kuppelt.

The new dyes are used for dyeing or printing fibers, threads or textiles made therefrom which consist of or contain acrylonitrile polymers or acrylonitrile polymers.
You can also dye or print synthetic polyamides or synthetic polyesters which have been modified by acidic groups. Such polyamides are known, for example, from Belgian patent specification 706 104. The corresponding polyesters are known from US Pat. No. 3,379,723.
The dyes are also used to color plastics, leather and paper. It is particularly advantageous to dye in an aqueous, neutral or acidic medium at temperatures of 60 ° C. to the boiling point or at temperatures above 100 ° C. under pressure. Level dyeings with good lightfastness and good wet fastness properties are obtained.
Those dyes which have good solubility in organic solvents are also suitable for coloring natural plastic compounds or dissolved or undissolved oil, synthetic resin or natural resin compounds. Some of the new dyes can be used, for example, to dye tanned cotton, wool, silk, regenerated cellulose and synthetic polyamides. It has been shown that mixtures of two or more of the new dyes or mixtures with other cationic dyes can also advantageously be used.
In the compounds of the formula (XX), the anion AG can be exchanged for other anions, e.g. B.
with the aid of an ion exchanger or by reacting with salts or acids, optionally in several stages, e.g. B. via the hydroxide.
Anion AG is understood to mean both organic and inorganic ions, e.g. B. halogen, such as chlorine, bromine, iodide, or hydroxide, carbonate, bicarbonate, methyl sulfate, sulfate, disulfate, perchlorate, phosphate, phosphotungsten molybdate, benzenesulfonate or napthalenesulfonate, 4-chlorobenzenesulfonate, Oxalate, acetate, maleate, propionate, methanesulfonate, chloroacetate or benzoate ions or complex anions, such as. B. of zinc chloride double salts.
It is assumed that the compounds of the formula (XX) are in a tautomeric state represented by the formulas
EMI2.3
marked, is available.
Particularly good compounds are obtained when R1 is the cyano group and R> an alkyl radical, in particular the methyl radical or an aryl radical, e.g. B.
mean a phenyl radical.
The compounds of the formula (XX) are preferably free from water-solubilizing groups, in particular from sulfonic acid groups.
In any case, halogen is preferably to be understood as meaning chlorine or bromine.
The radicals R6 to R (, mean, if R8 and R (, are not a hydrogen atom, optionally substituted methyl, ethyl, propyl or butyl radicals, cycloalkyl radicals, such as cyclohexyl radicals. If these radicals are substituted, they contain in particular a hydroxyl group , a halogen atom, the cyano group or a phenyl group; alkyl can represent an arallryl group, e.g. a benzyl group.
The radicals R6 and R7 can form a heterocycle together with the adjacent NC atom, e.g. B. a pyrrolidine, piperazine, morpholine, aziridine or piperidine ring.
The radical R6 together with R8 and / or the radical R7 together with R9 and the N atoms adjacent to these substituents can form a saturated or unsaturated, advantageously 5- or 6-membered heterocycle, for example a pyrazolidine, pyridazine or pyrazoline ring, e.g. . B. trimethylene pyrazolidine or tetramethylene pyrazolidine etc.
The radicals Rlo, R11, R12 and R1; 3 mean z. B.
optionally substituted methyl, ethyl, propyl or butyl radicals, cycloalkyl radicals such as cyclohexyl radicals.
If these radicals are substituted, they contain in particular a hydroxyl group, a halogen atom, the cyano or a phenyl group; Alkyl can represent an araikyl, e.g. B. stand a benzyl radical.
The radicals Rlo and R11 can form a heterocycle together with the adjacent N atom, for example a pyrrolidine, piperidine, morpholine, aziridine or piperazine ring.
The radicals R1 ", R11 and R1. Together with the adjacent NfP atom can form a heterocycle, for example a group of the formula
EMI3.1
or represent a pyridinium ring.
The group of the formula
EMI3.2
or
EMI3.3
stands for the remainder of a multi-membered, preferably 5- or 6-membered, optionally further substituted ring to which further cyoloaliphatic, heterocyclic or aromatic rings are condensed. These groups, as well as the heterocyclic radicals D2, can accordingly represent a pyridine, quinoline, piperidine, isoquinoline or tetrahydroquinoline ring, etc.
As heterocyclic ring systems, preferably 5 or 6-membered ring systems, which optionally further cycloaliphatic, heterocyclic or aromatic rings can be fused on, came into consideration, for. B. a thiazole, benzothiazole, thiadiazole, indazole, imidazole, pyrrole, indole, oxazole, isoxazole, pyrazoline, pyridine or quinoline etc. Divalent bridge members Y2 can be optionally substituted alkylene radicals with, for example, 1 to 6 carbon atoms, the alkylene radicals being straight-chain or branched or may be interrupted by heteroatom or heteroatom groups, e.g. B. by -0-, 5-
EMI3.4
wherein R15 denotes a hydrogen atom or an optionally substituted hydrocarbon radical.
