Description

Air supply fan and air conditioner with same
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a blowing fan and an air conditioner having the same, and more particularly, to a blowing fan that discharges air flowing in obliquely to an inflow direction and an air conditioner having the same.
Background
An air conditioner is a device that cools, heats, purifies, or humidifies air by flowing the air, thereby making a room comfortable. Such an air conditioner is provided with a blower fan for causing air to flow therein. It is required that the loss of the air flow by the blower fan is suppressed and the occurrence of noise and vibration due to the air flow is suppressed as the air volume of the blower fan is maximized.
Disclosure of Invention
The present invention has been made to solve the above problems, and an object of the present invention is to provide a blower fan and an air conditioner having the same, which discharge inflow air obliquely to an inflow direction.
Another object of the present invention is to provide a blower fan and an air conditioner having the same, which can maximize an air volume and suppress noise and vibration.
The problems of the present invention are not limited to the above-mentioned ones, and as for other problems not mentioned, those skilled in the art will be clearly understood from the following.
To solve the problems, a blower fan according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: a hub, the center of which is combined with a rotating shaft; a protective cover which is arranged at a distance from the hub and has a suction port formed in the central portion thereof for sucking air; and a plurality of blades arranged between the hub and the protective cover, wherein the hub is formed with an outer peripheral end inclined in a direction opposite to the direction of the suction port.
To solve the problem, an air conditioner of an embodiment of the present invention includes: a blower fan for making air flow; a blower motor for rotating the blower fan; an air supply housing for supporting the air supply motor; a filter housing combined with the blowing housing and accommodating a portion of the blowing fan. The blower fan includes: a hub having a rotation shaft of the blower motor coupled to a central portion thereof; a protective cover which is arranged at a distance from the hub and has a suction port formed at the center thereof for sucking air; a plurality of blades disposed between the hub and the protective cover; the hub is formed such that an outer peripheral end thereof is inclined in a direction opposite to a direction of the suction port.
Other embodiments are specifically contemplated by and are encompassed by the detailed description and the accompanying drawings.
The blowing fan and the air conditioner having the same according to the present invention have one or more of the following effects.
First, since the centrifugal fan-shaped blower fan is formed such that the hub discharges air obliquely upward, there is an advantage in that the air flow is smoothly from the lower side to the upper side while maximizing the air volume.
Secondly, since the fan is formed in a centrifugal fan shape in which the protective cover discharges air obliquely upward, the fan has an advantage that the air flow is smoothly from the lower side to the upper side while maximizing the air volume.
Third, there is an advantage in that the purified air is humidified after flowing from the lower side to the upper side, and thus the purification and humidification of the air can be smoothly performed.
Fourth, there is an advantage in that air discharged from the blower fan can be prevented from flowing into the lower side of the protection cover, thereby suppressing noise and vibration.

The protective cover 24c is disposed below the boss 24a with a space. A plurality of paddles 24b are coupled to an upper surface of the protective cover 24 c.
The outer peripheral end of the protective cover 24c is formed to be inclined in the direction opposite to the direction of the suction port 24 c-1. The outer peripheral end of the boot 24c means the upper end outer periphery of the boot 24 c. Preferably, the direction C in which the outer peripheral end of the protective cover 24C faces is about 45 degrees from the horizontal direction. The outer peripheral end of the protection cover 24c is formed obliquely upward to discharge air obliquely upward. Preferably, the direction in which the outer peripheral end of the protective cover 24c faces is substantially parallel to the direction in which the outer peripheral end of the boss 24a faces.

Fig. 10 is a sectional view of a filter housing of an air conditioner according to an embodiment of the present invention, fig. 11 is a plan view of the filter housing shown in fig. 10, and fig. 12 is a partial sectional view of the air conditioner according to an embodiment of the present invention.
The filter mounting portion 148 forms a lower portion of the filter housing 140 and is used for insertion of the filter assembly 10. A base 112 is coupled to a lower side of the filter mounting portion 148. A circular inlet 142 through which air flows is formed in an upper surface of the filter mounting portion 148.
The filter housing 140 has an annular inflow guide portion 144 protruding upward at the outer peripheral portion of the suction port 24 c-1. The inflow guide portion 144 protrudes to the inside of the suction guide portion 24c-2 of the protection cover 24 c. The diameter of the inflow guide portion 144 is formed to be smaller than that of the suction guide portion 24c-2 so that the upper end of the inflow guide portion 144 is inserted toward the inside of the suction guide portion 24 c-2. The inflow guide portion 144 is disposed concentrically with the suction guide portion 24 c-2.
The guide plate 146 forms an upper portion of the filter housing 140 and serves to insert a lower portion of the blowing fan 24. At least a part of the inner surface of the deflector 146 corresponding to the shield 24c is formed obliquely. The flow guide 146 prevents the air discharged from the blowing fan 24 from flowing to the lower side of the protection cover 24 c. The baffle 146 is formed to have an inner diameter larger closer to the outer circumferential end. The outer circumferential end of the deflector 146 means the upper end outer circumference of the deflector 146.
