Description

面光源以及可挠性面光源
技术领域
本发明是有关于一种光源,且特别是有关于一种面光源。
背景技术
由于发光二极管(Light-EmittingDiode,LED)具有高效率、长寿命等的特点,因此发光二极管已经被广泛应用于指示灯箱、照明光板、背光模块、广告灯板等产品中。由于发光二极管为点光源,若要将发光二极管转换为面光源,其主要瓶颈在于如何将点光源转换成均匀的面光源。在现有技术中,发光二极管多半以阵列排列的方式提供所需的面光源,例如直下式设计或者侧投式设计。阵列排列的发光二极管所提供的光线可通过透镜、导光板(lightguideplate)、扩散膜(diffusivefilm)、增亮膜(BrightnessEnhancementFilm,BEF)、微透镜膜(micro-lensfilm)等光学薄膜的叠层而被均匀化。
一般侧投式设计的面光源使用数量较少的发光二极管,并且通过导光板将发光二极管所提供的光线转换为面光源。侧投式设计的面光源的厚度较薄,所提供的照明面积也较受限制,因此主要是应用于手机、个人数字助理(PDA)、全球定位***(GPS)等。
一般直下式设计的面光源需使用数量较多的发光二极管,其能够提供的照明面积较大且亮度较高(光线利用率可达约90%),但是直下式设计的面光源的厚度较厚。
不论是侧投式设计的面光源还是直下式设计的面光源,二者都不具备可挠曲的特性(flexibility)。因此,如何提供具备可挠曲特性且发光均匀度好的面光源,实为现阶段发展的重点。
发明内容
本发明提供了一种面光源以及可挠面光源,其具有良好的出光均匀度。
本发明提供了一种面光源,其包括线路衬底、多组侧向发光源以及导光扩散层。侧向发光源阵列排列于线路衬底上,并与线路衬底电性连接。导光扩散层覆盖线路衬底以及侧向发光源,其中导光扩散层被区分为多个阵列排列且彼此连接的导光扩散单元,各个导光扩散单元分别对应于其中一组侧向发光源的照明范围,各组侧向发光源至少包括二侧向发光源,而各组侧向发光源中的二侧向发光源分别沿着二不同方向提供光线至其中一个导光扩散单元中,且各侧向发光源分别朝向单一个导光扩散单元发光。
本发明另提供了一种可挠性面光源,其包括线路衬底、多组侧向发光源以及导光扩散层。侧向发光源阵列排列于线路衬底上,并与线路衬底电性连接。导光扩散层覆盖线路衬底以及侧向发光源,其中导光扩散层被区分为多个阵列排列且彼此连接的导光扩散单元,各个导光扩散单元分别对应于其中一组侧向发光源的照明范围,各组侧向发光源至少包括二侧向发光源,而各组侧向发光源中的二侧向发光源分别沿着二不同方向提供光线至其中一个导光扩散单元中,且各侧向发光源分别朝向单一个导光扩散单元发光。此外,线路衬底包括可挠性线路衬底,而导光扩散层具备可挠性。
本发明不但可以拼接的方式制造出大尺寸的面光源,且所制造出的面光源在弯曲时具有良好的出光均匀度。
为让本发明的上述特征能更明显易懂,下文特举实施例,并配合所附附图作详细说明如下。

