技术领域
本发明是关于一种连接器组合。
背景技术
通常主板上装设有数条PCI-E(Peripheral Component Interconnect Express,扩展***装置连接端口)插槽,如PCI-E x1、PCI-E x4、PCI-E x8和PCI-E x16插槽,用以与对应PCI-E卡进行插接,以满足使用者的扩展需求。然而,如果使用者要将一较长的PCI-E卡,如PCI-E x16卡,***主板上一空闲的较短的PCI-E插槽,如PCI-E x8插槽,虽然可以实现插接功能,但由于PCI-E卡较长,其固定不稳定,且PCI-E卡上的金手指部分外露于PCI-E插槽,容易受到损坏。
发明内容
鉴于以上,有必要提供一种连接器组合,可以适用固定较长的扩展卡。
一种连接器组合,包括一设有插槽的扩展卡连接器,该插槽贯穿至该扩展卡连接器的一端部,该连接器组合还包括一固定于该扩展卡连接器的该端部的固定件,该固定件设有一与该扩展卡连接器的插槽连通的收容槽,该固定件包括一收容部及一由该收容部的一端部的底部沿长度方向延伸的长条形固定片,该固定片收容于该扩展卡连接器的插槽内并抵接该插槽的底部,该收容槽设置于该收容部并贯穿至该收容部的与该固定片连接的一端部。
相较现有技术,上述连接器组合通过在扩展卡连接器的一端设置具有收容槽的固定件,可收容长度较该扩展卡连接器长的扩展卡,并对该扩展卡进行保护。

具体实施方式
请参照图1与图2,本发明连接器组合1的较佳实施方式包括一PCI-E连接器10及一可装设于该PCI-E连接器10的固定件20。在本实施方式中,该PCI-E连接器10为一PCI-E x8连接器。
该PCI-E连接器10电连接固定于一主板30上。该PCI-E连接器10呈长条状,其包括一顶部12及一垂直于该顶部12的端部13。该顶部12沿长度方向设有一贯穿至该端部13的插槽125,用于卡置一对应的PCI-E卡(在本实施方式中,为一PCI-E x8卡)的底部并与该对应的PCI-E卡的金手指进行电连接。该端部13于该插槽125的两侧分别设有一底部封闭的卡钩133。每一卡钩133包括一朝向相对的卡钩133延伸的L形的钩扣部134。
该固定件20包括一收容部21及一由该收容部21的一端部211的底部沿长度方向延伸的长条形固定片24。该收容部21的顶部向下设有一收容槽213。该收容槽213的一端贯穿至该收容部21的端部211。该收容部21的端部211的两侧向外分别凸伸一卡扣部216。
请参照图3,组装该连接器组合1时,将该固定件20置于该PCI-E连接器10的上方,使该固定件20的两卡扣部216对准该PCI-E连接器10的两卡钩133,该固定件20的固定片24对准该PCI-E连接器10的插槽125。向下按压该固定件20,使该固定件20的两卡扣部216分别卡入该PCI-E连接器10的两卡钩133的钩扣部134内并抵接该两卡钩133的底部,该固定件20的固定片24收容于该PCI-E连接器10的插槽125内并抵接该插槽125的底部。从而,该固定件20被固定于该PCI-E连接器10,固定件20的收容槽213与PCI-E连接器10的插槽125相连通。
使用时,如要将一与该PCI-E连接器10对应的PCI-E卡(在本实施方式中,为一PCI-E x8卡)或一长度比该PCI-E连接器10短的PCI-E卡(如PCI-Ex1或PCI-E x4卡)***该连接器组合1时,可直接将要***的PCI-E卡***该PCI-E连接器10内。
请一并参照图4,如要将一长度比该PCI-E连接器10长的PCI-E卡40(如PCI-E x16卡)***该连接器组合1时,将该PCI-E卡40的金手指45***该连接器组合1的PCI-E连接器10与固定件20顶部的插槽125与收容槽213内,并使该PCI-E卡40的金手指45的底部向下抵压该固定件20的固定片24,而使得该固定件20不易跷起。从而,该PCI-E卡40被固定于该连接器组合1,该PCI-E卡40的金手指45被该PCI-E连接器10的插槽125与该固定件20的收容槽213收容,从而不易受到碰撞或短路而损坏。
在其它实施方式中,该固定件20的固定片24可以被省略,该固定件20可直接被固定于该PCI-E连接器10的端部13处。
在其它实施方式中,该连接器组合1的PCI-E连接器10可以被替换成PCI连接器或其它扩展卡连接器。

Claims (3)

1.一种连接器组合,包括一设有插槽的扩展卡连接器,其特征在于:该插槽贯穿至该扩展卡连接器的一端部,该连接器组合还包括一固定于该扩展卡连接器的该端部的固定件,该固定件设有一与该扩展卡连接器的插槽连通的收容槽,该固定件包括一收容部及一由该收容部的一端部的底部沿长度方向延伸的长条形固定片,该固定片收容于该扩展卡连接器的插槽内并抵接该插槽的底部,该收容槽设置于该收容部并贯穿至该收容部的与该固定片连接的一端部。
2.如权利要求1所述的连接器组合,其特征在于:该扩展卡连接器的该端部于该插槽的两侧分别设有一底部封闭的卡钩,每一卡钩包括一朝向相对的卡钩延伸的L形钩扣部,该固定件朝向该扩展卡连接器的一端的两侧向外分别凸伸一卡置于该扩展卡连接器的对应卡钩内的卡扣部。
3.如权利要求1或2所述的连接器组合,其特征在于:该扩展卡连接器为一PCI-E连接器。
