Abstract

Un método para la recuperación de vanadio de una corriente de alimentación que contiene vanadio, comprendiendo el método: someter la corriente de alimentación que contiene vanadio a una etapa de lixiviación ácida para formar un lodo que incluye una solución de lixiviación cargada que comprende vanadio disuelto y un residuo sólido; pasar el producto de la etapa de lixiviación a una etapa de separación de sólidos/líquidos para producir una solución de lixiviación cargada que comprende vanadio disuelto; poner en contacto la solución de lixiviación cargada con un agente reductor para reducir una o más especies en la solución de lixiviación cargada; pasar la solución de lixiviación cargada a una etapa de precipitación en la que se aumenta el pH de la solución para precipitar un producto de vanadio; y recuperar el producto de vanadio de la solución.