The inner surface of the baffle 146 is formed to be closer to the shield 24c as the outer peripheral end is closer.
The outer peripheral end of the deflector 146 is formed higher than the outer peripheral end of the protective cover 24 c. However, the outer peripheral end of the baffle 146 is formed lower than the straight line C extending in the direction in which the outer peripheral end of the protective cover 24C faces. The flow guide 146 is formed so that a straight line C extending in a direction in which the outer peripheral end of the protective cover 24C faces does not meet the flow guide 146. That is, the baffle 146 is formed such that the air guided through the protective cover 24c does not directly meet the baffle 146. A straight line C extending in the direction in which the outer peripheral end of the protective cover 24C faces the air blowing flow path 158 and meets the inner surface of the air blowing main body 152 of the air blowing casing 150.
The blower housing 150 is formed such that a straight line a extending in the direction in which the outer peripheral end of the hub 24a faces the blower flow path 158 meets the blades 156. The motor cover 154 of the blower housing 150 is formed so as not to meet the straight line a extending in the direction in which the outer peripheral end of the hub 24a faces. At least a part of the outer face of the motor cover 154 of the blower housing 150 is formed obliquely along the hub 24 a. Since at least a part of the outer surface of the motor cover 154 is formed close to the hub 24a, the air discharged from the blower fan 24 can be prevented from flowing into the upper center portion of the hub 24 a.
Fig. 13 is a perspective cross-sectional view of a blower housing of an air conditioner according to an embodiment of the present invention, fig. 14 is a plan view of the blower housing shown in fig. 13, fig. 15 is a bottom view of the blower housing shown in fig. 13, fig. 16 is a perspective view of blades of the blower housing shown in fig. 13, and fig. 17 is a view showing an operation of the blades shown in fig. 16.
The blower main body 152 is formed in a cylindrical shape and has a plurality of blades 156 coupled to an inner circumferential surface thereof. The blower main body 152 and the motor cover 154 together form an annular blower flow path 158. A baffle 146 is coupled to the lower side of the air blowing main body 152. The outer periphery of the lower end of the air blowing body 152 is formed larger than the outer peripheral end of the baffle 146, and the lower end of the air blowing body 152 is coupled so as to surround the upper end of the baffle 146. The placement body 120 is coupled to an upper side of the air blowing body 152.
The motor cover 154 is formed in a bowl shape so that the blower motor 22 can be inserted and fastened. A plurality of blades 156 are coupled to an outer circumferential surface of the motor cover 154. The motor cover 154 has the air supply motor 22 disposed therein and the upper portion of the air supply fan 24 disposed outside. The motor cover 154 is disposed at a distance from the center of the air blowing main body 152, and forms an annular air blowing flow path 158 together with the air blowing main body 152.
The plurality of blades 156 are arranged at intervals in the circumferential direction in the air flow passage 158. The plurality of blades connect the motor cover 154 and the air blowing main body 152, and support the motor cover 154 at intervals from the air blowing main body 152.
The plurality of blades 156 guide air discharged from the blower fan 24 to the air flow passage 158 upward. Each of the plurality of blades 156 is formed in a curved plate shape that can be arranged to stand up close to each other in the vertical direction. A plurality of rib portions 156e are formed on one surface of each of the plurality of blades 156 in the air flow direction.
The surface of the blade 156 in the direction in which the air flows is referred to as a positive pressure surface 156c, and the surface opposite to the positive pressure surface 156c is referred to as a negative pressure surface 156 d. In the present embodiment, the surface on which the beads 156e are not formed is a positive pressure surface 156c, and the surface on which the beads 156e are formed is a negative pressure surface. The lower end of the blade 156 on the upstream side in the air flow direction is referred to as a leading end 156a, and the upper end on the downstream side in the air flow direction is referred to as a trailing end 156 b.
The air discharged to the blower fan 24 is discharged to the blower flow path 158 while being inclined upward in the circumferential direction, and rotates in the rotation direction of the blower fan 24 when entering the blower flow path 158. In the present embodiment, the air discharged to the air sending fan 24 rotates clockwise and flows upward when viewed from above.
The positive pressure surface 156c of each of the plurality of blades 156 is concavely formed and the negative pressure surface 156d is convexly formed. Each of the plurality of blades 156 has a surface coupled to the air blowing main body 152, which is formed such that a rear end 156b faces upward and is curved in the direction of the air flow (the direction of a positive pressure surface 156c where no rib is formed) as it approaches a front end 156 a. Each of the plurality of blades 156 has a leading end 156a formed to be oriented in the rotation direction of the blower fan 24 as it goes radially, and a trailing end 156b formed to be oriented in the rotation direction of the blower fan 24 as it goes radially. Each of the plurality of blades 156 rotates in a spiral shape due to the above shape, and guides the flowing air to flow in a vertical direction.
