背景技术
以往,作为车辆用灯具、特别是前照灯的光源,卤素灯、HID(High IntensityDischarge高强度放电灯)是主流,但是,近年,代替它们,使用LED(发光二极管)、激光二极管(也称为“半导体激光器”)等的半导体光源的车辆用灯具的开发得到推进。
为提高远处的视认性,具备聚光照射比通常的远光更远处的灯(称为“追加远光灯”)的车辆用灯具得到开发。对追加远光灯的光源要求高的指向性,因此,使用激光二极管、或使用与此类似的高亮度的半导体光源。又,通常的远光灯或近光灯有时也使用激光二极管、LED等高亮度的光源。

追加远光灯为聚光配光,因此,通过根据弯道的程度使得光轴左右旋转,期待进一步提高弯道的远处视认性。本发明人对于带转体功能的追加远光灯光源进行研究结果,认识到以下课题。
图1是表示在弯道上行驶的车辆的图。自身车辆2行驶在图1所示的弯道6时,追加远光灯的光轴朝驾驶者的视线方向即右方向倾斜。恐怕追加远光灯会给前行车或对向车(总称为“前方车”)带来眩光。于是,若通过照相机等检测到前方车,则追加远光灯熄灯或减光。

发明内容

本发明的某形态涉及车辆用灯具。车辆用灯具包括:灯具单元,生成聚光地照射远处的聚光(spot light);点灯电路,点亮设置于灯具单元的光源;以及转体机构,使得聚光旋转。聚光的转体角越大,点灯电路使得上述光源的光量越低。
根据该形态,在弯道行驶时,能抑制对前方车或自身车辆的眩惑。
也可以构成为:若转体角超过所设定的阈值,则点灯电路使得光源熄灯。
也可以构成为:若伴随转体角的变化更新目标光量,则点灯电路使得光源的光量缓慢地向更新后的目标光量变化。由此,当突然转动方向盘场合等,能防止视野明暗急剧变化,能提高安全性。
本发明的另一形态也涉及车辆用灯具。该车辆用灯具包括:灯具单元,生成聚光地照射远处的聚光;点灯电路,点亮设置于灯具单元的光源;以及转体机构,使得聚光旋转。弯道的曲率半径越小,点灯电路使得光源的光量越低。
根据该形态,在弯道行驶时,能抑制对前方车或自身车辆的眩惑。
本发明的又一形态也涉及车辆用灯具。该车辆用灯具包括:灯具单元,包含反射镜,生成聚光地照射远处的聚光;点灯电路,点亮设置于上述灯具单元的光源;以及转体机构,使得上述反射镜旋转。上述反射镜的转体角越大,上述点灯电路使得上述光源的光量越低。
根据该形态,能抑制对前方车或自身车辆眩惑。

下面,以合适的实施形态为基础一边参照附图一边说明本发明。对于各附图所示的同样或同等的构成要素、部件、处理赋予同样的符号,适当省略重复的说明。又,实施形态不限定发明,仅为示例,实施形态中记述的全部特征或其组合并不局限于本发明的本质。
在本说明书中,所谓“部件A与部件B连接的状态”除了部件A和部件B物理地直接连接场合之外,还包含对于其电连接状态没有实质性的影响或不损害因它们结合而产生的功能或效果的、通过其它部件间接地连接部件A和部件B的场合。
同样地,所谓“部件C设置于部件A和部件B之间的状态”除了部件A和部件C、或部件B和部件C直接连接场合之外,还包含对于它们的电连接状态没有实质性的影响或不损害因它们结合而产生的功能或效果的、通过其它部件间接地连接场合。
图2(a)、(b)是实施形态涉及的车辆用灯具100的立体图。图2(a)表示车辆用灯具100的外观。车辆用灯具100包括近光灯单元102、远光灯单元104、追加远光灯单元106、方向指示灯单元108、车宽灯110及收纳上述各部件的灯体112、罩114。各灯单元的配置或设计每个车种不同,并不特别限定。
追加远光灯单元106是为了提高远处的视认性聚光照射比通常的远光灯单元104更远处的灯。各单元分别包含光源、光学***、点灯电路等,接受来自车辆侧的电池的电力供给,根据来自车辆侧的ECU(Electronic Control Unit电子控制单元)的指令控制点灯/熄灯或光量。在本实施形态中,追加远光灯单元106成为能根据弯道的程度使得光轴左右旋转。由此,期待进一步提高弯道的远处视认性。
图2(b)是表示追加远光灯单元106的立体图。追加远光灯单元106包括光源120、光学***122、转体机构124、以及点灯电路126。光源120是高亮度半导体光源,例如优选激光二极管和荧光体的组合。或者光源120也可以是白色LED、或RGB的LED的组合。光学***122包含透镜、反射镜等,构成为使得在远处形成合适的聚光配光。
