Technical Field

Background
In human consumption activities based on production and life, daily payment is a common consumption mode. Traditional service industries employ attendants to complete the purchase order operation. However, hiring an attendant to complete a purchase order operation obviously consumes a significant amount of manpower and material resources, and requires a significant amount of time to wait for the purchase order during peak consumption periods.
Recently, merchants (restaurants) provide an ordering-payment integrated system, orders of consumers on terminals are transmitted to a kitchen through a network inside the merchants, consumption lists and bills are generated at the background after confirmation of chefs, the consumers feed back to the consumers after completing consumption, and the consumers can pay on a collection terminal and print payment certificates.
However, the order-payment integrated system has high requirements for the merchants, and needs to be equipped with a complete set of equipment for each merchant, which increases the cost of the merchants. The system has no universality, the systems equipped by various merchants have difference, and consumers need to learn again in different merchants.
Therefore, there is a need for a universal, convenient and fast automatic payment method and system.

The embodiments are described below in order to explain the present invention by referring to the figures.
Fig. 1 is a block diagram illustrating a mobile terminal automatic payment system according to the present invention.
As shown in fig. 1, the mobile terminal automatic payment system according to the present invention may include a plurality of merchants 100 (such as merchant a, merchant B, and merchant C shown in fig. 1), an application server 200, a user mobile terminal 300, and a payment platform 400.
Although three merchants are shown in fig. 1, it should be understood that the number of merchants is not limited herein, that is, there may be more merchants in the mobile terminal automated payment system of the present invention.
An identification code is arranged on the consumption unit of each merchant, and the identification code identifies the identity of the merchant and the identity of the consumption unit, namely the merchant id and the consumption unit id. The identification code may be implemented as a two-dimensional code, an identification character, or the like, or a character or a graphic that serves as an identification. Here the consumption unit id may indicate a specific table number, room number, etc., taking a restaurant as an example. For example, an Optical Character Recognition (OCR) module may be installed in the user mobile terminal 300. After the consumer completes consumption, the unit identification characters printed on the consumption unit are recognized by the OCR module on the user mobile terminal 300, and then the recognized unit identification characters are transmitted to the application server 200.
For example, an input unit may be installed in the user mobile terminal 300. The user may also manually input the identification-enabled characters printed on the consuming unit in the input unit of the user mobile terminal 300, and then the identification-enabled characters input by the user mobile terminal 300 are transmitted to the application server 200. The characters can be numbers, letters, symbols, Chinese characters, etc.
The application server 200 plays a role of intermediating information between the merchant 100 and the user mobile terminal 300. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the application server 200 may be configured to receive an identification code identifying a merchant identity and a consumption unit identity, which is sent by the user mobile terminal 300, and send the received identification code to the corresponding merchant 100 to receive consumption list information from the corresponding merchant 100, and return the consumption list information to the user mobile terminal 300. The operation of the application server 200 is described in detail below.
The application server 200, upon receiving the identification code transmitted from the user mobile terminal 300, transmits a consumption list calculation request including the consumption unit id included in the received identification code to the corresponding merchant. After receiving the consumption list calculation request, the corresponding merchant calculates the corresponding consumption list, and returns a consumption list message (including the consumption amount, unit price, discount, total price, etc.) of the consumption unit to the application server 200.
The application server 200 generates an order and returns the generated order to the user mobile terminal 300 after receiving the consumption list information. After the user mobile terminal 300 checks the order, the payment is completed to the payment platform 400, and the payment information is transmitted back to the application server 200.
The application server 200 transmits the received payment information to the corresponding merchant. The merchant returns the confirmation information to the application server 200, and the application server 200 sends the confirmation information as a payment certificate to the user mobile terminal 300. The consumer may leave the merchant or exchange an invoice for the payment instrument.

As shown in fig. 2, in step S201, the user mobile terminal 300 acquires an identification code set on a consuming unit of a corresponding merchant. In step S204, the corresponding merchant 100 calculates the corresponding consumption list after receiving the consumption list calculation request.
In step S205, the corresponding merchant 100 returns the calculated consumption list information (including the consumption amount, unit price, discount, total price, etc.) to the application server 200.

In step S207, the application server 200 returns the generated order to the user mobile terminal 300.

The application server 200 transmits the received payment information to the corresponding merchant 100 at step S210.
In step S211, the merchant 100 returns confirmation information to the application server 200.
The application server 200 transmits the confirmation information as a payment voucher to the user mobile terminal 300 at step S212. The consumer may leave the merchant or exchange an invoice for the payment instrument.
As described above, the invention inserts an intermediate layer of application server between the user mobile terminal and the merchant system, so that the user mobile terminal does not need to directly interact with the merchant system, thereby improving the universality and the security of the system.
Because the payment list in the invention is generated by the merchant system, the application server only plays a role of transfer, and the commodity does not need to be registered on the server. Therefore, the cost of registering and updating commodity information on the server by the merchant is reduced. Therefore, the method is very suitable for goods/services and application scenes with fast price change.
By the uniform and merchant-independent payment platform, the invention is convenient for consumers to use and is easy to form fixed payment habits; and the waiting time required by the purchase order is greatly shortened. For merchants, the investment cost of the order-payment self-service system is saved, and the merchants only need to provide corresponding interfaces according to the API (application programming interface) requirements of the application server.
In addition, the mobile terminal automatic payment system can be applied to restaurants and can also be applied to consumption places such as KTVs. The invention is suitable for application scenarios of inconvenient printing of two-dimensional codes on a single commodity (for example, the commodity is a certain service) and consumption of a plurality of commodities at a time (namely payment is calculated by a consumption unit instead of a single commodity).
