Abstract
The triple axis tourbillion, in a watch, shows rotations at different times. The inner rotation ring (101) is driven by a gearing (102) so that the center ring (103) has a full rotation in 60 minutes and the outer ring (105) has a full rotation in 24 hours. The gearing, between the between the inner and center rings, has a clutch to adjust the time.
Description
Fig. 8zeigt das Uhrwerk von Fig. 7von unten.
The present invention relates to a watch (preferably a wristwatch) with a three-axis tourbillon, in which the time is read not from the position of hands, but from the position of parts of the tourbillon construction to each other or to the dial.
Movements with tourbillons that rotate about more than one axis are known from the prior art. In none of these designs are the rotation times required by the parts about particular axes selected so that the time of day can be read directly from the position of the tourbillon.
Watches are known with uniaxial tourbillon, in which the tourbillon makes a full turn in one minute, where a part of the tourbillon frame is designed as a pointer or on the tourbillon axis a pointer inserted and so serves as a small seconds display ,
In uniaxial tourbillon the balance in addition to the swinging motion makes a progressive rotational movement, preferably about the swing axis of the balance relative to the watch case respectively the board. By this progressive rotation movement differences, caused by balance problems of the balance, can be compensated in different positions of the clock.
For two- or three-axle tourbill the frame of the tourbillon is added to other bogies, these bogies in turn perform rotational movements about more axes.
Such multiaxial tourbillons ideally compensate for any positional gear deviations and such a clock always runs with the same accuracy regardless of its position.
State of the art are both constructions of multi-axis tourbillons, in which the axes of rotation are perpendicular to each other, as well as those where the axes of rotation have a different angle to each other.
Fig. 1 shows the essential parts of a movement with three-axis tourbillon for direct display of time.
The invention is to equip a clock with a three-axis tourbillon, in which the rotation times are chosen so that the balance of the next closest, inner bogie 1 (101) describes, for example in one minute a full turn.
This rotational speed is reduced by means of a transmission (102) so that the middle bogie (103) describes a full revolution in one hour.
The rotational speed of the mid-bogie (103) is in turn so reduced by means of a transmission (104) that the outer bogie (105) describes a full revolution in 12 or 24 hours.
By attaching a minute scale (106) on the outer bogie 1 (105) and hour indices on the dial (107) and a double pointer (108) fixed to the outer bogie (105), so a clock with three-axis Tourbillon be created, which does not need additional pointers to display the time.
This makes it possible to arrange the tourbillon correspondingly larger and more prominent in the clock, since no space for pointer is needed.
Preferably, the inner bogie (101) and the outer bogie (105) on the fly, so stored with a rolling bearing, so that the free view of the components of the tourbillon and the display organs minute scale (106) and double pointer (108 ) is not hindered by parts of the board and bridges, as is the case with a bearing of the bogies with double-sided journals.
Fig. 2a, 2b, 2c show the structure of the three-axis tourbillon without the remaining parts of the movement, while Fig. 2a shows the outer bogie (105), which makes a rotation in 12 or 24 hours.
Fig. 2b shows the outer bogie (105), in which the middle bogie (103) is installed. The middle bogie (103) rotates in 60 minutes.
Fig. 2c finally shows the complete tourbillon with external bogie (105), in which the middle bogie (103) is installed. In turn, the middle bogie (103) has the interior bogie (101) mounted thereon. The inner bogie (101) preferably rotates in one minute, but this is not mandatory.
Fig. 3 shows a preferred embodiment of the clock according to claim 1 from above. Fig. 4 shows the same embodiment of the movement from below. The three-axis tourbillon is shown in the position it occupies when the time can be read 1:50 or 13:50. The reading of the time is via the double pointer (108) whose outer peak is near the index for 2 o'clock on the dial (107) and whose inner peak on the minute scale (106) indicates 50 minutes.
Fig. 5 shows a preferred embodiment of the clock according to claim 1, from above, with the dial (107) is hidden and corresponds to the position of the tourbillon 3 o'clock, so that the parts of the tourbillon are parallel to the movement. In the illustrated embodiment, the three-axis tourbillon is driven by two barrels (57), there are also versions with only one or more than two barrels possible.