转体机构124包含驱动器及其驱动电路等。转体机构124基于来自车辆侧的ECU的指令使得追加远光灯单元106的光轴朝左右方向旋转。点灯电路126供给驱动电流,使得光源120以所期望的亮度发光。
图3是具备实施形态涉及的车辆用灯具100的灯具***300的框图。灯具***300包括电池302、车辆ECU304及车辆用灯具100。车辆设有左右一对的车辆用灯具100,在此仅表示一方。
车辆ECU(Electronic Control Unit电子控制单元)304通过CAN(ControllerArea Network控域网络)总线306等的控制线与车辆用灯具100连接,统一控制车辆用灯具100。从车辆ECU304向车辆用灯具100发送灯的接通、断开的点灯指令S1、表示行驶状况的信息(行驶信息)S2等。
车辆用灯具100包括光源120、转体机构124、点灯电路200、以及灯具ECU210。在图3车辆用灯具100中,仅表示追加远光灯单元106涉及的构成。如上所述,光源120优选激光二极管,但也能使用具有高指向性的其它半导体光源。
点灯电路200与图2(b)的点灯电路126对应,向光源120供给驱动电流(灯电流)ILD,使得光源120发光。点灯电路200包括驱动电路202及控制器204。驱动电路202接受来自控制器204的调光信号S3,向光源120供给与调光信号S3对应的驱动电流(灯电流)ILD。作为驱动电路202,优选使用恒流转换器,将电源电压VDD升压或降压,供给至电源120,同时,将流过光源120的驱动电流ILD稳定化为与调光信号S3对应的目标电流。并不特别限定恒流转换器的连接形态。驱动电路202既可以并用调节驱动电流ILD的电流量的模拟调光和高速地转换驱动电流ILD使得其占空比变化的PWM(脉宽调制)调光,也可以仅进行其中一方。调光信号S3能包含控制模拟调光的信号S3a和控制PWM调光的信号S3b。
控制器204根据来自灯具ECU210的控制信号S4生成调光信号S3。关于控制信号S4将在后面说明。
灯具ECU210包括CPU(Central Processing Unit,中央处理器)212及半导体开关214。CPU212根据来自车辆ECU304的点灯指令S1及行驶信息S2,生成用于控制光源120的控制信号S4。控制信号S4能包含指示光源120的点灯/熄灯的数据S4a和直接或间接地指示光源120的光量的信息S4b。
例如,行驶信息S2包含前方车的有无、车速、转向角等。灯具ECU210在点灯指令S1指示点灯、且前方车的有无、车速、转向角满足所设定条件时,将数据S4a设为点灯电平。行驶信息S2也可进一步包含来自加速度传感器或陀螺传感器的信息(俯仰、侧倾、横摆)、车门的开闭等信息。
半导体开关214设置于从电池302向驱动电路202的电源供给路径上,根据来自CPU212的控制信号S5控制接通、断开。半导体开关214在光源120的点灯状态下设为接通。
又,CPU212基于行驶信息S2生成用于控制转体机构124的旋转角度的转体控制信号S6。CPU212根据基于包含在行驶信息S2的转向角信息、汽车导航信息、照相机信息的弯道检测,或它们的组合,决定转体角θ。转体机构124使得光源120旋转转体控制信号S6指示的转体角θ。
光源120的光量在直道行驶时为最大,因此,在θ=0°取得极大值。点灯电路200使得转体机构124的转体角θ越大,光源120的光量越低,换言之,使得驱动电流ILD减少越多。图4(a)~(f)是表示转体角θ与光量的关系的图。
在图4(a)中,相对于转体角θ,光量线性地减少(i)。例如,正的转体角θ与朝右方向的转体对应,负的转体角θ与朝左方向的转体对应。光量相对于转体角θ=0°既可以左右对称,也可以非对称。
或者也可以相对于转体角θ,以向下凸的曲线减少(ii)。向下凸的曲线也可以是y=1/x或y=e-x等的函数。越明亮,人眼越难以感知光的变化,因此,通过光量高时使得变化量大、光量低时使得变化量小,能实现对人来说自然的明暗变化。
在图4(b)中,当转体角θ包含于0°附近的所设定范围△θ时,以与直道(θ=0°)相同的光量发光,若超出该范围,则光量减少。
在图4(c)中,若转体角θ超出所设定的范围(θ-~θ+),则光量为零,即熄灯。在图4(d)中,若转体角θ超出所设定的范围(θ-~θ+),则光量固定为所设定的下限极限值。
图4(e)为图4(b)与图4(d)的组合。图4(f)为图4(b)与图4(c)的组合。又,也可将图4(b)~(f)的斜面部分置换为如图4(a)的(ii)那样的向下凸的曲线。
