Abstract
本发明提供一种用于改进单色白漆橘皮外观的涂料组合物,其包含基于所述涂料总重量计10‑20wt%的聚酯树脂、2‑8wt%的氨基树脂和0‑6wt%的丙烯酸树脂。本发明还提供了用所述涂料组合物涂覆的基底。
Description
技术领域
本发明涉及一种能够改进汽车部件(诸如保险杠、扰流板及门把手等)的单色白漆外观的涂料组合物以及用其涂覆的制品。
背景技术
目前,汽车车身颜色种类繁多,其中白色能占到所有颜色的一半及以上的比例。喷涂保险杠所用底漆基本以黑色为主。当用单色白漆覆盖黑色底漆时,需要喷涂30-40微米厚的漆膜才能保证完全遮盖的效果。然而,白漆在高膜厚情况下会出现流平性差、目视外观不良的情况,还会出现失光、重涂附着力不良、耐潮湿性能及耐候性能差等问题。为了改善单色白漆的橘皮外观及体系整体性能,本发明人分别对树脂体系、颜料、助剂及溶剂等方面进行了大量的筛选,从而开发出适合于PP和ABS共线的高外观体系单色白漆。
发明内容
本发明提供一种涂料组合物,其包含基于所述涂料组合物的总重量计10-20wt%的聚酯树脂、2-8wt%的氨基树脂和0-6wt%的丙烯酸树脂。
本发明还提供一种经涂覆的基材,其包括基材和沉积在至少一部分所述基材上的涂料组合物,其中所述涂料组合物包含基于所述涂料组合物的总重量计10-20wt%的聚酯树脂、2-8wt%的氨基树脂和0-6wt%的丙烯酸树脂。
发明详述
除了实施例中的或另外明确说明的,应当认为说明书和权利要求书中使用的所有代表成分的数量、反应条件等的数值在所有情况下均可按照术语“约”进行变化。因此,除非有相反的说明,否则以下的说明书和权利要求书中所列出的数值参重均为近似值,可以按照本发明想要获得的性能而变化。起码,而不是为了限制相当于权利要求范围的这一原则的实施,每个数值参数至少应当按照有效数字来解释并运用普通的舍入法。
尽管列出本发明宽范围的数值范围和参数是近似值,但具体实施例中列出的数值记录得尽可能准确。但是,任何一个数值本来就具有一定的误差。该误差是其相应的测量方法中得出的标准偏差的必然结果。
本文中所使用的聚合物的重均分子量是通过凝胶渗透色谱法采用适当的标准物,例如聚苯乙烯标准物测定的。
本文中所使用的术语“酸值”是指中和1克样品中的游离酸所需的氢氧化钾的毫克数,以mgKOH/g表示。
本文中所使用的术语“羟值”是指1克样品中的羟基所相当的氢氧化钾(KOH)的毫克数,以mgKOH/g表示。
喷涂汽车保险杠、扰流板及门把手等部件所用的底漆基本以黑色为主,当用单色白色漆覆盖黑色底漆时,通常需要喷涂30-40微米厚的漆膜以保证完全遮盖黑色底漆。然而,白漆在高膜厚情况下会出现流平性差、目视外观不良的情况,还会出现失光、重涂附着力不良、耐潮湿性能及耐候性能差等问题。本发明提供一种旨在改善单色白漆的橘皮外观及体系整体性能的涂料组合物。所述涂料组合物包含基于所述涂料组合物的总重量计10-20wt%的聚酯树脂、2-8wt%的氨基树脂和0-6wt%的丙烯酸树脂。
适合在本发明涂料组合物中使用的聚酯树脂通过至少一种多元酸和至少一种多元醇在一定条件下制得。优选地,该聚酯树脂具有50-100mgKOH/g的羟值、0-5mgKOH/g的酸值,且其重均分子量在3000-5000范围内。聚酯树脂具有优良的光泽、柔韧性和流变性能,可改善涂层外观并提高体系流平性。合适的聚酯树脂可商购获得,其包括但不限于以商品名称Setal 90173SS-50得自NUPLEX RESINS的聚酯树脂。
