一种指纹解锁***(10)，包括指纹检测单元(12)、数据库(14)及解锁模块(16)。指纹检测单元(12)用于采样指纹。数据库(14)存储解锁密码，解锁密码包括预存指纹及预存指纹在指纹检测单元的预存位置。解锁模块(16)判断采样指纹是否为预存指纹及采样指纹在指纹检测单元上的位置与预存指纹在指纹检测单元的预存位置是否一致并在一致时解锁电子装置(100)。较佳实施方式的指纹解锁***(10)，在指纹识别的基础上增加密码解锁，加强安全性。本发明还公开一种电子装置(100)及指纹解锁方法。
