Alps Verbindungen Ader Formel A-H kommen z.

Process for the preparation of reactive dyes The present invention relates to a process for the inhibition of reactive dyes of the formula
EMI0001.0010
wherein A is an optionally mono- or dm-substituted amino group, Hal. Chlorine or bromine B is the remainder of an azo component,
which are adjacent to a phenolic or enolic liydroxy1gmpp: e, one X - SO "H, the other X signify hydrogen or -SOJI.
The process according to the invention is characterized in that: 1 time a dye of the formula
EMI0001.0039
with 1 mole of ammonia or an amine. implements.
The dyes of formula (11) can be used in a known manner, for. B. by reaction of amino dyes of the formula
EMI0001.0050
with a cyanuric halide according to the information in Swiss Patent No.
438 531 or by diazotizing an amine of the formula
EMI0001.0055
and coupling of the diazo compound with an azo component H-B according to the information in Swiss Patent No. 406 480.
The implementation is advantageous at a tempera ture of. 30 to 60 C and: a pH value of 4 to 6 carried out. The freely turning hydrogen halide is expediently by adding sodium hydroxide; carbonate or bicarbonate neutralized as a powder or as a wisse solution.
Alps compounds vein formula A-H come z. B. possible: ammonia, optionally substituted primary or:
secondary aliphatic, alicyclic, aromatic or heterocyclic amines, but especially aniline, its alkyl and sulfonic acid or C.am- bons, eumed, derivatives, lower mono- or dialkylamines and ammonia.
The finished reactive dye can be salted out with sodium or potassium chloride from its previously neutralized solution or suspension, or it can be precipitated out of acid, then filtered off with suction, washed and dried.
The new reactive fibers are suitable for dyeing ben, padding and: printing on fibers of animal origin, z. B. wool, silk, of synthetic polyamide fibers, z. B. nylon, leather, cellulose fibers, e.g. B. cotton, linen and regenerated cellulose fibers, e.g.
B. viscose rayon, copper rayon, rayon and of mixtures and / or Gebil the, from these fibers. The optimal application conditions differ depending on the type of fiber and the dyes used.
Animal fibers and synthetic polyamide fibers are preferably dyed and printed or fixed in an acidic, neutral or weakly alkaline medium, e.g. B. in the presence of acetic acid, amino acid, sulfuric acid, ammonium sulfate, sodium metaphosphate, etc.
One can also determine in the presence of Egali & i, e.g. B. polyoxäthyli @ crten Fettanllnen or mixtures of the same, en mlt alkyl polyglycol ethers, acidic to neutral in vinegar; n and at the end of the dyeing the bath by adding small amounts of an alkaline r: a @ yeast ending agent, z. B.
Ammonia, sodium bicarbonate, soda, etc., or compounds which react alkaline when exposed to heat, e.g. B. hexamethylene tetramine, urea, blunt to a neutral or slightly alkaline reaction. It is then rinsed thoroughly and, if necessary, acidified with a little acetic acid.
The dyeing, padding and printing or fixing of the dyes on Cellu lo @ sefas-crn is advantageously carried out in an alkaline medium, e.g. B. in the presence of sodium bicarbonate, sodium carbonate, sodium hydroxide solution, potassium hydroxide solution, sodium meitasilicate, sodium borate, trisodium phosphate, ammonia, etc.
To avoid reduction phenomena, when dyeing, padding or printing dier fibers it is often advantageous to use mild oxidizing agents such as 1-nitrobenzene-3-sulfones: au res. Sodium, added. The dyes are fixed: also in the case of cellulose fibers: usually in the heat.
When using strong alkalis such as sodium hydroxide and trisodium phosphate, the dyes can also be used at low temperatures, e.g. B. 20 to 40 C, colored or fixed.
The dyeings and prints on cellulose fibers are particularly notable for their excellent wet fastness properties. These are based on the formation of a stable chemical bond between the dye molecule and the cellulose molecule.
Often not all of the dye takes part in the chemical reaction with the fiber. The proportion of:
In these cases, unreacted dye is removed from the fiber by suitable operations, such as rinsing and / or soaps, if necessary using higher temperatures, whereby; @i also synthetic detergents, z.
B. alkylarylsulfonate, sodium lauryl sulfate, Natriu .mlaurylpolyglykoläthersulfat and mono- and dialkylphenol polyglycol ethers, find use.
In the examples below, the parts are parts by weight, the percentages are percentages by weight and the temperatures are given in degrees Celsius. Example 1 79.7 parts of the dye of the formula obtained according to the information in Swiss patent specification No. 406 480 (Example 11)
EMI0002.0122
are stirred in 1200 parts of water and treated with 17.3 parts of 4-aminobenzene-1-sulfonic acid in the form of an aqueous solution of the sodium salt.
The mixture is heated to 35-40 and the pH is kept between 4 and 6 by adding dilute sodium carbonate solution. After the reaction has ended, the dye is separated with sodium chloride, filtered off with suction and dried in vacuo at 40 '. After grinding, the dye obtained is a yellow powder which dissolves in water with an orange color.
