燃料供给单元
技术领域
本发明涉及一种燃料供给单元,它安装有一个用于把燃料从抽吸区输送到压力区的燃料泵和一个用于密闭该压力区或把该压力区与外部环境相连通的排气阀。
背景技术
这样的燃料供给单元通常用在当今的汽车上,并已在实践中为人们所知。该燃料供给单元大多安装有一个设置在外壳中并带有一台电机的燃料泵,该燃料供给单元安装在汽车燃料箱的一个防溅罐中。在该燃料供给单元安装状态下,燃料泵和抽吸区位于外壳的下端。安装有排气阀的压力区和一根通向汽车内燃机前置管的连接管安装在外壳的上部。电机大多灌注了输送的燃料。
这种为人们所知的燃料供给单元的缺点是,在燃料泵经过长时间停机后防溅罐几乎无油时,空气可能通过排气阀进入外壳内。这些空气在燃料泵起动时必然被输送的燃料通过排阀首先重新排出。这种情况会导致建立压力的延迟并导致空气和燃料混合。
发明内容
本发明的任务在于防止空气进入燃料供给单元的外壳内。
根据本发明上述问题可能这样解决,使排气阀朝外部环境的端部与燃料供给单元在安装状态下的一个经常装有燃料的区域相连通。
通过这种结构设计,空气就不可能通过排气阀进入根据本发明的燃料供给单元的外壳内。因此,该外壳即使在燃料泵长时间停机后仍充满燃料,并且在燃料泵起动时不必排气。在首次充油时外壳内已有的空气和排油时产生的气泡都能够无阻碍地通过排气阀从外壳中排出。
当在排气阀的外端侧连接一根导管并把该导管引到抽吸区附近时,根据本发明的燃油泵的结构将特别简单。这样即使防溅罐内几乎无油,导管的自由端在任何时候也处在燃料内。
例如,该导管可以具有一个特别大的横截面,并在首次充油时可能存有应该排出的空气。然而,当该导管具有一个与压力区的容量相比特别小的容量时,就可以在很大程度上防止存在于该导管中的空气进入根据本发明的燃料供给单元的外壳内。
当该导管在靠近排气阀的附近折成弯角伸向抽吸区时,根据本发明另一种有许多优点的改进设计就能把导管的储油容量进一步减小。由于采用这种结构设计,导管长度特别短。
当导管伸入到安装状态下的燃料供给单元的外壳内的自由端与罐底保持设定的距离时,空气通过排气阀和该导管从根据本发明的燃料供给单元的外壳内排出的障碍可以完全避免。

具体实施方式
本发明允许有很多种实施形式。为说明其基本原理,这里给出了本发明的附图并作以下介绍。
在一个唯一的简图中示出了汽车燃料箱的底部。在该燃料箱中安装有防溅罐1和带有一个二级式燃料泵3的燃料供给单元2。燃料泵3具有一个前置级4和一个主级5,前者用于把燃料从燃料箱送入防溅罐1,后者用于把燃料从防溅罐1送入设置在燃料供给单元2内的外壳6上部件压力区7。为便于说明,附图中以箭头标明燃料的流动方向。在外壳6上标明为压力区7的部位安装有一根附图中未示出的、引向汽车内燃机引管的连接管嘴8。此外,外壳6上还安装有一个排气阀9。排气阀9把压力区7与外部环境相连通,它能把气泡从压力区排出。当压力区7充满燃料时,排气阀9关闭。在排气阀朝外部环境侧的端头连接导管10,后者一直引到防溅罐1的底部附近,因而伸到了经常安装有燃料的部位。
在压力区7排气时,气体经排气阀9和导管10排出。在汽车停机,因而燃料供给单元2也停机时,伸到燃料部位的导管10将阻止空气由于排气阀9不密闭而能进入压力区7内。因此在燃料供给单元重新起动时能以特别快的速度建立压力。

Claims (5)

1.燃料供给单元,其具有一个用于把燃料从抽吸区送入压力区的燃料泵、一个用于使该压力区密闭或把该压力区与外部环境相连通的排气阀和一个其中布置燃料泵的防溅罐(1),其特征在于,排气阀(9)面对外部环境的端部与燃料供给单元(2)在安装状态下经常装有燃料的部位相连通,一个导管(10)引导到防溅罐(1)中的经常装有燃料的部位中。
2.按权利要求1所述的燃料供给单元,其特征在于,在排气阀(9)的面向外部环境的端部上连接该导管(10),导管(10)一直通到该抽吸区附近。
3.按权利要求1或2所述的燃料供给单元,其特征在于,导管(10)具有一个与压力区(7)的容量相比特别小的容量。
4.按权利要求1或2所述的燃料供给单元,其特征在于,导管(10)弯成U形的。
5.按权利要求1或2所述的燃料供给单元,其特征在于,导管(10)的自由端伸入在安装状态的燃料供给单元(2)的防溅罐(1)中,并与防溅罐(1)底部保持设定的距离。
