Description
Fig. 4).
Fig. 1).
Cutting die The object of the invention is to provide an improvement in known cutting dies which have a steel strip knife which is bent into a closed shape and which is held on a base plate.
So far, a steel strip knife is firmly and permanently connected to a precisely cut base plate. Such dies are thrown away after use, as they are difficult to modify and reuse after production has run out is not possible. If only minor changes are to be made to a blank, a new base plate must be cut and possibly a new knife must be created. This results in high costs. The idea of avoiding these led to the present invention.
The invention provides that the steel strip is provided with perforations to which holders are attached, which protrude with at least one leg into the interior of the mold and are connected to a base plate by means of further fastening means.
The base plate does not need to be cut exactly according to the template. All-round play compared to the precisely shaped steel band knife is not only insignificant, but even desirable. It enables small changes to the shape by removing the holding bracket, bending the steel strip knife into the new shape and fixing the same by attaching a new holding bracket. These measures are made easier by the fact that the steel strip is prepunched.
Further details can be found in the description below. The drawings show exemplary embodiments of the subject matter of the invention.
Fig. 1 is a plan view of a die according to the invention, Fig. 2 is a sectional view in the area of a holding angle, Fig. 3 is a plan view of a holding angle, Fig. 4 is a sectional view similar to FIG. 2 of a white direct embodiment, Fig. 5 the Type of attachment of a Einschnittmes sers to the steel band knife, Fig. 6 is a sectional view similar to FIG. 2 of a white direct embodiment, Fig. 7 is a partial representation according to FIG. 1 for another embodiment, FIG. 8 is a representation according to FIG. 4 for the execution 7 and 9 show a section through the steel strip for the embodiment according to FIGS. 7 and B.
In Fig. 1 is a plan view of a die for a sleeve part is shown.
One over its entire length with holes in the form of a single or double row of holes ver provided strip steel 1 is bent according to a template to ge closed form.
Brackets 2 are connected to some of the holes, e.g. B. by screwing, riveting with means of so-called pop rivets 5 or. like that.
In individual areas, so-called incision knife 3 or other Mar kierungswerkzeuge, z. B. thorns or punched pipes, with means of retaining plates 3a attached to the steel strip knife 1 by means of screws or rivets 5 (Fig. 5).
The inwardly protruding flange 4 of each holding angle 2 is, as can be seen in FIGS. 2 and 3, provided with punched and bent up flaps in the form of barbs 6.
To set the shape, a base plate 7 is now inserted and the barbs 6 driven into the base plate.
The base plate 7 keeps a not small distance 8 from the steel strip knife 1 on all sides.
Suction cups 9 or magnetic holders or the like, which hold the mold on a press plate, are embedded in the bottom of the base plate 7 or in the ejection plate 10.
Such a punching form can also be used as a mirror-image form if the steel strip 11 is designed like a knife on both sides (see FIG. 4). U-shaped holders 12 are then fastened, for example by means of rivets 15, in the center perforations of the steel strip 11. The inwardly protruding profile legs 14 of the holder 12 encompass the base plate 17. These profile legs have aligned bores for receiving rivets 18, screws or the like.
In Fig. 6, a further embodiment is Darge provides, in which a substantially U-shaped holder 12 is connected to a knife 1 that is sharpened only on one side, similar to the embodiment of FIG.
The holders are appropriately profiled for reasons of strength (Fig. 3).
The incision knife 3 can also be connected to the base plate instead of the knife 1, so that their position is independent of the tape perforation (see FIG. 1).
In the embodiment according to FIG. 7, the base plate is formed by a template which is practically without play in the mold interior. The band steel knife 21 is provided on its inner surface with a groove 22 parallel to the phase (Fig. 9).
The depth of the groove 22 corresponds approximately to the thickness of the base plate 27. The circumferential edge of the base plate 27 engages in the groove 22 when the die is finished. The outline of the template forming the base plate 27 thus coincides with the line formed by the cutting edge 23a or 23b.
If the steel strip 21 is smooth on both sides, d. H. if it does not have a groove 22, the outline of the template forming the base plate 27 must be set back by the phase thickness, in the case of the steel strip knife according to FIG. 9, that is, by half the thickness of the steel strip 21. When the strip steel 21 is flush with the base plate 27, the cutting line 23a or 23b corresponds to the desired outline of the workpiece.
The material from which the template forming the base plate 27 is made is arbitrary. The template can, for example, made of cardboard with a thickness of 2 to 3 mm, plastic, wood, thin metal, transparent material or a material with any cut from exist.
Since in the embodiment according to .den FIGS. 7 and 8 the base plate 27 is less resistant to buckling than in the first embodiment, the holders 212 serve to hold the steel strip 21 exactly perpendicular to the base plate 27 during punching. For this purpose, the holders 212 are provided with a sufficiently large back surface 213, which lies on the inside of the steel strip knife 21 (FIG. 8).
In order to be able to fasten the base plate 27 with the holders 212 between their legs 214, for example by means of rivets 218, the base plate 27 is provided with appropriately semicircular cutouts 271 in the area of each holder 212.
As in the case of the embodiment according to FIG. 4, the holders 212 are connected to the steel strip knife 21 with their wide apex web by rivets 215.
In order to facilitate the handling of the die, especially when placing it on the material to be punched, the base plate with the Fadenver running corresponding rectangular cutouts 272 or - if the plate 27 is made of transparent material - be provided with the thread course corresponding markings.
The idea underlying the second embodiment of the subject invention is to use the same simple and cheap holding means as in the first embodiment to process a precisely worked, existing template made of relatively thin, but sufficiently strong material directly into a die.
The invention is not limited to the illustrated and described exemplary embodiments; much more details can be adapted to the respective purpose without deviating from the basic He inventive concept.
