. When the user can clearly view and determine the content contained in the video picture, the speed of playing the video is the user viewing speed. For example, in a case where the playing speed of the video exceeds the user viewing speed, it may be determined that the playing of the video satisfies the trigger condition for highlighting the key information.
In one possible implementation, in the case where the key information has been highlighted in the video screen, if the playback of the video shifts from the case where the highlight trigger condition is satisfied to the case where the highlight trigger condition is not satisfied, the highlight key information is held for the hold display time or the highlight key information is stopped in the video screen. The holding display time may be set according to the complexity of the content corresponding to the key information, and the more complex the content is, the longer the holding time is. The present disclosure is not so limited.
Fig. 3 shows a flowchart of step S111 in a video playing method according to an embodiment of the present disclosure.
In one possible implementation, as shown in fig. 3, step S111 may include step S1111 and step S1112.
In step S1111, it is determined whether the playback speed of the video exceeds a speed threshold.
In this implementation, the speed threshold may be determined according to the complexity of the content contained in the video frame and the viewing speed of the user for the content with different complexity, and the speed threshold may be greater than the normal playing speed of the playing video. The more and more complicated the content contained in the video picture, the slower the speed of reading and understanding by the user, and the smaller the value of the speed threshold. For example, the speed threshold for a more content video may be set to 1.5 times the normal play speed; the speed threshold for the less content video is set to 2.5 times the normal play speed. It should be understood that the value of the speed threshold may also be a fixed value set in advance, or a value set by the user, and the specific value of the speed threshold is not limited in this disclosure.
In step S1112, when the playback speed of the video exceeds the speed threshold, it is determined that the playback of the video satisfies the trigger condition for highlighting.
In this implementation manner, when the playing speed of the video exceeds the speed threshold, the key information in the video picture can be highlighted for the user, and the user can also know the specific content contained in the video picture under the condition that the playing speed of the video is relatively high.
Fig. 4 shows a flowchart of step S12 in a video playing method according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. As shown in fig. 4, step S12 may further include step S121 and step S122.
In step S121, the related information corresponding to the key information related to the video picture is determined.
In this embodiment, the specific content characterized by the key information may be determined according to the associated information corresponding to the key information. For example, in the case where the key information is a character avatar related to a video picture, the associated information of the key information may include information such as a name of a role played by the character avatar in the video, whether the played role is a hero, and the like; information of actors such as real names of actors whose characters head-portrait plays in the video may also be included. Those skilled in the art can set the associated information corresponding to the key information according to actual needs, and the disclosure does not limit this.
In step S122, in a case where the associated information matches the historical behavior of the user, key information corresponding to the related information is highlighted in the video screen.
In the present embodiment, the user's historical behavior may be determined from the user's browsing history, retrieval history, and the like. For example, if it is determined that a user is a faithful audience of actor a according to the historical behavior of the user, and if it is detected that the video picture contains the avatar of actor a during the playing of the video by the user, the avatar of actor a can be determined as key information matching the historical behavior of the user, and the avatar of actor a can be highlighted in the video picture. The method for acquiring the historical behavior of the user can be set by a person skilled in the art according to actual needs, and the disclosure does not limit this.
Fig. 5 shows a schematic diagram of a video playing method according to an embodiment of the present disclosure.
In one possible implementation, as shown in fig. 5, the highlighting of the key information in the video picture in step S12 may include: and covering a floating layer on the video picture, wherein the floating layer is transparent in a region 1 corresponding to the key information, and the other regions 2 are non-transparent or semitransparent.
In this implementation manner, the other areas 2 in the floating layer may be processed by filling color, pattern, and the like to increase the degree of prominence of the key information and remind the user of the content displayed by the key information. The transparency and filling manner of the other regions 2 in the floating layer can be set by those skilled in the art according to actual needs, and the disclosure does not limit this.
In one possible implementation, the highlighting of the key information in the video picture in step S12 may further include: performing at least one of the following processing on the area except the area where the key information is located on the video picture: mosaic adding, frame drawing, cutting, deleting, blurring, graying, darkening, and blackening.
In this implementation, fig. 6 shows a schematic diagram of a video playing method according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. As shown in fig. 6, the brightness of the area 3 other than the area where the avatar is located can be darkened. In this way, the attention of the user to the area 3 except the area where the avatar is located can be reduced, and the attention of the user to the avatar can be further improved, so that the user can determine whether multimedia resources such as a movie and a television corresponding to the avatar are interesting content based on the avatar.
In one possible implementation, the highlighting of the key information in the video picture in step S12 may further include: the area of the video picture where the key information is located may be subjected to at least one of the following processes: highlighting the area where the key information is located; improving the chroma of the area where the key information is located; amplifying the area where the key information is displayed; the method comprises the following steps of (1) enabling; dynamically displaying the area where the key information is located; and adding a frame to the area where the key information is located.
