Description

Washing article nursing device with lye pump
Technical Field
The invention relates to a washing care appliance with an alkaline liquid pump.
Background
In conventional laundry care appliances, a laundry care substance (e.g. a detergent) is provided by the user into the wash-in housing of the laundry care appliance. Water is supplied to the rinsing housing via a water connection of the laundry care appliance, wherein the laundry care substance is rinsed out of the rinsing housing by the supplied water and is supplied to the lye container. In the event that the user incorrectly dispenses too much laundry care substance, the laundry care substance cannot be completely dissolved. It is possible that undissolved laundry care substances can damage the laundry to be treated in high concentrations.
In CN 202152418U a pump device for a washing machine having a foam generating tank for generating foam is disclosed. The device achieves rapid dissolution of liquid detergent by forming detergent foam.
Disclosure of Invention
The object of the present invention is to provide a laundry care appliance in which advantageous dissolution of the laundry care substance in the washing liquor is ensured.
According to one aspect, the object is achieved by a laundry care appliance having a lye container for receiving washing lye and a control device for controlling a lye pump, wherein the lye container comprises a discharge opening and an inlet opening, wherein the discharge opening is arranged below the inlet opening and is connected with the inlet opening via a pipeline, wherein a lye container is arranged in the line, wherein the control device is designed to activate the feed operation of the lye pump in a first time period, in order to pump washing lye from the lye container into the pipeline via the discharge opening up to the washing lye level (Waschlaugenpegel) in the pipeline, and, wherein the control device is configured to set a feed operation of the lye pump during a second time period following the first time period in order to feed wash lye from the pipeline back into the lye container via the discharge opening.
This achieves the technical advantage that by pumping out the washing lye from the lye container by the lye pump for a first period of time and subsequently conveying the pumped-out washing lye back into the lye container, an effective dissolution of undissolved residues of the laundry care substance in the washing lye is achieved. The advantageous dissolution of the laundry care substances is ensured by a strong convection (Konvektion) of the washing lye, which occurs when the washing lye actively flows through the lye pump, wherein the strong convection is caused in particular by the high flow speed of the washing lye on the pump impeller of the lye pump.
In conventional laundry care appliances, the laundry care substance flushed into the housing is dosed out by the user in advance. Water is flushed into the housing through a water connection of the laundry care appliance, and a mixture of laundry care substance and water is flushed as washing lye into the lye container through the injection line.
Here, the laundry care substance present in the washing liquor may not be completely dissolved as a result of incorrect dosing by the user, so that undissolved residues of the laundry care substance (for example, powdered detergent) may remain in the washing liquor. Possibly, undissolved residues of laundry care substances can cause discoloring damage at high concentrations on the laundry to be treated and are therefore to be avoided.
In the circulation pumping system in conventional laundry care appliances, the washing lye is pumped out of the lye container via the discharge opening by means of the lye pump. The lye pump conveys the washing lye in the pipeline and supplies it back to the lye container via the inlet opening. In conventional circulation pumping systems in washing appliances, it is customary to dispense with the lye container seal and to use an additional component (zussatzkomponen) which ensures: the washing lye flowing out of the discharge opening is pumped back into the lye container without being lost.
In the laundry care appliance according to the invention, the lye pump pumps out the washing lye from the lye container in a first time period until the washing lye pumped out has a washing lye level in the line. The conveyance interruption thus occurring prevents: the pumped-out washing lye is re-supplied to the lye container via the input opening during the first period of time. By interrupting the supply of washing lye into the lye container, it is prevented that: during the first time period, undissolved laundry care substances which may be present in the washing liquor come into contact with the laundry in the washing drum and may damage the laundry.
After the first time period has ended, the feed operation of the lye pump is set to be adjusted for a second time period, wherein the washing lye is fed back from the line via the discharge opening into the lye container again. Here, the level of washing lye in the line drops.
By pumping out and returning the washing lye during the first or second time period, the advantageous dissolution of the laundry care substance in the washing lye is promoted, whereby the washing lye of the laundry can be fed into the washing drum during the subsequent circulating pumping process without damage occurring on the laundry as a result of undissolved residues of the laundry care substance.