适合在本发明涂料组合物中使用的氨基树脂为涂料领域已知的任何氨基树脂,优选三聚氰胺-甲醛树脂,氨基树脂可改善所述涂料组合物的耐失光性。合适的氨基树脂可商购获得,其包括但不限于以商品名称FM-003MELAMINE RESIN得自PPG USA的氨基树脂。
本发明中所用的丙烯酸树脂优选为羟基官能的丙烯酸聚合物。合适的含羟基的丙烯酸聚合物可以由可聚合的烯属不饱和单体来制备,并且可以是(甲基)丙烯酸和/或(甲基)丙烯酸烷基酯与一种或多种其他可聚合的烯属不饱和单体的共聚物,所述其他可聚合的烯属不饱和单体例如是(甲基)丙烯酸烷基酯,包括(甲基)丙烯酸甲酯、(甲基)丙烯酸乙酯、(甲基)丙烯酸丁酯和丙烯酸-2-乙基己酯,乙基乙烯基芳族化合物,如苯乙烯、α-甲基苯乙烯和乙烯基甲苯等。本文所有的“(甲基)丙烯酸酯”及类似术语意在包括丙烯酸酯和甲基丙烯酸酯两者。
优选地,丙烯酸树脂具有40-50℃的玻璃化转变温度、10-40mgKOH/g的羟值,且其重均分子量在20000-30000范围内,此类丙烯酸树脂能够为该涂料体系提供润湿分散性及耐老化性能,所述丙烯酸树脂在该涂料组合物中的含量不超过6wt%。当丙烯酸树脂的含量大于6wt%时,所制备的涂层在失光、重涂附着力、耐潮湿性能上表现较差,这可通过实施例部分的对比实施例观察到。商购可得的丙烯酸树脂包括但不限于来自PPG USA的16-DLW-087ACRYLIC RESIN。
本发明的涂料组合物还包含基于该涂料组合物总重量计约20-40wt%的钛白颜料。本发明为高固含高颜基比体系,由于其上施用本发明涂料组合物的底漆是黑色漆,因此为保证白色面漆完全遮盖黑色底漆,需要高的颜料含量,而树脂组分含量则较低。所述涂料组合物中所用的丙烯酸树脂为钛白颜料的研磨树脂,利用其对钛白进行研磨,从而制得用在单色白漆中的白色浆。所得的涂料组合物在储存稳定性、耐失光性、重涂性、耐潮湿性等方面,尤其是橘皮外观具有非常明显的优势。
所述涂料组合物进一步包含溶剂,所述溶剂可以包括可与本发明的其他组分一起使用的任何合适的溶剂。合适的溶剂对于阅读本说明书之后的本领域技术人员而言是显而易见的。合适的溶剂的实例包括但不限于下述:如甲苯或二甲苯、正丁醇或异丙醇、醋酸丁酯或乙二醇丁醚醋酸酯、丙酮或甲基正戊基酮,或上述的任意混合物。所述溶剂在本发明涂料组合物中存在的量基于该组合物的重量计为30-50wt%。
根据本发明的涂料组合物的助剂部分还可以包括选自下述物质中的一种或多种的其他辅助成分:流平剂、醋酸丁酸纤维素溶液、润湿分散剂、紫外线吸收剂、电阻率调节剂以及本领域已知的任何可用于本发明的第一组分中的任何添加剂。当这些辅助成分存在时,其存在的量基于所述涂料组合物的重量计至多为4wt%。
在另一方面,本发明提供一种经涂覆的基材,其包括基材和沉积在至少一部分所述基材上的涂料组合物。可以用本发明的涂料组合物涂覆的基材可以是任何合适的基材,包括但不限于金属或塑料。优选地,所述基材为聚丙烯基材(PP)、聚碳酸酯(PC)和丙烯腈-丁二烯-苯乙烯共聚物(ABS)基材。例如,所述基材可以为汽车外部部件的PP或PC+ABS部分。特别地,所述基材为汽车保险杆、扰流板和门把手等。
本发明涂料组合物一般制备过程流程如下所述:确定合适的研磨机,用丙烯酸树脂研磨钛白制得白浆。在主体储罐中按顺序在搅拌下添加白浆、聚酯树脂、氨基树脂及丙烯酸树脂;在预混罐中在搅拌下依次添加各种溶剂及各类助剂,直至助剂完全分散,得到预混物;预混物检测合格后转移至主体储罐中,搅拌一定时间取样,检验各项指标后将其调整到要求的范围内,经调整合格的产品贮存待用。
