背景技术
本发明涉及一种有源电框架,并且更具体地涉及一种电气汇流条、以及向容纳在汇流条内部的导电材料给予功率和/或信号的电互连装置。
当前的室内建筑环境由固定照明设备及各种各样的电气设备支配,这些设备通常为建筑的使用寿命而不是居住者变化的需求而被布线。建筑设计者及所有者越来越希望寻求使得建筑更具适应性并且使建筑集成能改善建筑的能量效率的基础设施、装备及家具的***。通常来说,在诸如照明设备的内部控制及***设备中越来越多地使用安全的低压直流(DC)功率和/或信号是以提高适应性和能量效率为目的的转变。

发明内容
提供一种用于将功率和/或信号带给电动设备的电气框架***。该***包括至少一个纵向延伸的电气汇流条。该汇流条具有外壳,外壳包括一对定位于其中的导体。每个导体具有对设备的连接提供连续导电路径的配合面。***还包括将电带给导体而不干扰导体的配合面以致产生不可用于电连接的点的装置。

具体实施方式
本发明针对一种用于将电带给内部汇流条而不产生阻入区域的装置。为了说明的目的,图1示出了室内房屋空间101的一部分,该室内房屋空间包括具有形成网格框架105的多个支撑网格件104的天花板***。尽管网格框架105被示出为天花板***的一部分,任何使用网格框架的***,包括地板及墙壁,可使用本发明的技术。这些***105通常包括诸如装饰瓷砖、吸音瓷砖、隔离瓷砖、灯光、暖通空调(HVAC)通风孔的部件,其定位在由支撑网格件104限定的网格开口中。通过将低压功率和/或信号源(未示出)与定位在网格框架105的一个或多个支撑件104内的一对导体106和106’(图2)接口连接可提供一种电气总线方式。
已知的支撑网格件104由Armstrong World Industries Inc.以SILHOUETTE命名销售并且示出于图2中。这些SILHOUETTE支撑网格件104通常用在使用扣板(lay-in panel)(具体地讲,具有阶梯型边缘的细节的面板)的吊顶***中。这些纵向延伸的支撑件104包括支撑法兰114从其延伸的细长的垂直网部分112。最好如图4所示,下部支撑法兰114包括限定中空纵向通道122的相对侧壁116;顶壁118;底壁120。纵向开口130形成在底壁120之间,以使得中空纵向通道122能够进入。
如图2中进一步所示,一对纵向延伸的电气导体134、134’可定位在该下部法兰部分114内,其再形成内部汇流条。在所示的示范实施例中,每个导体134、134’被定位成使得每个导体提供可访问的接触表面135、135’(见图4)。
最佳如图4所示,各相对侧壁116包括孔140,其暴露导线134,134’的背部145,145’,否则,其不可访问。这些孔140也可在此称之为“电互连访问槽”。这些电互连访问槽提供了可将电自电源和/或信号源带至导体134,134’的背部145,145’的装置;并且提供了不与连续电气汇流条的接触表面135,135’干扰的区域。更具体地,电源和/或信号源与导体134,134’的连接不会物理地阻碍导体的接触表面135,135’,从而为***设备(诸如灯)的电连接,或因此为其连接器保留通过中空纵向通道122提供的整个导电路径。作为这种配置的结果,***设备和连接器可与网格支撑件104通过通道130在沿着其长度的任意点处相连,即,没有阻入区域。
在包括***设备和面板的网格框架***105中,所述互连访问槽140可能难以被访问。因此,电源和/或信号源通过这些槽140的直接相连可能是不实际的。如图3-7所示,可使用电互连装置150将电带至导体134,134’的背部。
在所示的范例实施例中,电互连装置150(图6和7)包括:平面的三维电路152,例如柔性电路或***模塑电路;以及柔性电路固定器154。为了说明目的,柔性电路显示于图3-6中。柔性电路包括导电材料,例如铜或铝,其充分地嵌入于例如塑料的非导电材料中。柔性电路152可被折叠、搭扣或以其他方式贴附至如图2所示的网格支撑件的顶部部分。
在一个范例实施例中,柔性电路152骑跨在支撑网格件的顶部上。柔性电路沿着垂直网部分的相对侧面向下延伸,使得导电材料的一部分至少局部地暴露,从而与电源和/或信号源电连接。对于这种电源和/或信号源接触区域156的优选区域与支撑件的顶部部分对齐。将接触区域与网格支撑件的顶部部分对齐使得在美国专利申请公开No.2008/0087464中所示及描述的功率输入连接器能多路传输。如美国专利申请公开No.2008/0087464中所示,功率输入连接器与顶部部分(例如支撑件的突起物)相连,并且可用于将电源和/或信号源与柔性电路的暴露导电材料配合,其中,柔性电路与支撑件的顶部部分对齐。
在遍及各个视图所示的范例实施例中,柔性电路的导电材料自网格件的顶部部分向下延伸,直至第二暴露部分与访问槽140对齐。第二暴露部分158(图6)可通过访问槽与导体的背部配合。电阻焊接是一种与这些导电表面配合的范例方法。
柔性电路152可被固定器154保护并保持定位。如所示,“U形”固定器154骑跨在柔性电路的顶部上,从而骑跨在支撑网格件上。固定器154沿着垂直网部分112的两侧向下延伸。柔性电路可折叠或搭扣至柔性电路和网格组件的顶部。固定器优选地由例如模塑塑料的非导电材料组成。固定器可包括护耳160,其可作为柔性电路和导体背部之间的电连接的保护遮盖物。应当注意,固定器消除了使用粘合剂将柔性电路粘至网格件的需要。也应该注意,固定器还提供了凹处162(图6),以便利功率输入连接器的现场放置和正确定位,如美国专利申请公开No.2008/0087464所描述的。该固定器凹处相对于柔性电路正确地定位功率输入连接器,否则其将盲目配合。
尽管已参考优选实施例描述了本发明,但本领域技术人员应理解,在不脱离本发明的范围的情况下可进行各种变化,并且可用等同物替换其中的元件。另外,可做出许多修改,以使特定条件或材料适应于本发明的教导,而不脱离其实质范围。因此,本发明旨在不限于公开的特定实施例作为执行本发明所想到的最佳模式,而是本发明将包括落入所附权利要求书的范围内的所有实施例。
例如,如所有附图所示,绝缘元件170可用于将导体与支撑件绝缘。如图4中最佳所示,绝缘元件170通常符合中空纵向通道122的形状,并且***在导体134、134’和支撑件的下部法兰114的各侧壁116之间。如图所示,绝缘元件170必须包括相应的孔,其与访问槽140呈重叠的关系,从而暴露各导体的背部145、145’。

Claims (5)

1.一种用于将功率和/或信号带给电动设备的电气框架***,该***包括:
至少一个纵向延伸的电气汇流条,该汇流条具有外壳,外壳包括位于其中的一对导体,每个导体具有为设备的连接提供连续导电路径的配合面,以及
将电带给导体而不干扰导体的配合面从而也不产生不可用于电连接的点的装置,
其中,所述外壳包括中空的纵向通道,并且所述一对导***于所述纵向通道内。
2.如权利要求1所述的***,其中,所述汇流条包括纵向延伸的垂直网部分以及从所述垂直网部分的边缘延伸的下部法兰部分。
3.如权利要求1所述的***,所述***包括电互连装置,电互连装置将电带给定位在汇流条内部的导体。
4.如权利要求3所述的***,其中,所述电互连装置包括柔性电路。
5.如权利要求4所述的***,其中,所述电互连装置包括柔性电路保持器,所述柔性电路保持器将所述柔性电路保持定位在汇流条上。