By laundry care appliance is understood an appliance for laundry care, for example a washing machine or a laundry dryer. By laundry care appliance is understood in particular a household laundry care appliance. Namely such laundry care appliances: the laundry care appliance is used in the domestic range and treats domestic amounts of laundry by means of the laundry care appliance.
In an advantageous embodiment of the laundry care appliance, the inlet opening is arranged at an inlet level on the lye container and the outlet opening is arranged at an outlet level on the lye container, wherein the level of washing lye in the line is between the inlet level and the outlet level.
Thereby, technical advantages are achieved, ensuring: during the first time period, the level of the washing lye does not rise above the input level, as otherwise the washing lye may be conveyed into the lye container via the input opening and thus undissolved residues of the laundry care substance that may be present in the washing lye as a result of incorrect operation may lead to damage to the laundry. If the discharge opening is arranged at the lowest point of the lye container, the discharge height above the lye container is zero. The inlet opening may be arranged at the highest point of the lye container, whereby the inlet height has a maximum value. The inlet opening can be arranged at any height on the lye container as long as the inlet height has a value which is greater than the discharge height.
In an advantageous embodiment of the laundry care appliance, after the end of the second time period, the wash liquor has a further wash liquor level in the line, wherein the further wash liquor level is less than the above-mentioned wash liquor level, and wherein the further wash liquor level corresponds in particular to the drain level.
This achieves the technical advantage that: by the additional washing lye level being less than the above-mentioned washing lye level it is ensured that: the washing lye is conveyed back into the lye container from the pipeline. By returning the washing lye into the lye container during the second time period, the level of the washing lye in the pipeline is lowered until a further level of the washing lye in the pipeline after the end of the second time period which is less than the level of the washing lye after the first time period. The further washing lye level after the end of the second time period corresponds in particular to the discharge level when a large part of the pumped-out washing lye is conveyed back into the lye container again.
In an advantageous embodiment of the laundry care appliance, the control device is designed to deactivate the lye pump (dealtivieren) within a second time period.
This achieves the technical advantage that: the return of the washing lye into the lye container is not effected by the active pumping process of the lye pump, but by the washing lye returning as a result of the hydrostatic pressure of the washing lye in the line. Thereby, the lye pump does not have to be actively operated during the second period of time, so that electrical energy can be saved.
In an advantageous embodiment of the laundry care appliance, the control device is configured to activate a further feed operation of the lye pump during the second time period in order to feed the washing lye from the line back into the lye container via the discharge opening.
This achieves the technical advantage that: the return feed of washing lye into the lye container is not effected by a passive return process due to the hydrostatic pressure of the washing lye in the line, but by an active pumping process of the lye pump in a further feed direction which is opposite to the feed direction during the first time period. The feed back of the washing lye into the lye container during the second time period can thereby advantageously be controlled.
In an advantageous embodiment of the laundry care appliance, the control device is configured to repeat the first time period and a second time period following the first time period after the end of the second time period.
This achieves the technical advantage that: by repeating the first and second time periods once or several times, the washing lye can be transported between the lye container and the pipeline several times by means of the lye pump. The dissolution of undissolved residues of the laundry care substances in the washing liquor can thereby be improved.
In an advantageous embodiment of the laundry care appliance, the laundry care appliance comprises a power detection element for detecting an electrical power value of the lye pump, wherein the control device is designed to compare the detected electrical power value of the lye pump with a reference power value of the lye pump, and wherein the control device is designed to activate the lye pump during a third time period following the second time period when the detected electrical power value corresponds to the reference power value in order to pump washing lye out of the lye container via the discharge opening and to feed washing lye into the lye container via the inlet opening.
This achieves the technical advantage that: once the laundry care substance has advantageously (in particular completely) dissolved in the wash liquor, it can be identified by comparing the detected value of the electrical power of the liquor pump with a reference value of the power. This is the case when the reference power value coincides with the detected electric power value. Once this is the case, the control means ends the second time period and starts the third time period. During the third time period, the lye pump is reactivated in order to start the circulating pumping process, whereby wash lye is pumped out of the lye container via the discharge opening and re-supplied to the lye container via the input opening. Since no or only a small amount of undissolved residues of the laundry care substance is present in the washing liquor during the third time period, no potential damage of the laundry in the washing drum occurs when the washing liquor wets the laundry.
