Abstract

本申请公开了一种显示组件及用于显示设备的电路组件。该显示组件包括显示面板,包括显示区及组件安装区;柔性电路板,一端固定于组件安装区,另一端用于连接主机;显示驱动电路,设置于组件安装区或柔性电路板上,用于处理显示信号;背光驱动电路,设置于组件安装区或柔性电路板上,用于处理背光动态调节信号,以驱动显示面板的背光组件。通过这种方式,能够在实现背光的动态调节的同时,提高显示组件及显示设备的生产效率。

Description

一种显示组件及用于显示设备的电路组件
技术领域
本申请涉及显示技术领域,特别是涉及一种显示组件及用于显示设备的电路组件。
背景技术
随着显示技术的不断发展,人们对中小尺寸液晶面板的显示效果、图片细节显示及对比度空间等要求越来越高,使得高动态范围(High Dynamic Range,HDR)技术在中小尺寸液晶面板上的应用日益成为趋势。
本申请的申请人在长期的研发中发现,在目前现有技术中,现有的中小尺寸液晶板面板驱动架构中液晶显示模组是经由柔性电路板连接至主机。主机的主要作用是向液晶显示模组提供显示信号及位于其上的向背光驱动电路提供背光驱动电压,以对背光开/关的调节。但这种架构的生产及组装效率较低。
发明内容
本申请主要解决的技术问题是提供一种显示组件及用于显示设备的电路组件,以实现背光的动态调节的同时,提高显示组件及显示设备的生产效率。
为解决上述技术问题,本申请采用的一个技术方案是:提供一种显示组件。所述显示组件用于显示从主机中获取的显示信号,所述显示组件包括显示面板,包括显示区、组件安装区及背光组件,所述背光组件设置于所述组装安装区;柔性电路板,一端固定于所述组件安装区,另一端用于连接所述主机,以输入所述显示信号;显示驱动电路,设置于所述组件安装区或所述柔性电路板上,用于处理所述显示信号,以使用处理后的所述显示信号驱动所述显示区;背光驱动电路,设置于所述组件安装区或所述柔性电路板上,用于从所述显示驱动电路中获得背光动态调节信号并处理,以处理后的所述背光动态调节信号驱动所述显示面板的所述背光组件。
为解决上述技术问题,本申请采用的另一个技术方案是:提供一种用于显示设备的电路组件。所述显示设备包括显示面板,所述显示面板用于显示从主机中获取的显示信号,所述显示面板进一步包括驱显示动电路及背光组件,所述电路组件包括柔性电路板,一端固定于所述显示面板,另一端用于连接所述主机,以输入所述显示信号至驱动所述显示面板的所述显示驱动电路;背光驱动电路,设置于所述柔性电路板上,用于从所述显示驱动电路中获得背光动态调节信号并处理,以处理后的所述背光动态调节信号驱动所述显示面板的所述背光组件。
本申请实施例的有益效果是:区别于现有技术,本申请实施例显示组件通过设置于显示面板组件安装区或柔性电路板上的背光驱动电路在显示驱动电路中获得背光动态调节信号,以驱动显示面板的背光组件,从而实现背光的动态调节;且将背光驱动电路设置于组件安装区或柔性电路板上,以将背光驱动电路与主机分开设置,能减少因主机生产厂商与显示组件生产厂商不同,而导致二者在生产、组装调试中的出现相互制约的问题,从而能够提高显示组件及显示设备的生产效率。

具体实施方式
请一并参阅图1、图2,图1是本申请显示组件第一实施例的结构示意图;图2是图1实施例显示组件的背光组件的结构一示意图。本实施例显示组件101包括显示面板102、柔性电路板103、显示驱动电路104及背光驱动电路105;其中,显示面板102包括显示区106及组件安装区107;柔性电路板103的一端固定于组件安装区107,另一端用于连接主机108,以输入显示信号;显示驱动电路104设置于组件安装区107,用于处理显示信号,以使用处理后的显示信号驱动显示区106;背光驱动电路105设置于柔性电路板103上,用于从显示驱动电路104中获得背光动态调节信号并处理,以处理后的背光动态调节信号驱动显示面板102的背光组件109。本实施例的背光组件109设置在组件安装区107上。