具体实施方式
图1A为本发明一实施例的面光源的俯视示意图,图1B为沿着图1A中的A-A’剖线而得的剖面示意图,而图1C为面光源被挠曲之后的剖面示意图。请参照图1A、图1B与图1C,本实施例的面光源100包括线路衬底110、反射层120、多组侧向发光源130、导光扩散层140以及至少一光学膜片150。反射层120配置于线路衬底110上,多组侧向发光源130阵列排列于线路衬底110上,并与线路衬底110电性连接。导光扩散层140覆盖反射层120以及多组侧向发光源130,其中导光扩散层140被区分为多个阵列排列且彼此连接的导光扩散单元142,各个导光扩散单元142分别对应于其中一组侧向发光源130的照明范围,各组侧向发光源130至少包括二侧向发光源132、134,而此二侧向发光源132、134分别沿着二不同方向提供光线至其中一个导光扩散单元142中,且各个侧向发光源132、134分别朝向单一个导光扩散单元142发光。此外,光学膜片150配置于导光扩散层140上。在本实施例中,光学膜片150包括增亮膜和/或扩散膜(diffusivefilm)。
值得注意的是,本实施例中的反射层120以及光学膜片150为选择性的构件,此领域具有通常知识者可以根据实际的设计需求而省略反射层120以及光学膜片150。详言之,当省略反射层120时,导光扩散层140会覆盖线路衬底110。
在一可行的实施例中,导光扩散层140可进一步包括多个分布于导其中的散射粒子(未绘示)。
值得注意的是,图1B中从侧向发光源132、134出射的光线仅是用于示意,通常,从侧向发光源132、134出射的光线会具有一适当的发散角。
在本实施例中,线路衬底110可为可挠性线路衬底(flexiblecircuitsubstrate),而反射层120、导光扩散层140以及光学膜片150都具备可挠性,如图1C所绘示。由于线路衬底110、反射层120、导光扩散层140以及光学膜片150都具备可挠性,因此本实施例的面光源100具备可挠性。换句话说,本实施例的面光源100可以配合环境或所欲贴附的物品外形而弯曲,在安装上比较不受到环境或所欲贴附的物品外形的限制。
在本发明的其他实施例中,线路衬底110也可为硬质线路衬底(rigidcircuitsubstrate)。举例而言,硬质线路衬底可为金属核心印刷电路板(MetalCorePrintedCircuitBoard,MCPCB)、FR-4印刷电路板、FR-5印刷电路板或其他印刷电路板。当线路衬底110为硬质线路衬底时,反射层120、导光扩散层140以及光学膜片150可以选用的材质便无须局限于可挠性材质,因此可选用的材质较为多样。
在本实施例中,反射层120可为金属反射镀膜(metalreflectivecoating)、金属反射膜(metalreflectivefilm)、白反射片(whitesheet)等。此外,设置于线路衬底110上的侧向发光源132、134例如为表面黏着型态的发光二极管封装(SMDtypeLEDpackages),且侧向发光源132、134例如为侧向发光型态发光二极管封装(side-viewLEDpackage)。在本实施例中,侧向发光源132、134可透过本身的封装型态提供侧向传递的光线,或者透过额外的反射罩改变出光方向以提供侧向传递的光线。值得注意的是,本发明不限定侧向发光源132、134的型态,任何能够提供侧向传递的光线的侧向发光源都可应用于本发明中。
图2A为本发明一实施例的导光扩散层的俯视示意图,而图2B为本发明一实施例的导光扩散层的立体透视示意图。请参照图1A、图1B、图1C、图2A以及图2B,本实施例的导光扩散层140中的多个导光扩散单元142一体成型,举例而言,导光扩散层140例如可通过射出成形(moldinjection)的方式制作。在本实施例中,各个导光扩散单元142分别为菱形结构体或矩形结构体,而各组侧向发光源130中的两个侧向发光源132、134对应于菱形结构体(或矩形结构体)的其中一组对角而设置。更具体而言,同一组侧向发光源130中的侧向发光源132与侧向发光源134沿着相反方向分别提供光线至对应的导光扩散单元142中。由于同一组侧向发光源130中的侧向发光源132、134具有适当的发散角,因此侧向发光源132与侧向发光源134所提供的照明范围相当于单一个导光扩散单元142的分布范围。在本实施例中,侧向发光源132、134的发散角与导光扩散单元142的几何形状相关,此领域普通技术人员可根据侧向发光源132、134的发散角来决定每个导光扩散单元142的几何形状,因此本发明不限定侧向发光源132、134的发散角以及导光扩散单元142的几何形状。
如图1B、图1C、图2A与图2B所示,本实施例中的各个导光扩散单元142分别具有多个扩散微结构142a,这些扩散微结构142a能够使各组侧向光源130提供至各个导光扩散单元142的光线被散射。换句话说,经过各个导光扩散单元142的扩散微结构142a散射后的光线会从各个导光扩散单元142的顶面出射。
图3A与图3B分别为本实施例的不同导光扩散单元的剖面示意图。请参照图3A与图3B,在本实施例中,扩散微结构142a为条状沟槽,且扩散微结构142a的尺寸(高度与宽度)由导光扩散单元142的中心往侧向发光源132以及侧向发光源134的方向递减。具体而言,侧向发光源132与侧向发光源134的连线实际上垂直于扩散微结构142a(即条状沟槽)的延伸方向。
如图3A所示,扩散微结构142a为V型条状沟槽(V-grooves),扩散微结构142a以等间距排列,且扩散微结构142a的高度由中心往两侧递减。举例而言,扩散微结构142a的排列间距为2厘米,而扩散微结构142a的高度从1.2厘米逐渐递减为0.2厘米(即1.2厘米、1.0厘米、0.8厘米、0.6厘米、0.4厘米、0.2厘米)。
如图3B所示,扩散微结构142a为V型条状沟槽(V-grooves),扩散微结构142a以非等间距排列,且扩散微结构142a的高度由中心往两侧递减。举例而言,扩散微结构142a的高度从0.7厘米逐渐递减为0.1厘米(即0.7厘米、0.5厘米、0.3厘米0.1厘米),其中高度分别为0.7厘米与0.5厘米的二扩散微结构142a的间距为3.5微米,高度分别为0.5厘米与0.3厘米的二扩散微结构142a的间距为2.5微米,而高度分别为0.3厘米与0.1厘米的二扩散微结构142a的间距为2微米。
在一可行的实施例中,扩散微结构142a例如是半圆柱状沟槽(semi-cylindricalgrooves),且扩散微结构142a的高度由中心往两侧递减。举例而言,各个半圆柱状沟槽可以沿着一直线路径或一曲线路径延伸。在另一可行的实施例中,扩散微结构142a例如为半球状沟槽(semi-sphericalgrooves),且半球状沟槽的高度由中心往两侧递减。
图4为本发明另一实施例的拼接式面光源的示意图。请参照图4,本实施例的拼接式光源200包括多个前述的面光源100,其中多个面光源100彼此连接以构成更大面积的拼接式光源200。
在本实施例的拼接式光源200中,面光源100的数量以及面光源100排列方式可根据拼接式光源200的总面积以及形状而有所变化,本发明不限定面光源100的数量以及面光源100排列方式。
虽然本发明已以实施例公开如上,然其并非用于限定本发明,任何所属技术领域中普通技术人员,在不脱离本发明的精神和范围内,当可作细微的更改与修饰,因此本发明的保护范围当视权利要求所界定者为准。

