Behälterartiges Handgerät zum Reinigen von Silbergegenständen
Die Erfindung betrifft ein behälterartiges Handgerät zum Reinigen von Silbergegenständen, insbesondere für Silberbestecke, Silberplatten, Silberkannen, usw., mit becherartigem Gefässunterteil, Schnappdeckel und einem in den Unterteil einsetzbaren Tragkorb.
Behälterartige Geräte zum Reinigen von Silberbestecken sind bekannt. Bei diesen sind teils zylindrische, teils konischzylindrische becherförmige Unterteile mit einem wegnehmbaren Schnappdeckel oder Schraubverschluss versehen, die den Behälterinhalt flüssigkeitsdicht abschliessen sollen.
Diese Reinigungsgeräte weisen jedoch Nachteile auf.
Die Schnappverbindung zwischen Flüssigkeitsbehälter und Deckel bildet wohl einen zuverlässigen Verschluss, ist jedoch durch Frauenhände nur mühsam zu öffnen und zu schliessen. Die bis heute bekannten Schraubverschlüsse verlangen zuviele Umdrehungen, um das Gerät flüssigkeitsdicht zu verschliessen. Genaue Untersuchungen haben ergeben, dass die Hausfrauen wünschen, dass das Gerät mit einem Schraubverschluss mit V2 bis 3/4 Umdrehung flüssigkeitsdicht verschlossen wird.
Das Reinigungsgerät gemäss vorliegender Erfindung ist so ausgebildet, dass diese Nachteile behoben werden und dass das Gerät zudem aussenseitig zum Reinigen von Silberplatten, Silberkannen, usw., verwendet werden kann.
Dieses behälterartige Reinigungshandgerät ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Gefässunterteil aus durchsichtigem, unzerbrechlichem Kunststoff besteht, nach oben kegelförmig erweitert ist, und am oberen Rand aussen einen Gewindegang aufweist, dass ein auf den Gefässunterteil aufschraubbarer Hut vorgesehen ist, der in der Achsrichtung nach unten eine durch zwei konzentrische Räder begrenzte Nut aufweist, wobei der innere Rand nach der Nutseite konisch ist, so dass er den Rand des Gefässunterteils inseitig klemmend abdichtet und wobei der äussere Rand nach innen gegen die Nut einen auf das Gewinde des Gefässunterteils passenden Gewindegang aufweist, und radial nach au ssen einen Verstärkungsring bildet, dass der Hut oben mit einem Boden versehen ist, der in seiner Mitte eine nabenähnliche Verstärkung aufweist, in der ein nach oben erweitertes nadeldickes Rundloch vorgesehen ist,
dass der Hutboden durch eine an seiner Oberseite angebrachte Scheibe versteift ist, auf welcher ein zylinderförmiger Gummischwamm angeklebt ist, der längs seiner Achse in der Mitte kreuzweise durchschnitten ist, dass der Hut oben einen zylinderähnlichen Rand aufweist, der mit einer radial nach aussen vorstehenden Schnappfeder versehen ist, dass der Schnappdeckel einen zylinderförmigen Rand aufweist, der an seinem untern Ende mit einer radial nach innen vorstehenden Schnappfeder versehen ist, welche die Schnappfeder des oberen Hutrandes untergreift, dass der Schnappdeckelboden in seiner Mitte einen nach unten gerichteten konischen Schliessdorn aufweist, dessen Länge so bemessen ist, dass er infolge der Elastizität des Schnappdeckelbodens in eingeschnappter Lage des Schnappdeckels durch den Gummischwamm in das Nadelloch im Hutboden drückt und dieses flüssigkeitsdicht abschliesst,
und dass der Tragkorb einen beckenförmigen gelochten Boden, einen grossmaschig gelochten Mantel, einen obern Rand und einen mit diesem verbundenen, nach oben vorstehenden Griff aufweist.

Das behälterartige Reinigungs-Handgerät weist einen runden becherförmigen Unterteil 1 auf, der aus durchsichtigem, unzerbrechlichem Polystyrol besteht, nach oben kegelförmig erweitert ist und am oberen Rand 2 aussen einen Gewindegang 3 aufweist (Fig. 3).