本发明涂料组合物涂覆过程采用本领域技术人员通常已知的的程序进行,通常将该涂料组合物用稀释剂调整至喷涂粘度。待基材被涂覆底漆后,用调整到指定压力的Binks喷枪将所述涂料组合物喷涂至所需膜厚后喷涂清漆。将所得漆膜闪干适宜时间后放入80-90℃烘箱烘烤30-40分钟,测得漆膜厚度在约30-40μm范围内。要求所得漆膜的橘皮合格,并且无失光、流挂、起泡、针孔、杂质、附着力及重涂附着力失效等缺陷。

1.外观橘皮测试
样品处理:将色漆与配套体系的底漆和清漆(底漆:PPG MPP4100DGTJ;清漆:PPGTKU2000CCN-YF)在PP基材上制板,立烘于85℃烘箱中,并于30分钟后取出,完全冷却后按照下述标准进行测试。
按照GMW 15777-2011用Micro-wave-scan橘皮仪测量以下数据:桔皮R值、长波Lw、短波Sw、鲜艳性DOI等数据的组合来衡量橘皮。橘皮仪在色板表面扫描发出激光光源,另一侧的探头收集反射光,通过数字滤波器将光学轮廓分为长短波,根据长短波来评估橘皮的优劣。通过橘皮仪测定的橘皮等级用R表征,从橘皮仪上直接读数。
从表2所示结果可见,本发明实施例制得的漆膜的橘皮外观要明显高于对比实施例1-2制得的漆膜1级以上。

2.耐失光性能测试
高光体系涂料易出现失光问题,漆膜表面人像模糊不清影响漆膜质量。用以下方法检测高光体系的耐失光性:将色漆配套体系的底漆PPG MPP4100DGTJ喷涂在PP基材上后喷涂色漆,在色漆闪干1分钟内喷涂清漆TKU2000CCN-YF,平烘于85℃烘箱中,30分钟后取出,完全冷却后目视是否有失光问题。
从表3结果可以看出,本发明实施例涂料制得的漆膜的耐失光性要明显高于对比实施例1-2制得的漆膜。

3.耐重涂性能测试
保险杠喷涂线一次合格率约80-90%,不合格工件需打磨抛光后返工。单色白漆由于膜厚较厚,返工后易出现重涂掉漆、附着力不良的问题。检测重涂附着力方法如下:
样品处理:将色漆YF-SGM9753(YT)和配套体系的底漆与清漆(底漆:PPGMPP4100DGTJ;清漆:PPG TKU2000CCN-YF)在PP基材上制板,平烘于85℃烘箱中80-90分钟过度烘烤后取出,完全冷却后重新喷涂底色清漆,再平闪于85℃烘箱中30分钟后取出测试附着力。
按照GMW 14829-2012Crosshatch评价附着力,采用胶带为3M898,划线间隔为2mm/3mm,划线数量为6*6。
附着力等级包括“0-5”级:“0”级表示没有漆膜脱落,“1”级表示漆膜脱落面积不超过5%,“2”级表示漆膜脱落面积最小5%但不超过15%,“3”级表示漆膜脱落面积最小15%但不超过35%,“4”级表示漆膜脱落面积最小35%但不超过65%,“5”级表示漆膜有≥65%面积脱落。
破坏实验用美工刀在漆膜表面划十字,从十字交叉处用刀尖向上挑,以漆膜能否被挑起判断其重涂附着力的优劣。如果漆膜完全不能挑起,则判断为OK;只要有漆膜被挑起,即判定为NOK。
从下表4中可见,本发明实施例涂料制得的漆膜的附着力测试和破坏实验结果均优于对比实施例的漆膜。

4.耐潮湿性能测试
样品处理:将色漆YF-SGM9753(YT)与配套体系的底漆和清漆(底漆:PPGMPP4100DGTJ;清漆:PPG TKU2000CCN-YF)在PP基材上制板,平烘于85℃烘箱中烘烤30分钟后取出,在60℃老化箱中老化48H;样品预先在温度为22~26℃,相对湿度30~70%的实验室条件下放置24小时以上。然后按照下述标准进行测试。
将涂覆漆膜的样件用标准去离子水冲洗干净后,置于温度40±3℃湿度100%的潮湿箱中240H,取出1小时后检测外观和附着力(如上3中所述)。
从下表5中可见,本发明实施例涂料制得的漆膜的耐潮湿性能优于对比实施例1-2的漆膜。