Fig. 6 shows the movement from below, wherein the barrel bridge (73) is hidden, the position of the tourbillon corresponds, as well as in Fig. 5, 3 o'clock. In Figs. 5 and 6, the elevator shaft (64) is in its inner, depressed end position.
The functions of the sliding operation (60) which transmits the rotation of the elevator shaft (64) on the elevator drive (59) and thus allows a mounting of the barrels (57) are known in the art, a detailed description is therefore omitted. The locking cone which prevent a drainage of the energy of the barrels (57) by engagement in the locking wheels (67) are not shown.
In this embodiment, the clockwork on two barrels (57). The two barrels (57) engage in a common reducing 8-day wheel (55), which significantly increases the gear duration of the movement. The 8-day wheel (55) engages the rocker wheel (54).
The rocker wheel (54) is rotatably mounted on the same axis as the drive rocker (53). The drive rocker (53) carries at its free end the upper drive wheel (50) which is in permanent engagement with the rocker wheel (54).
The upper drive wheel (50) is connected with its shaft through the drive rocker (53) fixedly connected to the lower drive wheel (52).
The torque of the barrels (57) by means of 8-day wheel (55), rocker wheel (54), upper drive wheel (50) and lower drive wheel (52) on the drive sprocket (48) of the outermost bogie (105). In this torque transmission, the drive rocker (53) is permanently pressed into the end position, which results in a correct engagement between the lower drive wheel (52) and the drive sprocket (48).
Fig. 7 shows a preferred embodiment of the movement from above, wherein the parts of the elevator mechanism are in position, the elevator shaft (64) is shown in its outer, drawn end position. So that the parts are better visible, the crown wheel (66) is hidden.
Fig. 8 shows the movement of Fig. 7 from below.
If the elevator shaft (64) pulled in the outer end position, pointer points, the elevator lever (62) is rotated so that it the elevator rocker (63) the sliding operation (60) on the square of the drive shaft (60 ) pushes forward, as is well known to those skilled in the art.
The sliding operation (60) comes into engagement with the first time setting wheel (72), a rotation on the winding shaft (64) via the sliding operation (60), the first Zeitstellrad (72) and weitre Zeitstellräder (70) on transmit the upper timing actuator (71). The upper timing actuator (71) is fixedly connected to the lower timing actuator (69) on the lower work floor. The lower timing actuator (69) engages the drive rim (48) of the outer bogie (105).
Thus, an adjustment of the displayed time of the multi-axis tourbillon is possible, a rotation of the outer bogie (105) on the drive ring (48) neither by the inhibition in the inner bogie (101) nor by the driving force of the barrels (57 ) are made impossible.
Thus, the adjustment of the displayed time of the multi-axis tourbillon is not prevented by the inhibition of the inner bogie (101), in the reduction gear (102) between the inner bogie (101) and the middle bogie (103) a wheel be provided with a slip clutch (35). This slip clutch can be made equal to the known to those skilled slip clutch between the minute tube and Mitnehmerrad in conventional hands watches.
Thus, the adjustment of the displayed time of the multi-axis tourbillon not by the driving force of the barrels (57), which engages on the lower drive wheel (52) in the drive ring (48) of the outer bogie (105) is prevented, can either a slip clutch between the upper drive wheel (50) and lower drive wheel (52) are installed.
Another, preferred solution is that the elevator rocker (63) is extended beyond the lever arm used for the movement of the sliding operation (60), behind the fulcrum. At the end of this lever arm, the elevator rocker (63) has a lot which projects downwards through the board.
This pin-shaped portion of the elevator rocker (63) is rotatably connected to a clutch lever (75). The clutch lever (75) is guided in a slot of the barrel bridge (73). If the elevator shaft (64) is pulled into its outer end position, then the coupling lever (75) is pulled in the direction of the elevator shaft (64) by the rotational movement of the elevator rocker (63). The front end of the clutch lever (75) is arcuate and pulls the lower drive wheel (52) out of engagement with the drive collar (48).
This movement of the upper drive wheel (50) and lower drive wheel (52) is enabled by the drive rocker (53).
In the arcuate portion of the clutch lever (75) tip-shaped portions are preferably formed, which engage in the toothing of the lower drive wheel (52), so that the torque of the barrels (57), which is transmitted to the lower drive wheel (52) not runs out of control.