基于转体角的光量控制如下所述,既可以在(1)车辆用灯具100中实行,也可以在(2)车辆ECU304中实行。又,在车辆用灯具100中实行场合,既可以在(1A)CPU212中实行,也可以在(1B)控制器204中实行。下面,分别进行说明。
由(1A)CPU212控制
从车辆ECU304向CPU212输入包含转向角、导航信息、照相机信息、弯道的曲率半径R的至少一个的行驶信息S2。CPU212基于行驶信息S2,决定转体角θ,向转体机构124输出转体控制信号S6。又,在CPU212规定表示转体角θ与光量的关系的算式,基于该算式决定光量,生成指示光量的光量信息S4b。点灯电路200基于光量信息S4b点亮光源120。
或者也可以在CPU212准备表示转体角θ与光量的关系的表格,通过参照表格决定光量。在CPU212的光量控制中能利用算式或表格,因此,能灵活地规定转体角与光量的关系。
或者也可以在车辆ECU304决定转体角θ。该场合,控制信号S2可以包含表示转体角θ的数据,CPU212能基于该数据决定光量。
由(1B)控制器204控制
如上所述,由CPU212或车辆ECU304决定转体角θ。CPU212将表示转体角θ的信息(转体角信息S4b)输出至点灯电路200。转体角信息S4b既可以是数字数据,也可以是模拟信号。
控制器204基于转体角信息S4b决定光量。控制器204通过PWM调光或模拟调光的任一个、或它们的组合,控制驱动电流ILD,以便得到决定的光量。
控制器204包含CPU或数字运算处理电路等的场合,能以与1A的CPU212同样的方法决定光量。
控制器204也能由模拟电路构成。图5(a)~(f)是表示控制器204的构成例的电路图。在这些电路图中仅表示与θ﹥0°的范围对应的构成。也可以将模拟电压VS4b作为表示转体角的绝对值的信号。
向图5(a)的控制器204a输入表示转体角信息的模拟电压VS4b。控制器204a包含使得模拟电压VS4b反相放大、生成模拟电压的调光信号VS3的反相放大器220。图5(a)的控制器204a能实现图4(a)的控制特性。
图5(b)的控制器204b是在反相放大器220的基础上包含箝位电路222。箝位电路222箝位调光信号VS3,使得不超过所设定电压VREF。所设定电压VREF规定直道(转体角θ=0°)的稳定灯电流。图5(b)的控制器204b能实现图4(b)的控制特性。
图5(c)的控制器204c是在反相放大器220的基础上具备比较器224。比较器224将模拟电压VS4b与所设定的阈值电压VTH比较,若成为VS4b﹤VTH,则下降其输出。例如,比较器224可以具有开路集电极(开路漏极)形式的输出级。图5(c)的控制器204c能实现图4(c)的控制特性,阈值电压VTH与θ+对应。
图5(d)的控制器204d在反相放大器220的基础上具备箝位电路226。箝位电路226箝位调光信号VS3使得不低于所设定电压VMIN。图5(d)的控制器204d能实现图4(d)的控制特性。
图5(e)的控制器204e在反相放大器220的基础上具备箝位电路222及箝位电路226。箝位电路222箝位调光信号VS3使得不超过所设定电压VREF。箝位电路226箝位调光信号VS3使得不低于所设定电压VMIN。图5(e)的控制器204e能实现图4(e)的控制特性。
图5(f)的控制器204f在反相放大器220的基础上具备箝位电路222及比较器224。图5(f)的控制器204f能实现图4(f)的控制特性。
若突然转动方向盘、转体角θ急剧变化,则光量急剧变化。或者在实行图4(c)或图4(f)的控制的场合,若发生跨越θ+(或θ-)的转体动作,则光量急剧变化。由此,视野的明暗急剧变化,给驾驶者带来不协调感。于是,若伴随转体动作光量信息S4b得到更新,则点灯电路200使得光源120的光量向更新后的目标光量缓慢变化。例如,若设置0.1~10秒、优选0.2~5秒的渐变过渡时间,则成为自然的光量变化,能减轻给驾驶者带来的不协调感,同时确保必要的视野。渐变控制能通过在控制器204追加使得模拟电压VS3(调光信号S3)迟钝的渐变电路实现。渐变电路可以是CR积分器(低通滤波器)。由CPU212控制光量场合,通过使用CPU212内部的计数器及数字滤波器,能实行这种渐变控制。检测到前方车时,为防止给前方车带来眩光,最好无延迟地直接熄灯。
