技术领域
本发明的主题涉及由旋转轴产生的噪声和振动的衰减,更具体地涉及具有用于降低噪声和振动的内部泡沫衬里的传动轴。
背景技术
旋转装置的动力传输通常通过使用传动轴来实现传输;许多传动轴由薄的中空管构成。已知这些传动轴会产生不期望的声音和振动,并且因此可能需要一些形式的衰减处理。在车辆应用中,车辆传动系将旋转动力从动力系(例如,发动机和变速器)传输至驱动轮。传动系产生的噪声可能令顾客感到烦恼,因此必须降低或消除噪声。
用于降低车辆传动轴中的噪声和振动的常见***和方法是通过利用各种阻尼装置,将各种阻尼装置在选定位置处嵌入到中空传动轴中。阻尼装置可以如同纸板套筒那样简单,并且可以根据待解决问题的严重性来增加其复杂度。大多数阻尼装置利用摩擦配合/压配合、粘合或焊接固定在适当的位置。这种紧固方法的问题是它们可能对传动轴的材料属性有影响或者可能是不可靠的。另外,汽车传动轴的端部通常以旋转型锻操作的方式形成,且相对于传动轴的中心部分向下颈缩。因此,在嵌入前述阻尼装置和紧固方法中会出现问题。
发明内容
在示例性实施例中,传动轴组件包括具有中心部和端部的中空轴、由在端部之间延伸的内壁限定的轴向延伸内腔,以及涂覆在内壁上的泡沫层。
在另一示例性实施例中,车辆包括动力系组件和驱动模块,该驱动模块通过驱动轴或传动轴组件联接至动力系组件,该驱动轴或传动轴组件包括具有中心部和端部的中空轴、由在端部之间延伸的内壁限定的轴向延伸内腔,以及涂覆在内壁上的泡沫层。

现参考图1,在一示例性实施例中,示出的车辆10具有差速器组件12和车轴组件14,它们组合起来称作驱动模块16。车辆10可包括动力系组件18,动力系组件18包括发动机20,比如以汽油或柴油作为燃料的内燃机。例如,发动机20可进一步为混合型发动机,将内燃机和电驱动马达组合起来。发动机20和驱动模块16联接至框架或其它底盘结构24。发动机20通过变速器22和驱动轴或传动轴组件26联接至驱动模块16。变速器22配置用于改变发动机输出的旋转速度和扭矩。修改后的输出经由驱动轴或传动轴组件26传输至驱动模块16。驱动模块16通过差速器齿轮组(未示出)将来自传动轴组件26的输出经车轴组件14传输至一对从动轮28。
现参考图2-4,在一实施例中,传动轴组件26包括具有中心部30和端部32的中空薄壁轴28。例如,端部32可通过耳轴帽34闭合,该耳轴帽具有从其延伸出的十字轴36,用于作为万向接头40附接至变速器22或差速器组件12的输出轴38。中空薄壁轴具有由内壁44限定的轴向延伸内腔42。在传动轴组件26的装配过程中,泡沫层46通过比如喷涂或其它合适的涂覆方法涂覆至内壁44上。根据具体传动轴组件26需要的噪声和振动衰减,泡沫层46可在中空薄壁轴28的整个长度上延伸,或者它可沿着内壁44的轴向长度喷涂到预定的位置上。另外,泡沫层46的厚度还可以从薄层变化为能够完全充满所述轴向延伸内腔42的一个层。在泡沫层46的构造中使用的材料可包括多种适合于所述申请的泡沫中的一种或多种。可以预期的是,在一实施例中,泡沫可包括喷涂的聚氨酯泡沫、聚苯乙烯泡沫、聚丙烯泡沫和聚乙烯泡沫中的一种。
现参考图4和5,在一实施例中,传动轴组件26具有与端部32中的一个或多个端部相邻的向下型锻部或向下颈缩部52。由于具有向下颈缩部52,已知衬里和质量环必须具有能够经过铝或其它材料热处理工艺而不分解的材料属性;因为它们必须在向下颈缩工艺之前嵌入。然而,泡沫层46可在中空薄壁轴38的向下型锻或向下颈缩工艺以及铝热处理工艺之后涂覆。在以下泡沫层46的涂覆中,所需的质量块(mass inertia)或衬里50可以通过端部32中的开口54嵌入轴20中,而不必考虑向下颈缩部52的缩小的直径。当泡沫层固化时,质量块或衬里50将粘合至硬化的泡沫,使得其处于高可靠性和永久性的定位中,且对中空薄壁轴28的材料属性没有任何影响。可以预期的是,质量块或衬里50可从局部区域(长度的10%)延伸直至焊接端部内侧的传动轴长度的大部分。
尽管已参考示例性实施例描述本发明,但是本领域技术人员将会理解的是,在不脱离本发明范围的条件下,可以做出各种变化且可以用等效体替代其中的元件。另外,可以在不脱离本发明的实质范围的情况下做出多种修改以使具体情况的材料适应本发明的教导。因此,这意味着本发明并不局限于已公开的特定实施例,而是本发明将包括落入本申请的范围的所有实施例。

Claims (10)

1.一种传动轴组件,包括:
具有中心部和端部的中空轴;和
由在所述端部之间延伸的内壁限定的轴向延伸内腔,以及涂覆在所述内壁上的泡沫层。
2.如权利要求1所述的传动轴,其中所述泡沫层作为喷雾涂覆至所述内壁。
3.如权利要求1所述的传动轴,其中所述泡沫层沿着所述中空轴的长度延伸。
4.如权利要求1所述的传动轴,其中沿着所述内壁的轴向长度将所述泡沫层涂覆至预定的位置。
5.如权利要求1所述的传动轴,其中所述泡沫层的厚度可以从薄层变化为能够完全充满所述轴向延伸内腔的一个层。
6.如权利要求1所述的传动轴,其中所述泡沫层包括喷涂的聚氨酯泡沫、聚苯乙烯泡沫、聚丙烯泡沫和聚乙烯泡沫中的一种。
7.如权利要求1所述的传动轴,进一步包括与所述端部的一个或多个端部相邻的向下型锻部或向下颈缩部。
8.如权利要求1所述的传动轴,进一步包括通过端部中的开口嵌入至所述轴中的质量块或衬里,其中所述质量块或衬里粘合至所述泡沫。
9.根据权利要求8所述的传动轴,其中所述质量块或衬里从局部区域(所述长度的10%)延伸直至所述焊接端内侧的所述传动轴长度的大部分。
10.一种车辆,其包括:
动力系组件;和
驱动模块,其通过驱动轴或传动轴组件联接至所述动力系组件,所述驱动轴或传动轴组件包括具有中心部和端部的中空轴、由在所述端部之间延伸的内壁限定的轴向延伸内腔,以及涂覆在所述内壁上的泡沫层。
