Abstract

本发明涉及用作插接管和承插管问接头的密封垫。密封垫1具有一个锚定结构2和一个密封体部3,该锚定结构2具有一个锚定顶部5,在该锚定顶部5配置以凹槽27。应用该密封垫易于使其变形的特点以实现将该密封垫放置于承插口中。

Description

本发明涉及一种由单一硬度的弹性体制成的、用作插接管和承插管间接头的密封垫。该密封垫具有一个压紧体和一个从该密封垫的径向向外表面凸出的环形锚定顶部。
该密封垫意图在待连接的两条管中之一条管的承插口的内部表面和两条管中之另一条管的插接端的外部表面间径向压紧。
为将该密封垫放置在其意图放置的承插口内,须将该密封垫加以弯曲,在某种情况下,这种弯曲由于密封垫的固有的硬度是难以实现的。
然而,这种类型的密封垫应当根据以下几点而实现良好密封功能:
-待连接的管子的尺寸公差;
-待连接的一管子相对于另一管子的偏心率;
-在管线中流动的流体压力。
如上所述的一种密封垫可由法国专利2,554,205号中获知,其中锚定顶部在相对于密封垫的内部表面的径向向内方向上由一环形压紧根部所延伸。
虽然这种密封垫可有效地实现良好的密封作用,但看来由于其硬度的关系使之难以将其弯曲,因此意图将它放置于待安置它的承插口中比弯曲该密封垫本身还更加困难,特别是当使用直径小于250毫米的管子时,困难尤甚。
因此,本发明的目的在于提供一种具有用以在一承接口锚定所述密封垫的顶部,该顶部使此密封垫易于定位在意图容纳该密封垫的承插口中。
本发明的目的在于提供一种弹性体制成的意图安装于一种管子的承插口的密封垫,该密封垫具有一个锚定结构及一个通过径向压缩起作用的密封体,该锚定结构由一个位于该密封垫的径向向外表面的锚定顶部和相对于该密封垫形成的径向突出物所组成,在该密垫的径向向外表面上的该锚定顶部中提供以凹槽。
参照仅作为非限定性实例的附图便可从下述说明书对本发明的特点和优点得到了解。其中:
图1示出本发明的密封垫的部分轴向截面视图;
图2示出由本发明的密封垫和插接端及承插口组成的密封接头;
图3为本发明的密封垫的示意图;
图4为本发明的另一个可供选择的密封垫的视图。
如由图1中见到的那样,本发明的密封垫1在其X-X轴向上具有一个轴向长度为L2的锚定结构2和一个沿X-X轴延伸着锚定结构2的轴向长度为L3的密封体3,一个连接着该锚定结构2和该密封体3的轴向长度为L4的中间连接结构4。
锚定结构2的轴向长度L2为密封垫1的总轴向长度L1的25%至35%。
更具体地,锚定结构2的体积为密封垫1的总体积的25%至35%之间。
密封垫1有一个径向向外表面,该表面构成锚定结构2的锚定顶部5,该锚定顶部5呈直径为D1的圆柱形表面,并且通过平面的或者对着密封体3收敛的圆锥形微截锥形表面7及一曲面8与连接结构4的截锥形表面6相连。
该截锥形表面6由密封体3的一圆柱形表面9沿X-X轴方向延伸。
如图1所见,表面6是朝密封体3开放的圆锥形,表面6、7、8构成一个凹面,表面7和8构成一个高度等于(H)的一个侧面,其内径 因此等于(D1-2×H)。
如图1所见,密封体3的圆柱形表面9的直径D2小于或等于D1而大于(D1-2×H)。
密封垫1在其内表面有一个环形支撑体10,由锚定顶部5的径向向内延伸,即与锚定顶部5相对。
这个环形支撑体10是由直径D11的圆柱形内表面11和X-X轴的截锥形进入面12组成,此进入面12经过沿X-X轴方向上的微截锥形表面13与锚定顶部5相连。
密封体3在其靠近环形支撑体10的内表面处有一个顶部半角约为40°的截锥形表面14,该截锥形表面14是对着锚定结构2开放的圆锥体,紧接着为一个第二圆柱形内表面15,该圆柱形内表面15以X-X轴为轴且其内径为D12,该圆柱形表面终止于顶部半角为10°至20°间对着锚定结构2开放的圆锥体的截锥形表面17上。
内表面15的内径D12小于环形支撑体10的表面11的直径D11。
与锚定结构2的面13相对的密封体3的端部横切面是凸起部16,相对于这个横切面而言呈轴向凸出,两个面25和26在凸起部16的两侧构成所述横切面的一部份。
表面26与表面17形成一个小三角形唇部18,平面的或者垂直于X-X轴的微截锥形表面25,连接在密封体3的圆柱形外表面9上。
位于密封垫1的内表面上的密封体3和环形支撑体10之间的环形凹槽19将支撑体10的内表面11与密封体3的截锥形内表面14相连接并构成连接结构4的极限内径。