Preferred acyl radicals, preferably acyl radicals which do not make water-solubility, correspond to the formula R.sup.1 or R.sup.17X2, where R.sup.1G is an optionally substituted hydrocarbon radical which may contain heteroatoms.
R17 is a hydrogen atom or an optionally substituted hydrocarbon radical which may contain heteroatoms, Xl -0-CO- or -SO,
EMI3.5
mean.
Aryl radicals are advantageous for phenyl radicals, they can also mean naphthyl radicals,
Hydrocarbon radicals are, in particular, optionally substituted alkyl, cyclohexyl, phenyl or naphthyl radicals.
Compounds of the formula (XX) in which the radical RÏ contains an amino group are particularly suitable in the form of their salts for coloring acrylonitrile polymerization products.
The coupling of diazotized compounds of the formula (XXI) with a compound of the formula (XXII) can be carried out by the customary methods.
Compounds of the formula (XXII) in which, for example, R. stands for the methyl group and R1 for the cyano group are described by U.Basu in Journal of the Indian Chem. Soc. Vol. 8, pages 323-324.
In the following examples, parts are parts by weight, percentages are percentages by weight, and temperatures are given in degrees Celsius.
Example 1
13.5 parts of 1-amino-4-acetylbenzene are diazotized as usual in 200 parts of 6 of the above ice-cold hydrochloric acid.
A solution consisting of 1- (3'-N ', N'-N'-trimethyl ammonium) -propyl-2-keto-3-cyano-4-methyl-6-hydroxy-1 is added dropwise to this solution : 2-dihydropyridine methyl sulfate and 150 parts of water in one hour. At the same time, 200 parts of a 14% aqueous solution of crystallized sodium acetate are added. After coupling, the dye is converted into the chloride with sodium chloride and salted out. Filtered off, washed out, dried and ground, the new dye turns into a yellow powder.
It dissolves in water and can then be used to dye polyacrylonitrile in real greenish-yellow tones.
If in this example the 40 parts of 1- (3 'N', N ', N'-trimethylammonium) propyl-2-keto-3-cyano-4-methyl-6-hydroxy-1: 2-dihydropyridine are replaced by the equivalent amounts of 1- [2 '- (pyridinium (2) chloride] ethyl-2-keto-3-cyano-4-methyl-6-hydroxy-1: 2-dihydropyridine or 1- [2' - (morpholinium chloride )] - ethyl - 2-keto-3-cyano-4'-methyl-6-hydroxy-1: 2dihydropyndine, dyes with excellent properties are obtained.
If the 13.5 parts of 1-amino-4-acetylbenzene are replaced in the example by an equivalent amount of the amines mentioned below, dyes with equally good properties are obtained. The dyes obtained give yellow to reddish yellow dyeings on polyacrylonitrile.
1-amino-2-n, itro-4-methylbenzene 1 -amino-4-benzoylamino-benzene 1 - mino-4'-chlorodiphenyl ether 1 -amino-4-sulfonic acid dimethylamide 1 -amino-2-chlorobenzene 1 -amino-4- chlorobenzene 1 -amino-3-chlorobenzene I -amino-2,5-dichlorobenzene l -amino-3,4-dichlorobenzene 1 -amino-2-bromobenzene 1 -amino-3-bromobenzene l -amino-2,4,6- tribromobenzene 1-amino-2,4'6-trichlorobenzene 1 -amino-2-methoxy-benzene 1-amino-2-methylbenzene 1 -amino-3-methylbenzene 1 -amino-4-methylbenzene 1 -amino-2,5- dimethylbenzene 1-amino-2-methoxybenzene-5-sulfonic acid amide 1-amino-4-nitrobenzene I-amino-3-nitrobenzene l-aminobenzene 1-amino-2-methoxy-4-nitrobenzene 1 -amino-2-methoxy-5- nitrobenzene 1 <RTI
ID = 4.6> -amino-3-chloro-4-methoxybenzene 1-amino-4-acetylamino-benzene 1-amino-4-methoxybenzene 1-amino-4-ethoxybenzene 1-amino-2,6-dichloro-4-nitrobenzene 1-amino-2'4,5-trichlorobenzene 4-amino-4-chloro-diphenyl ether.
Coloring prescription:
20 parts of the dye from Example 1 are mixed with 80 parts of dextrin in a ball mill for 48 hours. 1 part of the preparation thus obtained is made into a paste with 1 part of 40% acetic acid, 200 parts of demineralized water are poured over the paste and briefly boiled. It is diluted with 7000 parts of demineralized water, 2 parts of glacial acetic acid are added and 100 parts of polyacrylonitrile fabric are added to the bath at 60.degree. The material can be pretreated beforehand for 10 to 15 minutes at 60 in a bath consisting of 8000 parts of water and 2 parts of glacial acetic acid.
The mixture is heated to 98-100 "within 30 minutes, boiled for 11/2 hours and rinsed. A greenish yellow dyeing with good lightfastness and good wet fastness properties is obtained.
