Description
技术领域

背景技术
在过去十年间,通过先进制造技术和新材料的结合,实现了在电容器可靠性上的显著增长。特别是在所谓的薄膜电容器方面,获得了性能的极大增强。基于制造技术可以将薄膜电容器分类为三种,也就是,薄膜和箔(foil)电容器、金属化薄膜电容器和混合工艺薄膜电容器。
通常地,金属化薄膜电容器由通过塑料(plastic)膜分开的两个金属电极组成。金属化塑料膜通过在塑料膜层上真空沉积金属膜来构造。这将提供紧凑的电容器结构、自清洁能力、更长的寿命以及更高的能量密度。一些常规使用的塑料膜是聚丙烯和聚醚酰亚胺膜。典型地,金属膜层极度薄,为大约200-500埃数量级并且典型地是铝或锌。与其他类型的电容器相比较,金属化薄膜电容器在尺寸、简易以及制造成本上具有优势,并且因此广泛应用于功率电子工业中。

具体实施方式

如上面表述的,表面缺陷可以引起在电介质中的击穿电压的分散性,导致在电容器的不同位置的击穿电压不同,导致电容器的整体击穿电压的下降。如在上文中表述的电介质膜的表面的等离子体处理使表面结构更加均匀从而减少表面缺陷。这导致更窄的击穿电压范围以及因此,增加和延长了电容器的寿命。进一步,耐电晕性(corona resistance),其作为电容器中的电介质承受指定水平电离而不导致电介质完全击穿的时间的度量,通过这样的表面处理增加了。这直接导致了电容器的延长寿命。

Claims (9)
1.一种制造电容器(10)的方法,包括:
通过改变分子结构,等离子体处理聚醚酰亚胺膜(22)的表面(24);
金属化该表面(24);
在该聚醚酰亚胺膜上设置电极(20);以及
封装该电容器(10);
其中
聚醚酰亚胺膜(22)具有在300-700kV/mm之间的范围内的击穿电压,且
所述聚醚酰亚胺膜(22)包含纳米填充物。
2.权利要求1的方法,所述等离子体处理包括化学气相沉积工艺。
3.权利要求1的方法,所述等离子体处理包括在氟化的气氛中等离子体处理或氩等离子体处理。
4.权利要求1的方法,所述金属化包括聚醚酰亚胺膜(22)的气相沉积、溅射或电化学沉积工艺。
5.权利要求4的方法,所述气相沉积、溅射或电化学沉积工艺包括用铝或铜沉积聚醚酰亚胺膜(22)的表面(24)。
6.一种制造电容器(10)的方法,包括:
通过改变分子结构,在氟化的气氛中等离子体处理聚醚酰亚胺膜(22)的表面(24);
金属化该表面(24);
在该聚醚酰亚胺膜(22)上设置电极(20);以及
封装该电容器(10);
其中
聚醚酰亚胺膜(22)具有在300-700kV/mm之间的范围内的击穿电压,且
所述聚醚酰亚胺膜(22)包含纳米填充物。
7.权利要求6的方法,该氟化的气氛包括四氟化碳。
8.电容器(10),包括:
由聚醚酰亚胺膜(22)制成的电介质层,该聚醚酰亚胺膜包括至少一个等离子体处理的表面,其中所述至少一个等离子体处理的表面是氟化表面;
设置在该聚醚酰亚胺膜(22)的该氟化表面上的金属化层(32);以及
设置在该聚醚酰亚胺膜(22)的侧上的电极(20);
其中
该电介质层(22)具有在300-700kV/mm之间的范围内的击穿电压,且
所述电介质层(22)包含纳米填充物。
9.权利要求8的电容器(10),其中该电介质层(22)具有在-50℃至250℃之间的范围内的操作温度。
