Description
The invention relates to a method corresponding to the preamble of claim 1 for conveying bulk material, in particular dry, premixed ready-mixed plaster, such as lime plaster or lime cement mortar, or gypsum plaster, and a device for carrying out the method which corresponds to the preamble of claim 5.
A method and a device of this type are known from DE-GM 79 22 159. In the known method, compressed air is blown into the lower, tapered container part and into the outlet line at the same time. For this purpose, the known device has a compressor which is connected to a first air supply line which opens into this at several points around the lower, tapered container part and a second air supply line which opens into the outlet line and is provided with a nozzle. A check valve is arranged in a connecting piece connecting the lower end of the container to the outlet line, which prevents the flow direction from being reversed, that is to say a flow of air and bulk material from the outlet line back into the container. A disadvantage of the known solution is that the bulk material slips slowly out of the container into the outlet line and the conveyance is interrupted relatively frequently by blockages, particularly at the lower end of the container, so that only low conveying capacities can be achieved.
The object of the invention is therefore to achieve a high conveying capacity by rapid, reliable slipping of the bulk material.
This object is achieved according to the invention in procedural terms by the features specified in the characterizing part of claim 1 and in terms of equipment by the features listed in the characterizing part of claim 5.
Advantageous refinements of the method according to the invention and the device according to the invention result from claims 2 to 4 and 6 to 11.
The invention makes use of the surprising fact that the bulk material slips quickly and reliably from the storage container into the outlet line and that there is no risk of clogging if the compressed air is blown into the lower part of the container and into the outlet line alternately and not at the same time. Surprisingly, it has been shown that the delivery rate for this

This is surprising because one would have to assume that more material can be funded with a continuous funding than with a gradual, interrupted funding. The reasons why only relatively small quantities can be achieved in the known method are not exactly known. One assumption is that the compressed air that is permanently blown into the outlet line slows down the bulk material from sliding out of the storage container. It is assumed that the non-return valve prevents the flow direction from actually reversing, but cannot prevent unfavorable pressure conditions between the outlet line and the lower part of the container when the bulk material slides when compressed air is blown into both at the same time.
In the following an embodiment of the invention will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings.
The single figure shows a schematic representation of a device for conveying bulk material.
The device has a storage container 1 provided on the upper side with a lockable opening for filling the bulk material, the lower part 2 of which is tapered downwards. A first air supply line 3 has at its end a ring line running around the container part 2, from which four branch connections 4 arranged at equal distances from one another open into the interior of the container. The lower end 5 of the container is connected by a connecting piece 6, in which a blocking flap for closing the container when not in use and a check valve 7 are arranged, to an outlet line 8 leading to the place of use (not shown). A second air supply line 9 opens into the latter, the outlet of which is provided with an injector nozzle 10 which is directed in the direction of flow 11 leading to the place of use.
A compressor 12 for generating compressed air is connected to the air supply lines 3 and 9 and to a pressure relief line 13. Each of the three lines 3, 9 and 13 can be shut off by a solenoid valve 14, 15 and 16. The three solenoid valves 14, 15 and 16 are controlled by a control device 17. This is connected to a pressure switch 19 and provided with a timer 20. The pressure switch 19 monitors the air pressure in the line 18 connecting the compressor 12 with the three valves 14 to 16 and sends a signal to the control device 17 when this pressure has reached a predetermined limit value, for example in the range between 0.4 and 1.2 bar falls below.
In the drawing, the valve 14 is open and the valves 15 and 16 are shown closed. Starting from these valve positions, the operation of the device is described in more detail below. After the control device 17 has opened the valve 14, it remains open for a time predetermined by the timer 20. This time is set depending on the flowability of the bulk material and is expediently in the range between 2 to 10 seconds. During this time, the compressed air generated by the compressor 12 flows through the air supply line 3 into the lower container part 2, as a result of which the bulk material therein is fluidized u. through the lower container end 5 and the open check valve 7 in the connector 6 slips into the outlet line 8. After the time predetermined by the timer 20 has elapsed, the control device 17 closes the valve 14 and opens the valve 15. The compressed air generated by the compressor 12 now flows through the air supply line 9 and the nozzle 10 into the outlet line 8. The compressed air blows through the bulk material the outlet line 8 through to the place of use, the check valve 7 preventing compressed air from 5 of the outlet line 8 from flowing back into the lower container part 2. While the compressed air blows the bulk material through the outlet line 8, the pressure in the line 18 monitored by the pressure switch 19 is greater than the predetermined limit value. As soon as the compressed air has blown the bulk material out of the io outlet line 8 or at least conveyed it further, the pressure drops below the limit value, the pressure switch 19 sends a signal to the control device 17 and this closes the valve 15 and opens the valve 14 again, thus opening the valve The valve-15 positions shown in the drawing are reached again and compressed air is blown into the lower container part 2 again during the time period determined by the timer 20. To interrupt (or terminate) the conveyance, the valves 14 and 15 are closed by means of the control device 17 and the valve 16, which is closed during the conveyance, is opened, so that the compressed air generated by the compressor 12 is passed outside through the pressure relief line 13. The interruption of the delivery by closing the valves 14 and 15 and opening the valve 16 can be triggered, for example, by a level probe (not shown) attached in a container at the end of the outlet line 8.
