技术领域
本发明涉及一种用于支撑车辆车轮的车轮滚动轴承单元。
背景技术
用于支撑车轮的车轮滚动轴承单元使用于车辆,例如汽车。如图5中所示,此车轮滚动轴承单元在某些情况下装备有:内轴101,内轴101具有凸缘100,车辆的制动转子和车轮安装在凸缘100上;外环102,外环102固定至车辆侧并且与内轴101同心地布置;多个滚珠103,多个滚珠103成双排地可旋转地设置在内轴101与外环102之间;密封构件104,密封构件104用于严密地密封形成在内轴101与外环102之间的环形空隙;以及保持器105,保持器105用于将多个滚珠103保持在圆周方向上的预定间隔处(例如,参考专利文献1)。

近年来,从经济效益和节能角度看,上述车轮滚动轴承单元越来越多地要求具有较低旋转扭矩。
为了满足此要求,设想如下措施:使出于预防性的目的已经设定为较大的密封构件104的干涉/压缩余量尽可能地小以减小在密封构件104与内轴101之间的摩擦;但是,值得关注的是,如上所述的油脂泄漏可能会发生。
因此,已经期望这样一种措施:即使密封构件104的干涉小以减小旋转扭矩,也能够防止油脂泄漏。
考虑到这些情况而做出本发明,并且本发明的目的是提供一种车轮滚动轴承单元,即使用于密封内环与外环之间的空隙的密封构件的干涉小,该车轮滚动轴承单元也能够防止油脂泄漏。
解决问题的手段

接下来,将参照附图对根据本发明的优选的实施方式进行描述。图1为示出根据本发明的实施方式的车轮滚动轴承单元的构型的截面图。此车轮滚动轴承单元10用作用于可旋转地支撑诸如汽车的车辆的车轮的设备。
车轮滚动轴承单元10装备有:内轴12,内轴12充当内环构件;外环11,充当外环构件的外环11同心地布置在内轴12的外周侧上;滚珠13,滚珠13充当成双排设置并且可旋转地布置在外环11与内轴12之间的多个滚动元件;一对密封构件15,用于严密地密封形成在外环11与内轴12之间的环形空隙的两端处的开口;一对保持器20,一对保持器20用于在圆周方向上保持滚珠13,由此构成双排角接触滚珠轴承。

密封构件15具有环形密封缘(未示出),环形密封缘固定至外环11侧并且环形密封缘的末端压至内轴12的外周表面并且与内轴12的外周表面滑动接触,并且此密封缘严密地密封形成在外环11与内轴12之间的环形空间的两端处的开口——用于润滑相应构件的油脂已经引入在环形空间中,由此防止油脂漏到外面。

关于如上述构造的车轮滚动轴承单元10,由于凹向在径向方向上的外侧的凹部25形成在成对保持器20的每个臂部22的内周表面22b上,在内轴12旋转并且油脂由于旋转的离心力附着至内周表面22b的情况下,油脂易于保持在凹部25的底部处的内周表面22b上,凹部25的底部具有最大内圆周直径并且受到最大离心力。因此,抑制附着至内周表面22b的油脂从保持器20的外端部22c朝向轴向方向上的外侧甩出;另外,当附着至内周表面22b的油脂量增加到油脂不能保持在凹部25内部的程度时,油脂返回到径向方向上的内侧,由此再次润滑各部。因此,油脂能在保持器20的内周表面22b与内轴12的外周表面之间循环,并且油脂能被抑制流到轴向方向上的外侧。因此,即使用于严密地密封内环与外环之间的空隙的密封构件15的干涉小,也能防止油脂泄漏。
除此之外,关于本实施方式,能通过减小密封构件15的干涉来减小车轮滚动轴承单元10的旋转扭矩。
另外,在此实施方式中,由于凹部25构造成包括倾斜表面25a,倾斜表面25a倾斜成从保持器20的内周表面22b中的轴向外端部22c向轴向方向上的内侧在直径上逐渐扩大,保持在凹部25中的油脂能朝向径向方向上的内侧甩出,由此,油脂能在保持器20的内周表面22b与内轴12的外周表面之间更可靠地循环。
另外,在此实施方式中,由于突出部26形成在作为保持器20的轴向内端部的环形部21上——突出部26与形成在内轴12的外周表面中的周向槽12c的位差部接合使得保持器20在轴向方向上被保持,因此即使油脂从保持器20的内周表面22b返回至径向方向上的内周侧并且保持在周向槽12c中,凭借保持器20的旋转、利用移动到周向槽12c内侧的突出部26能刮出周向槽12c内侧的油脂,由此油脂能有效地循环。
另外,由于保持器20的环形部21的内周表面21a的轴向外端边缘形成为直径上大于内轴12的外周表面,通过使用突出部26刮出的周向槽12c中的油脂快速地排出至周向槽12c的外侧。

Claims (3)

1.一种车轮滚动轴承单元,包括:
内环构件,在所述内环构件的一端形成有用于安装车轮的凸缘,
外环构件,所述外环构件同心地布置在所述内环构件的外周侧;
多个滚动元件,所述多个滚动元件成双排设置并且布置在所述内环构件与所述外环构件之间;
一对保持器,所述一对保持器沿着所述多个滚动元件的两排布置以在圆周方向上保持所述滚动元件;以及
密封构件,所述密封构件用于密闭地密封位于形成在所述内环构件与所述外环构件之间的环形空间的两端处的开口,所述环形空间中已引入用于润滑相应构件的油脂,所述车轮滚动轴承单元的特征在于,
在所述一对保持器中的每一个的内周表面上、在从轴向方向上的外端部至内端部的范围中形成有凹向径向方向上的外侧以保持所述油脂的凹部。
2.根据权利要求1所述的车轮滚动轴承单元,其中,所述凹部包括倾斜表面,所述倾斜表面倾斜成从所述保持器的所述内周表面中的所述外端部向轴向方向上的内侧直径逐渐扩大。
3.根据权利要求1或2所述的车轮滚动轴承单元,其中,在所述保持器的轴向方向上的所述内端部处形成有突出部,所述突出部与形成在所述内环构件的外周表面中的周向槽的位差部接合,使得所述保持器在轴向方向上被保持。