本实施例的处理后的显示信号不仅包括背光动态调节信号,还至少包括用于驱动显示区106的显示驱动信号及显示数据信号。
计算机在表示图像的时候是用8bit(256)级或16bit(65536)级来区分图像的亮度的,但这仅仅几百或几万个亮度级别很难再现真实自然的光照情况。目前普通的图片都是由三原色—红、绿、蓝组成的,这是针对阴极射线显像管显示器显示的图像而制定的规范,通过这三种颜色的组合,任何颜色都可以在屏幕上显示出来,颜色的强度等级在256个灰度单位以内,也就是说,普通的图像每个像素只有0-255的灰度范围,自然界的光线颜色和强度是上述的规格无法囊括的,例如,一些极亮和极暗的光线不能通过上述的规格来表现。为解决上述问题,本实施例显示组件101通过背光驱动电路105动态调节背光,能够扩大图像的灰度范围,从而能够提高图像显示的显示效果。
在整个显示器的生产过程中,显示组件101与主机108往往由不同的厂商生产,若将显示组件101的部分组件,例如背光驱动电路105,设置在主机108侧的话,会制约整个显示器的生产效率,因为不同的厂商具有不同的生产规则,生产出的产品规则也会存在差异,这样会增加显示组件101与主机108的组装及调试等工作的难度。
本实施例的显示驱动电路104与背光驱动电路105设置于显示区106靠近主机108的同一侧外。当然,在其它实施例中,显示驱动电路104与背光驱动电路105可设置于显示区106的不同侧外。针对直下式背光组件109,还可以将显示驱动电路104与背光驱动电路105进行分层设置。
区别于现有技术,本实施例显示组件101通过设置于柔性电路板103上的背光驱动电路105在显示驱动电路104中获得背光动态调节信号,以驱动显示面板102的背光组件109,从而实现背光的动态调节;且将背光驱动电路105设置于柔性电路板103上,以将背光驱动电路105与主机108分开设置,能减少因主机108生产厂商与显示组件101生产厂商不同,而导致二者在生产、组装调试中的出现相互制约的问题,从而能够提高显示组件101的生产效率。
可选地,本实施例显示组件101的背光动态调节信号是内容对应背光控制(Content Adaptive Brightness Control,CABC)信号格式的脉冲宽度调制(Pulse WidthModulation,PWM)信号。当然,在其它实施例中,可以采用环境光侦测对应背光控制(LABC,Light Adaptive Brightness Control)信号格式等来代替CABC信号格式,还可以采用可控硅调光方式来替代PWM调光方式。
可选地,本实施例背光组件109被定义为多个发光分区110,每个发光分区110对应于显示区106的不同区域,背光动态调节信号用于单独调节发光分区110的发光或不发光,或者发光的强弱,以丰富背光亮度,从而扩大图像的灰度范围。
可选地,本实施例的柔性电路板103设置有第一信号传输线111、第二信号传输线112、背光驱动线113以及背光驱动接口114;第一信号传输线111从连接主机108的一端延伸至连接显示面板102的一端,直至连接显示驱动电路104,用于传输显示信号;第二信号传输线112从连接显示面板102的一端延伸至设置于柔性电路板103的背光驱动电路105。且数量等于发光分区110的数量,与发光分区110一一对应连接,用于传输背光动态调节信号;背光驱动线113从背光驱动电路105延伸至背光驱动接口114,背光驱动接口114用于与背光组件109接插。