An diesem ist ein aufschraubbarer Hut 4 aus Niederdruck-Polyäthylen vorgesehen, der in der Achsrichtung nach unten eine durch zwei konzentrische Ränder 5, 6 begrenzte Nut 7 aufweist. Der innere Rand 5 ist nach der Nutseite konisch, so dass er den Rand 2 des Gefässunterteils 1 innseitig klemmend, abdichtet. Der äussere Rand 6 weist nach innen gegen die Nut 7 einen auf das Gewinde 3 des Gefässunterteils 1 passenden Gewindegang 8 auf und bildet radial nach aussen einen Verstärkungsring 9.
Der Hut 4 ist oben mit einem Boden 10 versehen, der in seiner Mitte eine nabenähnliche Verstärkung 11 aufweist, in der ein nach oben erweitertes nadeldickes Rundloch 12 vorgesehen ist. Der Hutboden 10 ist durch eine seiner Oberseite angebrachte Scheibe 13 aus Polystyrol versteift. An der angerauhten Oberseite dieser Scheibe 13 ist ein zylinderförmiger Gummischwamm 14 angeklebt. Dieser ist in seiner Mitte 15 längs seiner Achse kreuzweise durchschnitten.
Der Hut 4 weist oben einen zylinderähnlichen Rand 16 auf, der mit einer radial nach aussen vorstehenden Schnappfeder 17 versehen ist.
Au den Hut 4 ist ein wegnehmbarer Schnappdeckel 18 aus Niederdruck-Polyäthylen geklemmt, der einen zylinderförmigen Rand 19 aufweist. Dieser ist an seinem untern Ende mit einer radial nach innen vorstehenden Schnappfeder 20 versehen, welche die Schnappfeder 17 des obern Hutrandes 16 untergreift.
Infolge der Elastizität des Materials ist der Schnappdeckel 18 wiederholt ansetzbar. In seiner Mitte weist der Schnappdeckelboden 21 einen nach unten gerichteten konischen Schliessdorn 22 auf, dessen Länge so bemessen ist, dass er infolge der Elastizität des Schnappdeckelbodens 21 in eingeschnappter Lage des Schnappdeckels 18 durch den Gummischwamm 14 in das Nadelloch 12 im Hutboden 10, 11 drückt und dieses flüssigkeitsdicht abschliesst.
Im Gefässunterteil 1 ist ein einsetzbarer Tragkorb 23 aus Niederdruck-Polyäthylen vorgesehen. Dieser weist einen beckenförmigen gelochten Boden 24, einen grossmaschig gelochten Mantel 25, einen obern Rand 26 und einen mit diesem verbundenen Griff 27 auf. Der Griff 27 ist als Firmenzeichen ausgebildet und so bemessen, dass er bis nahe an den Hutboden 10 reicht.
Das beschriebene Handgerät kann zum Reinigen von Silberbestecken und grossen Silberplatten verwendet werden, und zwar wie folgt: Der Gefässunterteil 1 wird teilweise mit Reinigungsflüssigkeit angefüllt, die wiederholt verwendet werden kann. Das zu reinigende Silberbesteck wird in den Tragkorb 23 gestellt, der Hut 4 samt Schnappdeckel 18 auf den Gefässunterteil 1 geschraubt, wobei l/, bis 3/ Drehung genügt, damit die Flüssigkeit nicht durchsickern kann. Durch Schütteln in der Achsrichtung wird das Silberbesteck gereinigt, wobei sich insbesondere die schwarze Oxydschicht, wie Sulfidschicht auflöst. Hierauf wird der Hut 4 weggeschraubt, der Tragkorb 23 am vorstehenden Griff 27 aus dem Gefässunterteil 1 herausgezogen und samt Besteck durch Wasser abgespült.
Die Aussparungen am Tragkorb 23 sind derart geformt, dass die daran haftende Reinigungsflüssigkeit infolge ihrer Oberflächenspannung nicht abtropft.
Bei abgehobenem Schnappdeckel 18 ist das beschriebene Handgerät aussenseitig mit vorstehendem Schwamm 14 als Putzgerät für Silberplatten ausgebildet.
Das Handgerät wird mit dem aus dem Hut 4 vorstehenden Gummischwamm 14 nach unten gerichtet auf die Silberplatte gesetzt und der Gummischwamm 14 darauf bewegt. Dieser weist eine Feinheit auf die, wenn Schwamm 14 beleuchtet, jegliches gebrauchtes Silber nicht verkratzt wird. Durch das Nadelloch 12 des Hutbodens 10 sickert Reinigungsflüssigkeit aus dem Gefässunterteil 1 in den Schwamm 14.

