Description
The invention relates to a storage container, preferably made of plastic, with a bottom and with the bottom upwardly extending side walls.
Such containers are used in transport and storage of movable goods such as raw materials or finished parts. The storage containers, which are preferably made of a plastic, can still be handled manually for light items or can be transported with heavy goods by means of a lift truck. The commercial containers that meet these requirements, have at the bottom of the bottom of the container on several feet, which provide a necessary for a stacker distance between the bottom and the container bottom.
This creates a dead volume between the floor and the container bottom, which can not be used even when still manually operated storage containers during storage.
The invention has for its object to provide a storage container that can be transported both freehand and by means of lifting devices and in which an optimal utilization of the storage space is guaranteed.
This object of the invention is achieved by a storage container with the features of claim 1.
It is advantageous that the existing between the bottom and the container bottom dead volume for viable storage containers can be completely eliminated by removing the runners, which both the volume of storage spaces can be used effectively and the stacking security is increased by the reduced height, the stretcher - And storage properties of the inventive storage container are not adversely affected.
Conveniently, the foot elements are positively connected to the bottom of the storage container, wherein the positive connection additionally force or
can be frictional.
Another way of releasably securing the foot elements to the underside of the floor is in an adhesive connection.
The foot elements can also be attached to the ground by means of thread-forming screws, which are screwed from below into the ground, without penetrating it. As a result, the liquid-tightness of the storage container is obtained.
If food is contained in the interior of the container, they do not come into contact with foreign materials in this way.
Conveniently, the side walls go over in alignment in boundary surfaces of the foot elements.
Advantageously, the outer foot elements of a runner are arranged in corner regions of the floor, whereby a maximum stability of the erected container is ensured.
In a further modification, the side walls are inclined outwards, so that they have a substantially same angle of inclination to the normal to the ground, whereby a simple way to stack empty storage containers is inserted into one another.
The load capacity of the storage container floor can be further increased, that are provided on the underside of the bottom reinforcing ribs.
In the recesses formed by the reinforcing ribs, the foot elements can furthermore be used in a form-fitting manner. If the above recesses between reinforcing ribs already exist in known storage containers, the latter can be retrofitted without significant effort by the plug-in foot elements, whereby a possibility is given to use for the originally intended only for manual handling storage container and the handling funds.
Preferably, the storage container is designed so that several of the storage containers can nest one another.
This can result in empties reduction of up to 66%.
Based on drawings embodiments of the invention will be explained in more detail.
It shows:
<Tb> FIG. 1 <perspective> an embodiment of an inventive storage container with partially dissolved foot elements and
<Tb> FIG. 2 <sep> in perspective two nested storage containers with the lower storage container in cross section.
The storage container 10 shown in Fig. 1 comprises a rectangular bottom 1 with side edges 9 and four of the respective side edges 9 upwardly extending side walls 2 of the same height. On the underside 3 of the bottom 1, two sets of three foot elements 5a, 5b, 5c and 5d, 5e, 5f are attached adjacent to opposite side edges 9 of the storage container 10.
The foot elements of a group are arranged in a line at the same distance from each other, wherein the outer foot elements 5a, 5c and 5d, 5f are mounted to increase the stability of the inventive storage container 10 in corner regions of the bottom 1.
The adjacent to a side wall 9 of the bottom 1 foot elements 5a, 5b, 5c and 5d, 5e, 5f are connected to their ends facing away from the bottom 1 by means of a web 11 to form a runner 4 and 8, respectively. The embodiment of the storage container 10 shown in Fig. 1 has two runners 4 and 8, which are composed of three foot elements 5a, 5b, 5c and 5d, 5e, 5f. A runner 4, which contains the foot elements 5a, 5b and 5c, is shown in Fig. 1 in a dissolved state.
It should be noted that the skids 4, 8 may also have two or four and more foot elements.
Reinforcing ribs 13 are provided on the underside 3 of the bottom 1, which increase the carrying capacity of the bottom 1 crossing each other. The number and the arrangement of the reinforcing ribs 13 can be adapted to the concrete conditions deviating from the arrangement shown in FIG. Recesses 15 are formed between the individual reinforcing ribs 13, in which the correspondingly shaped inserts 6 of the foot elements 5a-5f are inserted in a form-fitting manner, whereby a reliable connection between the bottom 1 and the respective foot element 5a-5f is formed.
The inserts 6 are dimensioned so that they have the same or slightly larger dimensions than the recesses 15, so that they can be used after a certain elastic deformation in the wells, which in addition to the positive connection additionally achieved a non-positive or frictional connection becomes. By appropriate adaptation of the shape of the inserts 6 already existing storage containers whose underside of the bottom have such reinforcing ribs can be inexpensively retrofitted with foot elements according to the invention.
The side walls (2) go, as shown in Fig. 1, in alignment in boundary surfaces (7) of the foot elements (5a, 5b, 5c, 5d, 5e, 5f), so that they are substantially in a plane with the outer surface of the corresponding side wall 2 are.
This results in a substantially smooth transition in the region of a side edge 9 of the bottom 1, which allows a nesting of several storage containers in the empty state, without being interlocked.
Instead of or in addition to a positive connection of the foot elements 5a-5f with the bottom 1, an adhesive connection may be made e.g. be used by means of a Velcro fastener, wherein the respective adhesive parts on the bottom 3 of the bottom 1 and on the bottom 1 facing end face of the foot elements 5a-5f are attached. A screw connection is another way of releasably securing the foot elements 5a-5f to the floor 1.
The screws for fixing the foot elements 5a-5f can engage both from the top of the bottom 1 in the foot elements 5a-5f as well as from the side of the foot elements 5a-5f are screwed into the bottom 1. Preferably, the foot elements 5a, 5b, 5c, 5d, 5e, 5f are fixed to the floor 1 by means of thread-forming screws, which are screwed from below into the floor (1) without penetrating it.
Fig. 2 shows nested two of the empty containers 10 and 20 shown in Fig. 1, wherein the lower storage container 20 is shown in section. The side walls 2 of the storage containers 10, 20 shown in Fig. 1 are inclined outwardly so that they have a substantially same inclination angle to the normal to the bottom 1.
Characterized in that the side walls 2 of both containers 10, 20 are arranged diverging upwards and the lateral surfaces 7 of the foot elements 5a-5f are formed flush in the side walls 2, it is possible that a plurality of containers can be nested, wherein the bottom 1 facing away faces of the foot elements 5 of the upper storage container 10 is preferably placed on the top of the bottom 1 of the lower container 20. As a result, several storage containers can be stored in a space-saving manner when empty and can be weight-independent with conventional storage means, e.g. with a forklift, transport.