The plurality of ribs 156e protrude from the negative pressure surface 156d of the blade 156 and are formed in the air flow direction in the longitudinal direction. Each rib 156e of the plurality of ribs 156e is formed in a propeller (airfoil) shape in which the height of the cross section gradually decreases from the front end toward the rear end. Each of the plurality of beads 156e is formed such that the negative pressure surface 156d of the blade 156 is convex in the curved direction. Since the plurality of beads 156e are formed on the negative pressure surface 156d of the blade 156, it is possible to guide the air to flow in the upward direction while suppressing the generation of a vortex on the negative pressure surface 156d of the blade 156.
Each of the plurality of vanes 156 is formed such that a leading end 156a thereof smoothly bends from the positive pressure surface 156c to the negative pressure surface 156 d. Since the leading ends 156a of the plurality of vanes are smoothly bent in the height direction of the plurality of beads 156e, the air flowing in the direction of the positive pressure surface 156c flows upward against the positive pressure surface 156c, and the air flowing toward the negative pressure surface 156d is guided toward the plurality of vanes 156.
The respective rear ends 156b of the plurality of blades 156 are formed in a zigzag shape. Since the rear ends of the blades 156 are formed in a zigzag shape, a time difference is generated in the air drifting away, thereby suppressing noise.
The operation of the air conditioner according to the embodiment of the present invention configured as described above will be described below.
When the blower motor 22 generates a rotational force, the blower fan 24 connected to the rotary shaft 22a of the blower motor 22 rotates. When the blower fan 24 rotates to flow air, external air flows in through the suction flow path 101 of the base 112. The air flowing into the suction passage 101 passes through the filter assembly 10 and is purified, and then is sucked into the suction port 24c-1 of the protective cover 24c of the blower fan 24 through the inlet 142 of the filter case 140. The air sucked into the blower fan 24 is discharged obliquely upward through the protective cover 24c and the boss 24 a. The air discharged from the blower fan 24 flows upward through the air flow passage 158 of the air blowing unit 20 by the plurality of blades 156. The air having passed through the air flow path 158 is guided to the humidification module 200 placed on the placement body 120. The air flowing to the humidification module 200 is humidified by the humidification media 50 and then discharged upward through the head assembly 230.
Fig. 18 is a front view of a blower fan of an air conditioner according to another embodiment of the present invention.
The blower fan 24' according to another embodiment of the present invention includes: a hub 24' a having a rotation shaft coupled at the center thereof; a protective cover 24 'c which is arranged at a distance from the hub 24' a and has a suction port formed at the center thereof for sucking air; a plurality of blades 24 ' b are disposed between the hub 24 ' a and the shroud 24 ' c.
The hub 24 ' a and the protective cover 24 ' c of the blower fan 24 ' according to another embodiment of the present invention are the same as those of the hub 24a and the protective cover 24c of the blower fan 24 according to one embodiment of the present invention, and thus detailed description thereof is omitted.
Each of the plurality of blades 24 'b of another embodiment of the present invention is formed in such a manner that the trailing edge 24' b-2 includes at least one curve. Each of the plurality of blades 24 ' b has a rear edge 24 ' b-2 that protrudes in a radial direction from an imaginary straight line L connecting a point where a part of the rear edge 24 ' b-2 is connected to the protective cover 24 ' c to a point where the rear edge is connected to the hub 24 ' a. The radially protruding portion of the trailing edge 24' b-2 is formed in a curved line. A portion of the rear edge 24 ' b-2 near a place where it is connected to the protective cover 24 ' c is formed in a curved line, and a portion near a place where it is connected to the hub 24 ' a is formed in a straight line.
Since the portion of the trailing edge 24 'b-2 near the point of connection with the shroud 24' c is formed in a curved line and is formed so as to project in the radial direction, the occurrence of a vortex due to flow interference between the shroud 24 'c and the trailing edge 24' b-2 can be suppressed.
Preferably, the curved portion 24 ' a-2a of the trailing edge 24 ' b-2 is more numerous than the straight portion 24 ' a-2 b. The more the curved portion 24 'a-2 a is, the more the generation of the vortex can be suppressed, however, when the area of the blade 24' b is too large, the power consumption of the blower motor 22 is increased, and therefore, it is preferable that the curved portion 24 'a-2 a occupies 75% to 85% of the trailing edge 24' b-2 with respect to the up-down direction.
As described above, the blowing fan, the guide plate, and the blades of the present invention can be applied to various air conditioners that perform purification, humidification, refrigeration, or heating by flowing air.
While the preferred embodiments of the present invention have been described above, the present invention is not limited to the above-described specific embodiments, and various modifications can be made by those skilled in the art without departing from the gist of the present invention described in the claims, and such modifications should not be construed as departing from the technical spirit or the prospect of the present invention.