以上是车辆用灯具100的构成。接下来说明其动作。图6(a)~(c)是模式化地表示光量与曲率半径的关系的图。图6(a)表示在直道行驶的情况,图6(b)、(c)表示在弯道行驶的情况。光量的大小以剖面线的稀密程度表示。如图6(a)所示,在直道行驶时,转体角θ为0°,以最大亮度照射车辆前方。如图6(b)所示,在弯道行驶时,转体角θ变大,光量降低。如图6(c)所示,若曲率半径R进一步变小,则转体角θ进一步变大,光量更加降低。
若比较图6(a)~(c),则在图6(a)能在最远处检测到对向车4。图6(b)、(c)是妨碍视线弯道,曲率半径R越小,变得越难以检测到对向车4,检测得知时刻的自身车辆2与对向车4的距离变短。在实施形态涉及的车辆用灯具100中,转体角θ越大,换言之,曲率半径R越小,检测到对向车4时的光源120的光量越低,因此,在从检测到对向车4到熄灯(减光)期间,能抑制眩惑对向车4。
又,如图6(a)~(c)所示,曲率半径R越小,从自身车辆2到被照射体10的距离变得越短,另一方面,曲率半径R越小,光源120的光量越低,因此,能抑制来自被照射体10的反射光给自身车辆2的驾驶者带来的眩惑。
根据本实施形态,使用具体的语句说明了本发明,但本实施形态仅表示本发明的原理、应用,在不脱离权利要求书规定的本发明的思想范围内,对于本实施形态可以有许多变形例及配置的变更。
(第1变形例)
在上述实施形态中,基于转体角θ控制光量,但本发明并不局限于此。例如,也可以点灯电路200根据弯道的曲率半径R控制光源120的光量,具体地说,可以使得曲率半径R越小光源120的光量越低。例如,实行使得转体角θ反映车速的控制的场合,即使行驶在曲率半径R小的弯道,也能产生转体角θ变小的状况。若基于曲率半径R控制光源120的光量,则即使在这样的状况下也能使得光量适当变化。
(第2变形例)
在上述实施形态中,说明了光源120通过转体机构旋转的灯具,但本发明并不局限于此。例如,在将LED或LD等的光照射到反射镜生成聚光的灯具中,也可以通过转体机构使得反射镜旋转。或者本发明的技术思想也能适用于聚光不旋转、光轴固定的灯具。
具体地说,例如,在本发明一实施例的车辆用灯具中,车辆用灯具包括:灯具单元,包含反射镜,生成聚光地照射远处的聚光;点灯电路,点亮设置于上述灯具单元的光源;以及转体机构,使得上述反射镜旋转。在此,上述反射镜的转体角越大,上述点灯电路使得上述光源的光量越低。
(第3变形例)
在上述实施形态中,说明了将光源120使用于追加远光灯的场合,但本发明并不局限于此。光源120也能利用照射远光灯区域的通常的远光灯用光源。或者光源120也能利用用于照射远光灯区域的至少一部分的光源。
根据上述实施形态,使用具体的语句说明了本发明,但本实施形态仅表示本发明的原理、应用,在不脱离权利要求书规定的本发明的思想范围内,对于本实施形态可以有许多变形例及配置的变更。

Claims (5)

1.一种车辆用灯具,其特征在于:
上述车辆用灯具包括:
灯具单元,生成聚光地照射远处的聚光;
点灯电路,点亮设置于上述灯具单元的光源;以及
转体机构,使得上述聚光旋转;
基于行驶信息,决定上述聚光的转体角;
为了基于上述聚光的转体角决定上述光源的光量,决定向上述光源供给的驱动电流的量;
上述聚光的转体角越大,上述点灯电路使得上述驱动电流的量越低。
2.根据权利要求1中记载的车辆用灯具,其特征在于:
若上述转体角超过所设定的阈值,则上述点灯电路使得上述光源熄灯。
3.根据权利要求1或2记载的车辆用灯具,其特征在于:
若伴随上述转体角的变化更新目标光量,则上述点灯电路使得上述光源的光量缓慢地向更新后的目标光量变化。
4.一种车辆用灯具,其特征在于:
上述车辆用灯具包括:
灯具单元,生成聚光地照射远处的聚光;
点灯电路,点亮设置于上述灯具单元的光源;以及
转体机构,使得上述聚光旋转;
基于行驶信息,决定上述聚光的转体角;
为了基于上述聚光的转体角决定上述光源的光量,决定向上述光源供给的驱动电流的量;
弯道的曲率半径越小,上述点灯电路使得上述驱动电流的量越低。
5.一种车辆用灯具,其特征在于:
上述车辆用灯具包括:
灯具单元,包含反射镜,生成聚光地照射远处的聚光;
点灯电路,点亮设置于上述灯具单元的光源;以及
转体机构,使得上述反射镜旋转;
基于行驶信息,决定上述反射镜的转体角;
为了基于上述聚光的转体角决定上述光源的光量,决定向上述光源供给的驱动电流的量;
上述反射镜的转体角越大,上述点灯电路使得上述驱动电流的量越低。
