Fig. 2 eine Seitenansicht von Fig. 1.

6. Bed according to one of claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the fastening strips (6) in their longitudinal direction depending on the length of the supporting body (1) have one or more separation points (14).
The invention relates to a bed of a lathe consisting of an inherently rigid support body made of concrete and metallic guide tracks arranged thereon.
In a known bed of this type - DE-AS 2256029 - the guideways consist of a rigid hollow body made of metal, which is connected to the supporting body made of concrete in full-surface contact by gluing. The disadvantage here is that the rigid body required for this requires a large cross-section, which means that the proportion by weight of the metallic part of the bed in relation to the concrete is relatively large, while the good internal damping, the thermal rigidity and the cost advantage of the concrete compared to metal cannot be used enough.
The object of the present invention is to bring the supporting body made of concrete as close as possible to the machining process and to increase the proportion by weight of the concrete at the expense of the metal portion of the guideways in order to achieve the highest possible dynamic rigidity of the bed with little effort.
According to the invention, this object is achieved by the features specified in claim 1. Preferred embodiments result from the further claims.
The invention is illustrated in the accompanying drawings, for example, and described below. Show it:
Fig. 1 is a front view of a lathe bed, and
FIG. 2 is a side view of FIG. 1.
1 and 2 show a bed of a lathe, consisting of a supporting body 1 made of concrete - preferably reinforced concrete - and guideways 2 and 3, which are designed as separately fastened guide strips 4 and 5.
An upper guide track 2 is inclined to the vertical by 20 and consists of the two guide strips 4. The lower guide track 3 is arranged vertically and consists of the lower guide strips 5.
Fastening strips 6 are embedded in the supporting body 1 and additionally connected to the concrete by screws 7 under prestress. The fastening strips 6 are not continuous over their entire length, as a result of which separation points 14 are present. The guide strips 4, 5 are interchangeably screwed to the fastening strips 6 by screws, not shown. The lower guide strips 5 are shorter, which means that a headstock (not shown) can additionally be screwed directly onto the support body 1 on the fastening strips 6. In addition to the strips 6 1 plates 8 are inserted at various points of the support body, which serve for fastening further units. The supporting body 1 made of concrete is prestressed by means of tie rods 9.
The tie rods 9, which are designed as rods, are provided with a thread 10 at both ends and are either screwed directly into anchor plates 11 embedded in the concrete or are held axially prestressed by nuts 13 resting in recesses 12 of the plates 8 or fastening strips 6. The tie rods 9 are arranged transversely and longitudinally to the guideways 2, 3. This arrangement of prestressed tie rods significantly increases the rigidity of the concrete support body. The direct attachment of individual guide rails to the concrete support body reduces the metal portion of the guideways and increases the concrete portion of the support body, which means that the properties of the good internal damping and the low material costs of the concrete can be better exploited than in the previous applications of concrete for lathe beds.
Due to the guideways formed from individual guideways, several guideways can also be arranged on the support body without the metal content increasing significantly.
