Abstract
The main body of the glider is made from two circular half shells joined by a watertight seam, and with the space between the shells filled with a plastics foam, for rigidity. A plastics window (5) under the craft has a shaft above it to the upper surface. The underside of the glider is fitted with skids (2) for use on snow. When used on a water a special delta shaped buoyancy wing (9) is attached to the under side by suction joints (10), and with the wing located over the ends of the skids. The user lies prone on the glider, and when used on the water, a clear view is obtained through the window.
Description
Fig. 2 eine Seitenansicht des Gerätes samt Auftriebskörper,

The invention relates to sports equipment for use on snow or in water.
In the claim of the main patent, such a device is described, which has approximately the shape of a disc-like disc, on the underside of which there are runners and on the upper side of which there are seating or lying surfaces.
The invention relates to an advantageous further development of this sports device and is characterized in that it has an additional, removable buoyancy body on the rear side on its underside.
This prevents the device from being too deeply immersed in the water at the rear and, for example, filling the window opening described in the main patent with water, which makes underwater observations very difficult.
An exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is shown in the drawing. Show it:
Fig. 1 is a view of the device from below, including the float,
2 shows a side view of the device including the float,
3 is a perspective view of a suction cup for attaching the float.
The sports equipment according to FIGS. 1 and 2 is designed as a disc-like disc 1 and can be used on snow and in water. The disk 1 consists essentially of two plastic half-shells which are tightly connected to one another along the outer edge. The inner cavity thus formed is preferably filled with a plastic foam with closed cells.
The underside of the pane has two parallel, spaced-apart runners 2 aut, which extend over the entire length of the pane from to the rear. There is also a slightly shorter, third runner 3 in between. On the front side there is a breakthrough 4 in the pane, which is sealed watertight at the bottom by a transparent glass or plastic pane 5. Otherwise, the structure and design of the disc 1 corresponds to that described in the main patent.
In order to increase the rear buoyancy, if this device is to be used on the water for underwater observations, an additional buoyancy body 7 is connected to the underside of the disc. This buoyancy body 7 has essentially the shape of a delta wing and is detachably connected to the disc with two double suction cups 10 according to FIG. 3, as can be seen from FIGS. 1 and 2.
The top of the float 7 contains grooves 8 into which the runners 2, 3 protrude. The ends 9 of the buoyancy body 7 protrude laterally beyond the disk 1. Due to this buoyancy body 7, the rear part of the disk sinks less deeply in the water when a swimmer rests with his upper body on the upper side of the disk 1 and wants to make underwater observations through the window 5. This means that no water can flow into the window from above and impair visibility. When the disk 1 is used on snow, the float 7 is then removed.
A variant of the disc is that this device is not circular in plan, but elongated; the length can be about twice the width. Even with such a training, the window is on the front.
PATENT CLAIM
Sports device according to the patent claim of the main patent, characterized in that it has an additional, removable buoyancy body (7) on its underside at the rear.
SUBCLAIMS
1. Sports device according to claim, characterized in that the buoyancy body (7) has approximately the shape of a delta wing.
2. Sports device according to claim, characterized in that the wing ends (9) of the float (7) protrude laterally beyond the disc (1).
3. Sports device according to claim, characterized in that the connection between the buoyancy body (7) and the underside of the disc by at least two suction cups (10) takes place.
