Luminaire cover, in particular for ceiling and wall lighting The invention relates to a lamp cover, in particular for ceiling and wall lighting, with a diffuser which is held by a housing that frames it and is composed of interconnected profile rails.
Such lamp covers have been made from one-piece tubs made of glass or transparent plastics by blowing, deep-drawing or the like. And with bezels by gluing, screwing ben or the like. Provided. With this shape given from the start, they cannot be adapted to the wall or ceiling surfaces in all cases, in particular not polygonal ceiling openings.
There is a lamp with lighting fixture for ceiling installation become known in which the Seitenwan extension of the housing consists of a frame composed of individual profile rods, in which an air-permeable disc is used, which forms a dust-proof lower end. The profile bars are cut to miter at the joints and connected to each other by Klam and, if necessary, additional gluing.
The invention aims to simplify the assembly and disassembly of the lamps described. For this purpose, it provides that the profile rods forming the luminaire frame are spanned by a tension band, so that a box-shaped housing is created. This eliminates the above-mentioned individual clips at the corners of the housing and eliminates the need for additional gluing.
When dismantling, as might be necessary, for example, to replace the electrical installations, only the tape needs to be pinched or cut, with the housing being converted into individual frame parts that can of course be held together again by a new tape.
For lights that protrude from the ceiling or from the wall, this band can be covered by an additional profile strip that simply snaps into the frame parts forming the housing and, in addition to a dust cover, a pleasing cover bil det.
The drawing illustrates the invention in several exemplary embodiments, namely: Fig.l shows a side view of the lamp cover, partly in section, Fig. 2 is a top view of the lamp cover, partly in section, along line II-11 of FIG. 1 in relation to FIG 1 on a reduced scale, FIG. 3 is a side view of a lamp cover in section, with a modified embodiment compared to FIG.
Fig. 4 is a side view of a further embodiment of the lamp cover in section, Fig. 5 is a side view of a lamp cover, partially in section, a further possible embodiment.
According to FIGS. 1 and 2, a diffuser or cover plate 1 of a lamp cover is held in a U-shaped lower edge 2 of a profile frame 3, which can be made of wood, metal or plastic, with an aluminum extrusion particularly useful in the metal version is. The profile 3 has a central web 4 and a flange 5 angled relative to this web with a collar 6 so that, as with conventional blown lamp troughs, the trough can be easily attached to a ceiling 7.
As FIG. 2 illustrates, the lamp tub framing can be composed of four parts of the profile 3. Square, rectangular or other polygons can be formed from such parts, which have to be held together to form a unit, and a tensioning strap 8, which can be made of metal, plastic or rubber and is located between two webs 9 of the profile frame 3, is used for this purpose. In the case of a metal band it is clamped together at the ends, as e.g. is known for packaging.
Instead of a flat band, a metal wire is sufficient, the ends of which are twisted together, or a rubber or elastic plastic ring can be pulled over the frame parts, which also creates a firm bond.
According to Fig.l, the luminaire housing protrudes from under the ceiling 7, so that an external cladding is necessary to cover the strap 8. For this purpose, an additional profile strip 10, which has clamping edges 11, which grasp and hold behind corresponding retaining edges 12 of the profile frame 3 is used. This profile strip 10 is expediently made of plastic, wood or metal, such as aluminum, and the color of the surroundings can be adapted.
According to Fig. 3, the lamp cover is completely embedded in the ceiling or wall 7a, so that the cover plate 1 with the surface e.g. an acoustic ceiling. Such ceilings are mostly suspended on T-support profiles, which offer good fastening options for the lamp cover according to the invention.
Of the four sides of the frame of the light cover, the upper edge of a frame profile 3a is formed into a groove edge 6a with a U-shaped cross-section, which is pushed over the flange of a T-beam 13, while on the opposite side a frame profile 3b is one has flat, horizontally extending edge 6b, which rests on the flange of a T-beam 13a. The other two sides of the frame are formed by profile frame 3 with collar 6 as in the case of FIG.
A special outer cladding in the form of an additional profile strip is not necessary in this embodiment.
In the embodiment according to FIG. 4, too, the lamp cover is let into the ceiling of the wall 7b. As in the case of FIG. 3, two opposite sides 3c and 3d of the frame are formed with a groove edge 6c and a horizontal edge 6d for pushing on a flange of a T-beam 13b and for placing on a flange of a T-beam 13c. In these edges 6c and 6d, a sealing strip 14 is embedded, which carries the lamp housing 15.
5 shows a further possibility of connecting the lamp housing with the lamp cover. The profile frame 3e runs upwards into a widened flange 5a, into which a plastic magnetic profile 16 is embedded by means of a dovetail connection, which also forms a seal. The lamp housing 15a is provided with a flange 17 on which the profile 16 is held magnetically.
All other parts of the lamp cover are designed as in Figs.