5.耐候性能测试
样品处理:将色漆YF-SGM9753(YT)与配套体系的底漆和清漆(底漆:PPGMPP4100DGTJ;清漆:PPG TKU2000CCN-YF)在PP基材上制板,平烘于85℃烘箱中烘烤30分钟后取出,在60℃老化箱中老化48H;样品预先在温度为22~26℃,相对湿度30~70%的实验室条件下放置24小时以上。然后按照下述标准进行测试。
使用Atlas CI5000氙灯老化箱按照SAE J2527 2004标准进行测试:340nm下辐照能量0.55W/m2/nm1进行非连续光照,黑板黑暗条件下温度38±2℃,光照条件下70±2℃;黑暗条件下相对湿度95±5%,光照条件下50±5%,水质要求为蒸馏水或去离子水,不含硅或不超过20ppm。循环方式为:黑暗60分钟前后喷淋,光照40分钟无喷淋,光照20分钟前喷淋,光照60分钟无喷淋,实验周期为2500KJ/4500KJ。目视评价光泽、颜色及附着力的变化。使用BYK Gradner 4430测量光泽变化,用BYK macⅡ色差仪测量色差变化。
实验前用BYK Gradner 4430测量光泽仪测初始光泽G0,实验后测变化后的光泽G1,光泽保持率=(1-(G0-G1)/G0)*100%。实验前用BYK macⅡ色差仪测量初始色差E0,实验后测量变化的色差E1,△E=(E1-E0)/E0*100%。
从下表可见,本发明实施例涂料制得的漆膜的的各项性能均优于对比实施例1-2制得的漆膜的性能。
表6.耐光色牢度和氙灯老化测试结果
已经如上所述,对本发明对比实施例制得的漆膜进行了各项性能测试。从上述测试结果可知,由本发明的涂料组合物制备的漆膜具有优异的橘皮外观和目视效果、良好的耐失光性、耐重涂性、耐潮湿性及耐候性等性能。
尽管已解释和描述了本发明的特定方面,对本领域技术人员来说很明显的是可做出多种其它改变和修饰而不会背离本发明的精神和范围。因此所附权利要求意图涵盖落入本发明范围内的所有这些改变和修饰。
Claims (10)
1.一种涂料组合物,包含基于所述涂料组合物的总重量计10-20wt%的聚酯树脂、2-8wt%的氨基树脂和0-6wt%的丙烯酸树脂。
2.如权利要求1所述的涂料组合物,其中所述聚酯树脂具有50-100mgKOH/g的羟值、0-5mgKOH/g的酸值,且其重均分子量在3000-5000范围内。
3.如权利要求1所述的涂料组合物,其中所述丙烯酸树脂具有40-50℃的玻璃化转变温度、10-40mgKOH/g的羟值,且其重均分子量在20000-30000范围内。
4.如权利要求1所述的涂料组合物,还包括基于所述涂料组合物的总重量计20-40wt%的颜料、30-50wt%的溶剂及0-4wt%的添加剂。
5.如权利要求4所述的涂料组合物,其中所述颜料为钛白。
6.如权利要求4所述的涂料组合物,其中所述溶剂选自以下的一种或多种:正丁醇、二甲苯、醋酸丁酯、乙二醇丁醚醋酸酯、丙酮和甲基正戊基酮。
7.如权利要求4所述的涂料组合物,其中所述添加剂组分包括醋酸丁酸纤维素、流平剂、电阻率调节剂。
8.经涂覆的基材,其包括
(i)基材,和
(ii)沉积在至少一部分所述基材上的涂料组合物,所述涂料组合物包含基于所述涂料组合物的总重量计10-20wt%的聚酯树脂、2-8wt%的氨基树脂和0-6wt%的丙烯酸树脂。
9.如权利要求8所述的经涂覆基材,其中所述基材为聚丙烯、聚碳酸酯和丙烯腈-丁二烯-苯乙烯共聚物(ABS)基材。
10.如权利要求8-9任一项所述的经涂覆基材,其中所述基材包括汽车保险杠、扰流板和门把手。
