Laufflächenbelag für Skier, welcher aus einem Thermoplast besteht, in dem über mindestens einen Teil der Oberfläche des Belages Teile aus einem anderen Material eingebettet sind, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die im Thermoplast eingebetteten Teile aus Elastomer bestehen und mit dem Thermoplast ein Gemisch bilden.1. BESCHREIBUNG Die Erfindung betrifft einen Laufflächenbelag nach dem Oberbegriff des Patentanspruches 1.DESCRIPTION The invention relates to a tread covering according to the preamble of patent claim 1.
Einen weiteren Gegenstand der Erfindung bildet ein mit diesem Laufflächenbelag hergestellter Ski.A further object of the invention is a ski produced with this running surface covering.
Bei der Entwicklung von Skibelägen wurde vor allem angestrebt, die Gleiteigenschaften, sowie die Hafteigenschaften des Belages zu optimieren. Bei Langlaufskiern ist vor allem das Verhalten des Belages in der Abstoss- sowie in der Steigphase in Betracht zu ziehen. Schliesslich mussten auch wechselnde Schneeverhältnisse ins Auge gefasst werden. Zur Herstellung solcher Beläge wurden vorwiegend Elastomere verwendet, die allenfalls anteilig mit Faserkomponenten versehen waren. Hiebei bestanden der Laufflächenbelag, d.h. die Verteilungskomponente aus Elastomer - einem weichen Material - und die Einschlüsse, d.h., die verteilte Komponente aus einem Thermoplast bzw. einem harten Material. Beläge dieser Art brachten jedoch keine befriedigenden Ergebnisse.When developing ski coatings, the main aim was to optimize the gliding properties and the adhesive properties of the coating. Aufgabe der Erfindung ist die Schaffung eines Laufflä-chenbelages, welcher insbesondere für Langlaufskier geeignet ist und optimale Eigenschaften sowohl hinsichtlich des Gleitens, als auch hinsichtlich des Steigens, sowie in der Ab-stossphase aufweist. Überraschenderweise hat sich gezeigt, dass bei einem derartigen Belag jede zusätzliche mechanische Bearbeitung des Belages sowie ein abfälliges Auftragen von Wachs erübrigt wird. Durch die umgekehrte Kombination gemäss der vorliegenden Erfindung wird gegenüber der bekannten Kombination der Vorteil der guten Laufeigenschaften des Thermoplastmaterials ausgenützt, während das elastomere Material bei Belastung der Lauffläche des Skis die für das gute Ab-stossen notwendige Rauhigkeit vermittelt.Surprisingly, it has been shown that with a covering of this type, any additional mechanical processing of the covering and a derogatory application of wax are unnecessary. Bei der Ausführungsform des Skis besteht der Laufflächenbelag 1 aus einem harten Thermoplast, während das weiche Elastomer 2 in den Thermoplast eingebettet ist. Durch die Verwendung des thermoplastischen Materials besitzt der Belag hervorragende Gleiteigenschaften und durch die Verwendung des elastomeren Materials auch ausgezeichnete Steigeigenschaften.