如图1所见,由支撑体10的表面11和环形凹槽19构成的棱边与从侧面限定锚定顶部5的表面7成直角。
在垂直于凹槽19和曲面8处的密封垫1的最小厚度e和锚定顶部5的高度H之间的比值为1.3至2.5。
更具体地说锚定顶部5的高度H和密封体厚度E之间的比应当大于0.2,使得由锚定顶部5结合环形支撑体10所保证的锚定作用能得到充分保持。
H/E比值以0.35至0.38之间较好。
此外,考虑到使密封垫1的压缩比合理,避免构成密封垫1的弹性体过早地老化,同时保证在密封垫应该吸收的公差范围内有有效地密封,已经指出如果A表示垂直于锚定顶部5和支撑体10的密封垫1的厚度,应该一方面使A/E比值为0.80至1,而以0.85至0.95为更好;另一方面(D11-D12)/(2×E)的比值应该大于0.18,而以0.2至0.3为更好。
如可从图2见到的那样,如上所述类型的密封垫1是意图用以将装在要连接的管子沿X-X轴方向上的承插口30内部的。
锚定顶部5是装纳在所述承插口30的一个凹槽32中,密封垫1的表面6、7、8和9与承插口30的相应表面接触。
为将本发明的密封垫安装在其承插口中,将密封垫弯曲,例如用手或用可携带式或固定式工具将密封垫弯曲,直至将该密封垫变形到能适宜于放置入该承插口为止。
该密封垫通常经过使其变形成心形线,换句话说,形成由一个凹入部分的两个分立的瓣状体。
具体地说,以上所述的这种类型密封垫是有一定的挺性,即如果想要用手将这种密封垫放置在承插口中,则这样做将是非常困难的。
已发现在不用改变该密封垫的性能情况下,也可能通过在该密封垫的外表面上的锚定顶部中提供以多个在这表面上开口的并在该锚定顶部的整个轴向长度上掏空的凹槽27而使此密封垫的挺性降低。
如图1和3所示的本发明的较佳实施例中,每个凹槽27的深度可达到锚定顶部5的那种高度H,而以大于0.66×H为最好。
此外,如图3所示,每个凹槽27在垂直于密封垫的X-X轴的截断平 面内具有一个圆弧的截面。
最后,为使该密封垫的挺性充份的降低,至少需提供以3个凹槽27,该凹槽有规则地分布在锚定顶部5的周界上,在图3所示的实施例中共有6个凹槽27。
另一种可供选择的实施例示于图4中,该密封垫意图用以接纳金属***件33,该***件用以将待连接的一条管子的插接端锁定在提供以一密封垫的另一条待连接到前述管子的管子中的承插口。
的确,例如从法国专利2,621,376中已知有一种密封垫,该密封垫具有用以将该密封垫锚定在承插口中的锚定顶部,在该密封垫上有规则地分布的由金属***件制成的锁定元件在其锚定顶部的范围内径向地***而完全通过该密封垫。
当将这种类型密封放置在承插口中时,除以上所述的有关密封垫的挺性所造成的问题之外,配置在密封垫上的***件33,当将密封垫弯曲时,这些***件企图脱离该密封垫。
这种现象在密封垫的径向外部区域内特别显著,这是由于在密封垫被弯曲时,密封垫的这个径向外部区域是被张紧的。
由于采用了凹槽27,本发明的密封垫除能够降低该密封垫的挺性外也能够将应力集中到这些凹槽的区域内,因此能显著地降低这些应力,特别是降低在该锁定***件33和包围着该***件而形成该密封垫的弹性体间接触表面的区域里的张紧力。
因此,上述***件脱离密封垫的现象得以避免使其不致发生。
因此,通过本发明可以制造一个具有一个锚定顶部和一个起着径向压紧作用的密封体的密封垫,该密封垫的挺性比先有技术的密封垫的挺性较小,却同时具有完善的密封功能。

Claims (4)

1、一种用以安装在一管子中的承插口(30)中的弹性体材料制成的密封垫(1),该密封垫(1)具有一锚定结构(2)和一起着径向压紧作用的密封体(3),该锚定结构(2)具有一锚定顶部(5)位于该密封垫(1)的径向向外表面并形成相对于该密封垫为径向突出的部分,其特征在于,在该密封垫径向向外表面上锚定顶部(5)内提供以在其周界上相间隔的凹槽(27),该凹槽(27)延伸在该顶部(5)的轴向方向上,并容许该垫(1)于将之***承插管时使其变形成心形线状。
2、按照权利要求1所述的密封垫(1),其特征在于,锚定顶部(5)的高度H与密封体(3)的厚度E之比值大于0.2。
3、按照上述各项权利要求中之任意一项所述的密封垫(1),其特征在于,在该锚定顶部(5)的周界上至少提供以3个有规则地分布的凹槽(27)。
4、按照上述各项权利要求1中的任意一项所述的密封垫(1),其特征在于,该密封垫(1)在其内部表面上具有一环形支撑体(10)作为该锚定顶部(5)的一个径向向内的延伸体。