Container-like devices for cleaning silver cutlery are known. In these, partly cylindrical, partly conical-cylindrical, cup-shaped lower parts are provided with a removable snap-on lid or screw cap, which are intended to close the container contents in a liquid-tight manner.
However, these cleaning devices have disadvantages.
The snap connection between the liquid container and the lid forms a reliable closure, but can only be opened and closed with difficulty by women’s hands. The screw closures known to date require too many turns in order to close the device in a liquid-tight manner. Exact investigations have shown that the housewives want the device to be sealed liquid-tight with a screw cap with V2 up to 3/4 turn.
The cleaning device according to the present invention is designed in such a way that these disadvantages are eliminated and that the device can also be used on the outside for cleaning silver plates, silver jugs, etc.

The container-like cleaning hand-held device has a round, cup-shaped lower part 1, which consists of transparent, unbreakable polystyrene, is widened conically upwards and has a thread 3 on the outside on the upper edge 2 (FIG. 3).
On this a screw-on hat 4 made of low-pressure polyethylene is provided, which has a groove 7 delimited by two concentric edges 5, 6 downwards in the axial direction. The inner edge 5 is conical towards the groove side, so that it seals the edge 2 of the lower vessel part 1 by clamping it on the inside. The outer edge 6 has towards the inside against the groove 7 a thread 8 which fits onto the thread 3 of the lower vessel part 1 and forms a reinforcing ring 9 radially towards the outside.
The top of the hat 4 is provided with a base 10, which has a hub-like reinforcement 11 in its center, in which a needle-thick round hole 12 is provided which is enlarged upwards. The hat base 10 is stiffened by a disc 13 made of polystyrene attached to its top. A cylindrical rubber sponge 14 is glued to the roughened top of this disk 13. This is cross-cut in its center 15 along its axis.
The top of the hat 4 has a cylinder-like rim 16 which is provided with a snap spring 17 protruding radially outward.
A removable snap-on lid 18 made of low-pressure polyethylene, which has a cylindrical edge 19, is clamped to the hat 4. This is provided at its lower end with a radially inwardly projecting snap spring 20, which engages below the snap spring 17 of the upper edge 16 of the hat.
As a result of the elasticity of the material, the snap-on cover 18 can be attached repeatedly. In its center, the snap-on lid base 21 has a downwardly directed conical locking pin 22, the length of which is so dimensioned that, due to the elasticity of the snap-on lid base 21, when the snap-on lid 18 is in the snapped-in position, it presses through the rubber sponge 14 into the needle hole 12 in the hat base 10, 11 and this closes liquid-tight.
In the lower part of the vessel 1 an insertable carrying basket 23 made of low-pressure polyethylene is provided. This has a basin-shaped perforated base 24, a large-mesh perforated jacket 25, an upper edge 26 and a handle 27 connected to this. The handle 27 is designed as a company logo and is dimensioned such that it reaches close to the bottom of the hat 10.
The hand-held device described can be used for cleaning silver cutlery and large silver plates, specifically as follows: The lower part of the vessel 1 is partially filled with cleaning fluid which can be used repeatedly. The silver cutlery to be cleaned is placed in the carrying basket 23, the hat 4 together with the snap-on lid 18 is screwed onto the lower part of the vessel 1, with 1 / to 3 / rotation being sufficient to prevent the liquid from seeping through. The silver cutlery is cleaned by shaking in the axial direction, whereby the black oxide layer, such as the sulfide layer, in particular, dissolves. The hat 4 is then unscrewed, the carrying basket 23 is pulled out of the lower part of the vessel 1 by the handle 27 above and is rinsed with water along with the cutlery.
The recesses on the carrier basket 23 are shaped in such a way that the cleaning liquid adhering to them does not drip off due to its surface tension.
When the snap-on cover 18 is lifted off, the hand-held device described is designed on the outside with a protruding sponge 14 as a cleaning device for silver plates.
The hand-held device is placed on the silver plate with the rubber sponge 14 protruding from the hat 4 facing downwards, and the rubber sponge 14 is moved on it. This has a delicacy that when the sponge 14 is illuminated, any used silver will not be scratched. Cleaning liquid seeps from the lower part 1 of the vessel into the sponge 14 through the needle hole 12 of the hat base 10.