Claims (19)

1.一种面光源,包括:
线路衬底;
多组侧向发光源,阵列排列于该线路衬底上,并与该线路衬底电性连接;
导光扩散层,覆盖该线路衬底以及该些侧向发光源,其中该导光扩散层被区分为多个阵列排列且彼此连接的导光扩散单元,各该导光扩散单元分别对应于其中一组侧向发光源的照明范围,各组侧向发光源至少包括二侧向发光源,而各组侧向发光源中的该二侧向发光源分别沿着二不同方向提供光线至其中一个导光扩散单元中,且各该侧向发光源分别朝向单一个导光扩散单元发光;
其中,各个导光扩散单元分别具有多个扩散微结构,且扩散微结构的高度和宽度由导光扩散单元的中心往两侧的侧向发光源的方向递减。
2.根据权利要求1所述的面光源,其中该线路衬底包括硬质线路衬底。
3.根据权利要求1所述的面光源,其中该导光扩散层中的该些导光扩散单元一体成型。
4.根据权利要求1所述的面光源,其中各该导光扩散单元为菱形结构体,而各组侧向发光源对应于该菱形结构体的其中一组对角而设置。
5.根据权利要求1所述的面光源,其中各该导光扩散单元为矩形结构体,而各组侧向发光源对应于该矩形结构体的其中一组对角而设置。
6.根据权利要求1所述的面光源,其中各组侧向发光源中的该二侧向发光源分别沿着相反方向提供光线至对应的导光扩散单元中。

8.根据权利要求1所述的面光源,还包括:

11.一种可挠性面光源,包括:
线路衬底;
多组侧向发光源,阵列排列于该线路衬底上,并与该线路衬底电性连接;
导光扩散层,覆盖该线路衬底以及该些侧向发光源,其中该导光扩散层被区分为多个阵列排列且彼此连接的导光扩散单元,各该导光扩散单元分别对应于其中一组侧向发光源的照明范围,各组侧向发光源至少包括二侧向发光源,而各组侧向发光源中的该二侧向发光源分别沿着二不同方向提供光线至其中一个导光扩散单元中,且各该侧向发光源分别朝向单一个导光扩散单元发光;
其中该线路衬底包括可挠性线路衬底,而该导光扩散层具备可挠性;
其中,每一个导光扩散单元具有多个扩散微结构,且扩散微结构的高度和宽度由导光扩散单元的中心往两侧的侧向发光源递减。
12.根据权利要求11所述的可挠性面光源,其中该导光扩散层中的该些导光扩散单元一体成型。
13.根据权利要求11所述的可挠性面光源,其中各该导光扩散单元为菱形结构体,而各组侧向发光源对应于该菱形结构体的其中一组对角而设置。
14.根据权利要求11所述的可挠性面光源,其中各该导光扩散单元为矩形结构体,而各组侧向发光源对应于该矩形结构体的其中一组对角而设置。
15.根据权利要求11所述的可挠性面光源,其中各组侧向发光源中的该二侧向发光源分别沿着相反方向提供光线至对应的导光扩散单元中。
16.根据权利要求11所述的可挠性面光源,其中多个扩散微结构使各组侧向光源提供至各该导光扩散单元的光线被散射。
17.根据权利要求11所述的可挠性面光源,还包括:
反射层,配置于该线路衬底上,其中该反射层具备可挠性。
18.根据权利要求11所述的可挠性面光源,还包括:
多个分布于导光扩散层中的散射粒子。
19.根据权利要求11所述的可挠性面光源,还包括:
光学膜片,配置于该导光扩散层上,其中该光学膜片具备可挠性。