本实施例中,第二信号传输线113与背光驱动接口114数量相同,采用并行方式传输背光动态调节信号。当然,在其它实施例中,可以采用一根第二信号传输线113采用串联的方式传输背光动态调节信号给所有背光驱动接口114,当然,还可以采用部分串联、部分并联的方式实现背光动态调节信号的传输。
可选地,请参阅图2,图2是本申请显示组件的柔性电路板的一实施例的结构示意图。本实施例柔性电路板201包括相连的元器件承载部202以及连接部203,连接部203一端连接组件安装区204,连接部203的另一端连接元器件承载部202一端,元器件承载部202另一端用于连接主机205;背光驱动电路206设置于元器件承载部202。
在一个应用场景中,本实施例的柔性电路板201的承载部202为T型结构,这种T型承载部202只需设置一信号传输线(图未示),将主机205的显示信号传输给显示驱动电路(图未示),可以将背光驱动电路206通过连接部203与显示驱动电路连接,而无需在背光驱动电路20与显示驱动电路间设置其它传输线,以减少柔性电路板201面积,简化柔性电路板201的结构。
本申请进一步提供另一实施例的显示组件,本实施例所揭示的显示组件在上述实施例的显示组件的基础上进行描述。请参阅图3,图3是本申请显示组件第二实施例的结构示意图。本实施例显示组件301将显示驱动电路302设置在柔性电路板303上,可以减少组件安装区304的尺寸。当然,在其它实施例中,还可以将显示驱动电路302设置在柔性电路板303上,而将背光驱动电路305设置在组件安装区304上,或者将二者都设置在组件安装区304上。
请参阅图4,图4是申请用于显示设备的电路组件第一实施例的结构示意图。本实施例电路组件401包括柔性电路板402及背光驱动电路403,柔性电路板402的一端固定于显示面板404(参阅图1),另一端用于连接主机405,以输入显示信号至驱动显示面板404的显示驱动电路406;背光驱动电路403设置于柔性电路板402上,用于从显示驱动电路406中获得背光动态调节信号并处理,以处理后的背光动态调节信号驱动显示面板404的背光组件407。从上述可知,本实施例电路组件401及显示面板404组成显示设备408,显示面板404用于显示从主机405中获取的显示信号,显示面板404进一步包括驱显示动电路406及背光组件407。
区别于现有技术,本实施例电路组件401通过设置于柔性电路板402上的背光驱动电路403在显示驱动电路406中获得背光动态调节信号,以驱动显示面板404的背光组件407,从而实现背光的动态调节;且将背光驱动电路403设置于柔性电路板402上,以将背光驱动电路403与主机405分开设置,能减少因主机405生产厂商与电路组件401生产厂商不同,而导致二者在生产、组装调试中的出现相互制约的问题,从而能够提高电路组件401整个显示设备(图未示)的生产效率。
可选地,本实施例电路组件401背光动态调节信号是内容对应背光控制(ContentAdaptive Brightness Control,CABC)信号格式的脉冲宽度调制(Pulse WidthModulation,PWM)信号。当然,在其它实施例中,可以采用环境光侦测对应背光控制(LABC,Light Adaptive Brightness Control)信号格式等来代替CABC信号格式,还可以采用可控硅调光方式来替代PWM调光方式。
可选地,本实施例背光组件407被定义为多个发光分区(图未示,可参照图1),每个发光分区(图未示)对应于显示区的不同区域,背光动态调节信号用于单独调节发光分区的发光或不发光,或者发光的强弱,以丰富背光亮度,从而扩大图像的灰度范围。
本实施例的柔性电路板402的具体结构及工作原理已在上述实施例中进行了叙述,这不不赘述,且对电路组件401的扩展与对上述显示组件的扩展相似,这里不赘述。