In this embodiment, when the video picture includes a plurality of pieces of key information, the processing performed on the area of each piece of key information in the video picture may be the same or different. For example, a video picture includes four key pieces of information: key information 1-1, key information 1-2, key information 1-3, and key information 1-4. Borders can be added to the areas where the key information 1-1, the key information 1-2, the key information 1-3 and the key information 1-4 are located. Fig. 7 shows a schematic diagram of a video playing method according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. As shown in fig. 7, the areas where the key information 1-1 and the key information 1-4 are located may be highlighted, the area where the key information 1-2 is located may be enlarged and displayed, and a frame may be added to the area where the key information 1-3 is located. It should be understood that the manner of highlighting the area where the key information is located may be set by those skilled in the art according to actual needs, and the present disclosure is not limited thereto.
In this embodiment, the highlighted brightness, the enlarged scale of the area where the key information is located, the color of the added frame, and the like may be set according to the information such as the color and brightness of the video picture and the actual needs of the user, and the disclosure is not limited herein.
The area where the key information is referred to herein may be any shape area containing the key information, such as a circular area, a polygonal area, and the like, which is not limited by the present disclosure.
Fig. 8 shows a flowchart of a video playing method according to an embodiment of the present disclosure.
In one possible implementation, the key information may include a product image associated with the video. As shown in fig. 8, highlighting key information in the video picture in step S12 may further include step S123 and step S124.
In step S123, the product image is added to the video based on the addition time interval.
In this implementation, the product image associated with the video may be the trademark, name, manufacturer, etc. of the product related to the video frame, which describe the basic information of the product. For example, if the video is an advertisement for a certain car N, then the product image associated with the video may be the logo (or trademark) of car N. The adding time interval can be set according to video information such as the playing time of the video, the residual playing time of the video, the characteristics of the video and the like. The shorter the adding time interval is, the more product images are added in the video, and the more obvious the highlighting effect is, the more attention can be attracted to the user. For example, in the case where the playback time of the video is less than one minute, the product image is added to the video every 10 seconds.
In step S124, the video to which the product image is added is played.
In this way, adding the product image associated with the video as a video frame to the video may highlight the product image, leaving a deeper impression to the user.
Application example
An application example according to the embodiment of the present disclosure is given below in conjunction with "play video M" as an exemplary application scenario to facilitate understanding of the flow of the video playing method. It is to be understood by those skilled in the art that the following application examples are for the purpose of facilitating understanding of the embodiments of the present disclosure only and are not to be construed as limiting the embodiments of the present disclosure.
Example 1:
in the process of playing the video M by a certain user a, it is determined whether the playing speed of the video M exceeds a speed threshold, for example, the speed threshold is 2 times the speed of the playing video. And determining the historical behavior of the user a and determining key information matched with the historical behavior of the user a under the condition that the playing speed of the video M exceeds 2 times of speed. For example, it is determined that user a likes actor O from the historical behavior of user a. The avatar of actor O in the video frame is determined as key information matching the historical behavior of user a. In the process of playing the video M, a frame is added to the area where the head portrait of the actor O is displayed in the video picture.
Fig. 9a and 9b are schematic diagrams illustrating an application scenario of a video playing method according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. As shown in fig. 9a, before playing a video according to the video playing method provided in this embodiment, in the process that a user plays a video M through some video client software, the video M is played in the interface only according to the playing speed selected by the user. In the prior art, in the process of playing the video M at a faster speed such as 2 times speed, the content in the video frame does not change, and the video M is only played at a fast speed along the playing speed selected by the user. However, due to the fast playing speed, the user is likely to miss the content of interest in the video M. After playing the video according to the video playing method provided in the present embodiment, as shown in fig. 9b, a frame is added to the head portrait of the actor O displayed in the video picture.
Therefore, under the condition that the video playing speed is high, the user a can also determine the content in the video picture through the head portrait of the highlighted actor O, so that the interested content is prevented from being missed, and the viewing time of the user is saved.
Example 2:
in the case where the video viewed by the user is an advertisement KK having a duration of 60 seconds, a brand of a product displayed by the advertisement KK is acquired, for example, the advertisement KK advertises a vehicle G. An image G ' of the emblem of the vehicle G is acquired, the image G ' is added to the advertisement KK every 10 seconds, for example, and the advertisement KK after the image G ' is added is played.
Fig. 10a and 10b are schematic diagrams illustrating an application scenario of a video playing method according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. Fig. 10a shows a plurality of video frames of the advertisement KK before the advertisement KK is played by using the video playing method provided in this embodiment. Fig. 10a shows a plurality of video frames of the advertisement KK containing the image G 'after the image G' is added to the advertisement KK when the advertisement KK is played by using the video playing method provided in this embodiment.
Thus, the attention of the user to the car logo of the vehicle G can be improved, and the user can remember the content of the advertisement more easily.
It should be noted that, although the video playing method is described as above by taking the above-mentioned embodiment as an example, those skilled in the art can understand that the present disclosure should not be limited thereto. In fact, the user can flexibly set each step according to personal preference and/or actual application scene, as long as the technical scheme of the disclosure is met.
According to the video playing method provided by the embodiment of the disclosure, in the process of playing the video, the detected key information related to the video is highlighted in the video picture.