The power detection element is configured to detect the electrical power consumed by the lye pump. When undissolved laundry care substance is present in the washing lye, the detected electric power rises due to the higher pumping resistance of the washing lye when it is pumped by the lye pump. The control device has a reference power value, which is determined for the respective lye pump with the completely dissolved laundry care substance in the wash lye and is used as a comparison value. By comparing the detected value of the electrical power with a reference value of the power, the control device can find: whether undissolved laundry care substances are present in the washing liquor. In this way, it is possible to automatically detect, by means of the power detection element and by means of the control device: when the second time period has ended and after the laundry care substance has advantageously dissolved, a circulation pumping process during the third time period can be introduced.
In an advantageous embodiment of the laundry care appliance, the power detection element comprises a current sensor for detecting the supply current of the lye pump.
This achieves the technical advantage that: the electrical power of the lye pump can be detected by using the current sensor without the need to incorporate additional sensor elements in the laundry care appliance. The current sensor includes a switching resistor (schaltwindershold) that detects the supply current of the lye pump during the time interval. The amplitude of the alternating current can be detected, in particular, by means of a current sensor. The supply current of the lye pump is related to the amount of washing lye delivered by the lye pump. If undissolved laundry care substances are present in the wash liquor pumped in by the liquor pump, this can lead to an increase in the detected electrical power of the liquor pump.
In an advantageous embodiment of the laundry care appliance, the control device is designed to operate the lye pump at a first pump power during the first time period and at a further pump power during the third time period, wherein the further pump power is higher than the first pump power.
This achieves the technical advantage that: by the additional pump power of the lye pump during the third time period being higher compared to the first pump power ensures that: efficient circulating pumping of the washing lye in the circulating pumping system during the third period of time. During the first period of time, the washing lye is pumped only up to the level of washing lye in the pipeline, for which reason less pump power is required. However, during the third time period, the washing lye is conveyed back into the lye container via the pipeline and via the inlet opening, for which purpose a higher pump power is required.
In an advantageous embodiment of the laundry care appliance, the laundry care appliance comprises a level sensor (Pegelsensor) for detecting a level of washing lye in the line, wherein the control device is designed to end the first time period as soon as the detected level of washing lye corresponds to the level of washing lye.
This achieves the technical advantage that: an automatic transition from the first time interval to the second time interval is ensured by the fill level sensor. The control device may determine, depending on the detected level of the washing lye: when the pumped washing lye reaches the level of washing lye in the line, and the control device may then end the pumping process. This can prevent: the lye pump pumps the pumped washing lye from the lye container beyond the level of the washing lye and the pumped washing lye is re-conveyed into the lye container via the input opening during the first time period.
In an advantageous embodiment of the laundry care appliance, at the beginning of the first time period, the washing lye in the lye container has a first container level, wherein the first container level in the lye container is at a first container height, and, after the end of the first time period, the washing lye in the lye container has a second container level, wherein the second container level in the lye container is at a second container height, and wherein the second container height is less than the first container height.
This achieves the technical advantage that: the container level of the washing lye in the lye container is lowered by pumping the washing lye from the lye container by the lye pump during the first time period. The lowering of the container level in the lye container is associated with an efficient pumping of the wash lye from the lye container.
In an advantageous embodiment of the laundry care appliance, after the end of the second time period, the wash liquor has a further level of wash liquor in the line, wherein the further level of wash liquor is less than the above-mentioned level of wash liquor, and wherein the further level of wash liquor in the line corresponds to the second container height.
This achieves the technical advantage that: after the lye pump has been switched off during the second time period, the pumped-out washing lye is not conveyed from the line back again completely into the lye container via the discharge opening, but remains partially in the line. An equilibrium here occurs between the second container level of washing lye in the lye container and the further level of washing lye in the pipeline.
In an advantageous embodiment of the laundry care appliance, the lye pump has a pressure side and a suction side, wherein the wash lye is pumped from the suction side to the pressure side of the lye pump via the line during the first time period, and wherein the wash lye is conveyed back from the pressure side to the suction side of the lye pump via the line during the second time period.
This achieves the technical advantage that: by the arrangement of the lye pump with a pressure side and a suction side in the pipeline, an efficient pumping of washing lye from the lye container into the pipeline and an efficient transport of washing lye from the pipeline back into the lye container is ensured.
