Method for laying electric cables along a railway track
and installation for the implementation of this method
The development of light signaling, automatic blocking, security installations, network telephony, etc., require, in the current state of telecommunications technology, the mechanization of the laying of electric cables along the track. railroad.
The present invention relates to a method for laying electric cables along a railway track and an installation for implementing the method.
Arrangements are known capable of carrying out this installation in neighboring land, but besides depending on the profile - for example that of an excavated track - these arrangements are not suitable in all cases, operations outside the property of the
Railways raise delicate issues. In addition, in these unattended grounds, the cables can only be buried, which complicates or prevents their control, that of the splices and the possibility of modification.
The object of the present invention is to remedy these drawbacks, that is to say to lay the cables in the immediate vicinity of the track, for example in the bench seat, and on the other hand, to ensure their accessibility for overhaul and repair.
The method which is the subject of the invention is characterized in that by means of an installation composed of machines running on the track, the bench is prepared, the ballast is rolled up, a longitudinal excavation is dug, the excavated earth is moved, a bed of sand is distributed in the bottom of the excavation, gutters are placed on this bed, the gutters deposited are fitted together to form a continuous channel, the electric cables are unwound in this channel, the gutters are covered with covers, and the ballast is returned to its natural slope.
The installation for implementing this method is characterized in that it comprises groups of wagons, one of these groups comprising at least two wagons, one of which, intended for the storage of the channels, is connectable to the other. by a folding bridge, a handling trolley being able to be moved from one to the other of said wagons, said trolley being carrying jacks actuated by a compressor and provided with devices intended to grip at least one channel by pressing against its interior walls and at least one device for routing the channels to the bottom of the excavation, another group of at least two wagons, one of which is intended for the storage of the covers, is linked to the other by a bridge foldable,
a handling trolley being able to be moved from one of these wagons to the other.
In a particular embodiment, the installation comprises a motorized trencher capable of rolling on the track; it has a side chain supported in cantilever; this chain which makes the excavation can, at will, be arranged to the left or to the right of the track and, moreover, it is foldable in the template when the machine rolls high the foot.
The earth is, when possible, thrown back onto the embankment by a pivoting boom and otherwise it is carried by carriers to evacuation wagons; these cars are pulled by a tractor.
The trencher and the train of the wagons form a first operating group.
A second group consists of several wagons, for example three wagons, one of which is motorized; the function of this group is to sand the bottom of the excavation and to deposit gutters. This motorized wagon pushes the sand wagon and pulls the wagon which carries the gutter; this motor wagon also serves as a support for various vehicles, in particular those for routing the gutters, which may include, among other things, lifting devices.
The sand is loaded by any means on conveyors which flow it through corridors in the bottom of the excavation; the inclination of the drop lanes is adjustable; the loading means allow a variable flow density of the distribution of the sand.
The channels are stored in their wagon so that the channels are taken care of, without disturbing the order of the other channels, by a mobile handling system; this handling system is based on a trolley running on the cani lime wagon.
This trolley is equipped with gripping devices which have the function of grabbing one or more gutters and placing them at the starting point of their routing to the excavation. The handling trolley draws its electrical and pneumatic energy from the machines of the central car to which it remains connected during its movements; it is stored on the central wagon when walking high and, for this purpose, the two wagons are connected by a platform. The gripping devices preferably consist of double piston cylinders; the cylinder is lowered by lifting devices inside the U-shaped channel, so that the pressurization of the cylinder pushes the pistons which will bear against the internal wall of the channel; this pressure is sufficient to develop a friction appropriate to the support of the channel.
A third operating group consists of a cable reel mounted on a suitable wagon and towed; this machine is, in itself, known.
A fourth group is formed of a motorized wagon towing the wagon loaded with channel covers. The function of its equipment is to grasp the covers, place them at the starting point of their routing to the channels already installed and ensure this routing until the cover of the channels.
This group can be equipped with a carriage similar to that of the second group; as the lids are light, the gripping operations can be manual and the transport of the lids can be carried out by a non-motorized cart.
The regaleuse who had prepared the bench is completing the work.
The accompanying drawing represents, by way of example, one embodiment of the invention.
Fig. 1 represents a longitudinal schematic view of the first operating group and in particular the slicer.