Claims (10)

1.一种显示组件,其特征在于,所述显示组件用于显示从主机中获取的显示信号,所述显示组件包括:
显示面板,包括显示区、组件安装区及背光组件,所述背光组件设置于所述组装安装区;
柔性电路板,一端固定于所述组件安装区,另一端用于连接所述主机,以输入所述显示信号;
显示驱动电路,设置于所述组件安装区或所述柔性电路板上,用于处理所述显示信号,以使用处理后的所述显示信号驱动所述显示区;
背光驱动电路,设置于所述组件安装区或所述柔性电路板上,用于从所述显示驱动电路中获得背光动态调节信号并处理,以处理后的所述背光动态调节信号驱动所述显示面板的所述背光组件。
2.根据权利要求1所述的显示组件,其特征在于,所述背光组件被定义为多个发光分区,每个发光分区对应于所述显示区的不同区域,所述背光动态调节信号用于单独调节所述发光分区的发光/不发光、或者发光的强弱。
3.根据权利要求2所述的显示组件,其特征在于,
所述柔性电路板设置有第一信号传输线、第二信号传输线、背光驱动线以及背光驱动接口;
所述第一信号传输线从所述连接主机的一端延伸至连接所述显示面板的一端,直至连接所述显示驱动电路,用于传输所述显示信号;
所述第二信号传输线从连接所述显示面板的一端延伸至设置于所述柔性电路板的背光驱动电路,且数量等于所述发光分区的数量,与所述发光分区一一对应连接,用于传输所述背光动态调节信号;
所述背光驱动线从所述背光驱动电路延伸至所述背光驱动接口,所述背光驱动接口用于与所述背光组件接插。
4.根据权利要求3所述的显示组件,其特征在于,
所述柔性电路板包括相连的元器件承载部以及连接部,所述连接部一端连接所述显示面板的组件安装区,所述连接部的另一端连接所述元器件承载部的一端,所述元器件承载部的另一端用于连接所述主机;
所述背光驱动电路设置于所述元器件承载部。
5.根据权利要求1所述的显示组件,其特征在于,
所述背光动态调节信号是CABC信号格式的PWM信号。
6.一种用于显示设备的电路组件,其特征在于,所述显示设备包括显示面板,所述显示面板用于显示从主机中获取的显示信号,所述显示面板进一步包括驱显示动电路及背光组件,所述电路组件包括:
柔性电路板,一端固定于所述显示面板,另一端用于连接所述主机,以输入所述显示信号至驱动所述显示面板的所述显示驱动电路;
背光驱动电路,设置于所述柔性电路板上,用于从所述显示驱动电路中获得背光动态调节信号并处理,以处理后的所述背光动态调节信号驱动所述显示面板的所述背光组件。
7.根据权利要求6所述的电路组件,其特征在于,
背光驱动电路具有对应背光组件多个发光分区的多个输出端,所述背光动态调节信号用于单独调节所述发光分区的发光/不发光、或者发光的强弱。
8.根据权利要求7所述的电路组件,其特征在于,
所述柔性电路板设置有第一信号传输线、第二信号传输线、背光驱动线以及背光驱动接口;
所述第一信号传输线从所述连接主机的一端延伸至连接所述显示面板的一端,直至连接所述显示驱动电路,用于传输所述显示信号;
所述第二信号传输线从连接所述显示面板的一端延伸至设置于所述柔性电路板的背光驱动电路,且数量等于所述发光分区的数量,与所述发光分区一一对应连接,用于传输所述背光动态调节信号;
所述背光驱动线从所述背光驱动电路延伸至所述背光驱动接口,所述背光驱动接口用于与所述背光组件接插。
9.根据权利要求8所述的电路组件,其特征在于,
所述柔性电路板包括相连的元器件承载部以及连接部,所述连接部一端连接所述显示面板的组件安装区,所述连接部的另一端连接所述元器件承载部的一端,所述元器件承载部的另一端用于连接所述主机;
所述背光驱动电路设置于所述元器件承载部。
10.根据权利要求6所述的电路组件,其特征在于,
所述背光动态调节信号是CABC信号格式的PWM信号。