The closing of the valve 15 as a function of the pressure is particularly advantageous when heavy, not easily fluidizable bulk material is conveyed, because then a considerable pressure drop occurs when the bulk material is blown out of the outlet line 8. If, on the other hand, light, particularly well fluidizable bulk material is conveyed, the pressure drop is small, which makes reliable control difficult. 35 In this case in particular, it is advantageous not to blow the compressed air into the outlet line 8 as a function of the pressure, but rather for a predetermined period of time, suitably chosen between 1 and 10 seconds. For this purpose, the controller 17 can be equipped with two timing elements 40, which determine the time periods during which the compressed air flows through the first and through the second air supply lines 3 and 9, respectively. Of course, the compressed air can also flow through the two air supply lines 3 and 9 one after the other for periods of the same length. This has the advantage that only a single timer is required, but it is disadvantageous that it is not possible to choose the optimum time periods for fluidizing the bulk material in the container part 2 and for blowing out the bulk material from the outlet line 8.
Instead of the three solenoid valves 14, 15 and 16, other types of valves, slides or taps can also be used, which can also be controlled pneumatically instead of electrically. The two solenoid valves 14 and 15 can also be replaced by a (appropriately controlled) three-way valve or all three valves 14, 15 and 16 can be replaced by a single multi-way valve.
Ein von der Steuervorrichtung 17 gesteuertes The check valve 7 can, like the check valve described in DE-GM 79 22 159, have a cone-shaped body suspended on a chain in the connecting piece 6, which is lifted when the flow direction is reversed and thereby closes a constriction in the connecting piece 6. Instead of the check valve 7, another shut-off device controlled by the control device 17, e.g. a slide can be used, the control device 17 opening and closing this shut-off device together with the solenoid valve 14. One controlled by the control device 17

Shut-off device has the advantage over the non-return valve 7 that it is closed exactly while the compressed air flows into the outlet line 8, whereas the non-return valve 7 only closes when an air flow sufficient to lift the valve body against the direction of flow to the lower one The container part 2 flows and opens again when the pressure in the outlet line 8 drops sharply (after the bulk material has been blown out).
Instead of the pressure monitor 19, a pressure sensor can also be provided, the measured variable of which is compared with a predetermined limit value by a comparator provided in the control device 17. The pressure switch 19 or the pressure sensor can also measure the pressure in the air supply line 9 instead of in the line 18 or in the input part of the output line 8 connected to the connecting piece 6.
The closing of the valves 14 and 15 and the opening of the valve 16 when the conveyance is interrupted or ended can also be done manually instead of by the control device 17.
As indicated in the drawing, the storage container 1 can be held in a frame, expediently by means of a holding device attached to it or to the frame and allowing the container to be replaced. The air supply and control part of the device, which comprises the 5 lines 3, 9, 13 and 18, the valves 14 to 16, the pressure switch 19 and the control device 17, can be in the space between the lower container part 2, the connecting piece 6 and the frame be arranged so that it does not protrude laterally over the container jacket, io empty containers can be refilled at a central location instead of on construction sites. If you do not want to provide an air supply and control part that is firmly connected to each container, then you can attach it to the frame and provide detachable pipe connections at the locations of the air supply lines 3, 9 and the outlet line 8 designated with 15 21, 22 and 23, so that the air supply and control part as well as the outlet line 8 can be detached from the empty container and then connected to a full container that has just been inserted into the frame. The containers can be conveniently transported by truck to the central location and back to the construction site.