In an advantageous embodiment of the laundry care appliance, the line comprises a first line section between the outlet opening and the lye pump and a second line section between the lye pump and the inlet opening, wherein the first line section has a different diameter than the second line section.
This achieves the technical advantage that: the hydraulic characteristic of the recirculating pumping system can advantageously be set by the different diameter of the first line section relative to the second line section. In particular, the large diameter of the first line section ensures that: a large amount of washing lye can be pumped out of the lye container during the first period of time.
According to a second aspect of the invention, the object is achieved by a method for care of laundry in a laundry care appliance, the laundry care appliance has a lye container for receiving washing lye and has a control device for controlling a lye pump, wherein the lye container comprises a discharge opening and an inlet opening, wherein the discharge opening is arranged below the inlet opening and is connected with the inlet opening via a line, wherein a lye pump is arranged in the line, wherein the method comprises activating a delivery operation of the lye pump by means of the control device during a first time period, so that washing lye is pumped from the lye container via the discharge opening into the pipeline up to the level of the washing lye in the pipeline, the method comprises adjusting a delivery operation of the lye pump during a second time period following the first time period in order to deliver wash lye from the pipeline back into the lye container via the discharge opening.
This achieves the technical advantage that: by activating the lye pump and setting the sequence of the delivery operation of the lye pump and the associated pumping or return of the washing lye, an advantageous dissolution of undissolved laundry care substances in the washing lye can be achieved, whereby: the undissolved laundry care substance comes into contact with the laundry in the washing drum.

Detailed Description
Fig. 1 shows a schematic view of a conventional laundry care appliance 100, for example a washing machine. The laundry care appliance 100 comprises a rinsing housing 101, into which a laundry care substance (e.g. a detergent) can be introduced. The laundry care appliance 100 comprises a door 103 for loading the laundry care appliance 100 with laundry.
Fig. 2 shows a schematic view of a laundry care appliance with a recirculating pumping system. The laundry care appliance 100 comprises a circulating pumping system 105, the circulating pumping system 105 having a washing drum 107 for receiving the laundry and a lye container 109 for receiving the washing lye, which lye container comprises an inlet opening 111 and an outlet opening 113. The inlet opening 111 and the outlet opening 113 are connected via a line 115, wherein a lye pump 117 is arranged in the line 115 in order to pump washing lye out of the lye container 109 via the outlet opening 113 and to re-pump the pumped washing lye into the lye container 109 via the inlet opening 111. The line 115 comprises a first line section 119 between the discharge opening 113 and the lye pump 117 and a second line section 121 between the lye pump 117 and the inlet opening 111.
The user of the laundry care appliance 100 supplies laundry care substances (e.g. detergent) into the wash-in housing 101 of the laundry care appliance 100. Water is introduced into the rinsing housing 101 via the water connection of the laundry care appliance 100, the resulting water/laundry care substance mixture being supplied to the lye container 109 via the feed line 123 and accumulating in the lower region of the lye container 109 in the vicinity of the discharge opening 113. After the water/laundry care composition mixture has been supplied to the lye container 109, the mixture has a first container level 125 in the lye container 109.
During the washing process, the washing drum 107 is moved and, owing to the diffusion process and the convection process, the laundry care substance is dissolved, whereby a washing lye is formed. The washing lye can enter the washing drum 107 via small openings in the housing of the washing drum 107 or via gill (kiemenartisg) openings of the drum synchronizing part and wet the laundry in the washing drum 107. Through these openings it is ensured that: only the completely dissolved washing lye comes into contact with the laundry and no undissolved residues of the laundry care substance come into contact with the laundry. Since undissolved high concentrations of laundry care substances can cause fading damage on the laundry, good dissolution of the laundry care substances is necessary in order that the laundry is not damaged during the washing process if the user incorrectly supplies the laundry care substances into the flushing-in housing 101.
In conventional laundry care appliances 100 without a circulation pumping system 105, a lye container seal is usually arranged on the outlet opening 113, which prevents the washing lye from unintentionally flowing out of the lye container 109 via the outlet opening 113, as a result of which, in the absence of the circulation pumping system 105, the laundry care substance can be lost and the washing process can no longer be carried out with the desired washing effect. In the circulation pump system 105, the lye container seals are usually dispensed with, and the depletion of the laundry care substance is compensated for by the method of the washing technology (for example by additional components) in order to ensure a favorable washing result.
