BESCHREIBUNG
Fig. 1 einen Längsschnitt durch die Anordnung in der unbeaufschlagten Stellung;
Fig. 2 die Anordnung entsprechend Fig. 1 in der durch Druck beaufschlagten Stellung;
Fig. 3 einen Schnitt nach der Linie III - III der Fig. 1.
DESCRIPTION
The invention relates to an elastic linkage of a central buffer coupling for rail vehicles according to the preamble of the claim.
In DE-OS 2 701 984 the horizontal pivoting movements of the coupling rod are made possible by the articulation of the housing by means of vertical bolts on the vehicle, while vertical pivoting movements and the rotating movements about the coupling axis are made possible by the elastic mounting of the coupling rod with a defined reset . This elastic articulation using several elastic rings has fully proven itself under operating conditions in its area of application for heavy rail vehicles. In the case of lighter and smaller rail vehicles, there is usually neither the installation depth required for installation nor the installation height required for the journal mounting. Taking into account the existing installation height, the housing was therefore attached to the vehicle and the cushioning was reduced to a ring to reduce the installation depth.
It has been shown here that the tensile and compressive forces that occur are absorbed by a ring, but that by moving the largest cross-section of the drawbar into the horizontal plane there is no longer any horizontal resetting.
The invention has set itself the task of a generic elastic articulation the above. Requirements to be met, so that with a small size of the elastic linkage with a fixed housing, a defined horizontal reset is possible, whereby both the vertical pivoting movements and the rotary movements around the dome axis always provide the reset.
According to the invention, this object is achieved in that both the inner part of the housing and the coupling rod in the installed position have the larger axis of the cross section in the vertical.
In the drawing, an embodiment is shown schematically. It shows:
1 shows a longitudinal section through the arrangement in the unloaded position.
Fig. 2 shows the arrangement corresponding to Figure 1 in the pressurized position.
3 shows a section along the line III - III of FIG. 1st
The housing 1 is attached to the vehicle, not shown, and encloses the coupling rod 2 connected to the coupling head, both the coupling rod 2 and the inner part of the housing 1 having an oval cross section, which in the installed position has the larger axis in the vertical. The coupling rod 2 is provided with circumferential cams 4, 5 when using an elastic ring 3, while the housing 1 has a groove 6 on the inside, which lies opposite the section of the coupling rod 2 delimited by the cams 4, 5. The shoulders 7 of the circumferential cams 4, 5 and the shoulders 8 of the groove 6 are inclined at an angle to the vertical axis of the housing 1.
The coupling rod 2 is held at the predetermined distance from the housing 1 by a ring 3 made of rubber or plastic and inserted between the shoulders 6 and 7 with a prestress, perpendicular to the coupling axis, the housing being facilitated for assembly and to make the prestress adjustable 1 consists of two half-shells which can be detachably connected to one another by means of screw bolts 9, and the ring 3 is slotted on one or both sides.
If the coupling rod 2 is now subjected to pressure, as indicated, for example, in FIG. 2, the ring 3 rolls off in accordance with the rolling contour and the pre-tension specified by the design of the shoulder and thus absorbs the shocks elastically. With increasing load in the axial direction, the ring deforms elastically, which gives a progressive spring characteristic. The arrangement behaves analogously in the event of tensile stress. Swiveling movements of the coupling in the vertical or horizontal direction are elastically absorbed by deformation of the ring 3. The choice of the oval cross section of the coupling rod 2 and the inner part of the housing 1 results in different restoring forces for pivoting movements of the coupling rod from the axial rest position.
The greater restoring forces and thus also a greater rigidity of the arrangement result in a deflection in the plane of the larger axis. In order to obtain elastic deformation with a progressive characteristic curve and a defined resetting on both sides over the entire necessary horizontal swivel range of the coupling, the plane with the smaller axis of the cross section is arranged horizontally. Vertical coupling movements as well as the rotating movements around the coupling axis and their defined resetting are always given with this arrangement within the framework of the operating conditions.
For use in heavy rail vehicles with an existing installation depth, this elastic linkage with a fixed housing can also be designed with more than one ring 3, the number of cams 4, 5 and the groove 6 then having to be increased accordingly.