Fig. 2 shows a longitudinal view of the group for sanding and depositing the channels.
Fig. 3 shows a cross section in XX of FIG. 2.
Fig. 4 illustrates the details of the pneumatic arrangement of the gutters gripping devices.
Fig. 5 shows a longitudinal view of the group of storage cars and the fitting of the covers.
If we refer to fig. 1, we see in 1 the motorized trencher rolling on the rails 2 and digging the excavation 9 by the operating chain 3; 10 shows the ballast, 11 cross members and 12 the level of the bench. The earth excavated by the buckets of the chain is collected in a hopper 7 from where it falls on a conveyor screen 8, then on other belts of the boom 4 and finally on a belt 5 of the evacuation wagons 6.
In fig. 2, 3 and 4, we see at 22 the motorized wagon of the sandblasting group and deposit of the gutters; 23 is the sand wagon while wagon 24 carries the gutters. The sand 26 has been deposited on a belt 25 either manually or by opening more or less the shutter 45 of the hopper 27. The sand is collected by a hopper 28 from which it flows through the channel 29 into the bottom 20 of the tank. excavation and there forms a layer whose upper level is in 21.
In the wagon 22 we see at 30 the engine or any other energy source, at 44 the compressor, at 31 of the reserve lanes of the trolley dump truck and at 32 of the lifting devices.
35 shows the carriage connected to the motorized wagon by an electric cable 39 and a pressure pipe 40; the control console of this carriage is at 36 and 33 represents the lifting platform which allows it to return to park on the motorized car.
The following description relates to the exemplary embodiment of a type of device for gripping the flow channels thereof and for placing them at the bottom of the excavation.
By its rollers 52, the carriage rolls on either side of the heap of channels 34 and is guided by a rail 51. It carries a lifting device 50 which supports the corridor 41 at the head of which is deposited as and one after the other, the gutters shown at 42 during their sliding in the corridor and at 43 after they have been placed in the excavation and fitted into each other; it is observed that the bottom of the corridor is bent so as to slide easily on the sand bed.
The trolley is also equipped with a pneumatic installation connected by pipe 40 to the compressor 44; this installation rests by running rollers 67 on the beam 68 of the carriage and can therefore move or be moved transversely.
The pneumatic installation comprises in particular a vertical cylinder 37; the rod 59 of the piston of this cylinder is integral with a cross member 56 fixed to two cylinders 55, the piston rods 57 and 58 of which are respectively integral with two horizontal cylinders 53 and 54; these horizontal cylinders each contain two pistons 60 terminated by preferably elastic buffers 61.
The installation described makes it possible to enter at the same time two channels 34 'and 34 "by integrating them by pressure with the buffers 61, to lift these channels and to deposit them one after the other on a roller table; the table at 62 and the rollers at 63; this table is inclined either to the right or to the left, thanks to a jack 65 acting on a lever system 66 depending on whether the excavation 9 is on the right or on the left; we see at 64, respectively at 64 ', the pivot points of the roller table.
38 designates a horizontal jack which allows the installation described a certain longitudinal displacement, sufficient to ensure - after release of the channels - the deposit of these channels on said table.
As can be seen in FIG. 3, the ballast was rolled up on the excavation side and the bench seat was clear; this work had been carried out by a regulator.
If we refer more specifically to FIG. 5 shows at 70 a motorized wagon and at 71 a cover transport wagon 73; the retractable platform 72 connects the two wagons and allows the carriage 74 to move from one to the other.
The seizure and the deposit of the covers can be carried out in a manner analogous to what has been described above for the gutters; however, the lids being light, it is also possible - as illustrated in fig. 5 - dispense with mechanical input. The covers are then manually loaded onto the carriage where they form stacks 73 '.
These covers are then pushed onto a table 75, the height of which is variable by virtue of a jack not shown so that it is always at a level appropriate to that of the stack of covers; the latter then slide into the corridor 76 bent at the bottom so that its end is substantially parallel to the bottom of the excavation; the digging depth is adjusted so that the lids are placed flush with the bench at 73 "on the gutters. In wagon 70 we can still see the motor 80 of the hoists 77 and 78 and of the reserve lanes 79.