The present invention provides a circulation pumping system 105, which circulation pumping system 105 can adequately cope without additional components for compensating for the depletion of laundry care substances. The laundry care appliance 100 furthermore comprises a control device 127, which is connected to the lye pump 117 via a control connection 129. The control device 127 is configured to operate the lye pump 117.
At the beginning of the washing process, the control device 127 activates the lye pump 117 during a first time period in order to pump washing lye out of the lye container 109 via the discharge opening 113 and via the line 115, wherein, however, the pumped washing lye is not conveyed back into the lye container 109 via the input opening 111 again. Instead, on the pressure side of the lye pump 117, a water column is formed in the line 115, which reaches a wash lye level 131 in the line 115 after the first period of time, wherein the wash lye level 131 is arranged below the height of the inlet opening 111 (i.e. the inlet height). By pumping out the washing lye from the lye container 109, the level of the washing lye in the lye container 109 is lowered and reaches the second container level 133 in the lye container 109 after the end of the first period of time.
During a second time interval following the first time interval, the delivery operation of the lye pump 117 is set to be regulated by the control means 127.
The washing lye accumulated on the pressure side is thus recirculated back into the lye container 109 via the line 115 and via the discharge opening 113 until an equilibrium of the water columns on the suction side and on the pressure side occurs in the line 115, and wherein the level of washing lye in the line 115 corresponds to the further washing lye level 135 after the end of the second time period. When the amount of washing lye in the circulating pumping system 105 is small, then the further washing lye level 135 may correspond to the height of the discharge opening 113 (or discharge height).
After the end of the second time period, the control device 127 can carry out the first time period and the subsequent time periods again, wherein the washing lye is pumped out again from the lye container 109 by the lye pump 117 and the pumped-out washing lye is conveyed back into the lye container 109. The first time period and the subsequent second time period can be repeated cyclically several times in succession, whereby the undissolved laundry care substance is advantageously dissolved in the washing liquor as a result of the convection currents which occur as a result.
The laundry care appliance 100 can furthermore comprise a power detection element 137, which is connected to the lye pump 117 via a detection connection 139. The power detection element 137 (e.g., a current sensor) detects the value of the electric power (e.g., supply current) of the lye pump 117. By means of the high time resolution when detecting the engine torque (i.e. when detecting the current that generates the torque), it is possible to detect by means of the power detection element 137: whether undissolved residues of the laundry care substance (for example powder residues of the detergent) are still in the wash liquor pumped by the liquor pump 117. By comparing the detected electrical power value of the lye pump 117 with the reference power value of the lye pump 117, the control device 127 can recognize when the laundry care substance is completely dissolved in the washing lye. As soon as the detected value of the electric power of the lye pump 117 corresponds to the reference power value, the control means 127 may further operate the lye pump 117 for a subsequent third time period after the end of the second time period and ensure an efficient supply of wash lye into the lye container 109 via the input opening 111.
The different dissolution rates with different laundry care substances can be detected by the power detection element 137 and by the control device 127 and can thus be determined accurately: when the circulation pumping process can be started without the undissolved laundry care substance coming into contact with the laundry in the washing drum 107. If the laundry care substance is already advantageously dissolved in the washing lye, the washing lye can be conveyed into the lye container 109 via the inlet opening 111 by a simple increase in pump power (for example, an increase in the rotational speed of the lye pump 117) and the laundry can be wetted with the washing lye.
Furthermore, it may be advantageous if the lye pump 117 is already operated with a small pump power when the laundry care substance is flushed from the flush-in housing 101 into the lye container 109 in order to ensure that: preventing the discharge opening 113 from being blocked when too much laundry care substance is dosed by the user.
By means of the pump suction on the side or the return feed of the lye pump 117 by the control device 127 during the first or second time period, an advantageous dissolution of the laundry care substance in the wash lye is achieved. Thus, damage to the laundry caused by undissolved laundry care substance can be avoided when the laundry care substance is not dosed correctly.
Fig. 3 shows the flow of a method 200 for treating laundry in the circulating pumping system 105 of the laundry care appliance 100, which is explained with reference to fig. 2.
