The invention relates to a cable clamp, in particular for hanging, movable electrical cables in elevator shafts.
Such cable clamps have the purpose of fastening the cable containing the energy supply and control lines on the one hand to the shaft wall and on the other hand to the elevator car and to relieve the actual electrical connections from tension.
Various designs of cable clips are known. The simplest type are the one-piece, mostly stamped parts, clamps that can be screwed onto the base on both sides of the cable or only on one side of the cable.
In order to achieve a clamping effect, a certain suit must be present. In the event of improper assembly, the clamp is usually deformed and the surface pressure is too high, which can damage the cables. With similar clamps made of cast metal, the deformation of the clamp itself is avoided, but here too the surface pressure can be very high. Improved designs usually consist of two parts that can be screwed together and have a limitation of the tightening range. This in turn has the disadvantage that the tolerances of the cable and clamp may only be small in order to achieve a minimal sufficient clamping effect. Another disadvantage of these clamps is that when several lines are clamped, not all lines are held evenly.
One-piece, tubular cable clamps have the disadvantage that the cable has to be inserted in its longitudinal direction. In addition, these clamps also have the above-mentioned disadvantages with regard to the surface pressure of the cable.
The invention is based on the object of proposing a cable clamp in which the cable can be inserted transversely to its longitudinal axis and in which the clamping effect is achieved without the use of screws, whereby the assembly process does not result in inadmissibly high surface pressure on the cable.
This object is achieved according to the invention in that the cable clamp consists of a U-shaped guide part that can be fixedly mounted on a base and a clamping piece guided in the guide part, with one each at an acute angle to the clamping surface or to the cable groove on the inner sides of the two U-legs of the guide part Guide parts extending wedge guide track is present and the clamping piece has two wedge surfaces loosing together with the wedge guide tracks.
If the cable clamp is to be used on a round cable with at least one cable core twisted in a twisting layer, the length of the guide part and the clamping piece of the cable clamp is advantageously greater than a full wrap around the outermost core of the round cable.
Some exemplary embodiments of the invention are shown in the accompanying drawings, which are explained in more detail below. Show it:
1 shows the fastening of the suspension cable in an elevator shaft by means of the cable clamps according to the invention,
2 shows a side view of the cable clamp on an enlarged scale compared to FIG. 1, FIG. 3 shows a floor plan of the cable clamp in an embodiment for flat cables,
4 shows a plan view of the cable clamp in an embodiment for round cables and
5 shows a floor plan of the cable clamp in a further embodiment for round cables.
In FIG. 1, 1 denotes an elevator car, 2 denotes a guide rail of the elevator car 1, and 3 denotes a wall of the elevator shaft. A cable bridge 6 is attached to a profile 5 attached to the supporting structure 4 of the elevator car 1, by means of which one end of a suspension cable 7 containing the energy supply and control lines for the elevator car 1 is held. The other end of the hanging cable 7 is attached to the wall 3 of the elevator shaft with the aid of another cable clamp 6.
The cable clamp 6 shown in FIGS. 2 and 3 consists of a U-shaped guide part 8 and a clamping piece 9 guided in the guide part 8. The cable clamp 6 is used to hold flat cables or a round cable of small diameter that is received by the cable grooves 8.1, 9.1 becomes. The guide part 8 is fastened to the wall 3 by means of dowels and screws 10, 11, the screws 11 being sunk in the center of the guide part 8 to save space. On the inner sides of the two U-legs 8.2, 8.3 of the guide part 8, a wedge guide track 8.5, 8.6 extending in its longitudinal direction at an acute angle to the clamping surface 8.4 of the guide part 8 is attached. The clamping piece 9 has on two sides 9.2, 9.3 each a wedge surface 9.5, 9.6 running at an acute angle to its clamping surface 9.4.
The inclinations of the wedge guideways 8.5, 8.6 and the wedge surfaces 9.5, 9.6 with respect to the clamping surfaces 8.4, 9.4 are identical and dimensioned so that self-locking occurs after the hanging cable 7 has been inserted and the clamping piece 9 has been pushed into the guide part 8. The clamping surfaces 8.4, 9.4 are dimensioned in such a way that only a small surface pressure arises in relation to the required holding force for the traveling cable 7.
The wedge guideways 8.5, 8.6 and the wedge surfaces 9.5, 9.6 form with the inner sides of the U-legs 8.2, 8.3 and
with pages 9.2, 9.3 an acute angle. This has the effect that when the clamping piece 9 is pushed in, the U-legs 8.2, 8.3 are not pushed apart.
4 and 5, the cable clamp 6 consists of a guide part 12 with U-legs 12.2, 12.3 and wedge guide tracks 12.5, 12.6 and a clamping piece 13 guided in the guide part 12 with wedge surfaces 13.5, 13.6 running on its sides 13.2, 13.3. Guide part 12 and clamping piece 13 each have a groove 12.1 or 13.1 for receiving a round cable of the corresponding diameter. Two shaped pieces 14 are inserted to accommodate a round cable of smaller diameter (FIG. 4). The two molded pieces 14 extend over the entire length of the cable clamp 6 and each have a flange 14.1 at their ends. If two round cables with a smaller diameter are to be clamped, two fittings 15 are inserted (FIG. 5). The two molded pieces 15 also extend over the entire length of the cable clamp 6 and each have a flange 15.1 at their ends.
The length of the cable clamp 6 or the shaped pieces 14, 15 is chosen so that a full looping of the outer wire rope layer of the round cable is encompassed.
The guide parts 8, 12 and the clamping pieces 9, 13 are preferably made of a thermoplastic plastic, the clamping pieces 9, 13 having recesses 9.7, 13.7 due to the manufacturing process and for reasons of material savings.
