Faucet for washing machines and the like. The subject matter of the present invention is a tap for flushing apparatus and the like, for example, a cistern with a float valve, the float valve controlling the outlet opening of a chamber that is in constant communication with the water supply line and which is directed against the water passage opening of the tap to the washing container through a Membrane is closed, which, when the outlet opening of the chamber is closed, is pressed against the passage opening of the valve by the excess pressure generated in the latter and closes it, and vice versa, when the outlet opening of the chamber is open,
lifted from the water passage opening by the overpressure in the water supply line. and this opens:.
The drawing shows two execution examples.
Fig. 1 is the first embodiment in section and Fig. 2 is the second Ausfüh approximately example in section.
In the first exemplary embodiment, the faucet is intended to be arranged on the bottom 1 of a cistern (washing container). 2 is the supply pipe for the water to be used for rinsing. This tube 2, which gnaws through the bottom 1 and is sealed off, is formed at the top into a nozzle-like mouth 3, which mouth 3 lies within a nozzle 4 and forms the water passage opening of the tap to the washing container.
The connector 4 is arranged inside the base 1 and has lateral openings 5: A membrane 8, which has a central opening 9, is attached to the connector 4 by means of a sleeve-like attachment 6 and a union nut 7. A valve 10 is arranged in the attachment 6 and is seated on a carrier 11. The carrier 11 is articulated by means of a pin 13 to the lever 14 of a float, not shown in the drawing, which lever 1.1 cooperates with the edge of a screw 12 screwed into the attachment 6 from above.
An opening 17 is provided below the valve 10 in a transverse wall 16 which forms a chamber 19 above the membrane 8.
When the cistern is empty, so the float is lowered, the membrane 8 is lifted from the mouth 3 of the pipe v under the pressure of the water entering through the pipe 2, so that the water in the nozzle .4 and through the openings 5 of the same flows into the cistern. At the same time, water flows through the opening 9 into the chamber 19 above the membrane 8 and through the opening 17 into the sleeve 6 in order to reach the cistern zlr through an opening 18 of the sleeve 6 through which the lever 14 protrudes .
The water collecting in the cistern lifts the float and the lever 14 pushes the valve 10 onto the opening 17. This collects the water passing through the opening 9 in the chamber 19 and acts on pressure equalization compared to that in the pipe 2 Water as a result of the larger pressure surface on the upper side of the membrane that the membrane 8 lies against the ignition 3 and thereby blocks the further flow of water to your cistern.
If water is removed from the cistern, the float sinks. This opens the valve 10 and the water can exit the chamber 19, so that under the water pressure from the pipe 2, the membrane 8 is lifted from the water passage opening 3, and water is again in it can enter the cistern through the nozzle 4 and the openings 5 irr.
The second exemplary embodiment differs from the steep one essentially only in that the water supply pipe 2 is not arranged in the floor but in a side wall 1 'of a cistern. Only one opening corresponding to the Publ openings 5 of the first embodiment is provided on the nozzle 4, all of which are connected to a tube 15 projecting towards the bottom of the cistern.
The lever 14 protrudes with a bent part 14 'through the opening 18 into the attachment 6 and is articulated to all the carrier 11 by means of a pin 13 as in the first embodiment, for example.
