Abstract
This machine comprises a compressor (10) and a motor (50) formed by a free double piston (12, 52) and two coaxial cylinders (11, 51). The cylinder (11) of the compressor comprises two outlets (16, 17) connected to a condenser (20) whose outlet is connected to a reservoir (30) of condensed liquid connected to an evaporator (40) whose outlet ends in the inlets (13, 14) of the compressor (10). The reservoir (30) is also connected to a pump (70) controlled by the piston (12) and connected to a steam generator (60) supplied by an external energy source and whose outlet is connected to a distributor (80) for controlling the ports (53, 54) of the drive cylinder (51). The machine can operate as a heat pump or as a refrigerating machine. <IMAGE>
